Frost POV

I was in the forest outside of town trying to get better with creating ice. I've done it a few times in the past, but all I could make were small ice cubes... That's why we never have to buy ice. That Froslass I fought a few months back could create icicles to use as weapons, so I thought maybe I could do the same, but I screw up every time I try it. Doll was standing against a tree watching the whole time.

"Maybe you just can't, I bet you wouldn't even be able to throw it." She said as I tried making another, but failed again.

"So you can't get an easy pass for anger huh?" She said while sliding down the tree. I sat down beside her.

"This is a lot harder then I thought." I stated aloud.

Cream POV

Marshadow and I were listening to Rush go on about music and bands.

"What if we could make music?" I didn't really want to go along with his idea, but he sorta dragged both of us to his basement, where there were a surprising amount of instruments.

"Where did you get this stuff?" I asked while looking around. Rush smiled and showed us a picture of a Lucario.

"Who is that?" Marshadow said what I was thinking.

"It's my dad, he used to be a musician! He taught me how to play drums too!" He put the picture away and sat behind a set of drums.

"Want to hear what I learned?" We nodded and he started with a basic melody.

"Wow, what a performance." Doll said sarcastically after I failed... again.

"Just let me concentrate damnit." I groaned as she smiled.

"What? You want me to stop talking? I don't think so, I'll talk all I want just to annoy you." I turned around and threw a Shadow Ball to the tree to her right.

"Just shut the fuck up!" She flinched, muttered a 'fine' and sat down. I turned back to the target I set up and tried again. I actually managed to make a sharp icicle this time and threw it. It hit the very edge and fell to the ground. Doll chuckled from behind me as I sighed. Throwing a shard of ice is completely different from throwing a Shadow Ball, it actually has weight. I guess Icicle Crash is basically the same thing, but I was never good at that either. I shrugged and started again.

Cream POV

"That was very exceptional." Marshadow said after Rush finished. He put the drumsticks down and looked through other instruments.

"What do you two want to play?" I walked over and saw a keyboard. I took it out and blew the dust off.

"I think I'll take this." I said while Rush nodded. He turned to Marshadow.

"What about you?" Marshadow grabbed a guitar leaning against the wall. He played a few notes and nodded.

"I will use this." He said and we walked to the centre of the room. Rush sat back down behind his drums, Marshadow tuned his guitar, and I set up my keyboard.

"Ready to play?" Rush asked, we nodded. Around an hour later and I found out that I'm not very good at this. Marshadow was better then we thought, but he messed up a lot.

"We'll never be able to do this..." I said with my head on a large box.

"It does not seem like the hardest to learn." Marshadow stated as he fiddled with the strings.

"Don't give up Cream! We can make something at least decent!" Rush said loudly. I sat back up.

"Okay, just don't be so loud." He apologized and I got to work trying to improve my keyboard skills. Marshadow didn't make as much mistakes as before, and I started getting better with the notes. We actually started sounding like a band, albeit a pretty bad one. It eventually got kind of dark outside, so me and Marshadow decided to leave. We said bye and I headed home. Today was better then I expected.

Frost POV

I took aim for the last fucking time, it's dark and I've been doing this for hours. I threw the damn icicle and it actually hit the target.

"Good job. Anyway, it's getting late, I'm leaving." Doll left after she said that, leaving me standing in the woods, pretty pissed off. After all those hours, I can barely hit the target. I inhaled a big breath and let out a really long sigh.

"I hate the universe..." I said aloud to myself before turning around and heading home.

I walked inside to see Cream sweeping.

"Did you have a good day?" She asked as I mumbled a 'yeah, sure' and went to my room to sleep away the headache I gave myself today.
