At Jacob's house, he was in his room looking at the black box Ziwu had given him. He opened the box to reveal a silver dragon amulet. He looked at the dragon to see the wings open and a blue sapphire sitting on its chest.

"Wow," Jacob said as he took it out the box.

He put on the amulet around his neck and changed into his pajamas. He went over to his bed and lay down after pulling back the blankets. He covered up and went to sleep. Out in the woods, some of the pack was on patrol. As they were walking around, a nomad vampire was skulking around close to the boundary line. One of the wolves noticed the nomad and alerted the others. In Jacob's room, he was sleeping in his bed. The amulet around his neck started to glow blue and let out a large pulse of energy. At that exact moment, at the boundary line, it was blown back by an invisible force. The wolves were stunned by what had just happened. The next morning, Jacob woke up feeling a bit weak. Billy wheeled himself into his room to check on him.

"Jacob? Are you awake?" Billy asked.

"I'm up," Jacob said, sitting up slowly.

Billy noticed that something seemed a little off about Jacob. He looked around his neck to see a necklace around his neck.

"WHere did you get that necklace from?" Billy asked.

"Ziwu gave it to me." Jacob said.

Billy looked on Jacob's desk and saw the box Jacob had with him when they left Lanjue and Ziwu's house. He looked in the box and saw a small letter inside. He took the letter out the box and opened it to see a note from Ziwu. It said:

~Jacob,

This necklace is my gift to you. It has a protection spell on it

that can help to protect the people of the tribe. Be careful

when you wear this necklace. The magic of the necklace is

connected to you and me as well. Please do not wear it when going

to bed, or else you will feel weak the next morning. Make sure

to adhere to my warnings.

"Jacob? Did you see this when you opened that gift?" Bill asked, holding up the letter.

"Yes, but I figured it was just a small love note," Jacob said.

"Jacob? It's a warning." Billy said, giving him the letter.

Jacob took the letter from his dad and read it.

"No wonder I felt weak this morning," Jacob said.

"I'll call Lanjue and Ziwu," Billy said before he left the room.

At Li Mansion, Lanjue was working in his office when the phone rang. He picked up the phone and put it to his ear.

"Li Residence. Lanjue speaking." He said.

"Lanjue? It's Billy Black." He said.

"Mr. Black, is everything okay?" He asked.

Billy told Lanjue what had happened that morning, and Lanjue told him he and his sister would be there in a while. He hung up the phone and called for Mr. Xue.

"You called Master?" Mr. Xue asked, coming into his office

"Jacob is weak for the necklace Ziwu gave him," Lanjue said. "Get the energy restoration pills from the basement and get Ziwu."

"Yes, sir." Mr. Xue said.

In Ziwu's room, she was sewing something into a piece of black fabric with white thread. Xiaujiu came into her room while she was sewing and whispered something to her. She stood up and had Xiaojiu get her clothes ready. She walked over to her vanity and started doing her hair. Another maid brought in her dog in a blue and red silk outfit as Ziwu put a jade comb into her hair to hold it into place. Xiaojiu came out of her closet with her favorite Hanfu and helped her get dressed. She took Mei Lin from the maid and grabbed her blue silk bag.

"Xiaojiu? You're coming with me." Ziwu said.

"Yes, ma'am," Xiaojiu said.

Ziwu put on her cloak, and they headed downstairs to leave. At Jacob's house, Jacob was lying in bed as his father was waiting in the living room for Lanjue and Ziwu. Just then, there was a knock on the door. Billy rolled himself to the door and opened it to see Ziwu at the door with her brother behind her.

"Thank god," Billy said. "Can you take a look at him?" He asked.

"Sure," Ziwu said.

Billy let them inside, and Ziwu took off her cloak. Billy noticed that a maid was following behind the siblings, carrying a dog. Lanjue gave Ziwu a large white case, and she walked to Jacob's room. She walked into his room to see him lying back in his bed.

"Jacob? Are you okay?" She asked.

"I feel seriously weak." He said.

She walked over to him and sat on the edge of his bed. She put the case on the floor and checked his pulse at his wrist. She looked at him to see that he was still wearing the amulet. She reached for his neck and took the pendant off of him.

"You will have to stay in bed today," Ziwu said as she took the necklace to his desk.

"Do I have to?" Jacob asked.

"Yes," Ziwu said. "The necklace took away a lot of your energy."

She returned to him and sat on the edge of the bed again. Ziwu opened up the white

case to reveal a bunch of medical supplies. She opened a compartment in the box and pulled out a black box with a silver dragon on it. She opened the box to reveal a blue glow inside the box. She took out a small blue pill from the box and showed it to him.

"Here." She said, giving him the pill.

"What is this?" He asked.

"A revitalizing pill. It will help your body get back the energy that was taken from it." She said.

Jacob swallows the pill with some water and lies back down in the bed. She put the box of pills on his nightstand before pulling the blanket up to cover him.

"Take one pill every day for two weeks," Ziwu said as she closed up the white case.

She got up to leave when Jacob grasped her wrist and pulled her back to him. She lost her balance a bit and landed in his lap. She looked into his eyes as she felt him put his arms around her waist.

"Can you stay with me?" He asked as he held her close.

"Let me text my brother real quick," Ziwu said.

She took out her phone and texted her brother. In the living room, Lanjue and Billy were talking about the White Wolves' pack when his phone beeped in his pocket. He pulled out his phone from his hanfu and saw that his sister had texted him.

Lanjue grasped her hand and kissed it, making her blush. She watched Lanjue as he walked over to his sister as she was saying goodnight to Jacob. She watched as Ziwu gave Jacob a black box. Jacob kissed her on the forehead before running off to his father's truck so they could go home. Lanjue and Ziwu went inside and headed up to bed.

Ziwu: Give Billy an excuse to leave. I will watch after Jacob for the day.

"Mr. Black? My sister said she will look after Jacob for the day." Lanjue said.

"Alright," Billy said.

Lanjue got up to leave and walked over to Xiaojiu. He whispered something to her before telling Billy goodbye. Xiaojiu bowed to Billy in respect and asked him where the kitchen was.
