Luckily for us, the Pokemon Centre's tended to come equipped with rather large battlefields for trainers to have practice or even serious battles at.

And the Viridian City Pokemon Centre, was quite a large one, much larger than the average Pokemon Centre, and as such, the battlefield reflected that.

Honestly, it would have probably looked quite odd to any passerbys as we literally walked around the side of the large Pokemon Centre, Lance and myself in the lead, and being trailed behind by a waddling…pod of paparazzi.

And the barely contained excitement that practically vibrated off of each and every single one of them…was kind of weird.

I'm not gonna lie.

I at first likened Champion's to basically the greatest athletes in the world of the most popular sport.

But, this went beyond that.

I'm not even sure how to describe it, it wasn't even hero worship, it was beyond it as well.

It was almost…cult like actually.

Kind of freaky if I'm being honest.

And not a little bit intimidating. What kind of power and strength inspires such zealotry I wonder?

'Doesn't matter.' I shook my head, putting it out of mind. If I let something like that psyche me out from the very beginning, I had zero chance and had already lost the battle.

Moments later, we were in place, both Lance and myself on opposite sides of the plain ground battlefield outside the back of the Pokemon Centre while the reporters all lined up along the doors of the Pokemon Centre leading out to the battlefield, far enough away that they shouldn't get caught up in the battle, but definitely close enough to get some good up close shots of the battle.

"Jord, may I make a-" Lance began to call over, but before he could finish whatever it was he was going to say, the doors of the Pokemon Centre slid open.

Out stepped a bevy of people. First was Nurse Joy, followed surprisingly by familiar, huge stockily built blonde man, a well dressed man with slicked back black hair dressed in an expensive and dapper black suit, two men in lab coats, one an older gentleman with short greying hair, the other younger with short brown, somewhat spiky hair and wearing rectangular glasses.

The last ones to step through was a beautiful brunette woman dressed in a pink cardigan, and a curvy teenage girl a few years older than me with long reddish brown hair set in a long braided ponytail and bright green eyes dressed in a white uniform of some sort.

…What the fuck?

Nurse Joy, Surge, Giovanni, Professor Samuel Oak, Delia Ketchum, and if I'm not wrong, the professor guy from Journeys and his daughter that was the pal of that twat Goh…right?

Understanding dawned on quite a few of their faces almost immediately, and Nurse Joy outright palmed her face.

"Jord…really?" she groaned aloud.

At her side, Professor Oak rolled his eyes, "Quick as always aren't you Lance?" he mused with a chuckle.

My eyes met those of Surge's own. I expected him to growl at me, maybe glare or something. But instead he just frowned, and gave me a single nod.

…Way more courteous than I was expecting from him the next time we met, odd.

While I'd usually be more interested in Delia or the other girl, Chloe if I remember right, her father being Professor Cerise, instead I found my attention drawn to the black suit wearing man and strongest gym leader in all of Kanto.

And also the secret leader of Team Rocket.

His thin, finely shaven eyebrows raised lightly when he noted me looking at him. I wasn't sure what I was expecting from Giovanni, but it was not for him to smile at me and dip his head in acknowledgement, respectfully so.

Fishy as fuck bro.

"Believe it or not Professor, but it was young Jord that challenged me, he's quite the bold one," Lance laughed, waving the older man off, "And I cannot say I'm not curious myself to see what he is capable of."

"Bold huh…that's an understatement." Surge snorted, crossing his huge arms over his barrel like chest.

That was almost a compliment.

Did I fall into the mirror world back in the Grandpa Canyon and not realise it? Did that effect even reach this far from Kalos?

I'm clearly in bizarro world.

"He'd need to be if that video of him going around on the net is anything to go by," Professor Cerise agreed, "I'm baffled at how a person could become so strong physically, but I'm much more interested in seeing how a trainer with such physicall prowess is regarded by his pokemon, especially the more prideful and violent ones, like that rather odd Dragonite and Gyarados we saw in the footage."

"I'm actually quite interested in that Dragonite myself," Lance nodded in agreement, "Though, right now, I'd prefer to see that Aerodactyl in action. What do you say Jord, will you use it in our battle?"

Eh?

I actually wasn't planning on using Aerodactyl. He was already all healed up and battle ready again, but beyond the one training session I've hardly worked with him at all.

I was planning on fielding Dragonite, Milotic, either Gyarados or Blastoise depending on the what I was up against, Charizard, Fearow and Pidgeot.

I don't doubt I'll lose this, but there's victory to be had even in losing and showing off the crazy and amazing pokemon I have just in looks and rarity is an avenue open to me to earn the awe of others.

"I can't promise he won't go for you," I warned, "He'll listen to me, I've made sure of that, but Aerodactyl still has a real attitude problem."

Aerodactyl had well learned, that he was much lower on the totem pole than he thought he was, and while it wasn't true, I'd even established myself as above him on it in fighting ability.

"I'd be shocked if a pokemon like that didn't," Lance merely chuckled in reply, "Of course I understand it is you giving me a handicap having to use a pokemon you haven't had any real time to train yet in a battle."

…What?

Wait.

I glanced at the reporters to see a few of them hurriedly jotting notes down at his words. Was…he giving me some clout there?

I mean, that's a pretty big boast, to be giving a champion a handicap.

"Fair enough, fine," I shrugged, "So how are we doing this then?" I asked.

"Splendid!" Lance clapped his hands together happily, creating an audible echoing sound, before pointing my way, "It's not only Aerodactyl I'm interested in, but all of your pokemon. How about, we make this a six versus six battle?"

Once more the reporters burst into an excited frenzied chatter. I'm not even sure why. At the chance to see Lance use more than one pokemon in a battle, or because Lance was deeming me worthy of such a thing?

No way I can take that many, I'm betting I can take two or three at most. And he most definitely knew that, hell he probably thought I wouldn't even be able to beat one of his and was just hyping me up in their eyes to give me more clout and butter me up.

Big mistake buddy, you're not dealing with your average trainer anymore. I have gone beyond the standard and reached into the throes of legends themselves.

I in fact know where I can go to capture a few legendary pokemon rather easily if I so desire. Like all I'd need to do is open the door send Golem in, close the door, have him explode, open the door and catch them. They were powerful as all hell, but they were glass cannons.

"Fine with me," I smirked at him and grabbed Aerodactyl's pokeball from my belt, "Better not hold back on me though, else you might have to hand that title over to me before the days out."

"It doesn't actually work like that I'm afraid," Lance gave a booming laugh of amusement, "But message well received."

"My, how exciting!" I heard Delia chirp excitedly, "Not only will we get to see a rare ancient pokemon up close and personal in action, but even the champion himself in battle, aren't we lucky today Chloe?"

The girl standing beside her shrugged her shoulders, "I guess so." she replied, voice flat.

As she spoke, I glanced at her, my eyes meeting hers, and I could see clearly in her gaze, how bored she was. No…not bored, not quite at least.

She stared back at me impassively, before glancing away.

"Alright, then how about I start us off since I gave you such a request?" Lance's voice broke me from my thoughts before I could ponder on the older girls attitude any more and I turned back to see him holding a pokeball in hand, "Come out, Dragonite!"

He released the pokemon from within the pokeball in his hand, and it appeared in a burst of bright silvery white light that formed into a Dragonite.

A huge Dragonite, around the same size as the one I gave to Hilda, if not a little larger.

…Alright, he was totally taking this seriously.

The question is, was this thing is ace or just a secondary or third Dragonite? Well, either way, it was a Dragonite on a champions team, so it wasn't going to be a pushover no matter what.

Well, guess it's my turn now.

"Let's go, Aerodactyl." I declared and released the ancient bully pokemon from his pokeball.

In a burst of silvery white light of his own, Aerodactyl exploded onto the battlefield. As soon as the light faded away, gasps and shouts of excitement erupted from the gathering of reporters.

"Dear…me…" Professor Cerise trailed off, and Oak's eyes went wide. Surge didn't make much of a reaction, beyond his crossed arms tightening and muscles tensing, and Giovanni threaded his fingers together and a large smile spread across his face, excitement in his gaze.

No, not for you.

"Amazing…" Lance drew my attention to him with his awe, staring at Aerodactyl wide eyed as the huge rock and flying type shook his head and yawned, "I had no idea Areodactyl could get so massive, none of the fossil parts we've found so far indicated a size like this."

It was then Aerodactyl noticed he had an audience and stopped shaking his head. He cocked his head to the side and regarded the gathering of reporters and co confusedly, before smirking and spreading his wings wide, "AERRROOOOOOO!" he roared at them, while leering threateningly as he spread his huge wings out as far as they could go intimidatingly.

He stepped towards them and I saw Lance's Dragonite tense, preparing to move, and a few of the reporters let out some panicked yelps.

"Oi, enough." I said simply and loudly.

Aerodactyl froze at my voice and he whipped around to look at me wide eyed, before narrowing his eyes at me and growling, stepping towards me threateningly.

I held my hand up and clenched it into a fist, popping my knuckles audibly as I did, "You wanna go again?" I narrowed my eyes at him and took a step towards him.

Aerodactyl froze in his tracks before backing up quickly, "Aero aero aero!" he waved his wings and shook his head, looking away with a snicker.

Pretending as if it was all a joke.

Typical bully behaviour.

What a cliche.

"…Truly astounding, he's cowed it." Professor Oak noted aloud.

"Indeed, impressive!" Lance grinned massively in agreement, "I see what you mean by an attitude problem now, but to think Aerodactyl would back down from you."

"He's used to being the top of the pecking order," I shrugged and grinned, "I just made sure to show him, he's a lot lower than he thought he was, isn't that right Aerodactyl?"

"Aero!" Aerodactyl grudgingly nodded his massive head, and looked away. Only to blink when he finally then finally noticed the huge Dragonite standing opposite him.

He grinned, showing of all his teeth.

Dragonite raised a single brow, but didn't react.

Aerodactyl probably thought that Dragonite was going to be as easy to throw around as my Dragonite was. Big mistake buddy. Not that I'm gonna warn him.

"We're having a battle with Lance and his Dragonite, which means you need to do what I tell you, okay?" I said.
I'd already established to him what a pokemon trainer was and what would be expected of him earlier.

Aerodactyl gave an explosive sigh, huge head lagging down a bit, but nodded nonetheless.

"Quite the funny character, I have to admit," Lance chortled, "Well then Jord, I give the first move to you, how about you and Aerodactyl start this battle off for us?"

"So what's the plan then?" Hilda asked her cousin as she made her way into the living room, freshy showered and dressed for the day, and running a brush through her currently wet hair.

Her cousin, sitting in the armchair dressed in nothing but her underwear with a bowl of cereal in hand looked up at her, blinking owlishly at her, a spoon stuck in her mouth.

Hilda glanced at the television as Rosa swallowed and noted she was just watching the news, probably looking for any mention of those pokemon stealing freaks they were going to be hunting for soon.

'This is another reason why she isn't allowed anywhere near Jord.' she decided. Rosa had no sense of modesty whatsoever. Honestly, beyond her body, her cousin completely lacked any feminine charm at all.

"Eh, I thought we could y'know go-"

Rosa never got to finish her sentence as the news station, that was currently talking about the weather, suddenly shifted screens to an older man in a business suit, Hilda knew him as the one who covered top of the line pokemon trainer related stories for the Unova news station.

She hummed in interest as he went on about some young hotshot trainer who had apparently gotten his hands on an Aerodactyl of all things, the first known living specimen in the world.

Good for him.

She was about to turn away, when the man announced that they had a live feed from Kanto and the trainer was apparently participating in an exhibition match against Champion Lance.

Despite herself, Hilda got a little excited. It wasn't often she got to see other champions in action beyond Alder, and even he only rarely battled, nobody had actually got passed the Elite Four in years and had the chance to challenge him.
And then the screen shifted to the battlefield.

And she saw Lance and a huge dragonite that reminded of her own sweetie pie gifted to her by her…Booty call? Friend with benefits? Lover? 'I'll put my name on you alright idiot.' Hilda snorted.

She'd tattoo her damn name on his forehead next time she saw him, sassy little overly muscled big dick brat.
And then the screen shifted over to show the amazing sight of the massive Aerodactyl that towered over even Lance;'s Dragonite.

And then its trainer.

"Hey…isn't that Jord?" Rosa blinked.

.

..

"Yes…yes it is," Hilda took a deep breath and closed her eyes and tried to count to five. She failed, "It's only been a god damn few hours, how the hell has he gotten his hands on an Aerodactyl and now battling the freaking champion!?"

Hilda wasn't even sure what to say at this point. How was this even possible? It was like every time she took her eyes off of that muscle brained thug idiot he went and did something crazily impressive, stupidly idiotic, insane, dangerous, life threatening or all of the above.

"Man, he is gonna get so much pussy from this." Rosa snorted, completely unladylike.

And just rained on her parade even more.

The worst of it all though.

Was, she wasn't wrong.

'I should have accepted his offer to come along with me.' Hilda groaned inwardly.

To be perfectly honest, as big and powerful as Aerodactyl was, using him in an actual serious battle, would have usually been a horrible move.

Especially this one in particular.

Out of the three long range attacks Aerodactyl has, one is horrible against dragon types, another takes up a lot of energy to use and would typically tire a normal pokemon out and the third while super effective against flying types, wasn't going to do much as an opening move.

On top of that, Aerodactyl has no head for strategy and I've not trained with him at all in battle as a pokemon of mine, only them him see the scope of what my other pokemon were capable of in a mock battle.

But, Aerodactyl's biggest fault, was also perhaps his biggest saving grace here. He was a bully that loved to lord his strength over others.

That meant his go to, was always the strongest attacks he could muster to show off his dominance, because he is a dumbass like that.

And it had shown during the time he was getting his ass kicked by the rest of my pokemon earlier.

And the simple fact of the matter was-

That those attacks, did not tire him out as much as they would the standard pokemon, because he'd used them so much.

"Giga Impact!" I ordered.

I may as well put Aerodactyl's love of bullying to my advantage and start off big and flashy.

"Aero!" Aerodactyl howled happily and with a flap off his massive wings, ascended into the air and spun, an aura of blazing purple exploding into existence around him, and then sparking golden energy wrapping around the aura.

And an instant later, with the look of a warhead of pure energy, Aerodactyl changed directions and rapidly shot towards Lance's Dragonite. His sheer size and power making it so he cleared the distance in a few blinks of the eye.

Aerodactyl slammed into Dragonite like a raging meteor that thundered through the air and shook the very earth.

And Dragonite was pushed back about half a metre.

Arms held up in the air, Dragonite had outright caught Aerodactyl clad in the powerful energy of Giga Impact and stopped him in his tracks.

'Insane.' I thought. None of my pokemon could currently even hope to exert such monstrous physical strength.

Not yet.

But totally within my calculations.

The energy around Aerodactyl puttered out almost instantly, and his wide eyed shocked face came into view.

"Hyper Beam!" I didn't order, I demanded of him.

Because one other thing I had learned about Aerodactyl in the scant few hours we've been together since I captured him. Is that he didn't know when to quit when he was ahead.

He was an idiot like that. But even idiocy had its uses.

Aerodactyl's huge jaws snapped open, a huge swirling crackling sphere of pitch black powerful swirling into existence, before promptly being unleashed at point blank range in a wide black beam of devastating power.

A thunderous boom enveloped Dragonite who's arms were pre-occupied with holding Aerodactyl in place as the beam washed over it and drowned out much of the sound, even that of screams and shouts of excitement coming from the spectators.

The hands holding Aerodactyl in place were dislodged with the attack and he happily turned and flew his way over to me and landed in front of me, looking down with a proud preening smug look.

"Not bad," I complimented him, "But if you think it's over from just that, you've learned nothing at all from the beating the others gave you earlier."

And the crowd went wild.

Literally.

And as if to prove my point, the smoke that had obscured Dragonite faded away to reveal Dragonite completely fine and no worse for wear at all, the only sign of Aerodactyl's attack at all, being the huge crater it was standing within.

Aerodactyl's head whipped over his shoulder to stare wide eyed, and a creeping sense horror made its way back into his gaze.

"Not too shabby at all," Lance noted loudly, arms crossed and with an approving nod, "Aerodactyl or not, I wasn't expecting it to be capable of using Giga Impact and then Hyper Beam of all things in quick succession, it has quite the power and stamina already, most gym leader pokemon would be hard pressed to stay standing after an onslaught like that."

My thoughts exactly.

The fact that his Dragonite wasn't even scratched by that though, went to show just how monstrous the gap between a champion and a gym leader was though.

A bit daunting, but I gotta admit, pleasing as well. If a champion was capable of being brought down by something as simple as that, I would have been severely disappointed.

"Now, let's return the favour, eh Dragonite?" Lance grinned at his Dragonite who merely flashed him a thumbs up without turning around.

"Ancient Power, then flamethrower them and set them alight," I decided to nip that in the bud, "Then rush him with Bite, you're bigger, use your weight to your advantage, try and grab it by the neck and slam it into the ground."

Aerodactyl shook his head at my order and his eyes once more lit up with the desire to do harm.

"Aero!" he whirled around massive wings spreading wide, his body lighting up with silver power that then erupted into the form of multiple shining silver spheres that were sent shooting towards Dragonite like bullets, at the same time flames licked within his maw and he spat out a gout of flame that he swept over the silvery rock bullets, lighting them up with blazing embers and turning them into roasting comets of rock and fire power.

"Hurricane." Lance countered simply.

"Droo!" the Dragonite nodded and stepped forward towards the roaring blazing comets of power shooting towards it, leg muscles tensing powerfuly and its head lowering as if facing an incoming storm and then its small, yet incredibly powerful wings began to rapidly beat so fast it sounded like some was smashing a building with a wrecking bell.

An instant later, a massive vertical hurricane of gale force winds tore across the battlefield, sweeping over the combination of Ancient Power and Flamethrower, before slamming into Aerodactyl before he could react.

"AERO!" I heard him roar from within the hurricane winds and saw his wings burst out from the sides of it as he tried to fight his way through.

"Giga Impact, get out of there!" I hurried shouted as loud as I could, in hope he could hear me over the raging gales.

To my relief, purple and gold sparked around the wings jutting out of the Hurricane winds-

Only for Dragonite to jerk and spin to the side as it beat its wings and the huge hurricane swerved, twisting up into the air carrying Aerodactyl all the way, before twisting directions once more and shooting down towards the ground.

Carried by the huge hurricane, Aerodactyl was slammed and ground into the ground of the battlefield with so much force the battlefield cratered inwards for a good thirty feet in diameter and spider web crack spread across the entire field.

Dragonite stopped beatings its wings after a few moments of the hurricane winds grinding Aerodactyl into the ground and the huge powerful winds dispersed to reveal my newly captured Aerodactyl, face down in the dirt and completely out cold.

And the crowd went wild.

Literally.

I clicked my tongue in annoyance and held Aerodactyl's pokeball up, returning him to it. I expected this result to be honest, it's still kind of annoying though to see one of my pokemon go down so easily, even a new one.

Not a single one of my pokemon had ever went down as easy as that, and while Aerodactyl had been thrown around a lot earlier, he was in no way weak. He was still stronger than my Dragonite after all by a decent margin, he'd already proved as much.

Should I say, as expected of a champion?

Well, whatever, I didn't let my annoying show on my face, "So you can control and change the direction of Hurricane, huh? That's interesting to know." I instead said aloud, ignoring the reporters cheering loudly at Lance trouncing me in the opening of the battle, and focused on that.

It definitely was, and I'd be keeping that in mind for when I got around to teaching it to Pidgeot.

"A little something we worked out a while ago, it was tough, but nothing's impossible if you put in enough effort," Lance replied, grinning widely, "The attempt with using Giga Impact to muscle out of it was inspired though. If brute force isn't working, then you're just not using enough, huh? That's a favourite of mine too I do have to admit."

Yeah, just punch the hurricane, that'll totally work.

The sad thing is, in this world, if you got strong enough, that was actually a viable option. Limits and impossibilities were for quitters. As the tiny Pikachu that could make hundreds of feet or more wide craters with a swing of its tiny tail could attest.

And in the spirit of that-

I switched Aerodactyl's pokeball with Dragonite's.

"You're up next try hard." I said as I released him from within the pokeball.

Dragonite appeared in front of me within a burst of light and cracked out his neck, promptly mean mugging his opponent without a second hesitation, even though it was a Dragonite that had multiple feet in size on him and half again his bulk.

"Oh-ho, the Dragonite from the video!" Lance's eyes lit up excitedly, "And you've already got to the point where you're confident sending him out into battle within just a few days after the attitude he displayed?"

Dragonite, my Dragonite merely scoffed at the champions excitement to see him and promptly stuck up his middle claw and flipped the other bigger Dragonite the bird.

The bigger Dragonite gave him a nonplussed look, completely unimpressed by his attitude, where as Lance burst into laughter, "Quite the personality indeed, I've never seen a Dragonite like this one, it's quite novel." he said, "Will I be seeing the other you apparently captured as well during this battle I wonder?"

"That'd be kinda hard considering I don't have that one anymore," I shrugged in reply, "He's already with another trainer at this point."

Lance blinked, "You…traded a Dragonite? One that by the records I seen of it briefly was quite the specimen of the species and very powerful, more powerful than this one at least and had a very extensive range of attacks," he blinked, "Wow, they must have offered quite the option in return."

I smirked, "Nah, I gave her it for free, got nothing in return for it." I promptly replied.

"Eh…?" I relished in the utter shocked look that appeared on Lance's face at my reply.

Mwuahahahaha, not even champions are immune to my shenanigans.

"You gave…a Dragonite away for free? To her?" Lance goggled at him, repeating his words, "A girl, a girlfriend then? Fiance even? Starting young I see, but don't you think that might have been a mistake? A standard Dragonite, if such a thing can even be said, is generally purchased in the range of between five and ten million pokedollars, one such as that, going by its size and move pool, I'd estimate would get at least twenty five million, and you just gave it away to a girl?"

"Lover is more apt I'd say, but I'm still a free guy right now," I shrugged in reply, "Besides, it's a girl I care about, and wanted to make sure she'd have a strong pokemon looking out for her in case anything happened while we were apart. Twenty five million is hardly anything in comparison to that."

The best of it is, I'm not even lying.

I noticed a rippling murmur going through the crowd of reports as they took in my words. And a thought occurred to me, this will probably go viral. Which means, Hilda will probably see this.

Heh, hope she gets embarrassed.

"Twenty five…million!?" I heard the girl, Chloe sputter loudly in shock, "A pokemon can go for that much? And he just gave it away to a girl he likes? Not even a girlfriend?"

"It's so romantic, don't you think Chloe?" Delia tittered.

"…Yeah, seems about right for this kid." Surge snorted, shaking his head, "He's crazy."

"A remarkably mature point, I suppose I understand," Lance chuckled, "Still that other Dragonite is much stronger than this one you have now, wouldn't you have been better keeping it and sending this one to watch over her?"

It wasn't me who replied.

It was Dragonite.

An outraged howling roar tore from his throat as he snarled threateningly at Lance for daring to insulting his strength.

"She wouldn't have been able to handle this guys attitude," I shrugged with a smirk and crossed my arms, mirroring him, "Besides, you said it yourself with enough effort nothing is impossible. And stronger or not, I think this guy has got what it takes to go way higher than the other one I caught, he's just that much hungrier for it. Not to mention, me and this guy? We click way better and he takes to my training way better than that other Dragonite would."

"Hmm…" Lance cocked his head to the side and hummed as he examined the snarling Dragonite, who despite his rage at being belittled, had not moved to attack without my directions, "Well, you've got me there. Now you've got me excited though to see what you're capable of together."

"Well, keep your eyes peeled then." I replied.

"You must be an incredible lay." Rosa commented.

"…Shut the hell up." Hilda, cheeks burning retorted, her face buried in her hands as the idiot revealed their….relationship on live world wide television.

Did he have no sense of shame at all? Or common sense? He was just gonna have people curious about who she was as well now and they would dig into his trainer records and there would be a link from his to hers because of Dragonite previously belonging to him.

"Though, he said it out loud as well, you're not official, you really shoulda put a ring on that cuz," Rosa hummed, "Once we're done here, I'm totally gonna rock that kids world, put a ring on him, make him my shota boytoy husband and get an Aerodactyl baby from him and a Dratini as well, I kinda dig that Dragonite's attitude too after all actually."

Hilda's head whipped up, embarrassment replaced by a glare, "Like hell you are slut." she growled, and pushed the half naked girl off of the chair she was sitting on.

Rosa fell to the ground with a yelp.

And the return again with chapter 36, a bit quicker of a period of time than the last update, huh?

And yes I did finally remember to change the Charmeleon bit in the Pokemon On Hand to Charizard, lol. And with this chapter Jordinio Version finally hit over 200k words on here, 205k now to be specific, I think. Took fucking long enough, huh?

So quite a bit occurred in this chapter. The mc started off his battle with Lance, going strong from the get go with Aerodactyl, hitting out with two of the strongest attacks there is, and doing absolutely nothing and getting bodied easily. Aerodacyl might be a powerful gym leader tier pokemon, akin to one of Giovanni's official gym challenge pokemon and not taking it easy, but while this established Aerodactyl as powerful, this was also to put it up front that a champion is an order of magnitudes above even the strongest gym leader in Kanto. To be exact, there's tiers to strength, even in the Elite Four, and I'll use the Kanto ones as a basis here. Lorelei would absolutely demolish Giovanni in a battle. That's already established in canon, Ash beat Giovanni's official pokemon with Pidgeotto, Squirtle and Bulbasaur, Pidgeotto even fucking one shot his Rhydon with Double Edge, and Charizard was no doubt Ash's strongest pokemon by far at that point with the only one being a possible rival being Pidgeot, but we don't have any real proof of that, either way, Lorelei absolutely curb stomped Charizard with ease and so by scaling, she does the same to Giovanni. But in here, Bruno would do the absolutely same to her, Agatha would do the same to him, the fourth elite four who I've not revealed yet, would do the same to her, and Lance would then do the same to him.

For reference, if I assigned levels, I'd put Aerodactyl right now at around level 50-55. Where as this Dragonite Lance is using, would be over level two hundred. And it's the newest member of his first line squad and the weakest by far. But that's just a scale to make it easier to picture, there isn't actually levels here.

Beyond that, the reporters are actually broadcasting this live, because a champion battling, or even showing up in public spaces is a big thing to go wild over. On top of that, some familiar faces popped up, like Surge, and the introduction more or less of Cerise, Chloe, Oak and Delia. Delia is there because just prior to getting the information about the fossil mon, Oak was just about to head towards Porta Vista with her, just like in canon.

And of course, Hilda and Rosa are watching the confrontation live.

So yeah, quite a bit happened. Look forward to the next bits and if you ever wanna catch my stuff in advance before I post it on here, you can just head on the my Pa-atreon, though there's no need to if you don't want to, the chapters come up here after a while anyway.

Anyway, shameless Pa-atreon plug. I've got one, go by the same username on there, easy to find and all that jazz. Support me if you want, it'd be swell, but don't feel pressured lads and ladies, I'll be uploading my stuff outside it regardless and not keeping it all behind a paywall or anything like that.
