Transplanted from a war-ravaged future to a world of dungeons and deities, the once tyrannical Skeleton, Cat-Lon seeks a purpose beyond his reign of terror, finding an unlikely chance at redemption through the innocent friendship of a boy named Bell Cranel.

The Eds find themselves in a cruel land of sand and violence. Their plan is two-fold: survive, and figure out a way back home.
