Chapter 21: Luke's revenge - part 1

Note: This takes place a week after Addam gave Bob the watch.

I had been mailed a ticket to the new McBain film from Luke, I was nervous about going, but I go, I decided to not let him know about Addam's advances. But I do wear the watch Addam gave me, I just hope he won't see it.

Anyhow, I am driving to Luke's home, and listening to Gilbert and Sullivan on my radio. After ten minutes I arrive, and see Luke wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans with white and green tennis shoes, he also is wearing a gold chain with an 'L' on it. He soon gets into my car, and tells me, "Hello Bob, I'm glad you got my letter. I really like you."

He soon puts his right hand on my left and looks lovingly at me, I feel a bit warmer on the inside, and I pull my hand away, and say nervously while pulling at my collar, "Is..Is it hot in here?" He chuckles, "I see your still nervous, handsome. Here let me calm you down." He leans his head close to mine and his lips are mere inches away from mine, when I stutter out, "Put on your seatbelt."

He sighs and soon sees the watch, and he asks, "I didn't think you were rich, where did you get this nice watch, Bobby?" I become even more nervous, I don't need him to know the truth, but I don't want to lie..so I say, "Um..A friend." He becomes concerned, "Was it Addam Piro?" I sigh, and he tells me, "I'll make him pay!"
