Clark picked up his phone and answered.
"CLARK!!!!!!" Bruce roared into the phone. "You need to get out of your apartment! Evacuate everyone! You are in danger!"
"Bruce! What are you talking about?"
"It's Jason! He's on his way to kill you! He snuck into the Batcave and stole ALL of my Kryptonite! Your life is in danger!"
"What? Why?"
"He found out that you kept me from killing Joker, and has decided to that you are target, not me!"
"Okay, thank you for the heads up Bruce. I will evacuate the building. Then I will try and find Jason and talk him out of this."
"He won't listen to reason Clark! How are you going to fight someone who is willing to cross lines that I choose not to cross?!"
"I'll find a way." Clark said. "Thank you for the warning. I have to go."
Using his super speed he tripped the fire alarm trying to get everyone out.
Changing into Superman, he helped get people out.
"HELP!" Someone shouted from the top floor where there was a fire burning.
Without checking despite Batman's warning Superman jumped into the air and flew to the window to get the person out.
"I'm here!" He called out. "Where are you!?"
"Right here." A voice said before the owner threw kryptonite powder in Clark's general direction, causing him grow weak
"J-Jason?" Clark asked.
"Hey big blue." Jason said before kicking Clark in the face knocking him on his back before taking out a Kryptonite Knife. "I've been waiting for you. You are the reason Joker is alive. If you hadn't interfered then Joker would be dead!"
"Jason." Clark said. "This isn't right. I know you're angry but..."
"ANGRY!!!" Jason yelled kicking Clark in the ribs. "YOU THINK I'M ANGRY!?! I'm furious!"
Outside
Bruce drove the Batmobile to Clark's apartment, seeing smoke coming out of one window, and hoped that he wasn't too late. He saw the people standing outside and ejected from the Batmobile before gliding to the room the smoke was coming out of.
He slid through and kicked the Red Hood into the wall. "JASON DON'T!" He shouted. "Don't do this!"
"Well, well, well." Jason said. "I'm glad to see you old man. Did you come to help me right the wrongs that he's done?" He asked pointing at Clark.
"No! I shouldn't have tried killing Joker to begin with! I was wrong! I was angry and bitter that he took you from me and I wanted to kill him. I wished that I could go back to the day that you said that you would hang up the cape and just be my son. I would take it then and now. I'm sorry Jason! I'm so sorry for not being what you needed."
Jason looked at Bruce and thought about that. Opening his arms Bruce walked over to embrace is wayward son.
Jason thrust his chest forward shocking Bruce with his chest taser. "Now that that's out of the way, let's get to work."
"Jason!" Superman shouted. "Jason don't do this! He's your father!"
"Father's are supposed to protect their children." Jason said menacingly. "Where was he when Joker was torturing me? Where was he when Joker KILLED me!?"
"He tried!" Superman said. "He tried to save you! He tried to kill Joker when you died!"
"AND YOU STOPPED HIM!!!!" Jason curb stomped Clark in the stomach before dropping and pulling out Kryptonite brass knuckles. "I'm going to enjoy this."
"Little Wing Don't!" Dick shouted, flipping through the window.
"Why don't we make it a family reunion?" Jason asked getting off of Clark. "Do I need to drop you too Dick, or are you going to let me do what needs to be done?"
"You don't need to kill Superman. Little Wing. I know that you were hurt, I know that it's not fair, but don't do this. Please. I'm asking you as your brother. Please, don't kill Superman."
"Someone has to pay!"
"I know. I know they do, but Superman is not the person who needs to pay."
"Then. Tell. Me. WHO!?!"
"You're the one who ran away to find your mom. You're the one who ran after the Joker after Bruce told you not to. You're the one who covered the bomb with your body to the saving your mom. If anyone needs to pay..." Dick began crying. "It's you. It's you Little Wing. You're the one who needs to pay, and you already did. You paid with your life. Don't do this. You've already suffered enough. Please, just come home."
Jason stumbled as if he'd been struck. He fell to his knees and grabbed his helmet. "AAAHHHH!!!!!" He shouted as he grabbed his head and pulled the mask off revealing the scars and the blind eye. "AAAHHHH!!!!!" He shouted again.
Dick ran over and hugged Jason. "It's okay Little Wing. It's okay. I'm here. No one is going to hurt you again. No one."
Superman crawled away into the hallway to get away from the Kryptonite so he could do something.
Using his Super Breath to blow the Kryptonite away he picked up Dick, Jason, and Bruce and flew them outside before placing them on the ground.
The Paramedics ran up and began working on Jason and Batman.
"I'm sorry." Superman said to Dick.
"Don't worry. We will get Jason some help and he will get better so long as he wants to."
"Hopefully he can." Superman said, standing silent vigilance over his friends.
