The crowbar came down and struck him. It hurt, but not like the first ten times. The pain was beginning to dull, not by much though. The crowbar struck again. It was as if the madman was reading his thoughts and began hitting him harder.
Then the Joker hit him in the face. "WOW. That looked like it really hurt." Then the Joker hit him three more times and savored every hit like it was a cheese sample. "Whoa, now hold on. That looked like it hurt a lot more. So, let's try and clear it up shall we pumpkin. What hurts more? A?" The Joker hit him again. "Or B?" And he was hit a second time by the Joker. "Forehand?" The Joker hit him a third time. "Or backhand." The Joker hit him again and began laughing his sadistic laugh.
Jason murmured something. The Joker leaned down and said. "A little louder lamb chop. I think that one of your lungs is collapsed. That tends to always impede the oratory." Jason spit blood up at the Joker. The Joker returned the favor by slamming his face into the floor. "Now that was rude. The first boy blunder had manners." Jason smiled even though it hurt. The Joker wiped the blood off of his face. "I suppose that I'll have to teach you some manners. So that you can learn to follow in his footsteps better." The Joker contemplated that for a bit. Then said. "Nah... I think that I'll just keep hitting you with this crowbar."
The Joker raised the Crowbar ready to hit Jason with it. He swung down and Jason closed his eyes waiting for the pain to come, but the pain never did.
"Huh?" Joker asked when he saw that he. I longer had the Crowbar. "What happened?"
"I happened." A dem Anime voice said. "You May Call me Calvina Montgomerie, or Flara Montgomerie, either way you're a dead man. For too long we have watched this boy's torture only to make another world better, but we have put the responsibility of an entire world on his shoulders. Not this child's. This child gets out, and it starts with me killing you."
Jason pushed himself up but the woman knelt down, and held her hand, gently, to his face. "Sleep. When this is over you will not remember any of what has transpired. You will be home, safe, and this man will not haunt your dreams.
Jason was wrapped in warm green and white light and quickly fell asleep, hoping the lady was telling the truth.
Montgomerie turned to face the Joker. Snarling, she pulled out a pair of brass knuckles and put them on before swinging at the Joker hard enough to send him flying into a support beam.
"Ooh. You're fun." The Joker laughed. "Do you have another one in ya?"
"For you?" Montgomerie asked. "Always."
Bruce flew up the side of the mountain following Jason's tracker he needed to get Jason before it was too late, he drove up to the warehouse and tossed the batcycle at the door, knocking it off its hinges and ran in.
Joker lay on the floor, beaten and battered. It looked as though every bone in his body had been broken and he was barely alive.
Looking around Bruce saw blood, but no Jason.
Turning around to leave, to find Jason, he wasn't expecting the warehouse to blow up.
Montgomerie watched as the Warehouse blew up with Batman and Joker inside. She stroked Jason's hair while he slept with his head in her lap. "Don't worry." She cooed. "No one will ever hurt you again. You can count on it."
Over the next several years Montgomerie raised Jason all over the world, making sure that he wanted for nothing, and teaching him right from wrong.
Jason loved Montgomerie, but he couldn't remember anything before she found him in Istanbul that night.
"Trauma can do that." She'd told him. "Don't try and force yourself to remember. If you're supposed to remember, you will."
Montgomerie made sure that any memories of his time on the streets or with Bruce were erased from his memories so he couldn't remember them. All he knew was that he'd run away from Ma Gunn's and ended up in Istanbul where she'd found him. She wouldn't let him remember anything else.
She watched Jason grow into a young adult and a man. She'd trained him in various martial arts and weapons, and armed him with a strong sense of Justice of right and wrong.
While Walking one day they were approached by a man named Montgomery.
"I can't believe you did that Calvina." The man said. "You know how important he is.
"Fuck you Calvin! He was just a boy! I wasn't going to let him die by the hands of that monster! We are the real Monsters for not stepping in to stop it! We have all this power and we watch him die over and over! That is so fucked up!"
"He was going to a place where he would have been loved."
"At what cost!"
"Everything is for the greater good!"
"Greater good my ass!"
"HE WON'T BRING HIM BACK!" The other Montgomery yelled.
Montgomerie began crying and Jason kicked the other Montgomery with enough strength to send him flying into a building a send it crashing down on him.
Montgomery walked out of the collapsed building with a look of Horror on his face. "Please tell me you didn't teach him how to use our power."
"I did." Montgomerie said. "He deserved to be able to protect himself."
Montgomery pulled out a scanner that looked like it belonged to the Dragon Ball Z Universe. Looking at Jason he saw that Jason's power was at .60% and rising.
"What have you done?" He asked.
.70%
"I gave him a happy life with no hardships. He was happy."
.80%
"You don't understand. You've doomed us all." Montgomery grabbed Montgomerie and threw her through a portal. He didn't have long. If he could send Jason back to that night. He could save two worlds, but if not..."
.90%
He grabbed Jason who grabbed him by the neck and snapped it with just one hand. The last thing Montgomery saw was Jason's power.

Montgomerie watched as two worlds exploded. She slammed her hand against the window of her cell. "JASON!!!" She shouted, pure agony in that one word as she felt her heart break. The boy she'd raised was gone.
With that, she closed her eyes, never to open them again.
Two burning white eyes appeared out of the explosion, and Jason appeared inside Montgomerie's cell. He dropped to his knees and shook her. "Mom." He said. "Mom!" He shook her shoulder harder.
Picking her up he held her while he sobbed. "MOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!" He shouted into the universe.
Touching his head to hers, information filled his head about who he was and what he was supposed to be and the world he was supposed to go to after his death at the hands of the joker.
He saw himself fighting alongside magical girls. He saw himself falling in love with one of them, the leader was actually a princess. He decided that he would go to this world, bury his mom there, and retire on this world. There was only one problem. The world was dead.

Jason rewound time to make sure that the worlds hadn't exploded and modified the worlds so they could withstand his power, up to 500%.
Creating a portal, he moved to the new world, buried his mom, and lived out his life as a hermit. He was too old and too powerful to be with the girl named Ami Mizuno, so he would stay in this universe until it died, and that would be that.
Fate would not let him go so easily.
One day while shopping, he ran into a girl with dark blue hair and eyes that burned like stars. He was immediately smitten.
"Hello." She said. "I'm sorry for running into you."
"My fault." He replied.
"My name is Mizuno Ami."
"Jason Montgomerie."
And like That, the Universe was brought back on track.

In the center of the universe:
An elderly Montgomery watched as his Origin story neared completion. Soon he would die, and his younger version would take his place, and so the cycle would continue for all time an eternity. Looking to the sky he looked into the darkness. "Don't worry mom. I'll be back soon." He whispered.
