With the arcade being closed for the weekend, Vanellope and Rancis were spending some time together. However, a simple action changed their casual hang-out into something unexpected for the former princess.

Litwak's Arcade has grown bigger, accommodating new games and even Indoor Amusement Park attractions like a Roller Coaster and a Ferris Wheel. Today's story is about a young boy named Arthur who, after losing a friend, found himself as an upcoming star in Sugar Rush, one of Litwak's Arcade's popular racing games, and he will form friends and rivals along the way.

Ralph finds romance; actually, it kinda finds him. But he is ready. (Note: this story is rather tame; fairly Victorian in its restraint. Certainly nothing prurient. The focus is always on emotions.)

A couple of nights after the events of "A Still, Small Voice" (q.v.), Ralph lets Vanellope in on the news about his first-ever romance.

I was studying Italian and beginning to sing opera at the same time I fell under the spell of WIR. So, *of course* I wrote up WIR as if it were a grand Italian opera. (As Vanellope would remark, "A-doi!") I even wrote words for Vanellope's return as princess, which I'll post as "chapter 2" of this.

Not long after I began obsessing on WIR 8 years ago I began writing an "epic poem" retelling WIR in sorta mock-Shakespearean/flowery 18th-19th century language, in (mostly) unrhymed tetrameter (I tried pentameter, believe me), and a month later, it was done. Given the timelessness of stories, it was interesting to think about how a minstrel from long ago might have sung of WIR.

The sequence between Ralph breaking Vanellope out of the fungeon and them getting to the starting line, reimagined. I understand why the filmmakers wrote that scene as they did, for time, flow, and the film's overall style; but I wanted to write a fic in which they got to really communicate, and in which the caring that underlay his wrecking the kart is acknowledged.

A spin-off of Life Online by Agent BM: Sophie the daughter of Honey and Zeke has been living happily in Litwak City now that peace has been restored, but when you live on the Internet life everyday is an adventure.

A 'novelization', with internal monologues, of the pivotal sequence from Ralph carrying Vanellope up the rainbow bridge, to her saving him from his fall in Diet Cola Mountain.

The unnamed narrator falls asleep one night and wakes up...in Sugar Rush. Encountering Vanellope, the two of them have a searching talk about the nature of reality and the nature of fiction. (A bit like Abbott's "Flatland"...)

What goes down in Niceland the night after Ralph and Felix return from Sugar Rush. (Director Cameron Laventure once commented that they felt that Felix had read the riot act to the Nicelanders about everyone's treatment of Ralph after the arcade closed, and that this was the beginning of the changes. I liked this idea and made it a fic.)

A sad AU in which when Sugar Rush resets, *everything* is reset—including Vanellope's memories. (I swear I wrote this before seeing WALL-E !)
