Chapter 6: Blue sibling reunion

Thomas and Jasmine were just staring at Blu with open mouths. Everyone around them was muttering to themselves for how two complete strangers could have known about the bird who defended the tribe against the loggers.

"Who are these two and how do they know dad? Do you have any idea, mom?" Bia asked Jewel.

"I haven't the faintest idea, Bia, but I am also wondering why that Thomas guy looks a lot like your father, except more muscular." Jewel replied.

Blu was still very confused about the whole situation. Who were these two birds?

Then, something struck him, Thomas looked almost exactly like him.

"Do I know you people? Because you, Mr. Thomas look a lot like me."

"But, but of course, Blu, don't you remember your days as a chick anymore in Rio de Janeiro?"

Blu was dumbfounded. How did they know about his childhood and was this really in Rio the Janeiro that he lived at before was found by Linda?

"How do you know parts of my childhood?" Blu asked.

"Don't you remember, Blu? Our parents? The day we lost you?"

'Our parents?' 'The day we lost you?' Blu thought to himself.

Suddenly he looked forward and remembered it all. It all came back to him. He saw it in the dream he had this night.

It was a day like none other. His father, mother and two siblings were off to gather some food, whilst Blu was still in his nest, sleeping. He only looked for a short moment to see where his parents and siblings would go to.

After that he heard many birds singing and dancing and decided to dance along. Suddenly, many birds screamed and were captured in nets and cages. Then, he fell out of his hollow onto the ground. At first there was complete silence, but then a 'boom' and he himself was caught in a cage. In the end, when he was being dragged away in a cage, he could hear in the distance "Blu! Blu! Blu!" It was the screams of his parents and siblings.

The world suddenly came back to Blu's current vision in the Amazon and looked at Jasmine and Thomas, his two older siblings.

"Do you remember now?" Jasmine asked with a saddened face.

Blu: "Y-yes, there were so many birds singing and dancing…"

Thomas: "But then it turned into screeching and screaming and when we came back to our hollow, you were…"

Blu: "Gone…"

Jasmine: "We looked all of Rio for you…"

Blu (saddening up): "I-, I am here…"

Blu ran to Thomas and Jasmine, hugged them with tears in his eyes and said: "Big brother, big sister."

All the birds around them gasped.

"B-Brother, s-sister?" Jewel said Jewel shocked.

Blu cried in the wings of his brother and sister.

"We never thought that we'd see you again, little brother." Thomas said with a heavy heart.

After about half a minute, Blu let his siblings go as they stared each other with a smile.

"Look at this." Jasmine said, "It's our little brother. All grown up. You look almost exactly like our dad, except the eyes of course, they're our mother's."

"I couldn't have imagined of you being all alone all this time." Jasmine sad in a sad tone.

"Don't worry, Jasmine, I wasn't alone at all. Some years ago, I met Jewel." Blu said while presenting his wife.

Jewel stepped forward to Blu's siblings, who were waiting with big smiles on their faces, since they couldn't believe they not only found their brother, but also now had a sister-in-law.

As jewel stood before Blu's siblings, she was unexpectedly and instantly hugged by Jasmine, who said: "Thank you so much, Jewel, for making sure our brother was not alone."

Jewel's surprised face instantly turned into a smile as she said: "You're welcome, Jasmine. It is a great honor to have your younger brother as a mate."

Jasmine chuckled at that and let her sister-in-law go. Then it was Thomas' turn to hug Jewel as thanks for treating his younger brother well. Jewel complimented that Blu looks almost exactly like Blu, except that their eyes weren't the same.

"Mom? Dad? Are you both alright?" Carla asked.

Suddenly, Jasmine's and Thomas' eyes widened again, and they both said together: "Dad?"

They both looked at their younger brother. Thomas was the first to speak. "I-, I am an uncle?" Blu and Jewel nodded at this.

"And I am an aunt?" Jasmine asked with a gasp.

Thomas his facial expression turned to one of overhappiness. "How can this be, we're an uncle and aunt!" Thomas exclaimed joyfully.

"Thomas, Jasmine, this is Carla, Bia and Tiago." Jewel said whilst showing her 3 children.

"It's nice to meet you, sir and ma'am." Bia said politely.

"Sir? Ma'am?" Thomas said amusingly. "There ain't no 'sir' or 'ma'am' here for you, children. You can just call me 'Uncle Tommy'."

"And to me it's 'Auntie Jassie'." Jasmine said happily.

"Uncle Tommy and Auntie Jassie, yeah, I like that." Tiago said, with his sisters nodding that they agree on that fact.

Before Thomas and Jasmine knew it, the kids jumped into their wings and played with them similar how they played with Eduardo the first time they met him.

Eduardo then stepped in and stood next to his daughter.

"This is such an amazing day." Eduardo announced happily. "First Blu returns with my long-lost wife, and now the leader of our neighboring scarlet macaw tribe gives my son-in-law his long-lost siblings."

"Well, Eddie, I thought that Thomas here looked familiar in some ways, so I thought to check if there was any connection with Blu." Felipe said. "Anyways, me and the boys here are going back to our side. Enjoy this moment at your fullest, Eddie."

"Oh, we all will." Eduardo ensured.

"Alright, then. See ya next time, Eddie!" And with that, Felipe, Mario and Cesar took off. The only green-winged macaw still present, was Miguel, who, alongside Renaldo and Skye, enjoyed watching their love interests have fun with their new uncle and aunt.

Then Mimi stepped in. "Alright, everyone. Enough tears have been shed this day. And can we stop chatting also and start partying?"

With that, Mimi took a twig and began to twang it.

Sapphire gasped. "Oh, my goodness! I remember this song!"

"Forgetting this song is impossible for us, Sapphire. It's in our blood. It's who we are. Come on everyone, let's begin!" Eduardo exclaimed as he and his wife took off.

And with that, the song Beautiful Creatures is once again being song.
