The air shimmered with an unnatural glow, space itself bending and twisting under an unseen force. In a forgotten, desolate stretch of land outside Brockton Bay—far from prying eyes and unwelcome interruptions—Taylor Hebert stood at the epicenter of reality's unraveling.
Her body pulsed with energy as she willed the transformation to begin.
A brilliant, prismatic light engulfed her form, her human shape dissolving as something far greater took its place. A towering, draconic entity emerged, its pearlescent armor gleaming under the moonlight. Spacetime rippled outward, the very air vibrating with a deep, cosmic hum.
Palkia had arrived.
Taylor—now a Legendary Pokémon in truth, if only for a time—felt the universe in her grasp. She focused, the knowledge of her power flowing through her mind like an innate instinct. One clawed hand rose, and with a single motion, she tore open reality itself.
Before her, a great rift expanded, the edges warping as if the world were struggling to comprehend what had just occurred. The other side was not Earth Bet. It was another world entirely—her world.
The Pokémon world.
A forested landscape stretched out before her, vast and untouched by the decay of Brockton Bay. A place where creatures of myth and legend roamed freely, where the air itself felt alive with energy unlike anything Earth Bet could offer.
For a long moment, Taylor simply stood there, gazing at the world she had never seen but had always known.
Then, with a slow breath, she stepped back, allowing herself to return to her human form. The power of Palkia receded, and once again, she was just Taylor Hebert—albeit one who had just ripped open a portal between worlds.
The rift remained. It would hold for now, bound by the will of a Legendary, but it would not stay forever.
Satisfied, Taylor turned away and began walking, her path uncertain but her purpose clear.
She wandered for what felt like hours, the untouched wilderness of Hisui—or rather, ancient Sinnoh—stretching around her in all directions. The Pokémon world was not as she had imagined. It was beautiful, wild, dangerous, so unlike the modern regions she had studied.
Then, at the crest of a hill, she saw her.
A girl with raven-black hair, dressed in strange yet familiar garments, carrying a satchel at her side. She moved with cautious purpose, her golden eyes sharp with recognition the moment they landed on Taylor.
Akari.
The heroine of ancient Sinnoh. The girl who had stood against time, space, and even forces beyond human understanding.
Taylor hesitated for a fraction of a second before stepping forward.
Akari mirrored her movement, curiosity in her gaze.
The two stood in silence for a moment, the wind rustling the trees, the distant cries of Pokémon filling the air.
Then, Taylor spoke, her voice calm yet firm.
"You and I have much to discuss."

Reddit Thread: "Uh… So This Happened?"Posted by u/TotallyNotANewLegend – 3 hours ago
Hey, so… this is going to sound completely insane, but I found this video on my phone. I don't remember recording it. I don't even know who could have recorded it, but it's me.
In the video, I'm at the Boat Graveyard. There's a storm, and then… well.
Arceus shows up. Like, actual, literal Arceus. The god of Pokémon.
He talks to me—telepathically—and then suddenly I start glowing and… transforming?
I don't know how to explain it. I turn into this huge, glowing skeletal dragon thing (edit: apparently it's called Eternamax Eternatus?), and I just vaporize the entire Boat Graveyard with a massive space-laser beam. Except instead of it being a smoking crater, the place looks... clean. Like, restored.
And then I just turn back into a human, like it's no big deal.
I don't remember any of this happening. But the evidence is right there.
The Boat Graveyard is gone. Not destroyed—gone. If anyone from Brockton Bay goes there right now, you'll see it yourself. Hell, there are already news reports talking about it!
So… yeah. WTF do I do with this information?

OP you might be the first real-life Pokémon Trainer.

Forget being a trainer, she just got Isekai protagonist powers in the real world. OP can literally become ANY Pokémon. That's some Arceus-tier favoritism right there.

OKAY SO I LIVE NEAR THE BOAT GRAVEYARD AND I WENT TO CHECK.
OP ISN'T LYING. THE PLACE IS… JUST GONE. No rusted boats, no wreckage, just flat, untouched land like nothing was ever there.
WTF OP.

POV: You get bullied so hard that Arceus personally descends from the heavens to give you god-tier shapeshifting powers.

If this is real (and based on the news reports… holy crap, it might be?), then we need to ask:
Why did Arceus pick OP?
What else can OP transform into?
Are the Endbringers even a threat to her now?

We have actual proof of a literal god descending to our world, and everyone's first reaction is to ask if OP can 1v1 an Endbringer.
…Okay but real talk, can she?

Okay, I did not expect this post to blow up. Uh, some updates:
I just went back to the Boat Graveyard again to make sure I wasn't hallucinating or something. It's still perfectly clean.
My phone won't delete the video. I tried. It won't let me.
I still don't remember any of this happening. But I feel it. Like the knowledge is… buried in me.
Also, someone asked if I can transform into other Pokémon. I don't know. But.
…I think I'm going to try.

BREAKING: Local authorities are investigating the mysterious disappearance of the Boat Graveyard. Scientists baffled by the pristine land left behind. Some speculate a natural phenomenon, but eyewitnesses report anomalous activity before the event.
OP, we need to talk.
