Esmeralda feels terribly guilty that Frollo targets her people in order to find her so she visits Frollo with a very tempting offer, her body in exchange for their freedom. She had calculated everything except the fact that the stern judge would refuse what she was willing to give.

Paris is preparing to welcome the pope, and Quasimodo has been charged with the safekeeping of a new bell to be dedicated to the pope. Meanwhile, an old enemy of Clopin's returns to Paris to seek revenge, and a girl in his possession stumbles into Quasi's life, giving him the opportunity to be her knight in shining armor.

Post movie events, Notre Dame seeks to put itself back together, but resentment still broods toward the gypsies, and once a mysterious sickness apparently sent as divine punishment takes hold of the masses, it is quick to flare up. Can anyone get to the bottom of this strange blight, or is Notre Dame in danger of tearing itself apart? Rated T for mild swears and one gruesome death.

In this alternate universe, inspired by the Disney version of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" as well as elements from the book, musical, and movie adaptations, Claude Frollo, the cruel and judgmental ecclesiastical judge, is transformed into a vampire after killing Quasimodo's mother. Set in modern day, this story follows the events of teenage Quasimodo, a foster child, as he tries to adjust to and navigate through his new life at a children's home, run by the menacing Claude Frollo.

Yet another prompt! "Write a ficlet with the word Defenestrate". Naturally, I had to write about one of the best villains and how he fell to his death. How must that have looked to the people of Paris? There's little chance they could have seen what was happening, with the smoke, and the height. So surely there had to be some rumors. Even if it wasn't technically defenestration.
