Hey everyone. Chipsandfish2 here with another chapter of Multiverse of Movies.
I feel like I had something important to say, but I forgot what it was. So let's just get right into the story.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the movies or characters, just the OC.
Chapter 7: HTTYD Scene 6
[Scene cuts to the Arena]
[A Gronckle hovers above the ring, hunting victims as the teen recruits scramble. Astrid ducks behind a barrier to find Hiccup already there. She forces her axe at his throat.]
Astrid: Stay out of my way! I'm winning this thing.
Hiccup: Good. Please, by all means.
Viking: You got it, Astrid!
[Hiccup stands and looks around. Amidst the crowd of onlookers, Stoick watches keenly, beaming with pride. He locks eyes with Hiccup, giving him a nod of encouragement. Hiccup adjusts his new helmet and forces a half-hearted smile. The Gronckle spots him and makes a bee- line toward him.]
Astrid: This time! This time, for sure! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!
[Astrid sees the Gronckle on the ground, Hiccup standing beside it.]
Astrid (cont.): NO! NO! SON OF HALF-TROLL, RAT-EATING MUNGE BUCKET!
The viking parents covered their children's ears at the swearing.
"Wait, that's how you guys swear?" GoGo asked, her hand over her mouth to cover up her snickering.
"I think she actually meant to say-" Ruffnut started to say, only for Ryalogia to stop her.
"Might I remind you there are children watching this? They don't need to learn actual swear words until they're much older."
Stoick: Wait! Wait!
Hiccup: So, later.
Gobber: Not so fast!
Hiccup: I'm kinda late for-
Astrid: What?! Late for what, exactly?!
"Just off to fly my fire breathing dragon and probably fall from hundreds of feet in the air. You know, the usual." Hiccup said.
Astrid punched his arm. She wouldn't admit it, but she was still a little shaken from witnessing that scene.
Stoick: Okay, quiet down. The Elder has decided.
Gobber: You've done it! You've done it, Hiccup! You get to kill the dragon!
Stoick: Ha, ha! That's my boy!
Hiccup: (Sarcastically) Heh. Oh, yeah! Yes! I can't wait. I am so...
[Scene cuts to the cove]
Hiccup: ...LEAVING! We're leaving. Let's pack up. Looks like you and me are taking a little vacation, forever.
Stoick spat out his drink upon hearing that.
"YOU WERE GOING TO RUN AWAY!" He shouted.
Hiccup winced, not at his father's shock but the fact that he was right next to him and that shout was right in his ear.
"Yeah, I really didn't want to kill the Nightmare and everyone in the village is known for their stubbornness, so I felt like it was the only option." Hiccup confessed.
"And where would you have gone?" Hiro asked.
Hiccup pondered for a moment. "I don't know. I never really thought about it."
Everyone heard chuckling from Ryalogia.
"Believe it or not, there are numerous alternate realities in which Hiccup does leave Berk and ends up in the places where the other movies take place."
Everyone's eyes widened. "Are you serious?" Mirabel asked.
Ryalogia nodded. "In some, he arrives in Arendelle, others in Rosas, there's even a couple where he and Toothless get trapped in ice and gets released in the far future in San Fransokyo at the time of Big Hero 6."
Everyone's jaws were inches from the floor.
"How do you know all of this?" North asked.
Ryalogia chuckled again. "I'm the ruler of the multiverse, remember?" There's an infinite amount of different scenarios, each one changes and creates more with just one different decision from an individual."
"Wow." Olaf said.
"But enough of that, on with the movie." Ryalogia said.
[He hears a noise and looks up to see Astrid sitting on a rock, sharpening her axe with a rock.]
"Busted." Hiro, Tadashi, Eugene, Anna, Maui, Peach, and Valentino said in unison.
Hiccup: Ah, man... Aggh! What the- What are you doing here?
Astrid: I want to know what's going on. No one just gets as good as you do. Especially you. Start talking! Are you training with someone?
Hiccup: Uh... training?
Astrid: It better not involve this!
[She grabs his harness.]
Hiccup: I know this looks really bad, but you see...this is, uh...
[Astrid hears a noise and starts moving towards it. Hiccup tries to stop her.]
"How well did she take the truth exactly." Asha asked, a bit worried for Toothless' safety.
"You're about to find out." Astrid said as she winced, remembering this scene.
Hiccup: You're right! You're right! You're right. I'm through with the lies. I've been making... outfits. So, you got me. It's time everyone knew. Drag me back. Go ahead. Here we go.
(Astrid bends his arm backward, making an audible cracking noise, forcing him to the ground.)
Everyone in the audience winced.
"What the hell?!" Jack said as he looked at Astrid.
Astrid looked down in shame and embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Hiccup rubbed his arm, a slight tingling sensation still there from cracking.
Hiccup (cont.): OW! Why would you DO that?!
Astrid: That's for the lies. (Astrid drops her axe handle on his gut) And THAT'S for everything else.
"Geez, you do not mess around, do you?" Jacob asked.
Astrid looked down in shame as Hiccup held her hand.
"It's okay." He said. "I forgive you."
Hiccup: (In pain) Oh, man. [Toothless comes from behind a rock, growling]
Astrid: Get down! RUN! RUN!
[Toothless leaps at them, but Hiccup gets between him and Astrid while sliding the axe away.]
Hiccup: NO! No. It's okay! It's okay... she's a friend. It's okay. You just scared him.
Astrid: I scared him?! Who is "him"?
Hiccup: Astrid, Toothless. Toothless, Astrid.
[Toothless snarls at her. Astrid runs away, back towards the village.]
Hiccup: Da, da-da! We're dead!
(Toothless leaves)
"And he just starts walking away like it's no big deal." Eugene sarcastically remarked.
Hiccup (cont.): Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Where do you think you're going?!
(Astrid's running through the forest, Toothless suddenly swoops down and picks her up)
Astrid: AH! Oh, Great Odin's ghost! Oh, this is it!
(Toothless deposits her in a pine tree)
Wasabi covered his eyes as GoGo rolled hers.
"Woman up." She said while punching his arm.
Astrid (cont.): Hiccup, get me down from here!
Hiccup: You have to give me a chance to explain.
Astrid: I am not listening to ANYTHING you have to say!
Hiccup: Then I won't speak. Just let me show you. Please, Astrid.
Astrid: Now, get me down.
Hiccup: Toothless, down. Gently. See? Nothing to be afraid of.
[The look on Toothless' face clearly says something else.]
"I got a bad feeling about this." Merida said.
Hiccup and Astrid glared at Toothless who just looked at the screen with a smug expression.
[Toothless blasts off the tree, Astrid almost sliding off his back.]
Hiccup (cont.): WHOA! TOOTHLESS! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! BAD DRAGON! He's not usually like this. Oh, no…
"Looks like the dragon wanted to teach her a lesson." Bunny smirked.
Hiccup chuckled as he scratched Toothless' head, much to the dragon's delight.
Hiccup: Toothless, what are you doing?! We need her to like us. [Toothless started spinning] And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile.
"How are you so calm in that situation?" Ruby asked. "Shouldn't you have been screaming like Astrid?"
"Remember, I had a near death experience from falling hundreds of feet in the air. This is nothing compared to that." Hiccup said.
Astrid: Okay! I am sorry! I'm sorry! Just get me off of this thing!
[Toothless slows down and glides above the clouds slowly.]
"Woah." Many people said. It was quite a site to behold.
"I love this music." Moana said.
"I agree." Rapunzel nodded. "It's so romantic."
Hiccup and Astrid looked at each other and blushed. Looking back, it was pretty romantic.
[The scene changed to nighttime, with the Northern Lights illuminating the night sky.]
"Wow." Maisie said, mesmerized by the lights. Jacob chuckled in agreement.
Bunny nudged North. "Is that your doing buddy."
North just chuckled as they continued watching.
Astrid (cont.): Alright, I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... amazing. He's amazing. So what now? Hiccup, your final exam is tomorrow. You know you're going to have to kill a... (Whispers to Hiccup so Toothless doesn't hear) kill a dragon.
"Aw, she didn't want to upset Toothless." Anna said
Hiccup: Don't remind me.
[Toothless suddenly dives down into the fog, seemingly drawn to something.]
Hiccup (cont.): Toothless, what's happening? Whoa, what is it?
[Suddenly a Monstrous Nightmare appears, forcing them to move out of the way.]
Hiccup (cont.): (whisper) Get down!
[They try moving away, only for a Nadder to appear from the left. They find themselves in the middle of a flock of dragons. They are carrying food en masse.]
"That's a lot of dragons." Hiro said. Tadashi nodded in agreement.
"Where are they all going?" Elsa asked.
Astrid: What's going on?
Hiccup: I don't know. Toothless. You've got to get us out of here, bud.
[Toothless ignores them.]
"It's almost as if they're being drawn in by something." Mario said.
Astrid and Hiccup looked at each other, remembering the horror they witnessed.
Hiccup (cont.): It looks like they're hauling in their kill.
Astrid: Uh, what does that make us?
[They approach the Dragon's Nest in a Volcano. Swarms of dragons throw their offerings into the lava below.]
The vikings all gulped.
"Hiccup, is that…" Mirabel started.
Hiccup nodded. "The dragons nest."
"Where's all that food going?" Peach asked.
Hiccup: What my dad wouldn't give to find this.
[They land on a pillar and watched the scene before them.]
Hiccup: (Sarcastically) It's satisfying to know that all of our food has been dumped down a hole.
Astrid: They're not eating any of it.
[A Gronckle delivers only a single tiny fish. A roar is heard from below.]
"What was that?" Moana asked.
[The Gronckle tries to fly away, but a colossal dragon emerges from the lava pit and eats the Gronckle alive. All the other dragons cower in terror before the giant creature.]
Everyone's eyes widened at the site of such a massive dragon.
Jacob and Maisie's mouths were agape. Even Red wasn't that big.
Fishlegs covered Meatlug's eyes as she whimpered.
Mario and the gang thought it was a massive mutated version of Bowser.
Astrid: What... is that?
Hiccup: Alright, buddy, we gotta get out of here. Now!
[The trio fly out of the way just in time as the Red Death just narrowly misses the. Toothless escapes and all the dragons flee. The Red Death lunges at Toothless but grabs a Zippleback instead. Toothless and his riders fly off to a beach and land.]
Astrid: No, it totally makes sense. It's like a giant beehive. They're the workers, and that's their queen. It controls them. Let's find your Dad.
"So the massive dragon is forcing the smaller ones to raid villages and bring back food?" Eugene asked.
Hiccup nodded. "Yes. And we saw what happens when the dragons don't meet their quota."
Hiccup: No, no! Not yet. They'll... kill Toothless. Astrid, we have to think this through carefully.
Astrid: Hiccup, we just discovered the Dragons' Nest. The thing we've been after since Vikings first sailed here. And you want to keep it a secret?! To protect your pet dragon?! Are you serious?!
Hiccup: Yes.
[Astrid is surprised, she has never seen him this serious before.]
Astrid: Okay. Then what do we do?
Hiccup: Just give me until tomorrow. I'll figure something out.
Astrid: Okay. (Astrid punches him) That's for kidnapping me. (Astrid kisses him) That's for... everything else.
A series of "ooohhh"'s echoed throughout the room. Hiccup and Astrid blushed in embarrassment.
Stoick chuckled, already having approved of the relationship.
Snotlout was fuming that Hiccup got a kiss from Astrid instead of him.
"Hiccup and Astrid sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Jack sang.
Astrid socked him in the shoulder to shut him up.
[Astrid runs back to the village and Toothless walks up to Hiccup and looks at him quizzingly.]
Hiccup: What are you looking at?
And that's a wrap!
Summer vacation is finally here and that means it is time to hit the beach, have a barbeque, a pool party, etc.

Answer: They'll only be reacting to HTTYD 1 and 2. No HTTYD 3.
