Nick looked at his tablet before looking at the audience. "Right, so the sea shanty one wasn't supposed to be there."
Annabeth asked "What do you mean?"
"Well the one I'm about to show you was supposed to be the last one, but it was corrupted, so I had to reset it. Now that it's fixed, we can finally get started." Nick answered.
"What's this one about?" Hazel asked as she got a bowl of popcorn on her lap.
"Well..." Nick scratched his head "I think it's best if you watch it before we talk about it."
Everyone shifted in their seats while Thalia managed to get a bean bag chair to sit next to Annabeth and Percy.
The scene begins with elevator doors opening, revealing Percy in a grey hoodie and jeans. The hoodie was damp, showing that it was wet, while Percy had bags under his eyes, showing a lack of sleep.
"Jeez man, you've looked better." Jason commented, making Piper smack his arm.
"Hey, be nice, Jason." Piper said to him, making the Son of Jupiter lower his head. "Sorry."
Percy walked out of the elevator and into the hallway of a building only to see a SWAT team aiming their firearms at him. Lasers pointed directly at his heart and chest.
One of the SWAT members shouted "Hands!" to which Percy rose them up. The same member shouted for him to get on the ground.
"Oh no. What happened this time?" Annabeth groaned.
Percy sighed "I thought after our first quest, we'd be done with the manhunts."
Percy looked up at the balcony to see two snipers before looking back at the ones on the ground. He said with a shaky voice "Guys, you do not want to do this. Trust me."
The SWAT Officer shouted "Mask!" another said "Copy."
This then caused everyone to put their masks in while Percy shrugged his shoulders. "Alright, have it your own way. MASK!"
A dark voice responded "Copy" Before Percy was cocooned inside a black liquid substance which then formed into a gigantic humanoid figure. The creature's face had large white jagged eyes while a huge mouth filled with sharp teeth that turned into a smile. A long and sharp tongue protruded from its mouth.
This made several people jump and back away "Ah! The fuck is that thing!?" Leo shouted while Hazel hid herself into Frank.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Venom." Nick announced.
This caused the SWAT to fire at it as one shouted "What the hell is that thing!?"
The bullets did nothing to Venom so a member shot a smoke grenade at it, but Venom caught it and crushed it, releasing the smoke. Another member shot another smoke grenade, but Venom caught it in his mouth, releasing more smoke.
The SWAT stopped firing and shot two flares into the smoke. Venom began sneaking up on the team, grabbing two before jumping up and spinning around, throwing them into an LED sign and landing on a platform. He glared at the SWAT team below before jumping down and continuing his hit and run tactics.
"Holy shit!" Thalia watched with widen eyes. This made her think what would possibly happen if her and the hunters had to face something like Venom.
"I had that thing... Inside me?" Percy nearly felt sick at the sight of it.
"The real question is how!" Annabeth said as she held his hand.
Venom took several out before one of the snipers spoke "Switching to thermal" Through the scope, we could see the SWAT searching around before Venom landed on the ground and tossed one of the team members into the sniper.
Venom grabbed two team members before throwing them into a mirror. He jumped before grabbing another and tossing him into a pillar hard enough to break a chunk of the pillar off.
"Good gods." Jason watched how strong its throw was.
"He's fast." Piper watched in a mixture of fear and amazement.
He began pushing, kicking and throwing many of them away. Before it became silent.
"I don't have eyes on it."
"Where is it?"
The SWAT looked around before Venom landed down in front of five of them and used his tendrils to grab their weapons before turning it into a ball and throwing it at them.
The SWAT began throwing flash grenades at Venom, which caused parts of his body to react violently. Shrieking as another flash bang was thrown at him. They continued firing their weapons at him.
"Wait, is that thing weak to light?" Frank asked but Annabeth shook her head.
"No, it's the sound. It's hurt by loud noises."
Leo sighed "Welp, I'll be sure to get started on a sonic gun."
The second sniper threw a flash bang which made Venom turn around, snarl and jump onto the balcony and throw him off.
Venom climbed to the top until he was on the rafters. The SWAT kept firing at him, making him jump and move around. Venom grabbed a part of the rafter before pulling it off, landing on several SWAT units.
Venom jumped off and landed on the ground before grabbing a unit and began flinging him against the others like a ragdoll before throwing him against multiple glass panels. Venom grabbed one final SWAT member and threw him on the ground hard.
Leo thought of a joke "Hey he's SWATting at them."
The video stopped and everyone looked at him with deadpanned looks.
Leo laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head "Shutting up now."
Venom roared into the sky with his tongue out before cutting to a woman entering the hallway. It was Annabeth wearing a black jacket, black turtleneck, boots and a skirt.
"Annabeth, what the Hades are you doing there?" Percy asked.
"How should I know?" Annabeth defended herself.
She walked through the hallway until a SWAT member that was on the ground, kept firing at Venom before running out of ammo. The black alien grabbed him and rose him above his head before opening his jaws wide, ready to eat him. That was until Percy shouted in Venom's head "No! We do not eat the policeman!"
Percy blinked "Am I... Talking in its head?"
Annabeth realized "Oh I think I get it now. That thing is like some sort of symbiotic parasite."
"I wouldn't call him a parasite." Nick said. "He hates that name. Just call him Venom."
Annabeth saw Venom and screamed, making Venom look at her and drop the soldier. She ran off.
Venom began to shrink down back into Percy as he ran towards her. "Annie! Annie, wait! Wait please!"
"Wow, you let Percy call you Annie, but not us?" Thalia snarked at Annabeth, whom glared at her. "I think the fact my boyfriend has that thing inside him is a bit more important than him calling me Annie."
Thalia shrugged "Fair enough."
Annabeth shouted "What the hell is that!?"
Percy explained "That's not me! I've been infected."
Annabeth gasped in terror "Percy, what is happening!?"
"He's inside me."
"He!?"
"Yes. I know it sounds crazy, but-"
"You're sick! Percy, you're really sick."
"NO, I'M SCARED!!"
This made the audience silent. Not once had they ever seen or heard Percy ever admit that he was scared. Nobody could blame him though.
It was silent as Percy looked at Annabeth with tears threatening to spill. He pleaded "And I need help."
Annabeth steeled herself as she shouted "Hospital! Right now!"
The scene ended with the two looking at each other.
Everybody took a deep breath and Nick spoke. "Right, I think right now is a good idea to take a break. Please explore, because we have some interesting rooms where you can learn about the worlds you've just watched. More will be shown as you watch others."
Nick disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving everyone alone to look around.
