In the imitation of Sally Jackson's house, Percy and Annabeth were away from the rest of the gang. In a room where the two were just holding each other, tears drying off of their cheeks.
"I'm... Scared." Percy said, surprising himself by the fear he felt. Annabeth closed her eyes and simply held him tighter.
"How could something like that happen to you?" She whispered, feeling a fresh batch of tears slowly drip down her cheeks.
Percy just thought about what they all saw, until finally he asked. "Is that what all soldiers have to go through? Is that what war does to people? Is that what we went through?" He asked, trying to process the meaning behind what he saw as a new fear came upon him as a question of other universes where he or his friends are soldiers fighting in wars.
Annabeth frowned before saying, "Think about what we went through... That's what we are... Soldiers."
Percy held her tighter to him, "I hate it... I hate it all." He didn't want to let go of her, and neither did she.
There was a knock on the door before Jason opened it. "Hey guys. We're... About to start the next one." He closed it to leave the two alone.
Percy breaths abit as he says softly. "Alright, I guess we have to go see what's next." Clearly not sure if he was ready to face what's next.
Annabeth nodded, not sure about what was coming next. The couple walked out and back to the couch where they sat down on the floor next to Leo.
"You guys ok?" Frank asked.
Percy had a soft smile, "We'll be ok."
Nick looked at the two before speaking, "For our next viewing, we'll be going back to a universe we've seen before."
Percy asked, "Which one?" Really hoping it's one that will cheer up his spirits.
Nick hissed in embarrassment, "Dracula."
It was silent until Leo sighed, "Crap." Everyone else agreed with his statement.
"But before we get to that, I think you guys deserve a little treat in the world. This little scene takes place a few weeks after Dracula's war began." Nick said.
Piper looked at Nick with uncertain eyes, "Well that's good… I think?"
"It better be good after that bullshit we watched." Thalia said.
Nick tapped into his tablet and the screen started up.
The screen revealed a church with a blood red moon over it. It cut to the doors with villagers wielding torches and other tools exclaiming about witches.
Inside of the Church, standing at the altar was the Bishop, Octavian.
Percy glared at Octavian while the others watched with either hatred at him or with uncertainty. "Oh boy, here we go." Said Jason.
The doors opened, making Octavian frown when the doors were closed. "Who's that? Are the Speakers dead?"
A deep layered voice replied, "Nooooo."
"Well then get back out there! The Speakers have to die before the sun goes down!"
In the darkness, a blue glow appeared, only for a furry demon with blue fangs and six glowing eyes to stand in front of him. "The sun... Is already down."
Everyone stared at the screen shaking abit. "Oh shit." was what Leo muttered while Hazel exclaimed, "I'm way too black for this demonic shit!"
Percy watched and a sense of enjoyment began to manifest in him. Hoping Octavian will die for what he did to Annabeth.
Several demonic bat-like creatures crawled down the church walls behind Octavian as he spoke to the blue glowing demon known as Blue Fangs. "You... Cannot enter the House of God!"
Blue Fangs snarled, "God is not here. This is an empty box."
More demon bats crawled down to join the two.
Piper raised an eyebrow, "So, if they're able to walk into a regular church, could the demons enter into a site which is worshiped by our parents? Would that person or persons be protected?" She asked as Leo looked at her curious before he himself and a few others became deep in thought.
"That's honestly a good question. " Said Frank.
"An empty box..." Annabeth shivered slightly, "Maybe that... Demon is right. If God did abandon him, they'd be allowed in there."
Percy was shaking a bit now as he looked to the others and asked, "You don't think our parents would abandon us… Do you?"
This made everyone freeze up a bit. They wanted to deny it, but they knew the truth. They already did it before. What's stopping them this time? No one answered.
Octavian looked at the demons behind him before proclaiming, "God is in all His churches!"
Blue Fangs was unimpressed, "Your God's love is not unconditional. He does not love us, and he does not love you."
Octavian was starting to grow fearful, as the blue glow could be seen in his eyes. "I have done His bidding. My life's work is in His name!"
"Murdering innocent women is your life's work!?" Percy growled as he clenched his fists.
Frank shook his head. "Yeah no, NOT OK!" As he was joined in agreement by others.
Blue Fangs grinned, "Your life's work... Makes Him puke."
"I... Am the Bishop... Of Gresit!"
"Your God knows that we wouldn't be here without you." His fur and spikes rose as he hissed, "This is all your fault, isn't it?"
Octavian's spirit broke as he exclaimed, "SHE WAS A WITCH!!"
"Lies? In your House of God? No wonder He has abandoned you." Blue Fangs delighted in tearing the false Bishop down.
"Even... A demon knew Annabeth was innocent? How is that possible?" Piper asked.
Annabeth sighed, "I know I'm not much of a religious person, shocker I know, but I think this is one of the many reasons why the church is failing." She said that got more than a few eyebrows raised.
Leo asked, "Why? if you don't mind me asking."
Annabeth states flatly. "Because of the clear corruption and twisting of their faith to justify their acts such as what he did."
"Then what do you call us? Aren't we religious because we worship gods?" Hazel asked.
Annabeth thinks about it, "I mean yeah. However we don't go around burning people at the stake because we're afraid of our political position."
Hazel was about to say something but then thought about it and nodded with a hand on her chin. "No, no you got a good point."
"Plus we know that our gods exist." Percy added.
"But we love you." Blue Fangs said, walking towards the altar.
Octavian was shocked, "W-What?"
"Uhh... What?" Thalia was confused and weirded out.
Percy's horror movie senses were going off. "Oh I've seen enough horror flicks to know where this is going." He stated.
"And I don't like the direction it's going." Jason said.
"We love you." Blue Fangs repeated. "We couldn't be here without you." He put a clawed hand on his shoulder and the other on his cheek. Octavian was whimpering and shaking in fear. "Let me... Kiss you." Blue Fangs growled.
The screen only showed Octavian's legs, but they heard Blue Fang's growling and Octavian's gargled yells as blood and flesh pooled around the altar.
The room was filled with screams as some covered their eyes as even some emptied their stomachs at the gory sight.
Percy couldn't help but watch and feel both a sense of joy, and disgust. Not at the view, but at himself, for enjoying seeing a person die. Even if it was Octavian.
The scene ended with a view of the rose window of Jesus, looking on in sadness, before it faded into black.
"And now you all know the fate that befell Octavian for the death of Annabeth." Nick said before tapping into his tablet. "Now, I think it's time we add several new audience members."
Three flashes appeared behind the crew, revealing Sally and Paul, Percy's mother and stepdad. As well as Nico, Son of Hades.
Percy jumped up on his feet as he shouted, "Mom! Paul!" He rushed up and hugged his mother and stepdad with a smile on his face.
"Percy!" Sally and Paul hugged him back.
Hazel stood up as well, "Nico!" She rushed in to hug him as well.
Nico's eyes widened as he hugged her back, "Uhh... Hey Hazel?"
Sally looked at her son, "Oh my baby boy! Are you ok? Are you eating well? How's Annabeth? Where are we?"
Percy nodded as he wiped away tears, "Yeah I'm good mom, as to where. Well that's kinda complicated."
Nick waved his hand, "Hello! Mr and Mrs. Blofis and Mr. Diangelo. My name is Nick, and I can explain everything."
And so Nick explained to the three their reason for being here and who Nick was.
"So let me get this straight, the Multiverse is real and you watch over our universe?" Paul summarized.
"Yep." Nick said, popping the P.
Percy said to his mother, "Yeah now that you think about it. I guess we have kinda gotten used to it, to where the novelty of it is somewhat wearing off."
"I see..." Sally said, still trying to wrap her head around it.
"And I thought we've done it all." Nico said, sitting down at a chair next to Hazel's spot.
Hazel nodded, "Yep." As Frank asked. "So my question is, what other things will we see next?"
"Well we'll be continuing our Dracula universe. That bit was just so you'd know what happened to Annabeth's killer." Nick replied.
"Wait, Dracula? And what was that about Annabeth's killer? Who killed Annabeth!?" Sally exclaimed.
Everyone was silent as they all slowly look to Nick to explain.
Nick sighed, "In the year 1455, Annabeth traveled to Dracula's Castle in order to acquire knowledge about science. She met Perseus Dracula Tepes and she offered to teach him to tolerate humanity while he taught her science. And then 20 years later, Annabeth was burned at the stake by the Church and Dracula declares war on humanity for killing the only reason he tolerated humans."
The newcomers had to process the information but the reactions were the same, Horrified, disgusted, and outright shameful for the darker side of humanity. Sally put her hands around her son, "Oh my boy…"
"Now we will be watching the end of the war." Nick said.
Percy sat down with Annabeth and his family as he said, "Alright then. Let's see what the end of this war is like then."
Everyone else mentally prepared themselves.
The screen came to life with the sight of Dracula's Castle. A red moon shining down over the black structure.
"Holy crap... Percy lives in that?" Nico asked in shock. It was bigger than his father's palace.
Hazel nods, "Yeah. Kinda crazy now that you really think about it. Also how does he keep the whole place clean?"
To which Leo suggested. "Magic?"
"Servants?" Jason also suggested.
"How did he even get such a castle?" Sally asked, amazed by the sight.
Now everyone was derailed with their own questions. "Maybe this place has a library where we can learn about it." Percy added.
"He made it." Nick answered.
Everyone blinked, "I'm sorry. I must've heard wrong, but I thought I heard you say that Percy made that castle." Piper said, poking her finger into her ear.
"You heard correctly, Piper." Nick said.
Frank even threw up his arms at the screen saying, "HE BUILT THAT!?"
"FU-" Thalia was about to say, but stopped when Sally looked at her so she exclaimed. "Freaking how!?"
Nick smirked, "I'll explain that in a bit, but for now, let's continue with the viewing."
"You can't just throw us a bone and not make us go after it." Hazel said with a pout and her arms crossed over.
Inside of the castle, Perseus ripped the heart out of a vampire knight when Hazel ran up to him. She was bald and wore black armor with red silk wrapped around her waist, much like her master.
Dracula crushed the heart when Hazel revealed, "Your son is here!"
Annabeth shook her head, "I still can't believe we have a son, but that also…" She trailed off, knowing what happened. Percy's mother was, of course, a roller coaster of emotions, for one she had a grandson, but the other is that said son was going to fight his father.
Not to mention how her son looked, he was extremely tall and had blood red eyes with facial hair. She couldn't see her son with that kind of look.
Hazel put a hand to her hair, "What happened to my hair!?"
Thankfully everyone was smart not to comment. For hell hath no fury like an angry woman.
Dracula dropped the knight which bursted into flames, "Alucard has entered the castle?"
Hazel continued, "And a woman who stinks of magic... And a hunter." The screen showed Perseus's bloodied hand with sharp fingernails, and wedding band on his ring finger.
"To your study." Hazel said as the two made their way to the aforementioned room.
"Who am I to Percy in this universe?" Hazel asked.
"You are his Devil Forgemaster. You have a magical gift for bringing denizens of Hell into corpses, turning them into Night Creatures." Nick answered.
"That's... A strange profession." Leo said, to which Nico agreed.
"Dad would've loved to learn about this show." Annabeth said.
Hazel just stared at the screen as she shivered abit. "Welp, I'm going to Tartarus." She said with a deadpan voice.
"Been there, done that." Percy, Annabeth, and Nico said in unison.
Paul looked at his stepson on screen and shivered. "Why does he make me feel like I need to bow down to him, no matter how I feel?"
Sally couldn't help but nod with her husband.
They made their way in, to which Hazel stood in front of Dracula at the door, "Behind me, Dracula! They will not reach you while I live."
Perseus looked at her with hidden astonishment. "You would give your mortal life to preserve my immortal one?"
"To save your genius? Your knowledge, and your will? Without question." Hazel said, turning her head towards her master. "I am just a Forgemaster. Yours is the wisdom of ages."
Percy was shocked as he looked at Hazel, "I, I… Thanks Hazel but please in the future don't be so… uh…" Annabeth added, "Cultish in your loyalty."
"Dracula had to have shown her something amazing if she's that loyal to him." Leo suggested.
"He treated her as a friend." Nick said, "Hazel was a slave to a Christian priest who tortured her until she murdered him and was convinced about wiping out the human race. Dracula met Hazel because he was traveling for Annabeth. After her death, Dracula turned to Hazel and another Forgemaster to create an army for him."
Everyone was surprised. "I... Willing joined him in destroying my own race?" Hazel asked, horrified.
Frank leaned back in his seat as he said while wrapping an arm around her shoulders, "Rage, Hate, and Vengeance, the strongest of human emotions, ones that will lead anyone blindly to their own self destruction."
Sally looked at Hazel with sadness before wrapping her arms around her from behind, "Oh sweetie. You're not alone. If you ever feel anything like that, never forget, you have people to talk to."
Percy looked at Hazel and nodded with a smile.
Dracula smiled softly, "You are the greatest of your species, Hazel. You have a soul, I think" Broken pieces of a mirror began to form from the side. "Perhaps that is more valuable to the world to come, than a dusty collection of books and apparatus. Or perhaps you simply deserve a better fate than to die instead of me."
Hazel glared at the door, "I choose my death, as I chose my life." The mirror solidified to reveal a desert on the other side.
Dracula put a hand on her shoulder, "Then I regret only that I have taken a choice for you." Hazel's eyes widened as Dracula tossed her through the mirror.
She landed in the desert before looking at the portal, "NO! DRACULA!!!" She couldn't see it, but Dracula had a soft smile on his face as the portal closed. Hazel collapsed onto her knees and hands before gripping the sand.
"He... Saved her." Leo said, with widened eyes.
"If it truly ended with Dracula killing every human, she would've been the last one. So why would he toss her through a... Mirror?" Thalia asked, confused.
Percy smiled, "Because he believed that she deserves a chance at life."
Annabeth wrapped her arms around the side of his neck as she rested her head on his shoulder. "You're too compassionate for your own good. Even as a big scary vampire king."
The mirror fell down into pieces at Dracula's feet before he turned back towards the door to see...
"Father..." A late teenage boy with long blonde hair and yellow eyes said.
"Son."
Annabeth's eyes widened as she stared at their son. She put her hands to her mouth. Sally looked as well. Percy felt a pit in his stomach form, "Please no." was all he could whisper out.
Everyone else was silent as the tension grew.
Alucard's eyes were seen as he declared, "Your war is over."
Perseus's signature grin was seen as he asked, "Because you say so?"
"It ends... In the name of my mother."
This angered Dracula, "It ENDURES in the name of your mother."
"I told you before I won't let you do it. I grieve with you, but I won't let you commit genocide." Alucard said with sad finality.
Dracula glared at his son, "You couldn't stop me before."
To which, two other people joined. On Alucard's right was a man with blonde hair, blue eyes and a stubble, wearing an old tunic with a waist cloth and a chain whip in his hand.
On Alucard's left, was a woman with choppy short brown hair and kaleidoscope eyes. She wore blue robes and sandals.
"I was alone before." Alucard glared at his father.
Sally had tears in her eyes, "Oh my baby boy." She said, wrapping her arms around Percy.
Jason watched and held Piper's hand as he asked, "We're gonna die, aren't we?"
Piper shook her head, "No. I have a feeling we will survive." She said in determination.
"No offense dude, but he's the kind of guy you don't screw around with." Leo said with fear in his voice.
"We've faced gods, monsters, and Giants. How is he any different?" Thalia asked with a cross of her arms.
"You'll see." Nick said.
Dracula stared down the three with a smirk before Alucard raised his sword up and charged towards Dracula with blazing speed. They backed up towards the fireplace, impacting the stone. Cracking it with books falling off of shelves and a painting of Annabeth falling down.
Alucard growled with struggle as Dracula held the tip of the blade with just a thumb and two fingers. Before he began pushing his son back. Alucard pulled back before making two swipes with his blade to which Dracula dodged. Alucard made another strike but Dracula caught his arm and backhanded his son into the fireplace.
No one said a word, well all for one, as Percy shouted. "STOP! HE'S YOUR SON! Please just stop fighting!" Tears were threatening to leave his eyes at the thought of fighting his own son to the death.
Annabeth watched with tears as well as she held Percy down. "Percy please!"
Sally also watched and was on the verge of crying as well but was held by Paul.
Nico watched with widened eyes, "Gods, that was fast!"
Jason and Piper glared at the Vampire King before Jason began charging at him, only for Perseus to launch towards the Vampire Hunter, breaking the floor while he was at it. He slammed Jason against the wall who fell onto his knees with blood spilling out of his mouth.
Dracula stood over him before Piper spewed fire from her hand at him while he covered himself with his cape. "Speaker Magician!" He hissed before launching towards her which made her create an ice barrier only for Dracula to shatter through it and scratch her right shoulder, launching her away.
Percy couldn't say anything, his emotions made him mute as he was watching what unfolded right in front of him.
Piper put a hand on her shoulder where the scratches would be. She asked, "What's a Speaker Magician?"
Nick answered, "Speakers are a nomadic group of historians, scholars, and magicians that travel the world, aiding others and collecting knowledge to which they pass down to their kin orally."
Frank nods, "Interesting culture.''
"What about me?" Jason asked.
"You're part of the Belmont family." Nick said.
"Oh... Ok." Jason said, not sure how to feel about that.
Jason got up, seeing Piper, he shouted, "PIPER!!" He ran up towards Dracula and grabbed his cape, to which he turned around as Jason began punching his face. Dracula didn't even flinch, even smirked as he realized, "You must be the Belmont."
Everyone's eyes widened, watching another version of Percy enjoying the pathetic attempts to fight him.
Percy just let out a soft, "Sorry"
"Percy, this isn't you." Annabeth said, holding him.
Jason punched his gut with the same result before Dracula punched his chest, cracking his ribs and making him jump into the air before Dracula grabbed his throat and raised his hand, ready to pierce his face. "The end of your line."
Before that could happen, Alucard stabbed him in the arms before Piper used her flames on his face. Dracula made noises of pain as he flinched and let go of Jason's throat. He moved so Piper's flames were touching Alucard who flinched.
Piper stopped which made Dracula backhand her to a wall before doing the same to his son.
Jason breathed a sigh of relief until he watched Piper get backhanded and grew worried. "Piper!"
Piper held onto him, "I'm right here, Jason. I'm ok."
Percy once again was saying his sorrys repeatedly to the point one would think he was from Canada.
"Percy, you have to stop. That is not you. That is not who you are." Sally moved to hold her son to help him feel better.
Percy nodded slowly, "I know it's just… It doesn't make it feel any better because I could be like that one day." He said the idea that he might use what he has for monstrous acts scared him.
"You wouldn't. Because there are so many people who love you. Including us." Sally rubbed his shoulder before kissing his head. "Now close your mind from it."
Percy was just silent but laid into his mothers embrace to try and find comfort in what they were seeing.
Jason pulled a stake made out of bone out and tried to pierce Dracula's heart, but pierced under his armpit. Dracula growled as he began swiping his claws at Jason who dodged every single one.
Further down the hallway, Alucard and Piper were recuperating with Piper ripping off her robe and heating up her hand and pressed it against her wound to cauterize it.
Dracula continued his swipes with very little success while dodging Trevor's stabbing attempts. He noticed Piper attempting a fire spell so he grabbed Jason's wrist and tossed him at Piper. The two collided away from the fight.
"They're doing their best but it's not enough. Dracula is just too powerful." Thalia watched, thinking how The Hunters of Artemis would definitely have a difficult time fighting him.
Annabeth nodded, "He's got years of experience, he's got the power, and most of all and from what I can see. He's lost his will to live. He's the most dangerous beast of all."
Piper was pouting, "Even with my super awesome magic powers it's not enough."
"They are pretty awesome." Percy admitted.
"I hope I can learn how to control my fire like that." Leo said, watching Piper's counterpart.
Alucard launched himself against his father towards a wall. Dracula brought his hands together and smashed them on Alucard's shoulders. The impact caused huge cracks in the wall and floor. The Son of Dracula smacked his hands away before chopping him on the neck with both hands which stunned the King. Dracula pushed him away before Piper used ice to keep his foot in place.
Jason used the chain whip to hit Dracula in the chest that caused a giant explosion. Launching Dracula into the end of the hallway.
Frank hissed abit as he winced, "Man that's gotta hurt."
Percy rubbed his chest, imagining what that felt like.
When the smoke cleared, Dracula stood still before collapsing to his hands and knees, before leaving scratches on the carpet as he said in amusement while getting back up, "The Morningstar Whip. Well played Belmont. But I am no ordinary vampire to be killed by your human magics. I am Perseus Dracula Tepes... AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!"
He floated above the floor with his cape flowing outwards like bat wings before fire concentrated into a giant ball of magma and hurled it towards the trio.
Jason looks at the display with awe as he raises a finger, "I know this is pretty serious, but I gotta admit. That was badass." He says pointing at the screen.
Annabeth couldn't help but think his final sentence had a double meaning. Like he's had enough of the fight, and had enough of everything else in the world.
Sally was of the same mind as she held her son tighter.
Jason was in the way until Piper stood in the way and put her hands together before pushing them outwards as air tried to push the fireball back but did very little. It even began pushing Piper back until Jason pressed his back to hers. She concentrated more which seemed to work. Alucard arrived in front of Piper with his vampiric speed before summoning his sword and pressed the tip against the ball.
This worked and the ball was launched back at Dracula with Alucard pressing on. Dracula pressed his hands against the ball to push back, but Alucard broke the ball which caused another explosion. Leaving a large hole in the wall and Alucard and Dracula gone.
More than a few flinched again as Hazel shook her head a bit. "If he wasn't a vampire, that would have been a few broken bones." She says with abit of a cringe face.
Percy took deep breaths to prepare for the bloodshed that would happen between his counterpart and son.
Annabeth took Percy's hand as she said. "I'm here, I'm right here." Her voice was trying to be soothing and comforting as she herself needed someone to help keep her steady for the fight with their son.
Percy held her as well, tightly.
Alucard pushed his father through the stone wall before they appeared in another study like room. With the large floating mirror from the first Dracula viewing. Dracula landed on the ground while Alucard floated above him. Perseus growled before roaring as he flew towards his son while he did the same.
The two traded blows back and forth while flying around each other. Dracula used his palm to push his son into a bookcase before Alucard dodged as Dracula destroyed the bookshelf and chased after him.
The two traded more blows before Alucard used his vampiric speed to dodge his claws and kick him in the face before moving in front of him to knee Dracula's face. Dracula recovered quickly and punched his son in the chest which knocked him back into a bookshelf before taking a fist to the face. Alucard dodged another punch before tackling Dracula to the air. He started using rapid hits before Dracula grabbed his wrist and backhanded his son in the face and punched him before tossing him through the ceiling, into the next floor.
Frank just cringed a bit, "I know I said it already, but damn that's gotta hurt if he wasn't a vampire! I mean good gods man! How much damage can one guy take?"
Everyone also cringed, while Sally put her hands to her mouth. Horrified at how it wasn't even a fight, it was just an animalistic brawl. More on her son's side.
Leo added, "I'd hate to think what an actual fight between us and our parents would be like."
Everyone agreed. Percy himself was taking deep breaths to calm himself down while he was holding his girlfriend.
Dracula flew through the hole to find his son on the floor. He landed down and began walking towards him when Alucard grabbed a wooden stake. This amused Dracula as he chuckled, "You mean to stake me?"
"You want me to."
Hazel just stared shell shocked. "He does want to die. To be with Annabeth."
Annabeth and Sally were shocked. They both wrapped their arms around him as Sally cried, "My baby boy!"
Percy was silent as Annabeth quietly scolded him. "Death isn't the answer!"
Nico watched before looking at Percy, feeling guilty for blaming him for his sister's death.
Frank was on his feet yelling, "No! Don't do it! There's gotta be another way, man!"
Hazel pulled him back down, "Please, let's just watch the rest of it."
Dracula was slightly baffled, "What?"
"You didn't kill me before. You're not going to kill me now." Alucard said, turning around to face his father. "You want this to end as much as I do!"
"DO I!?" Alucard dodged Dracula's boot stomping on where his face was.
"You died when my mother died, you know you did. This entire catastrophe has been nothing but history's longest suicide note!" Alucard finished before rushing to stab his heart, only for Dracula to move slightly and he staked his lung.
"Not... Quite... Close... Enough." Dracula said slowly before pushing Alucard through a door.
Percy, his mother, and Annabeth were in a huge hug just holding each other close for support, while everyone else was tackling a lot of emotions at once. "That's... Horrible." Paul said, horrified.
Leo wasn't doing any better as he was staring down at the ground, "All that death, all that destruction, the loss of human life… It was just a complicated suicide, he wanted to take the whole world with him."
Thalia could feel a tear about to leak out so she wiped it away.
Piper and Hazel watched with horrified eyes. This was horrible to hear. A man so filled with love he wanted to die because of what was done to her.
Dracula ripped the stake out before rushing towards his son. Jason and Piper were running through the castle, trying to catch up to them. "Next floor up! I hear them! Piper said.
Dracula began chasing his son through a brick hallway. Roaring and grunting with each attack, before Alucard tackled him into a room. They dodged and traded blows before Dracula tossed him into another room. Alucard dodged before tackling Dracula into a large room with huge mechanizations that were melted and a large broken window.
Leo just mutters out, "Please. Just stop this madness."
Percy shook his head, "This ends one of two ways, Leo. Either I die or..." He trailed off.
Annabeth grabbed Percy's face and forced him to look at her, "Don't! Don't you fucking finish that sentence Percy!"
Percy looked down in shame. "I'm sorry…"
Dracula punched his son several time, showing how blind with rage he was. Alucard snarled before he began using his vampiric speed to punch him. He zoomed all around, punching his father until Dracula stood still and held his hand out. Catching Alucard by the face before slamming him onto the ground. He bashed his head in twice before holding him up and punching him through the wall.
No one said a word as they watched and witnessed one of the saddest things they could think of, their own friend fighting his son and wanting said son to kill their friend over a woman he loved.
Alucard coughed and wheezed as Dracula walked through the hole. He growled like a pissed off lion. Alucard struggled to get up when his father punched him once more. He tried to fight back but got punched again. Alucard coughed as Dracula raised his hand up once more. He clenched his hand into a fist before punching Alucard through a door. Rolling towards a bed.
"STOP! YOU'RE GONNA KILL YOUR OWN FUCKING SON, YOU BASTARD!!" Percy shouted, barely containing his emotions.
Percy wasn't alone as Annabeth joined him. "HE'S OUR SON! I would never wish for either of you to fight to the death!" She was crying, hell she didn't stop crying, but what she was seeing in front of her was just pure insanity that not even the gods would approve of.
Everyone else was silent, knowing this was too important to the two of them.
Dracula went through the door, clawing at the stone wall. Alucard struggled to get back up as Dracula walked closer to him.
Percy and Annabeth closed their eyes. Not wanting to see what happens next.
And then he stopped. He gasped as his eyes widened. Alucard looked up at his father and wondered why he stopped. That's when Dracula said with his hand to his chest. "It's your room..."
Percy and Annabeth both opened their eyes and saw the room of their son, and it broke their hearts. "That, that is just fucking messed up." Commented Leo quietly as a few others nod their heads.
The blood red glow from the moon died down into a calming blue. Showing off the room with a basket of toys, a desk with several books in it. And then it showed a painting of the stars. Dracula's blood red eyes faded away with just his red iris. He then put his arms around shoulders as he said, "My boy..."
Sally put her hands to her mouth once more as she said, "He stopped..." Paul wrapped his arms around her as they watched their son on screen.
Percy breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that the fighting would end and they could resolve all this so that at least his other self could live happily with his son, of course the same thought was shared by Annabeth.
Everyone else still had a bad feeling as they watched Dracula begin to break down.
"I... I... I'm killing my boy." The weight of what he was doing started to fall down on him. He walked towards a painting. It was Annabeth in a white dress with baby Alucard in her hands while Dracula smiled. "Annabeth... I'm killing our boy."
The screen cut to more of the room. Including the toys as Dracula spoke. "We painted this room, we... Made these toys. It's our boy, Annabeth."
Annabeth put her hands to her mouth as more tears began to fall down. "It's not your fault…"
Percy was just dead as he was feeling the emotional weight fall onto him like a truck.
Everyone else was silent as they were either fighting emotions, the urge to yell, cry, anything their emotions were screaming for them to do.
Alucard stood up, pulling a bedpost out into the shape of a stake and slowly began walking towards his father.
Dracula placed his hands to his eyes, trying to resist the urge to cry as he said, "Your greatest gift to me... And I'm killing him!" He looked at his son with dead vacant eyes as he finished with, "I must already be dead..."
Everyone just froze at the scene that was playing out before them, none could speak or say anything as they were stricken with shock and horror.
Dracula closed his eyes before opening them to look at his son one last time before Alucard pierced his heart. Dracula gasped as blood leaked from his mouth. He whispered, "Son..."
Alucard, with tears in his eyes, pushed the stake in more as he cried out, "Father..."
That did it, all the holding back of tears and the moment finally unleashed the dam of emotions as everyone broke down into a mass of crying, shouting, even outright mass hugging bunch of emotionally wrecked people.
Percy held onto Annabeth for dear life as he kept repeating, "I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry…"
Annabeth, Sally, and Paul held onto him as they were crying messes themselves. Everyone else also held onto each other for some semblance of comfort.
Nick watched and decided that was enough. He turned off the screen and took his Komodo Dragon, Godzilla away to let everyone be for now.
Olympus
Poseidon watched with tears in his eyes. "My boy..." He whispered.
Zeus was torn. He had seen that boy's counterpart's power and believed it would be their end, but he also saw the tortured soul he was.
Artemis, along with the other goddesses were either in tears or dealing with the emotions of seeing a father wishing for his own son to kill him. Aphrodite had gone through a mountain of tissues.
Hera herself watched and couldn't help but think of how poor she treated her own children. It was heart wrenching to watch a man who wished for death by his own child.
Ares soon spoke up as he said with a deadly serious voice. "This… this is why we should be involved more in our children's lives. How many of them would do something like this just to have us kill them? How many would be pushed to the breaking point and unleash a genocidal war just to get our attention and we are forced to kill them?" He doesn't say anymore as he knows this is what more than a few of his fellow gods were thinking.
"My son was manipulated because we didn't care about our own children. It's... This has to stop. We need our children to know we love them... I don't want another child to end up like Luke." Hermes said, wiping his tears away.
Hades looked down, thinking about how much he should've done for Nico and Bianca than just put them in a damned casino.
Apollo was the first to speak up as he said, "When we are able to, I will be going down to Camp Half-Blood to visit my children."
He wasn't alone as Aphrodite spoke up, "I as well." Poseidon breathed heavily as he collected himself and said with conviction. "As will I.''
Finally ending with Hermes joining in as well. "Never again will another Luke happen."
Zeus was silent as he thought it over before sighing, "I've been a fool. Following the Ancient Laws has brought nothing but misery to the world. I... Want to see my children as well."
"Well it's nice that you're all learning, but unfortunately we're not quite done." Nick said, walking towards the center of the room.
"What do you mean?" Hestia asked.
Nick replied, "Our next viewing will be exploring something you've never experienced. Mortality."
"Our... Mortality?" Hades asked.
The Overseer smirked, "Tell me. What do you know about Black Ops?"
