After using a mind trick on the Guards at the gate, the two began to explore. Five Hours After Entering the city the Duo had passed the same broken bench for the seventeenth time in a row. Not to mention it was pretty late at night.
"THIS CITY IS LIKE A MAZE, HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSE TO NAVIGATE THROUGH IT!" Rex exclaims to the heavens in desperation while on his knees.
"Rex, calm down, I'm sure we can find the exit again." Anakin says optimistically.
They had gotten lost in the City now know to them as Vale thanks to the locals. It was looking like they were gonna have to ask for directions... again. Despite Rex not wanting to. They were trying to find a place to get solid information about this world, what that train of thought died when they realize they couldn't read this worlds written language. The duo continue down the street looking for someone or a shop that's open to ask for directions back to the front gate. Eventually they see a shop open with strange symbols were the name is suppose to be. Might be there version of the Galactic Basic's Alphabet. I mean they most certainly speak Basic. Anakin thought.
"See, Look." Anakin says pointing out the shop to Rex "We can just go in there, and ask them." Just as he finished his sentence some guy in black gets tackled out of the window by a girl in a black long-sleeved blouse with a high collar and a red trim on the sleeves. Over which is a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a matching skirt with red lining. She also wears a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trims around the top, and red soles. She is fair-skinned young girl with neck-length black hair that fades to red at the tips. As Red gets up she activates something that turns into a massive Scythe. The duo's jaws drop at the sight of the cool looking weapon.
"I want one." Rex states sounding more like a demand.
"No kidding, that thing looks awesome" Anakin say while in awe.
"You think shes the 'Good Guy' in this situation" Rex asks as evil looking men surround the Scythe Girl.
"Well the other guys have a fancy black outfit, evil looking glasses, And are trying to hard to look intimidating... Yeah pretty sure she's the one we should help" As Anakin finishes, she had taken almost all of them out. "Or let her handle it herself."
"Well there's still one guy left." Rex remarks. The last guy had slanted, dark-green eyes and bright, long, ginger hair, with long bangs covering his right eye. Black eyeliner traced his visible left eye. He wore a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band.
"Well, Red, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as id love to stick around..." The man point his cane at Red. Meanwhile Rex and Anakin are just now approaching. "I'm afraid this is where we part ways." Upon those words he fires a rocket from his cane. Using the Force Anakin stops it mid air. Anakin quickly realizes it's taking a little bit more effort to do simple task with the force. The rocket the man had shot explodes while in Anakin's force grip, causing the trio to get distracted. Anakin and Rex could hear the faint sound that reminded them of a grapple hook being shot.
Red spots him First and points at him "There he is." She says. He was climbing a ladder to a roof as the Shopkeep was just now getting out of his shop.
"You ok if we go after him?" Anakin asks the elderly man.
"Uh Huh." At his response the trio run to the ladder. Red uses the recoil of her... Scythe... Gun... Thing... While Anakin throws Rex up there using the Force, and proceed to Force jump up.
"Hey!" Red Yells out to the Thieving Ginger
"Persistent..." He mutters to the point that's bearably audible. Just then a Ship fly's up from the ally way, and shins a light on the group while letting the crook in.
"End of the line, Red." Angry Ginger yells as he proceeds to throw what looks like a Kyber crystal at the trio, before shooting another rocket. Anakin uses the Force to push Red out of the way as the explosion hit's... And... their fine?
Anakin looks to see a woman in a white long-sleeved, pleated top that has a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body is covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown stockings. She wears black boots with bronze heels and a cape that is purple inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape is stylized to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back. Above this line of beads appears an emblem of a tiara.
Also glasses.
The woman is holding a riding crop, projecting a magical looking barrier. She adjusts her glasses, reels back her riding crop. Then launches about nine purple projectiles, causing the ship to get thrashed around. The Angry Ginger goes to the cockpit, and a woman in a red and gold dress come's out. Meanwhile Glasses sends a magical looking projectile out above the ship causing a storm to appear. The storm then proceeds to rain ice shards on the ship when she motions her riding crop in a downward slash. The woman in red and gold then shoots a blast of fire at Glasses, to which she blocks with another barrier. Anakin noticed the evil woman in red move her hand upward, snapping him out of his amazement. Using the Force Anakin pushs Glasses out of the vicinity, before the ground explodes where she use to be standing.
Anakin then ignites his Blue Lightsaber while Glasses uses the debris to make a massive spear, launching it at the ship, Angry Gingers Girlfriend then proceeds to fire three more blast at the Spear making it break apart, but it reassembles and presses on to it's target, but the ship dodges it. In the distraction Anakin throws his Saber at the Angry Gingers Girlfriend cutting off her left hand causing her to scream out in pain. After the successful strike Anakin uses the Force to pull his Saber back to him. The debris spear from earlier then become three spears and launch at the ship, But the Gingers Girlfriend is still kicking and melts all three with a magic looking fire shock-wave. The ship turns to start leaving as Angry Gingers Girlfriend's hand falls out of the ship and into the ally.
Anakin uses the force and grabs the ship as it tries to leave with on hand. He then uses his other hand as well noticing that he was beginning to slide across the ground. Red and Rex snap out of there amazement and starts shooting at the ship, but Miss One Hand has one trick left up her sleeve as she waves her hand and five fire eye things appear on the ground. Anakin let's go of the ship before moving quickly to use a Force Repulse in attempt to push everyone out of the way before jumping, accidentally rolling off the building. As Anakin start to fall down, Glasses Catches him with... The Force? And pulls him to safety while the enemy ship gets away.
The group finally recovers as they get up and collect themselves. Red speaks up first "You're a Huntress!" Glasses, Rex, and Anakin all look at Red. Rex and Anakin have a look of confusion but Glasses? She doesn't look amused in the slightest. She actually looks angry. "Can I have your autograph?" And Red just had to ask.
Glasses had taken the trio to a police stations interrogation room.
"I hope you three realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, especially for you young lady. You put yourselves and others in great danger." Glasses scolds.
"They Started It!" Red retorts.
"Red, Glasses here dose have a point." Anakin says admitting that what happened was in fact dangerous.
"I agree." Rex adds.
"Thank you," Glasses says to the two before turning her attention back to Red. "Now as i was saying, if it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back..." Red looks somewhat happy while Rex and Anakin smirk having idea as to whats next. "And a slap on the wrist." She finishes slapping her riding crop on the table earning a squeal from Red, and A chuckle from Anakin and Rex. Red scowls lightly at their laughter. "But..." I sense annoyance in her tone. Anakin thought. "There is someone here who would like to meet you all." There it is. Anakin thought.
Glasses walks out of the way, and a man walks in. He is a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features. Interestingly, the man has black eyebrows which Anakin notes might've meant he had black hair before. Though he also noted that the man didn't seem to be old enough to have silvering grey hair.
He wears shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit consists of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants. In his hands he holds a cane, a coffee cup, and a plate of cookies.
"Ruby Rose..." He states getting closer, and staring into Red's eyes. "You... have silver eyes."
"Um..." Red, now know as Ruby looks less than comfortable. Anakin frowns at the choice of an introduction. What is he trying to do? Anakin wonders.
"So! Where did you learn to do this?" Green Glasses asks while Normal Glasses is showing footage from a vary unique holopad.
"S-Signal Academy." Ruby answers.
"Must be some Academy." Rex says with a smirk and a chuckle. Meanwhile Normal Glasses scowls at him for his comment.
"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" Green Glasses asks in shock.
"Well, one teacher in particular." She informs.
"I see.." He then places the plate of strange cookies in front of Ruby. She hesitates for a second before eating just about all of them in seconds. "It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty old crow." He finishes while looking up dramatically.
"Mmmm! Thash muh unkul!" Everyone watches as she finally swallows before continuing "Sorry, that's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal! I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing, and now I'm all like-- Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!" She says getting into strange poses.
"So I've noticed. And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?" Green Glasses asks.
"Yeah, I don't mean to be rude but you don't really look the part kid." Rex points out. Glasses just sighs and gives up, knowing her gaze didn't seem to affect the strange duo.
"Well Ahsoka didn't look the part first either, but look at how she turned out." Anakin retorts. Rex thought about it then shrugs with an accepting nod.
"Well... I want to be a Huntress." She says assuming that everyone in the room would know what she meant...
Anakin and Rex had no clue what a Huntress is.
"You want to slay monsters?" Green Glasses mildly interrogates.
"Yeah!" Ruby says in excitement. "I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause i wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, 'Hey, I might as well make a career out of it!' hehe. I mean the police are alright, but Huntsman and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting, cool and, Gosh, you know"
"...Do you know who I am?" Green Glasses asks plainly.
"The police chief?" Rex Guess's.
"Beacon's Principle?" Anakin tries his Luck at Guessing as well, earning a dumbfounded look from Ruby.
"Are you two serious, he's Professor Ozpin." She Answers. "The headmaster at Beacon."
Ozpin smirks and chuckles before he replies "Hello."
"Nice to meet you." She greets.
"You want to come to my school?"
"More than anything."
Ozpin looks at Glasses and she scoffs before he turns back to ruby "Well okay. But first I believe we have two others in the room, that need to be addressed."
"I'm Anakin Skywalker, and this is my brother Rex." Anakin introduces.
"A pleasure to meet you." Ozpin starts. "So! Where did you get theses weapons, and where did you learn to do this." As he says this Glasses shows them footage of Anakin throwing his Lightsaber, followed by Rex shooting his blaster.
"Well first," Anakin starts. "I crafted my Lightsaber, and second, I was trained by a man named Obi Wan." Anakin wasn't sure if he wanted to tell the full truth to this man. He hates lying but how do you explain that you've been reincarnated without sounding like a nut case.
"I was trained with my brother." Rex adds quickly catching onto what Anakin was doing.
"I see. And as I can see about your files you both were born In two different kingdoms during the same year." Ozpin states with a look of interest evident on his face. "Not to mention you both have already been enrolled into my school to become Huntsman under the recommendation of a man named..." Ozpin looks at his scroll. "Qui Gon Jinn. Someone who has no further records than hailing from a destroyed village in Anima."
"We don't have all of the answers sir." Anakin states.
"I see." Ozpin smirks as if expecting the responses given to them. "Well do you have any idea who you fought tonight? Any of you?"
"No clue." Rex states. Anakin nods in agreement as dose Ruby.
"Vary well then." Ozpin says standing. "I'll talk with the head of police, and I'll see the three of you at my school on your first day.
" I understand sir, and thank you" Anakin says getting up from his seat giving a bow.
"It's no problem, and I do hope you enjoy your new lives. " Ozpin says with a smirk before walking out. Upon hearing this Anakin and Rex glace at each other with wide eyes.
