Anakin looks in the direction Rex screamed with a grimace, but decided to look back to Ruby for the moment noticing she had either jumped or fell.
"HEADS UPPP!!!" She shouts.
He catches her with the Force just before some blond kid fly's past and into a tree. Anakin lowers Ruby only for him to get hit to the ground by something landing on him. Anakin gets up to notice Rex. He must have been what hit me. Anakin thought. Rex was getting up as Blake was asking Yang "Did your sister just fall from the sky?"
"I..."
Just then a bunch of tree's fall over in the distance. we all look over to see a bear Grimm fall to the ground with some girl in pink riding it. The beast die's and begins to disintegrate. A kid in Green comes out from behind it and the two talk for a second, only for the girl to disappear. We all look around and see that she some how got passed us and was looking at one of the relics... at least i think they are. She grab's one and begins singing while posing. "I'm Queen of the castle, I'm Queen of the castle"
She's interrupted by the green kid yelling at her. "NORA!!" The green kid shouts. She just giggles and salutes before she responds.
"Coming Ren!"
Blake is still in disbelief and questions the situation. "Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?" Just then a red haired girl in gold armor runs in being chased by a massive scorpion. It try's to claw her but she dodges, and rolls back to running. Ruby gets up, and Yang notices. The two try to hug but then the girl called Nora interrupted them. Blake is questioning Warrior Princess. "Did she just run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?" while Yang looks like she's gonna lose it... and then she does. Her hair bursts on fire while her violet eyes turning red.
"I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?" At this Ren, Nora, Blake, Ruby, Rex, Crimson, Yang and Anakin all just sit and chill for exactly two seconds. Ruby then starts talking.
"Um, Yang?" she asked pointing to Ice Queen, who Anakin and Ruby momentarily forgot was still up there. Yang looks disappointed while Blake looks concerned. "I said 'jump'..." Ruby says.
"She's gonna fall." Blake informs.
"She'll be fine." Ruby assures.
"She's falling." Ren states.
While falling the blond haired kid jumps in and catches her mid air, but it doesn't help much. Anakin decides catch them both with the force and lightly place them down. Warrior Princess still being chased by the now named Deathstalker, gets smacked by its claw launching her to which she lands in front of everyone. At the same time a blond haired girl with tomahawks fell from the sky landing on the Warrior Princess while Yang comments on the event. "Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!
"Not if I can help it!" Ruby and Anakin say in Unison. Ruby and Him look to each other and nod. Anakin can tell she plans to go after the Deathstalker. She rushes at it and gets knocked back. He dose the same, and the Deathstalker try's to claw him with its left but Anakin slash's it off while dodging the right. The Deathstalker shrieks in pain and try's to strike Anakin with its tail. He dodges and looks to Ruby who is retreating as Anakin notices massive feathers plunge into the ground, one pinning her by her cape. In Anakin's distraction the Death stalker smacks him back to the others. Getting up he looks to see that he is back at the temple, and Yang is running to Ruby. The Deathstalker standing over her ready to strike. Everyone see's a flash of white run passed as the creature goes to strike only for its tail to be stuck in ice. The bird passes by while Ruby, Yang, and the Ice Queen come back
"Guys, that thing's circling back." the Blond Kid named Jaune says pointing to the bird.
"Its not alone." Crimson adds pointing out a second one.
"Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us." Ice Queen states gesturing to the... Chess pieces?
Ruby comes in and continues. "She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make in back to the cliff. there's no point in fighting these things."
"Live to fight another day. Love it." Rex states
"Defiantly an idea I can get behind" Adds the Blond Kid
They all begin to grab pieces. Crimson and Anakin grab one Black knight piece while Rex and his teammate grab the other. Ruby grabs the white knight, and Jaune grabs a white rook.
After they grabbed their relics the Deathstalker was starting to get free.
"Time to go." Lilly announces. Ruby agrees and takes point, leading the group out of there. After a bit of running they reach some even bigger ruins, in a clearing with a massive ravine while the two bird Grimm fly passed. One landing on a bridge that connects to the massive ruin over the ravine. The other landing on the building itself. Everyone takes cover before proceeding as the Grimm birds roar at the group. They also notice the one clawed Deathstalker bursting through the tree's
"Aw man! Run!" Rex yells.
Everyone then starts to run in the direction of the two birds. The girl called Nora runs to the open along with Anakin, dodging the massive feathers launched by the birds. Ren, Crimson, and Blake stay hidden while Nora begins using her grenade launcher to fire upon the two birds while Anakin's attention is on the Deathstalker. The birds fly off and the Deathstalker closes in on Nora. Anakin stands there waiting as Blake and Ren stun the Deathstalker giving Anakin an opening, which he takes by stabbing strait through the Grimm's head Killing it.
After he killed the Deathstalker Nora, Ren, Blake, and Anakin began running to the ruins, aside from Crimson who stayed back. The second bird begins following the four as it shoots more feathers at them. Luckily they were ably to get through unscathed, finally reaching the bridge, and regrouping with the others. The group begins running to cross the bridge while the second bird smashed right through causing the everyone to get separated. Weiss, Ruby, Jaune, Yang, Nora, Lilly, and Anakin are on the side closest to the cliff, while Rex, Warrior Princess, Ren and Blake are on the other. The Deathstalker Anakin thought he had killed was running over with Crimson standing on its head. While Anakin watched this his thoughts are interrupted as Nora launches Jaune over to the other group, followed by herself. The first bird lands in front of the other group not paying attention to the Deathstalker. Anakin decides that they can handle it, and that he should focus on helping Ruby, Yang, Lilly, and Weiss.
With the other group, the six are attacking the Bird Grimm while dodging it's beak and wings. Nora brings her hammer down on Pyrrha's shield launching herself up to the sky. When she comes back down she slam's it into one of its wings causing it to go limp. Rex cheers along with Jaune, but that's halted when it goes to use its other wing to sweep everyone off. Rex shields his eyes, waiting for the impending doom... but it doesn't come. He looks up to see the wing halted by a Deathstalker tail. Looking over the group can see the Deathstalker Anakin stabbed. But I thought Anakin killed it? Rex thought. It uses its claw to grab the bird Grimm's neck while it reels back its tail, and thrust's it thought the bird's chest killing it. Crimson climbs down from the Deathstalker and it goes limp again, starting to disintegrate with the bird.
Pyrrha is the first to comment while the group just looks at Crimson in awe. "Well that's our job done."
Anakin hurry's over to Ruby as Yang jumps into the mouth of the bird, making sure she doesn't get eaten. She begins blasting rockets down its throat before jumping out landing on one of the pillars.
"Anakin!" Ruby's voice calls. He turns to see Ruby "Any ideas?!"
"Yeah!" Anakin smirks "We got to get it grounded, then Weiss can freeze it!"
"I can get it grounded." Lilly says. Anakin turns to see Rex's teammate and nods to her.
"Alright! Ruby when its grounded I'm launching you with your scythe at it, with your speed do you think you can scale the cliff?" Anakin asks.
"I can," Ruby answers. "I'll just need Weiss to use her Glyph's!"
"Well, spread the word!" Anakin turns to Rex's teammate to speak but she cuts him off.
"Lilly"
"Huh"
"That's my name"
"Oh," Anakin blinks in surprise. "Thank you. Lilly, do what you can. I'll get in position."
"Right!"
As they prepare, Yang was distracting it. Once she noticed the group was ready she brought it over to Lilly. Lilly shot water out from her hand and moved it as if she was using the Force. The water wrapped around the bird, constricting it like a snake. It fell in front of the cliff's wall, and she released it. It got up to fly away, but Weiss pinned it by freezing the tail. Anakin ran over to his position as Ruby followed. He begin to charge a Force Push, while Weiss ran back to them. Once she was ready Anakin looked to Ruby. "You ready?" As a response she readies her weapon.
"Lets do, this"
Anakin launches her forward to the bird at blinding speed. When she got to the wall with the birds neck caught in the scythe's blade, A line of Weiss' Glyph's appeared going up to the top of the cliff. Ruby used them with her speed to run up the cliff dragging the bird until she reached the top. Once there she had to use the recoil of her gun function in her scythe to decapitate the bird landing on the cliff's edge. The bird's body then began to fall and disintegrate.
"Well. That was a thing." Yang states getting a chuckle from Anakin.
