As they stood in the darkness, the sound of the mechanical breathing aperatis Piercing through the silence. Rex and Lilly get back to back searching the room. Looking for the Sith Lord.
"Rex." Says the voice of Vader. "You should have kept out of the way."
"Yeah, well I've got a habit of being a thorn in your side Vader. I'm guessing the galactic basic writing was your doing?"
"No." Vader answers. This surprised Rex. It wasn't him? Well if it wasn't him then who was it? Dooku? No. He may be hell bent on revenge right now, but that kind of thing isn't his style.
Lilly grabs hold of the pouch of water at her side, popping of the cap. The sound of a snapping hiss catches their attention to illuminating crimson blade.
"If you two surrender, her Eminence May show you mercy."
"Sorry, not happening!" Lilly shouts as Rex fires off a flurry of rounds all deflected away by Vader with ease.
"Then you will die." Vader says.
Back at beacon, Weiss, Blake, and Pyrrha with some help from Juane search for leads on the school computers.
"Uhg," Blake starts. "This isn't getting us anywhere!"
"I agree." Weiss sighs as Pyrrha pats her shoulder.
"It's alright, we just have to find leads in a different way." Pyrrha says optimistically.
Weiss and Blake nod in disappointment. The four then walk back over to their teammates to give the bad news. Meanwhile back at the CCT R2 stays hidden trying to fix the lights as a battle starts between Rex, Lilly, and Vader.
Rex runs to left relentlessly blasting at Vader keeping the Sith Lord's attention while Lilly went to the right. She used her semblance to manipulate the water in her pouch, whipping it at Vader's back while he is distracted causing the Sith to grunt in pain. He then lifts his left hand as if holding a tea cup while deflecting blaster bolts. Lilly is quickly lifted off the ground as she can feel the invisible hands choking her. In an act of quick thinking she shakily uses her semblance to move the water under the Sith's left hand, before launching it upwards in a thin sharp wave effectively slicing the hand off. That act causes Vader to cry out, and for Lilly to be released. This also allowed an opening for Rex to shoot at the Sith, but the bolt only grazed the domed helmet. In all his fury Vader uses the force to create a repulse, sending Rex and Lilly into the walls.
Just then the lights to the room were on thanks to the efforts of R2. Noticing this, Vader taps a piece on what remains of his left arm. "Forth floor, pickup." He says before walking to the window and shattering it. Looking outside he can see a massive group of people in panic, and the Vale police entering the building. Running from the scene. Among the crowd a girl with dual colored hair looks up to the Sith and nods. Vader then throws a Scroll to the girl before walking back inside. The girl, after catching the scroll silently blends into the crowd while creating an illusion around her to change her appearance.
Once Vader got back inside Rex and Lilly were up ready to fight again. Vader ready's his Crimson Saber, but before he could do anything the elevator door opens and a squad of the Vale Police aim their guns at Vader.
"Surrender!" One officer says. "Your surrounded!"
"It won't matter." Vader says. He readies to charge, but stops as his body violently shakes while electricity engulfs his body. With Vader falling to the ground everyone in the room sees R2 was the one to defeat the Sith. A black smoke engulfs Vader's body as he reverts back to Anakin though one thing has changed. His left hand is missing. It takes a few seconds, but blood slowly begins to seep through the stub that is now Anakin's left arm.
Rex and Lilly quickly rush over to his aid while the police holster their weapons. Back in downtown Vale Crimson and Penny talk while walking down the sidewalk.
"... and that's how Rex and Lilly almost blew up our dorm." Crimson says, finishing a story. Penny laughs.
"Why didn't they try to use ice dust to freeze it?" Penny says while still giggling from the story.
"THAT'S WHAT I SAID!" Crimson yells making Penny laugh even harder. As they continue they see an ambulance pass them by with police cars following bringing Penny's laughter to a halt.
"Where do you think their going?" Penny asks.
"By the direction, I'd say Valor Memorial Hospital." Crimson answers.
"I hope whoever's hurt will be okay." Penny says. Back at Beacon teams RWBY and JNPR make a plan.
"Alright!" Ruby says excitedly, throwing her arms in the air. "What's the plan?"
"Well you, Pyrrha and I should check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem."
"Oh! We can do that at the CCT!" Ruby shouts.
"Why? We could easily get it at one of the computers here at School." Weiss notes.
"Because it will be fun!" Ruby replies.
"It would be nice to see." Pyrrha adds. "I haven't had an opportunity to see it in person yet."
"See. Even Pyrrha's with me." Ruby retorts. Weiss hangs her head in defeat and sighs.
"Fine." She looks back up and looks to the others. "So what about them?"
"Well," Blake starts. "There's an old meeting place for the white fang. I can go their and get information if they still use it."
"Well who's gonna go with you?" Pyrrha asks. At those words Ren and Nora look over to Jaune.
"I should go by myself seeing as non of you are Faunus." Blake says.
"Welllll," Nora says while. "We could use that new makeup kit I bought for Halloween to make Jaune look like a Faunus."
"Yeahhhh, Wait, what? Why me?" Jaune asks.
"Oh don't be a baby." Nora says as she grabs Jaune by the hoodie preparing to leave.
"Wait." Ren says. "Nora, we have to do this tomorrow, it's already getting late, and the flights to the school stop in an hour."
"Oh."
"Also," Blake starts. "Ren how convincing do you think it will be?"
"With Nora doing it? No one will suspect a thing. She is surprisingly good at using makeup."
"She is?" Blake asks one disbelief.
"Yes, though she only really uses that talent for pranks or Halloween." Ren sighs .
Meanwhile out in a palace in darkend lands overlooking the Grimm Pools, Salem sits on her throne in thought. Her thoughts are interrupted by the door to the room opening. From the door Watts enters.
"Watts." Salem raises and eyebrow as she lifts a hand to play with a strand of her hair. "I trust that you came here with news."
"Good, and bad I'm afraid." The man bows in respect with a solemn look on his face.
"Let's start with the bad." Salem stood up from her throne as she made her way to the window overlooking the Grimm pools.
"Lord Vader was captured, and forced back to his, other state." Salem's face frowned upon those words.
"I see, did he at least complete his mission." Salem asks, turning slightly to look at Watts for his answer.
"Yes ma'am, he uploaded the virus, and took care of those Huntsman that were hiding in the white fangs ranks."
"I see. What about the good news." Salem ask as she gets up from her chair.
"Our, guest was sent out on a... test run if you will. He is ready, and preparing to aid the infiltration team." Watts says. Salem's face goes to one of concern.
"Are preparations made to hide his appearance?"
"Yes ma'am, Roman's little friend with help from miss Sustrai will make sure no one will know who he is."
With those words, Salem's expression turns to complete joy. "Perfect."
