Crimson sits on the edge of the docks looking out to the ocean. He grits his teeth as his mind flares with pain. Holding his head Crimson opens his eyes and standing up. Once the pain fades he makes his way through downtown to the entrance gate to the kingdom. He shows proper identification and reluctantly the guards let him leave. Crimson wasn't sure how long he walked after that all he knew was that he eventually stopped in front of a tree with a four painted star symbol burned into it.

Crimson could feel his body moving though he couldn't think of why. He fell to his knees and began digging. He pondered why he was digging though it didn't take long to get an answer as his nails scraped against something metal. A few seconds later he unearthed the object revealing it to be cylindrical with an intricate design that just felt right in his hand. Like it was meant to be there. He stares for a moment before Crimson's vision blacked out.

One Days Later

Anakin wakes up with a headache. He wasn't sure what was causing it though he ignored it as he got ready in for the morning. Looking between his teammates he noted that only Rex seemed to be sleeping peacefully. An odd sight considering. Lilly was tossing and turning muttering in her sleep though Crimson was curled up into a ball on his bed shaking. Curious about Lilly's muttering Anakin stepped closer listening.

"I had too do it. I had too do it. Why did I do it? Why?" Her ramblings confused Anakin more. What in the Corellian Hells was she muttering about? "Please forgive me." Anakin decided he didn't want to invade her privacy any further so he backed away, but he did want to ask her about this later.

A couple hours later and the team was sitting at a table across from the newly formed Team ASSN. Teams RWBY and JNPR were at the table two with Blake sitting next to Anakin. Everyone was chatting except for Crimson and Anakin. Anakin decided to simply listen to the various conversations with amusement giving glances to Blake who would in turn do the same. Suffice to say the two were entertained by the ridiculous debate that had started.

"And that's why I believe Water is wet." Nora finishes.

Weiss looked like she was going to pop a blood vessel. "Nora that's not even possible." The Heiress states.

Rex sighs. "Is this really that much of an issue." He asks.

"Yes it is!" Weiss assures. "It isn't scientific!"

Anakin looks to Ren who also seemed to be enjoying the entertaining argument. "Science Smience." Nora says. "I mean seriously after everything we learned in the past year I think Science has REALLY gone out the window."

Weiss made several attempts to argue with nothing to use before pouting and dropping her head onto the table tearing up at the unfortunate truth. "Why can't things make sense?" She whines.

Ruby pats Weiss' back lightly supporting her friend as Nora giggles happy that she won the argument. "Well that was a interesting fifteen minutes." Anakin says with a chuckle.

"Hey Anakin?" Lilly questions. Anakin looked to his teammate with interest.

"What's up?"

"The ceiling!" Yang shouts earning a few giggles from the table.

"Very funny Yang." Anakin says dryly before turning his attention back to Lilly. "What's your question?"

"Do you..." She hesitates to continue. "Do you know anyone named Revan?"

"Revan?" Anakin was startled by the question. "Why?"

"I just.. I've been having dreams and..."

"Salutations!" Penny's voice greets startling everyone at the table.

"Penny!" Ruby gives their robotic friend a hug to which she instantly regrets as Penny excitedly returns the gesture leaving Ruby unable to breathe for a moment. Though the hug was cut short as Penny gave her friends a worried look.

"I'm sorry but is was wondering if any of you could help me?" Penny asks.

Anakin frowns giving Lilly a glance before deciding the conversation about Revan could be discussed later. Preferably in the dorm where other teams wouldn't overhear them. "Sure." Anakin says. "What do you need?"

Penny gains a saddened expression as she speaks. "It's one of my teammates. Her name is Ciel Soleil. She left for Vale yesterday but she hasn't come back." Penny then pulls out her scroll showcasing a picture of the girl.

"You want help finding her?" Rex asks.

Penny nods. "Yes very much. I hope I'm not asking too much."

Anakin waves her off. "It's not a problem at all." He assures. "We got time."

"Oh that is sensational! Thank you so very much." Penny says excitedly before turning to Crimson. He gives a kind wave and Penny giggles giving him a kiss to the cheek befo walking away.

Anakin gave the man a raised eyebrow. "Don't give me that look." Crimson says. "You were already aware that Penny and I were in a relationship."

Anakin shrugs. "Sorry it's still weird." He says. Crimson rolls his eyes.

"Umm guys?" Blake starts earning the groups attention. She was holding up her scroll which was on a news broadcast. Anakin leans closer as dose almost everyone at the table. She then turns up the volume allowing Lisa Lavender's voice to be heard.

"-local police has issued a warning to citizens to be on the lookout for this killer. The four Victims have been identified Two of which were Training at Huntsman Academies from other Kingdoms. The first victim being Mercury Black. A student from Haven who was shot dead at a tea shop yesterday. The other however, a young girl named Ciel Soleil hailing from Atlas was found early this morning in an ally way with the other two victims in a gruesome scene where they were apparently eaten. Vale police believe this second incident to be unrelated to the first, and have asked local Huntsman to search the City for a possible Grimm that got in. How this could happen has yet to be stated."

Anakin looked to the group in concern. Now they knew what happened to Ciel, but how were they going to tell Penny?

Admiral Thrawn stands between Ozpin and Ironwood with a frown etched onto his features. Ironwood was glaring at the screen while Ozpin closed his eyes not liking what the News had been explaining.

"This..." Thrawn starts. "Complicates maters."

"Yes it does." Ironwood agrees. "Now what do we do?"

Ozpin sighs. "Emerald Sustrai and her teammates have requested to leave to bury their friend." The headmaster states.

Thrawn scowls. "And of course we can't deny them that." He says. "If we do then we'll be under more scrutiny from the Vale Council."

"What do we do then?" Ironwood asks in exasperation.

Thrawn ponders the information before him. "The first victim Mercury Black." He turns to Ironwood. "Do you think we could get an autopsy report?"

Ironwood frowns. "Sure. That shouldn't be too hard. What are thinking."

"Both kills we're not considered normal. Mercury Black's wound was a gunshot, but if he is a huntsman in training his aura should have protected him." Thrawn explains. "As for the second... I'm not quite sure. That one's not adding up. Ciel is a member of Penny Polendina's... team." Thrawn's eyes narrow into slits. "If these incidents can be related it could mean that They killed one of their own and killed someone else training at an academy to throw us off, yet that would also imply that they don't know about Penny's origins which I'm certain they do. Something isn't right here." Thrawn paces for a moment before stopping putting a hand to his chin. "I think theirs a third party involved somewhere."

"Okay, but if that's the case which one is our main enemy, and which one is the unknown?" Ironwood asks.

"I believe the incident with Miss Ciel is our third party." Ozpin states.

Thrawn nods. "Yes... yes I'm inclined to agree." Thrawn then turns to Ozpin with a concerned look. "Now we must figure out which one is the more immediate threat and focus on that one."

"That would Salem obviously." Ironwood states.

"No." Ozpin denys. "We can't make that assumption. This new threat could prove more active and dangerous. Salem have been playing a long game from which we know not how to play, but this new threat has made its intentions clear."

Thrawn nods. "Yes. This new threat is out for blood and blood alone." Thrawn agrees.

Later that night A club in Vale called Junior's was getting pretty good Business. Junior Xiong was glad too. After Blondie destroyed it months ago and the worry of her crazy eyed ginger friend he was worried if he'd ever be able to open up shop again. It was thanks to Lil' Miss Malachite that he could. The woman spent a good amount of Lien to get Junior's club back up. Now however his place had to be a go between for the Mitralie Crime Bosses less than legal imports. Lil' Miss assured him that he would be compensated at least.

Junior looked to the twins dancing in the crowded dance floor frowning. The twins were Melanie and Miltades Malachite. Lil' Miss's brats. They more often than not just did what they wanted when they weren't busy helping their mother transport goods into and out of Vale. Sighing to himself Junior had one of his personal men man the bar. He needed some air. Walking to the front entrance to the club he slides the doors open stoping when he saw five silhouettes standing before him. The darkness kept their appearance obscured as Junior steps aside.

"Sorry folks come on in." Junior says hiding his annoyance with a nervous smile.

The figures made no attempt to speak to him though they did enter with all but one continuing to the main floor. Junior watched the four leaving before noticing a familiar blue beret on black hair with an off white button down shirt that seemed to be stained red, and a blue combat skirt.

'Ciel Soleil?' Junior thought before shaking his head deciding it was impossible. That's when he looked to the fifth figure who had stayed behind. Juniors eyes widened with horror as lights danced around the room briefly giving Junior a hood look at the fifth figure. His eyes were clouded almost pale. His skin looked to be greying. With silver colored hair and wearing a gray and black partial zip jacket with a cauterized hole in the chest going all the way through the skinny man's body. This man was Mercury Black.

"What in the fu-" Junior didn't get to finish his sentence as the sound of a lightsaber ignited and the crowd started screaming. With a quick glance Junior saw a figure in a black cloak slash and person with a crimson red blade before turning his attention back to see Mercury lunge at him. Junior kicks the man back only for him to stumble back up grinning evilly.

"Hunger." Mercury says in a rough voice. "We hunger."
