Years Ago, Atlas

Maul couldn't remember his last words, but he knew he had been at peace. Drifting within an empty black void he could hear the distant sounds and voices. The sounds of duels between light and dark. The voices of those oh so many victims. Soon he felt his back lay gently against the cold surface of snow. Opening his eyes he saw the little snowflakes falling from the beautiful view of the stars along with the odd shattered moon. That's when he felt someone grab his shoulder. Under normal circumstances Maul would've grabbed the one to touch him, but as of now he felt exhausted. Too exhausted to move. Too exhausted to care.

His glowing orange eyes look over before widening upon seeing those amber eyes looking back at him. Eyes that came from one face he could recognize anywhere even if they seemed far younger now and seemed to look different as well. The figure in front of him was undoubtedly Savage Opress. Mauls brother that had been lost for so long. Killed by his old Master Darth Sidious.

Maul could feel Savage's presence in the force completely and undeniably. His mind was in confusion though as Savage had pale skin and brown hair growing around his horns. The tattoo's were also missing. Savage said nothing as he helped Maul to sit up. Upon looking at his own hands Maul frowns noticing his skin was the same pale shade as Savage. Feeling his head he also felt the short hair he had as well.

After a moment Maul spoke. "Savage? What... where are we?" He asked frowning as he noticed his voice sounded much younger.

"Another world brother." Savage stated. "The locals call it Remnant."

"How did we get here?" Maul asked. "And why do we seem younger, and different?"

Savage shook his head. "I do not know Brother. What I do know is that the city before us is called Atlas, and that we are apparently considered members of the planet's local species called Faunus."

"How did you learn all of this?" Maul asked

"The Faunus I've met explained it to me when I woke up next to you in one of the planets Mines." Savage grimaced. "I saw a human branding a Faunus child on the face as a punishment for something. I didn't stay to find out what."

"You presumably grabbed me and carried or dragged me out of there before I woke up." Maul said putting the pieces together.

"Carried. And yes." Savage confirmed.

Present Day, Vale

Maul sits in a chair within a room of the warehouse looking at his red and black tattooed hand. In the room with him are Dooku and Savage, both of whom hold concerned expressions. "You have both felt it." Maul states.

Dooku nods. "Yes. This new presence within Vale." Dooku agrees. "It's Dark. Darker than I've ever felt."

"What could cause this?" Savage asks.

Maul shutters. "Could it be... Sidious?" He ponders.

"No." Dooku denys quickly. "Even his presence wasn't this dark. This presence it's feral... and hungry. I would think it possible to be Darth Nihilus of the old times, but based on what i know from old Sith Holocron's I know it's not him."

"How so?" Savage asks.

"Nihilus was considered a Wound In The Force, yes?" Maul asks seeking confirmation.

"Your knowledge serves you well." Dooku states. "Yes, and the Jedi spent many years studying him after his death supposedly at the hands of some Jedi Exile."

"This history was far to scattered to get a clear picture of those times. At least for me." Maul admits.

Dooku nods. "Yes. The same was true for me. Much from those times were lost."

"If it's not him then who?" Savage asks annoyed by the two's unclear words.

"It is something darker than Sidious, but not as dark as Nihilus." Maul explains. He turns to Dooku. "Do you have any guesses?"

Dooku frowns. "No. No I do not." Dooku admits. "I will meditate on this. For now do what you will. We shall not act any further until we know what this presence is."

Maul nods. "Yes. That would be the wisest move." Maul admits. "I shall tell the others."

Present, Beacon Academy

Lilly tosses and turns before opening her eyes to familiar sounds and smells that are yet also unfamiliar. She feels as if she had once been here in this place a vary long time ago. Her surroundings were filled with the view of beautiful grasslands and even a lake off in the distance. Turning around she saw a large aircraft of some kind. It was white with its three prongs that made up the bow accented in red. Lilly found herself thinking the ship looked oddly like the letter E. There was a ramp to go up into the ship but Lilly wasn't sure if she should enter.

Soon however a strange robot descended from the ramp. He was a rusty red color with two glowing yellow eyes. On his back was a large sniper rifle, and on his hips were two pistol's. The robot itself was an odd design to Lilly though what surprised her most was the feeling she knew it.

"Query: Are you well Master? You've been standing out here for quite a while." The robot states.

Lilly was taken aback. "Umm I'm alright I guess." She says.

"Observation: You seem surprised by my appearance." The Robot says. "Oh Master acting as if you don't recall me. Once again you show me new forms of cruelty for my Photoreceptors to record."

Lilly raises an eyebrow. "Right." She says plainly still confused about the situation.

"Suggestion: You really should meet with your guest Master. He is currently waiting for you in the main hold by the Navigation Computer." The robot informs. "Confession: I do not understand why you choose to allow this Meatbag on the ship Master."

Lilly frowns. "I'm sure I had a reason." She mutters. Walking past the robot and into the ship. She quickly found the 'guest'. He was in a black robe which covered any distinct features aside from his eyes which shone through the darkness of his hood. His left eye was brown but his right eye was purely white. She could feel in her soul that the man was amused when she entered the room.

"An interesting choice of scenery." The man says. "The Ebon Hawk landed, overlooking a view of one of Dantooine's lakes. Then theirs that droid companion of yours."

Lilly study's the man walking to the other side of the nav computer. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?" She asks.

The man laughs. "You knew me once, but once again your memory is hazy." He explains vaguely. "Your mind is conflicting between what you know, and what you knew. Your past as a girl from the village of Kaiyome, and your true self that has laid dormant and forgotten."

Lilly folds her arms scowling. "Are you going to keep beating around the bush, or are you going to tell me about my so called true self?" Lilly questions.

"I cannot tell you who you are." The man denies. "You must figure that out on your own. I can however help you in other ways."

"Such as?" Lilly asks suspiciously.

"A grave threat has awakened on Remnant." The man explains. "One that should not have been their in the first place. Tread carefully for the threat is far closer to you than you might think."

Years Ago, Atlas

The brothers Mail and Savage trudge through the winter snow. Ahead of them seemed to be an abandoned shack from which they planned to stay for the night. Behind them they could see the large floating city of Atlas and the city below it called Mantle. The winter tundra of the Solitas Continent would not let the snow die down. Soon the brothers shove the shacks door open and freeze in there tracks when they find two blades pointed at them. The source was a young girl with black hair and amber eyes. She was wearing a uniform of some kind. It was white with dirt seemingly stuck to it. Maul could only assume the girl to be a teenager much like his brother and himself seemed to be at the moment.

When she saw that a the brothers didn't seem much of a threat she lowered her blades. "Your not Huntsman." She said evenly.

Maul frowned. "I'm unaware as to what a Huntsman is, to you."

The girl glares though Maul knew it wasn't aimed at him. "There suppose to be hero's. Supposed to save people, but they don't, and people like me have to suffer because of it." The girl explained bitterly as tears welled up in her eyes. She wiped them away before gesturing to enter the shack. "You'll freeze if you stay out there. I don't have food, but I don't plan to stay either."

Maul and Savage nod before entering while the girl closed the door. "My name is Maul, and this is my... brother Savage."

The girl frowned at the names but introduced herself in return. "My name is Cinder."
