Lyle knew that his father and Ice's father were great friends since they were pups. So he thought things between him and Ice were never might to be. Friends can't date or have feelings for another team mate. After seeing Zeus and Raven together then his sister and MJ together. Chris was now out of the hospital but still in trouble for sneaking out. After that he realized that you can date another teammate. Main part was how he asked Ice out. She is the daughter of Duke and Crystal. Will he be part of a criminal family as well just like his cousin Raven. Now Zeus and Raven can go to Barkingburg to visit them anytime they want to. Just not for missions. He has to find a way to do so. The only ones that know are Nate, Steven and Atlas. Lyle was heading to the police station to visit Nate. Steven and Atlas had something to do but will catch up once they're done. At the police station it was very loud since there were five pups living there now. Nate was laying down with his little niece. That little one with beautiful brown fur with a black dot on her forehead was so quiet that no one believed she was the daughter of Jupitar and Kevin. She loves her Uncle Nate.

"Hey Nate. I see you are busy today." Lyle said, walking towards him.

"What's up? I'm not on babysitting duty today. It's Calvin's turn until Kevin comes back. He's with Jupitar, they are getting something for these pups. Right Pearl?" Nate said, looking at his niece. She nodded her head. "What's on your mind or do you want to head outside and chat?"

"Outside." Nate nodded.

"Yo Calvin. I have Pearl with me."

"She doesn't have a collar."

"Where have you been? Officer Jackson. "The police ninja pup collars came in today." So Nate went outside with Lyle and Pearl.

"So what's on your mind Lyle?" Asked Nate.

"I'm trying to find a way to…" Lyle started.

"Ask Ice on a date."

"Yes. I don't know what to do."

"I would ask Chris but that's not going to help you. Asking a younger sibling wouldn't do you any good. I'm not going to be much help. I'm still trying to get Sasha on a date with me. Her brothers are making this hard."

"I know. I tried to get him to relax but that didn't work. You would think MJ dating Chris was going to help." Lyle smiled knowing he's no better.

"I say get her alone when no one's around." Atlas said as he walked up to them. "She's always with Briana, Olivia and Riley. So find a way to get her. Ask her about the gift for Uncle Zuma and Auntie Azul for their wedding anniversary." said Steven. As he ran to them.

"I forgot we are still working on that. All the missions that we were getting postponed the whole event." Said Nate. "Me and my brothers have been working on it. Now with the pups it has gotten harder. Jupitar was doing the same thing with her siblings."

"So hopefully you asking Ice out doesn't end up as a mission or puppies." Atlas said. "So far that's been happening. Two missions and five pups." The boys laughed.

"Come on Lyle, we have to head back to the Lookout." Steven said, starting to walk away.

"Right."

"See you later Nate. Bye Pearl."

"See y'all later." Nate said. Pearl waved at them. At the Lookout, Ice was working on a painting. Lyle walked in.

"Hi, Ice. That looks beautiful."

"No one is supposed to see." She said then covered it.

"Sorry about that. I wanted to ask you something." Her ears went up. "I wanted to see if you would like to go to a concert later today."

"You mean like a date?"

"If you want to call it that." Then out of nowhere Ice jumped on him. "Ice what are you doing?"

"I would love to." Her nose touched his and got up.

"Did you have to do that?"

"I don't see why not. You like it when I do so. Your face says it or you want me to do something else." She got close to Lyle.

"Okay okay okay. I understand." So later that day they went to the concert and had dinner after that. They went to the Lookout and noticed everyone was fast asleep. So they headed to bed. The next day in the morning, Ice had some training to do. Lyle was still sleeping until he heard Ice's cousin Storm yelling at Stan. Ever since they broke up it got louder at the Lookout and he doesn't even live there anymore. He came to see his family, not her. Since that woke him up he went to go see training and had to work with his mom. After some training and flying tricks he went to look for Ice. Ice just got back from the hospital. One of the nurses called her in. A nurse was sick and called off so Ice covered took her spot. Ice saw Lyle walking to her so she got up and smiled. Lyle just got her by the collar and took her inside to the boys room and had her relax there.

"It's more quiet here than outside. Storm is at it again." Lyle said as he laid next to her.

"I heard. She just misses him. If she's not with her friends in Adventure City or the ones at Auntie Wendy's family then she has nothing to do."

"I know but…"

"We all know that it was both of their fault. I think they know as well."

"No more talking, just relax Ice. Your paws hurt and I know that. I will get you some ice."

"You don't have to." He walked closer to her and put his forehead on hers.

"I want to. So I will be right back." Ice was red in the face when he did that and started to giggle. He left and hid against the wall.

"Why did I do that?" Lyle questioned himself. "I must be losing my mind or something. He looked back in the room and saw Ice on her back looking at the ceiling. Ice moved her head towards the door and spotted him. She started to giggle some more. Lyle moved away from the door. Riley saw him and sneaked up.

"Hi Lyle." She said.

"Hey Riley." he said as he turned around.

"Thinking about Ice. Be yourself and things will go smoothly."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because the only thing she does is talk about you. Girl chat. Trust me on this one. Her mind is on you and it's sweet." Lyle moved his head towards the door. "I know you like her a lot."

"I will think of something." He walked away from Riley. In his head, Lyle was thinking about what Riley said. "I don't know. I really don't."

"About what?"

"What is with people sneaking up on me today?"

"Sorry Lyle." said Ryan who had Sebastian next to her. She stayed after that night. "So what's on your mind." Sebastian sat down next to Lyle. Ryan sat down but it wasn't working since Sebastian was sleeping on her.

"It's just what I want… I don't know how to put it."

"Lyle being shy," said Sebastian. Lyle smiled and licked his face.

"Thinking about Ice. You don't need any help with that. You are doing a perfect job. Caring, soft and loving that you are towards her is all that you need."

"Thanks Ryan. I see why both teams talk to you a lot."

"Any time Lyle." She said as she got up. Lyle laughed and ran off. Lyle went to get the ice but was still thinking then he heard giggling. He knew that it wasn't Ice so it must have come from someone else but who. He turned the corner and saw Ice's parents, Duke and Crystal. He saw how happy they are with one another. It was amazing. Then remember that he still had to get some ice. He went to the kitchen and got what he needed and also a snack for the both of them. Ran back to the room where she was at. Once he got back Ice was fast asleep. Lyle put the ice and the snacks down by her paws and was about to leave. She woke up from the cold bag on her paws.

"Lyle."

"What's up?" He looked at her. Lyle has the same color eyes as his mother. He didn't like it at first but Ice was the first one who loved the color.

"Can you stay with me please?" She used her adorable puppy eyes on him.

"Sure." So he sat next to her until Ice moved her fore legs. Knocked him down right on top of her. "Really? Besides, I think it's the other way." Ice looked lost. "I will show you." So he moved her so that she was on top of him. Ice was getting red. "That's what you get for doing that."

"Okay okay. I will try and not do it again." Ice got off of him but Lyle kissed her before she got up. "Surprise attack I see or is this a way for you to tell me something."

"Maybe" Ice rolled off him and landed on her side.

"Silly." She giggled at him. Then rubbed her head against his and like his cheek. Ice realized what she did and backed up. "Sorry about that. I didn't…"

"Yes you did. I don't mind to be honest with you." He moved his body so that he could face her. Ice's face was getting red because of what she did. "*sigh* What am I going to do with you?"

"What do you mean Lyle?"

"This." Lyle leaned towards Ice and licked and kissed her cheek. Ice pushed him away then hid her face. "I know you liked that one. Double shot." While he was laughing Ice jumped on him and they rolled to the other side of the room. Ice was back on top of him. In the position they just looked at each other and just smiled. They rubbed their noses against each other and Ice fell off. Lyle looked at her wondering what was wrong. Ice got as close to him as possible. Lyle realized what she was doing and put his arm around her. Ice's face was right into his chest and they both fell asleep.

"I love you too Ice."
