So, I have watched all seven (English versions) of the Ugly Ducking movies by Neptuno Films; and I'm going to be talking about the series as a whole.

Let's start off with the animation and voice acting. At times, the animation recycles certain shots either from the same movie or another one entirely during certain moments. As for the voice acting, most of the time it's fine, but there is one scene in the "Enchanted Forest" film where the voice acting was... bad. When the title character is talking to his love interest, there was a moment where the voice acting sounded like he was just reading the words.

Also, if you watch any of the movies, you'd notice that the audio doesn't match the lip-syncing, and some of the sound effects are even louder than the dialogue. Maybe it's because the films are foreign and dubbed. There are also Spanish versions of the films on the internet.

Let's move onto the characters. First and foremost, the title character "Ugly" (yes, that's what he's actually called in the movies) isn't really ugly. I mean, he does look different from the ducklings, but maybe that's because he's a swan not a duck. Maybe the story should've been called the ugly swan-ling. Nico seems to be the well-meaning friend of the main character, Patty is an interesting character and love interest as she apparently does shows, Apollo is quite obnoxious and Frope is just his wingman most of the time, and Weasel Boss is (or was before he redeemed) an interesting villain with Sneaky as his interesting lackey.

I first discovered these movies (mainly the Enchanted Forest one) when I searched up the Elm Chanted Forest. Between the Elm Chanted Forest and the Ugly Duckling Enchanted Forest film, there are things one of them has that the other doesn't have. Elm Chanted Forest only has two films, the first one having an English dub while the sequel not having an English dub. Meanwhile, the Ugly Duckling movies have seven movies. The Elm Chanted Forest came out in Croatia, the Ugly Duckling possibly came out in Spain. Elm Chanted Forest has "that" mushroom scene, the Ugly Duckling movies don't have any scene or depictions like that.

Overall, I am considering adding the characters from the Ugly Duckling movies to the Show Town stories someday. See ya next time.
