For this chapter, I will be talking about two OCs of mine: Hamister Nibbles, the assassin hamster with mutant hamster abilities, and Retnuh, the deadly toon-killer. I will be talking about them like a Death Battle post-analysis. Who is the deadlier villain? Hamister. Here's why.
With Hamister's assassin skills and Retnuh's determination, these two definitely make for deadly adversaries. Hamister has the advantage in speed and agility, especially with his abilities, but Retnuh can hold his own. His victories against the likes of Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner prove he is capable of keeping up with opponents faster than him.
Retnuh also has the durability advantage. He is capable of taking hits from experienced opponents while Hamister mainly relies on his speed to avoid taking too much damage.
Although, neither Hamister nor Retnuh have shown their greatest potential in terms of brute strength, even compared to the likes of King Rexton and Bugs Bunny. Retnuh also has the upper hand when it comes to weapon variety, especially his up-close and long-range weapons, but Hamister has counters for them. For example, Hamister is capable of slicing bullets fired at him from point-blank back-to-back. Retnuh also prefers to kill up close with either his knife, fists, or hands. Given Hamister's superior speed and long-range attacks, he is capable of fighting from a safe distance.
And while Retnuh does have a lot of impressive weaponry, most of (not all but most of) his weapons contain bits of the dip. Great against toons, not so much against non-toons. And Hamister is not a toon. Although Hamister's mutated Hamister form tipped the scales. Once Hamister becomes his mutated self, Retnuh's advantages hardly matter anymore.
Even without his base form, Hamister is debatably trickier. Retnuh does have knowledge on setting deadly traps, however, Retnuh often becomes so determined to complete one goal, he loses track of certain things. Given Hamister's knowledge and cunning, it's reasonable to believe that he could use that to his advantage. And it's important to note that while Retnuh is deadly, he can be, and has been beaten in battle, even by toons such as Granny and Marc Anthony, who Hamister could debatably outfox as well.
It's also worth noting that Retnuh is no toon. While he did use that toon elixir to turn himself into a toon in that story I did, it did take him some time to make, while Hamister always has soon of his mutant Hamster elixir on him. Since Hamister is faster than Retnuh, it's reasonable to believe that Hamister could prevent Retnuh from making that elixir before he could use it.
Retnuh is definitely as deadly as he can be, but Hamister superior speed, abilities, and cunning makes him the superior villain. If these two were to have a Death Battle, expect to see:
"The winner is Hamister Nibbles."
