Merry Christmas everyone! Enjoy! This was fun to write…

"Deck the halls with boughs of holly! Falalalalala! 'Tis the Season to be jolly! Falalalalala!"

"What are you looking at Raccoon eyes!"

"Nothing~"

It was the First-Year Christmas party and everyone was having a great time. They were singing Christmas carols, drinking cocoa, or watching old Christmas movies! As the two classes celebrated together, the usual rivalries occupied not a thought! On top of that, all the Hero students were dressed in red or green Santa Clause suits. But Katsuki Bakugo was not.

Mina and Kaminari would change that, they would not give in! Between their dogged bravery (plus a little peer pressure) they were sure to win!

The only ones missing from the party were Aizawa, who was coming soon with Eri, and Midoriya and Erma, who were getting ready. Mina didn't know what the wait was, after all, how long did it take to get into a Santa suit?

Finally Mina heard footsteps coming down the stairs. She bounded over to meet the two when-

"What the heck are you guys wearing?!"

Instead of Santa Claus suits, Midoriya and Erma were dressed in brown fur coats with goat horns sticking out the top and fake claws on the gloves! They looked like Halloween costumes, not Christmas!

Midoriya had the decency to look embarrassed as he scratched his cheek and said. "W-we're Krampus. Y-you see, Erma is um…not too fond of Santa but she likes Krampus so she wanted to dress like him and well…convinced me to do it too…"

"Krampus?!" Mina said.

"Krampus is the demon of Christmas who terrifies naughty children with the threat of dragging them away in its bag to their doom," said Yanagi.

Mina facepalmed. Of course. Of course the horror girl would go for something like that instead of Santa! Why did she ever think otherwise?!

"W-well," Midoriya said, "I'm just gonna go meet with the others."

He sheepishly slipped away toward Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida.

Erma on the other hand shamelessly strolled over to Yanagi and Tokage, quite content to be dressed up as a demon for Christmas. Mina was determined to get those two on theme! However, she needed to be smart.

Erma was a formidable opponent, possessing a strong will paired with a dizzying array of horror-themed powers. She wouldn't be easy to crack… On top of that, Mina also had other plans for them tonight too.

As Erma and Midoriya's groups drifted together, Mina patted the pocket where she hid her "secret weapon". She suppressed an evil grin.

After several more minutes of fun, the door opened and in came:

"It's Eri Clause!"

"Trick or…treat?"

"Sorry, wrong holiday."

Several members of Class A rushed to meet the adorable six-year-old, with Uraraka even sliding on her belly to get close. Eri was dressed in a red Santa outfit that looked so cute on her! She fit right in with the rest of them (unlike a certain pair Mina could mention)!

As they took in the cuteness, Eri threw salt into the air saying "Demons in, Demons out!" while Aizawa muttered "Now you're even further away…"

It was official, Eri was now Class 1-A's baby sister. Mina would take no arguments to the contrary.

Eri walked to Uraraka and reached into her pocket. "Here are some eggs I painted.

"That's Easter, but thanks!"

Mina rested her case.

"Hey Eri!" Mina said. "You want a drink?" Mina held out some delicious hot cocoa, which Eri sipped with a big smile, leaving a brown cocoa mustache on her lips.

"Thank you!" Eri glanced at Midoriya, then tilted her head with confusion. "What's that supposed to be Deku?"

"Oh! It's, um, Krampus. He's um…it's not important right now."

The students of Class A carried Eri over to the couch to play board games with her while others argued over the TV. At the same time, several of the students had gone to the kitchen and baking.

Mina's mouth began to water. So many delicious treats…

Mina felt a tugging at the hem of her coat. Looking down, she saw Eri who said, "Are we going to leave some cookies out for Santa?"

Mina gasped. So cute! She grinned at Eri and said, "That's a great idea! Sato! Help this adorable princess make cookies for Santa!"

"Hey, didn't Erma make some cookies last night?" Kaminari said.

"Yeah, she asked me for some supplies to make almond cookies," said Sato.

Kaminari opened the fridge and sure enough, Mina saw a plate of cookies dutifully wrapped with "For Santa, From Erma" written on a post-it note.

"You don't think she'd mind if I took one of you?" Kaminari said. Mina considered it then waved her hand, "Nah, it'll be fine!"

Maybe Mina should take one too-

Just as Kaminari was about to remove the wrapping, the plate of cookies flew from his grasp ainto the hands a very alarmed looking Erma, who raced up the stairs like Midoriya when there was All Might merch on sale. Moments later, she returned with an expression similar to Mina's when she avoided being caught late for class by Aizawa.

Erma glared at Kaminari, who wilted like a flower. "Sorry for taking your cookies?" he said.

"Yeah sorry," said Mina. "Didn't think you'd be so touchy about cookies for Santa…".

Next to Erma, Midoriya raised an eyebrow. "Ashido, what kind of cookies were they again?"

Erma began to look very uncomfortable.

"Almond," Mina said. "Why?"

Midoriya pinched the bridge of his nose, "Really Erma? Again?"

Erma shrugged with a sheepish grin.

Mina couldn't help but feel she was missing something…

After gorging themselves on a delicious Christmas dinner, the two classes gathered around the TV to watch some Christmas movies. They'd played three already and now needed to pick a fourth.

"I want the 2052 remake of Polar Express! It's a classic!" said Shishida.

"Please," Kaminari said, "The original is way better!"

"You take that back heathen!"

Shiozaki raised her hand.

"We already played A Charlie Brown Christmas so we're not watching the Nativity Story," said Kendo.

Shiozaki put her hand down.

Erma raised her hand.

"No horror movies!"

She lowered it.

Yanagi turned to her. "Please tell me you weren't going to suggest Silent Night, Deadly Night? That was a travesty to the name of horror."

Erma wrinkled her nose, then pointed to her horns.

"Oh good. Krampus is a spooky delight for the Christmas season."

Erma nodded. After a moment she snapped her fingers and held her hand up again.

"Is it a horror movie?" said Iida.

Erma shook her head.

"Very well then, what is it?

She then grabbed the remote and selected…

"The Nightmare before Christmas?" said Kendo with a deadpan look.

"You said it wasn't a horror movie!" said Iida chopping the air.

"It's not!" Midoriya said. "The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic children's movie made using stop motion animation! It's good!"

"You're just saying that because Erma wants it," said Sero.

"Am not!"

"He's actually right," Setsuna said. "It's a fun little film. "

"I concur," said Yanagi.

Iida chopped his hand toward them. "Four votes! The Nightmare Before Christmas it is!"

Erma pumped her fist into the air and started the movie.

Half the students sat down to see what it was with excitement, and while another half did so morbid curiosity. It was a well-known fact that Erma's taste in movies could be…suspect. Like that time the girls wanted to watch a romance and Erma showed them a slasher instead (when Mina said she wanted to see a guy chasing after the main girl, that is not what she meant!). Or that time they had Eri over and she picked Raiders of the Lost Ark to watch!

(Granted that movie was good, but it was kind of intense for a six-year-old!)

After twenty minutes, it turned out the movie was… pretty good! It was a fun little movie about the creatures of Halloween trying to take over Christmas for a year! Mina would have to give this one to Erma and Midoriya.

Speaking of whom…

Mina's eyes trailed to Midoriya and Erma, who were sitting next to each other like always. She glanced at the unoccupied ceiling above them.

It's time.

Mina put her hand into her pocket and felt her weapon once again. A mistletoe. Perfect to force a Christmas kiss. Now, how to get it above the two prospective lovebirds?

She needed to be subtle, quiet, and, most importantly of all, quick. If she was caught, Erma would be furious. However, if she didn't see anything until it was too late, the two would be too flustered to deliver vengeance upon her! They'd kiss and Mina wouldn't be destroyed in the process!

Now how to get it above them…

Mina looked around the room for help. Yanagi? No, she was too close to Erma. Shiozaki? No. Tokage?

Yes

Takage may be Erma's friend, but she was also a shipper like Mina! She'd be the perfect ally in this mission! Mina got up to use the ladies room and on the way back, after passing Kaminari in the hall, wrote a quick note describing her plan and discreetly dropped it on Tokage's shoulder.

Mina sat back down and glanced over at Tokage, who was watching the movie with her arms folded. Tokage occasionally glanced at at Mina, but gave no acknowledgement of the message. Mina was about to give up when she felt a tapping on her shoulder. Mina looked over and saw Tokage's detached hand. The hand gave her a thumb's up.

Mina beamed. The time has come! The fingers opened up then curled in in a "give it" motion. Mina took the mistletoe from her pocket and handed it to Tokage's hand, which began floating toward Midoriya and Erma. Mina resisted the urge to giggle. This. Was. Perfect.

The hand grew closer.

Neither noticed it.

It grew closer still!

Almost there.

Just the mistletoe passed above them, Erma shot several locks of hair at the hand, pinning it to the ceiling. Erma glared at Tokage before her head twisted 180 degrees to glare at Mina.

Mina tried to put on an innocent expression, but Ojiro, traitor that he was, said, "Ashido gave it to her."

Mina tried to flee but Erma's hair enveloped her until only her head was exposed.

"Hey! Leggo! This isn't funny Shiozaki!" Tokage said as Shiozaki's vines wrapped around her, trapping her too. Mina's plan had failed. Now, doom awaited them.

Kaminari strolled in and looked around. "Hey guys, what's going on? And how'd that get there?"

He'd stopped at his spot next to one of the chairs, right beneath the mistletoe. Jiro, who was sitting right next to him, was also under the mistletoe. The two made eye contact for a moment. Then she pointed an earphone jack at his face.

"Try anything and I'll kill you."

Kaminari waved his hands defensively. "It's ok Jiro! I-"

"Say you wouldn't have wanted to kiss me anyway and I'll also kill you."

"…Then what am I supposed to do?"

Jiro folded her arms and looked away. "Just sit down and let Erma murder Mina and Tokage."

Mina wasn't sure, but it almost looked like Jiro was blushing…

Erma and Shiozaki dragged Mina and Setsuna in front of the class.

"What are you going to do with us?" Mina said.

Erma tapped her chin. Then she walked up and put both hands around Tokage's head and began to pull.

"Hey what are you doing Erma?" Tokage said. "Hold on, wait! You'll-!"

Erma ripped Tokage's head clean from its shoulders.

A gasp rose from the class at the grisly sight. Erma...she'd just…

Tokage blinked. "What was that supposed to be?"

Oh right, detachable body parts.

Erma shrugged, then put the head back on. Had she just done that for fun?

"What penance shall we give to these two sinners and schemers?" said Shiozaki.

Erma looked up in thought then snapped her fingers. She whispered in Shiozaki's ear.

"Ah!" Shiozaki said. "A hanging it is!"

Mina gulped. What?

Turns out, Erma meant hanging Tokage and Mina upside down and letting the blood rush to their heads.

For several minutes!

Fortunately, they eventually decided that the two had suffered enough and let them both down. "Whew, I am not trying that again," said Mina as the blood left her head, her face returning from red to its normal shade of pink.

(Not that she wouldn't try and get Midoriya and Erma together again of course, but she'd use a different scheme next time!)

As Mina considered her next course of action, she noticed Bakugo sitting alone without paying attention. Mina crept up with the spare Santa jacket…

"Try anything and I blow you to kingdom come."

"Whaat?" Mina said holding the jacket behind her back. "I wasn't going to try anything!"

"Bearing false witness is a sin!" said Shiozaki.

Mina used the distraction to throw the coat around Bakugo's shoulders and, before he could explode her, Kaminari threw the Santa hat on his head. Kaminari bolted to Jiro for protection while Mina hid behind Kirishima. They'd done it! Mina beheld the fruits of their labor.

Only for Bakugo to yank the coat off and drop it on the ground like the unfestive swine he was!

"Come on!" said Mina. "It took forever getting that on you! Where's your Christmas spirit?!"

"I'm not wearing that stupid costume!"

Before Mina could say anything else, Iida said, "Everyone! Line up for a group photo!"

Everyone gathered together while Iida used a tripod (thanks Yaomomo) to set up the camera and activate the timer.

"Everyone say Merry Christmas!" said Toru.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

snap

They gathered around Iida as he checked the photo. It looked great! Everyone was smiling (well Bakugo looked neutral but from him that was a smile!). It was a nice photo to remember this night by.

Even if Bakugo wasn't dressed like Santa and Midoriya and Erma were dressed as Krampus.

Wait

Iida cleared his throat. "Now that that's done-"

"Hold on!" said Mina as a delightful idea sprang into her mind. "Can we take another one? I want to try something!"

"As long as it's school appropriate, I will accept it!"

Mina strolled on up to Bakugo. "Bakugo?" she said in a sing song tone.

"If this is another attempt to get me in that stupid outfit don't bother! I already told you I'm not doing it!"

"Really? What if I told you-"Mina whispered into his ear.

Bakugo looked pensive. Then he growled and snatched the coat from her. "Fine. I'll wear the damn coat! But you'd better do your part!"

"Will do~"

Mina skipped over to Midoriya and Erma. "Midoriya, Erma. Could you please where the Santa costumes for the class picture at least? Even Bakugo's doing it and wouldn't it be nice for everyone to be on theme?" Mina folded her hands together and gave them her best puppy eyes.

Erma was unmoved, but Midoriya looked conflicted. "I-I don't know Erma. Don't you think it'd be nice to do it, at least a little?"

Erma looked unconvinced.

Midoriya looked away. He looked back with an excited expression. "I have an idea!"

Erma gave him a curious look and tilted her head, letting Midoriya whisper into her ear. Erma nodded and lifted her face. Midoriya cupped her cheek and-

Gasp! They're not going to-

-took out a marker and began drawing on it.

Darn it!

Midoriya drew two horizontal lines from the sides of Erma's mouth, then drew a series of vertical lines, covering both lines and Erma's lips. They looked like stitching? Or teeth? Erma took off her horns and coat and phased through the ceiling. After a minute, she returned in one of the red Santa outfits Momo had provided. She landed and showed it off to Midoriya before getting into a monster pose.

"Wow…It looks perfect!" Midoriya said, his face almost as red as her costume.

As wonderful as his embarrassment was, Mina couldn't help but be confused. Why the monster pose? Why the lines?

Hold on…Between Erma's white skin, black sclera, and the lines over her mouth, she almost looked like she was dressed as a…skeleton. Mina's whipped around to check the TV. The Nightmare Before Christmas was still selected, with Jack Skellington proudly displayed on the front.

Erma wasn't dressed as Santa Claus. She was dressed as Jack Skellington's Sandy Claws!

Mina sighed. Well, if it works

Erma dragged Midoriya up the stairs. After a minute or two they came back down. Midoriya's face was now covered in white make-up, with dark shadow around his eyes and fake teeth drawn over his mouth, making his face resemble a skull. He wore a green Santa suit, contrasting Erma's red.

Also green was kind of his thing.

Erma and Midoriya joined the main group. Eri immediately moved to stand next to them. "So Ashido," Kaminari said, "What'd you say to get Bakugo in the costume?"

"Oh I told him that if he did it, I could convince Erma to too, meaning he helped beat her."

"HA! TAKE THAT GHOST FREAK! I WIN THIS ROUND!"

"See?"

Mina had gotten everyone dressed as Santa! She may not have gotten Midoriya and Erma under the mistletoe, but she could tease them for dressing as a pair twice (then run for her life of course).

Between that and everything else, this was a great Christmas...

"Alright everybody!" said Kendo. "Say Christmas!"

"CHRISTMAS!"
