"So! Welcome to our bedroom!" Ruby said excitedly as she threw her arms in the air.

"What are those?" Francisco asked, pointing at the very scuffed beds stacked on top of each other by scuffed means, "You are holding two whole beds with books and rope tied to the ceiling?"

Ruby tried to justify giving one of them the strongest punch she could manage, "They only look unsafe. Trust me." the bed did move, but it soon stabilized itself.

Taking a better look at the room, the assistant librarian noticed a few things.

Standing in the doorway to his right, laid one 'bunk-bed.' Next to it, dubious amounts of books with titles he couldn't read, on the bed above it, posters with seemingly very muscular but somewhat poor men, considering that they lack most of their clothing.

On his right, below the bottom bed, was stored a bunch of white suitcases, and on top of it was a very, very scuffed bed hanging on the ceiling slightly moving from the wind current of the open window.

On the far right is a closed door leading to… Somewhere.

And in the center, they have a window and a small drawer beneath it. On the far left, they had a small table and chair with notebooks piled on top.

"I really dislike this place." The librarian muttered to himself, taking off his black coat and then folding it neatly, and leaving him with nothing but bloody bandages to cover his upper body. "Where can I clean this?"

Ruby's enthusiasm instantly deflated with Francisco's lack of reaction about the room, "Oh… We usually clean our clothes on Sundays because it's when our turn in the washing room is."

The bald one blinked. "What day of the week is it?"

The other three girls all entered their dorm and proceeded to tidy up their beds "Monday?"

Francisco violently threw his coat on the ground with a rage-filled grunt, regretted doing it, and picked it up again. "Unlucky. Anywhere I can put this? I don't think I can use it as it is." He unfolded it, "Here you can see there is a burnt hole in the front that also pierces the back, along with a cut from the right shoulder to the bottom left part of the front. Not to mention the amount of blood stains on it." There even was a bullet hole on the upper left.

Yang sat on her bed and let out an impressed whistle "Damn, how are you even standing up?"

Blake sat on the chair and pulled out a book from one of the piles.

Weiss was somewhat bothered by the uncaring bald man standing in front of the doorway of her dorm room, "I'm surprised by how Stoic you're acting."

Moving a bit to the left and sitting down on the floor, Francisco completely ignored their remarks about his sturdiness/stubbornness, "What do you guys do here at Beacon?"

Weiss sighed, "I don't even… *sigh* We normally watch classes and study for upcoming tests, and every day, we have combat class."

Francisco nodded, "Do you have to write anything other than your name in these tests?"

Blake closed her book violently and stared at him, indignation forming on her very core.

"Because I don't really know how to write or read most things."

The Faunus girl's eyes twitched in disbelief, "Are you illiterate?" She asked.

Francisco leaned against the wall, "If that word means that I can't read or write, then yes."

"What?"

Weiss was the first to express her surprise "What do you mean you're illiterate and just been accepted into Beacon!?"

The librarian stood up due to the sudden noise, "Is it that impressive?"

Weiss stopped up to him and pressed her finger into his chest "Yes it is! You shouldn't even be here in the first place! What were you doing during your whole life?"

He raised his hands to the air in an attempt to plead with the girl, "Uh…" he struggled to sort out his thoughts "I used to work at a library? Does that count for something?" He calmly said, removing the girl's finger from his still-wounded chest. "Abstain from touching my hurt bits, yeah? Thank you."

Weiss was beyond furious, "What do you mean you worked at a library without the ability to read?!"

Francisco crossed his arms, "It was kind of against my will… Beats than living in the backstreets, though."

Blake decided to join the conversation, "What did you do for a living before working as a Librarian?"

Francisco responded almost instantly "Well, I used to live in the same place as my old job… Before the Library, I worked at an energy production company, you might have heard of it."

Weiss was still incredulous, "What do you mean you worked at an energy-producing company without the ability to read? Do you really expect me to believe that?"

Francisco nodded in understanding, "Yeah, I guess you're right… But before that, I used to be a part of a gigantic criminal syndicate!" the bald one proudly verbalized.

"Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me that you were once part of a criminal group? That we are housing another former criminal?" The heiress exclaimed, "First a member of the White Fang and now another criminal… This is getting out of hand."

Francisco stood there simply mesmerized by the situation, "What is the White Fang? Is that a finger subsidiary or something? 'Cause I never heard of it."

"What? Again? I'm seriously trying to have a conversation!"

Blake inhaled deeply trying to calm her nerves down, "Where are you from, Francisco?" she said with a forced voice trying to keep her feelings in check.

"Well, I was born and raised on the Backstreets of District Twelve."

"And where is that? Vacuo?" Yang tried to make sense of his statements.

"Uh, you know, near L Corp's Nest? The Energy Production company? Partially controlled by the Index? What the hell is Vacuo?"

"I can't believe I owe Nora fifty bucks." Yang said as she jumped down from her bed.

"I refuse to believe that you don't know what Vacuo is. I think you're just… Hallucinating after losing so much blood in your fight against Pyrrha" Weiss attempted to find a semblance of reasoning in his words.

Ruby dashed closer to him "You're from another world?! That's so cool! Wait! You're not here to colonize our planet, are you?" And as quickly as she dashed in, she jumped out, hiding behind her sister.

"What do you mean I'm from another world? Isn't this place just a wicked form of entertainment for a nest?" Francisco sat, legs crossed, as he inspected the girls thoroughly, their expression ranged from indignation to awe, from curiosity to… Well, rampant curiosity, and soon, the questions started coming.

Ruby pounced on him, as he remained unmoving. "What is a nest?! Is it the place where the bad guys live?"

Yang instantly got a hold of her sister's hoodie, stopping her death in her tracks, "Easy there sis', it's not like baldie over there's going anywhere."

He placed his hands on his chin, "Hm..." he hummed out loud.

"Wait, so you're not illiterate, you just don't understand our writing! I still think you have less than ideal mental faculties right now-"

"No, no. I just don't know how to read or write. It has nothing to do with this world."

Weiss instantly deflated as she sat on her bed.

"So, what do you plan to do now?" Blake asked, as she got up from her chair and squatted near him, "I'm sure you probably want to go back, but…"

The bald one instantly cut her line of thought short, "No, no, no. I'm just wondering how in the wing's name we ended up here." a small light bulb quickly appeared atop his head, unfortunately, he instantly waved it off, "Eh, I have no clue, but I'm happy it happened." he said as he quickly untied the bandages that covered his whole torso.

Ruby and Yang quickly held his hands, trying to stop his movement, "Wait stop! Don't do it." Ruby exclaimed, "Don't want you going back to the infirmary that quickly, yeah?"

Francisco blinked "Oh, right. No place to properly dispose of the bandages, I see. Where can I trash these? Not like I'm using it."

"Wait, wait, wait." Weiss once again interrupted "Instead of freaking out or being worried about people back where you're from." Weiss tried to reason with the alien, "You're trying to, not only harm yourself further, you also don't seem to care about going back home? What about your other two friends? Bemaia and… We don't know his name yet."

Francisco pretended to listen as he stealthily tried to untie his bandages, "What if they want to go back? Will you not help them? And stop that!" She slapped his hand out of the bandage's range.

"Okay, you got me, I won't take it off for now." he sighed, "Look, I'm sure neither of them would want to return. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that we physically couldn't leave the library, we would have already tried to leave, so I'm glad it happened, even if it traps me in a place I don't know anything about."

"What are you on about?! It's a library!" Weiss intervened, again.

"Oh right, you don't know."

Francisco stood up on his two feet and told the girls to get comfy. The girls found a place to sit and wait for him to stop fiddling with his bandages. "So, uhh, you girls know what a Star of the City is?" all four of them shook their heads, and the bald one nodded in understanding "It's a… Thing?" he stopped for a few seconds as he sorted his thoughts "Yeah. It's basically something that poses a great threat to the City and can't be easily meddled with."

Ruby raised her hand, "Question! What is this 'City' place?"

Francisco ceased all movement. His eyes stared at a corner in the ceiling as he hummed loudly, "Uh, is it a-"

"It's the City." he interrupted her.

"Yeah… But what makes this 'city' The City?" Yang asked.

Francisco halted his movement again, "Uh, I've never had to explain what the City is…" he hummed loudly once again, "It's the place where everyone lives. And I mean everyone."

Yang commented, "Must be a really cramped place."

"Not really. So, the Library is a 'Star of the City', meaning it's one of the freest things in the City." Francisco continued as he stood completely and awkwardly still, "The thing is, I trust you four, that you'll NOT let this information leave this room."

The girls looked at each other. "Isn't this going a bit too fast?" Weiss commented.

"It's far more interesting than almost everything that has happened here at Beacon." Blake decided to share a piece of her mind.

"I still think he's hallucinating, but, it's not as if we have anything better to do." Yang shrugged.

"So, we're dudes reborn with a very special thing that I know nothing about, not even the name of it. But I know that we are only allowed to exist inside the Library." he said as he fist-bumped his own chest.

"Okay." Weiss nodded her head as she got up from Ruby's head, "I'll be in our library for now. It seems more interesting than whatever this conversation has led to." as she passed through the opened door, she turned back, "Don't let him touch my personal belongings, thank you." before she left the bald one shouted.

"If you find my man Bemaia, tell him that we are in another world!"

And just like that, Weiss vanished into the corridors.

Ruby sighed, "Sorry about Weiss, She's just so-"

Francisco pressed his index finger to her mouth, "If you're going to talk smack about someone, do it in their face."

Ruby, being taken by surprise, quickly nodded as he removed his finger from her face, "I don't blame her if she doesn't believe me. I wouldn't either." he closed the door and turned back to the girls "With that being said… I only now realized that I don't really care if people learn about that…" he hummed out loud, "Yeah so, I need to know how this 'Aura' thing works."

The rest of the team was taken by surprise with that question, "You're not even going to tell us more about your world?"

Francisco nodded "Maybe later, but actually fighting Pyrrha is more important." he chuckled to himself "Yes, she told me she would fight me again with I had Aura, so I guess I need that as soon as…"

His vision started to blur.

His knees felt weak as he stumbled backward. "Possible…" He swallowed.

Three figures quickly swarmed him and stopped his fall.

He lost his balance, as his weight suddenly shifted towards the right side of his body.

"Am I…" Even his thoughts were turning blank. "...having a stroke?"

His body violently but sloppily reacted to something lightly touching his chest.

'Such a pleasant warmth…'

He couldn't tell what was going on, but he felt as if his left arm had lost some of its weight.

Voices and sounds rang around them even if he couldn't understand what they meant.

"What…" he tried to move his arms, to no avail.

Something held one of them in place, while the other he couldn't feel if it even was there.

His vision was blurry to the point of leaving him functionally blind, he could only see things resembling silhouettes rapidly passing by him.

He felt his back hitting against a hard surface as his vision finally turned black and the sound ceased.

The bald one's mind finally came back to him. 'Nothing but darkness, huh?' He tried to move his body, to no avail.

He couldn't even tell if his body was still there.

He couldn't feel anything.

He was alone with his thoughts.

'I don't know what is happening, but I have a bad feeling about this.'

Uneasiness filled his soul as he could do nothing but wait.

But then, he heard something.

The voice of a young woman, an uncanny voice that would have sent chills down his spine if he could feel it. He couldn't make out what the voice was telling him, but slowly he became accustomed to the voice and after a few moments, he could understand it.

"Who is it?"

"And? I did it because I wanted to, even if my body paid the price. I won't regret my decision."

"Starting anew is no stranger to me. I have done it time, and time again. It won't be any different this time."

"The unknown, you say?"

"If I can't… Then I must try until I can overcome it."

"You don't know me, so don't act as if you have the right to talk me down."

"Seed? What the hell are you on about?"

"What I want?"

...

He chuckled to himself "Yes, she told me she would fight me again with I had Aura, so I guess I need that as soon as…" his voice suddenly stopped.

The three girls didn't even have time to question what he was doing before he suddenly collapsed against the dorm room's wall.

"Possible…" He barely managed to finish the sentence.

"You, okay there buddy?" Yang asked, concerned with him.

Before she received an answer, a yellowish light appeared at the tip of his left hand's fingers, and before they could turn their questions into words, the light began slowly expanding through his arm as his fingertips transformed into small specks of yellow glitter and were falling off from his arm.

"WHAT!" The girls yelled in confusion as they jumped in to aid him.

Blake held him in place, not letting him fall down, Yang took hold of his right arm as it started swinging randomly, and Ruby stood there, unmoving.

"What is going on big guy!? Is that normal?" Yang said as she struggled to keep his arm in place.

"Am I…" he struggled to speak.

"Should we call someone?!" Blake half-asked half yelled, but after receiving no answer from her team leader, she yelled once again "Ruby! What do we do?" but there was no response. His left arm was almost completely consumed by the light, while his hand was already gone and sparkling about.

"Get him on the floor!" Yelled Yang.

Blake immediately complied and got him on the floor as carefully as they could while his body went limp "... Having a stroke?" He managed to finish his comment.

"No, you ass! This is definitely NOT a stroke!" They managed to get him to sit still for a few moments. "Ruby!"

The leader finally responded "Y-Yeah!" she jumped in surprise.

"What's happening to your arm?!" Ruby yelled in shock and crouched near him while holding the stub that remained of his left arm in place.

Ruby turned to her teammate while pressing against Francisco's arm in hopes of accomplishing something. "Blake! Get help, anyone!" she nodded and within the blink of an eye, she vanished from the room.

Ruby turned her attention back to the bald one, "What's with you! You're sweating rivers!" she put the palm of her hand on top of his chest, "Is your heart even beating!?" She couldn't tell.

Yang finally managed to sit him down, "Sis, I don't think the medics can do much to help him." she said, as his left arm was practically gone.

"There must be something we can do to help him, right?" Yang had a saddened, doubtful face.

Ruby got to thinking 'Okay, let's start with the fact that he's an alien. His body is slowly turning into the light. It's as if he's made from light, but something was giving it form… like a shell? If that's the case, then I just need to give him a new shell?'

After a few seconds of searching her bag, Ruby pulled out a plastic bag and tried to put it on what was left of his left arm.

'There! If I can capture the light, then he will have a new shell!'

Unfortunately for her, the specs of light simply passed through the plastic bag, "Crap Baskets!" Ruby cursed, as Yang immobilized the bald man.

So, she got back to thinking.

'Okay, maybe he doesn't need that kind of shell.' panic began to fill her 'Okay! That's okay! What other options do I have?' Nothing came.

'He'll be completely gone before help comes! What do I do!?'

Ruby watches Yang struggling to keep Francisco in place with an arm lock, "How can a guy without Aura be so goddamn strong?"

Ruby's eyes widened "That's it!" she got closer to the bald guy "Yang, keep him still, I'm going to unlock his Aura!"

Yang's mouth opened to contest, but she decided against it. "On it!"

Ruby got closer and rested her hands on his chest.

She exhaled

'How do I unlock someone's Aura?'

'If I remember right, It's like slowly using my own Aura to stimulate others and unlock it?' She closed her eyes. 'Okay, It's now or never.'

She heard Yang "Be fast sis, I Think his clothes are vanishing… Yup, they are."

She felt an awkward sensation wash over her. "Uh, um, Hey?" she focused her Aura. "I don't know if you can hear me, but, I didn't believe you when you said you're not from around here… But then you just start disintegrating!"

She could feel her aura entering his body "And uh, I don't know about you, but that's proof enough that you're an alien! How cool is that!"

"Ruby, I think It's working!"

Sweat rolled down from her face. "I don't know if what you are doing is normal or not, but when this ends, you better tell us everything!"

She opened her eyes.

A very faint bright red barrier engulfed his body, not letting any more light escape his body. He also stopped fighting against Yang's attempts to immobilize him.

"Hoooo!" Ruby cheered as she took out her scroll to send Blake a message "Good news, he stopped disintegrating!" Then she observed the rest of his body, blushing slightly "Bad news. He lost his clothes and his left arm isn't coming back." she sent the message to her teammate who answered almost instantly 'I'll go get some clothes with Ren, his friends were notified.' Blake sent her.

Yang let him go and stumbled backward into the floor. "That was miserable." she said, panting on the ground.

"What was that!? He just fell like a ragdoll and just lost his arm!" Ruby sat on Weiss' bed, "I don't know. That was out of nowhere, a completely random thing to just happen!"

Yang sighed as she took her blanket, "Let me just…" She threw the blanket over Francisco "I'm not in the mood to watch some naked dude passed out…"

As the blanket slowly descended upon his unconscious body, from beneath it, a golden strip of cloth was pushed out by the blanket blowing the air. Ruby was quick to grab it. "What is this...?"

Analysing the strange object she noticed a small paragraph of text written on it. The first line read 'To Francisco; To be carried out when-' and Ruby folded the piece of golden cloth. This wasn't hers, she shouldn't.

"Give it to him once he wakes up?" Yang suggested.

"Yeah..." She replied, storing it in her pocket, as she struggled to catch her breath after overextending her aura usage.

The two kept staring at him.

"Yo… Ruby?"

Her leader was panting heavily after overusing her aura "Yeah?"

Yang swallowed loudly, "Did he always have those lumps on his cheek?"

Ruby angrily sighed. "What does he have now?" Ruby got up from the bed and crouched near him.

Ruby blinked, "What are those? Nothing was there before…" She internally screamed "I did that, didn't I?"

Yang patted her back, "The dude is built differently, I'm sure when he wakes up, he'll explain everything and more."

Ruby sighed, "He better."

"What do you mean 'I will remain?', what kind of id-and she's gone." everything remained black, he couldn't see a thing.

'I'm guessing I died then?' he hummed, 'It's always a different experience each time.' And like that, he remained, alone with his thoughts.

'Now that I think about it, I don't feel my arm.'

But then, he saw something, a door he was very familiar with, a metal door with a number pad next to it and a code written on it.

'O-06-20, huh?'

He looked around.

'Can I not open this door?'

But his legs didn't listen to him and with the blink of an eye, he was already pressing the number pad near the door.

He could hear something coming from inside.

"Want… a shell… Shell…"

His vision was blurry, he could barely see what was in front of him.

Muffled noises rang around him. He moved his arms near his face, but only the right one responded.

A few moments later, he could start to make out how many fingers he held in front of his face.

Then, he felt a cold liquid being poured on his body, which made his heart skip a beat and forced his senses back to him.

"I'm awake!" he said as he jolted up, holding onto the blanket over him as if his life depended on it.

"What is that on your face?!" he heard a female voice yell.

His hand traveled through his face, trying to find the said problem.

"On your left cheek!"

The hand traveled there, but found nothing,

"The other left!" Another voice yelled.

As his hand touched something, he winced in pain.

"Wha…"

He touched it again.

And it hurt.

A lot.

Almost as if he touched his own eyes by accident.

'Wait, eyes?'

He gently rubbed them with his fingers, this time, it didn't hurt. Then he blinked, and for some reason, he continued seeing, just from another perspective.

"Oh no." He realized that he had three more eyes on his right cheek.

A/N: This is a revised version of the Chapter. I'll be doing that for all of 'em, probably.
