Chapter 7

Protecting the seals

AN: Okay this one took a little longer than I thought it would I guess it was just hard to write. Anyway, this is not my best work and is mostly battle-driven instead of bits of plot still hope you like it. Oh and DragonBladeB5 I do appreciate your reviews and I have learned from Marcus Clure. I will be answering all of your questions and maybe other viewers on my profile page I will be deleting my past responses after I am sure you have read them this applies to anyone with questions this is to save space on the doc. Anyway please enjoy.

Disclaimer: I still don't own Yo-kai watch, if I did the infinite inferno would be in Yo-kai watch 3.

It was a normal day for Nate except it was almost the end of school. Summer was only a few weeks away and everyone couldn't wait. The only thing anyone in the school cared about were the final tests and summer vacation. Nate was worried about the final tests but he was more excited about summer coming. He would get to hang out with his friends every day and they could do whatever they wanted to. The only thing that stood between Nate and his classmates and summer were those tests. Eddie, of course, wasn't worried about it at all he already studied a lot, Bear was trying his hardest to study all he could the same with Nate and Katie, Lucas wasn't really worried he didn't care if he aced it but they all knew he would do good. Lucas was one of the smartest kids in class, he had slightly higher grades than average. He was probably tied with Katie who was a little lower than Eddie and Sarah who had the best grades in the class. There was some Yo-kai activity but for the finals Nate and Lucas created a team of Yo-kai to protect the school. Nate summoned Robonyan, Shogunyan, No way, Jibanyan, Cadin, and Blazion. Lucas summoned Cruncha, Dromp, Impass, Hornaplenty, Signiton, and Slicenrice. Together all those Yo-kai kept the School Yo-kai free for the finals.

"Yeah almost done with school!" said Nate and his friends.

"I can't believe we have almost finished fifth grade," said Katie.

"Yeah it's so cool I can't wait for summer then I can play as much video games and

read as much as I want." said Eddie.

"And I can catch tons of bugs and fish," said Bear.

"Yeah!" they all cheered. Though after school when Nate was walking home he noticed

Whisper was unusually quiet, Whisper always rambled on how Nate could be a better student. a better friend, how Nate should just tell Katie that he liked her, how he could help out more, how he was such a good and smart Yo-kai butler, or etc but lately Whisper wasn't talking he seemed deep in thought and he wore a face of worry and anxiety.

"Hey Whisper what's been going on you haven't been talking as much lately." said

Nate.

"Huh, oh sorry Nate, um whatever do you mean, I have been as chatty as always." said

Whisper.

"Yeah right, you have been silent most of the week," said Nate.

"Don't worry I am fine," said Whisper.

"Sure you are," Nate said Sarcastically.

Whisper said, "Fine well um it just I have been sensing something."

Nate asked, "really?"

Whisper said, "I am telling the truth, I have been sensing something extremely

powerful and dangerous I think I know what it is but you may need help from Lucas you are going to need all the help you can get."

Nate said, "Okay then Whisper."

After the tests of Friday Nate pulled Lucas away from the rest of the kids as they were leaving.

Nate said, "Hey Lucas I need your help."

Whisper said, "Yes it is of major importance."

Jibanyan was confused and asked, "What the nyan is going on?"

Lucas asked, "Yeah what is going on?"

Nate said, "I don't know but Whisper said he felt a strange aura."

Jibanyan said, "Ha Whisper is always wrong though."

Nate said, "I don't think so this time."

Whisper said, "Thank you, Nate."

Lucas said, "Hmm I think I sense it too."

"AHHHHHH!" screamed one of Nate's classmates. Nate, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Lucas ran over to where the screaming came from. Whoever was screaming already ran away but the cause of the scream was still there. There was Manjimutt.

Nate said, "Oh it's just Manjimutt."

Manjimutt said, "you gotta be kidding me I finally find out how to be invisible and it doesn't work. I'm just gonna head to the bar. Doggone it."

Nate said, "sorry Manjimutt."

Whisper said, "Well that was a letdown."

Lucas asked, "who was that?"

"Ahhhhhh ghosts!" screamed another one of Nate and Lucas' Classmates this one was Meg and she ran. Leaving Nate, Lucas, Jibanyan, and Whisper confused.

Jibanyan asked, "What was her problem."

Lucas and Nate looked at each other and Lucas said, "Um, I think they can see you."

Whisper gasped, "What?! Impossible." but then a kid named Jack came up saw Whisper and shouted, "Oh no ghosts!" then ran off.

Jibanyan said, "Oh great Manjimutt's lack of Yo-kai skills is rubbing off on us."

Nate said, "I don't think that's it." as he pointed to a trail of other Yo-kai that were scaring other people."

Whisper asked, "Jibanyan do you feel that?"

Jibanyan asked, "Feel what?"

Whisper said, "There are some intense pulses of Yo-kai energy coming from all over the city."

Jibanyan said, "Nyow that you mention it I do feel that."

Nate asked, "What? Yo-kai energy pulses?"

Whisper said, "There is not much time to explain but it seems Springdale is one large Yo-kai hot spot. It actually makes a lot of sense but we don't have time for that. Basically Springdale has an overwhelming amount of Yo-kai energy but if I remember correctly priests from long ago put seals all around the town to keep a decent amount of Yo-kai from escaping. But it seems someone has broken those seals and now we must fix them."

Nate asked, "What will happen if we don't?"

Lucas said, "That!" Lucas pointed at several Yo-kai that seemed to be surrounded in a dark purple aura. Those Yo-kai then released that aura onto nearby humans who ran away in fear but didn't realize that they were inspirited already.

Whisper said, "The whole town gets inspirited by Yo-kai who can't do anything to stop it because they can't control the overflow of Yo-kai energy in their bodies."

Nate said, "Then we better hurry. Whisper where are these seals?"

Whisper said, "Hmm well I need to remember, I know there are none in Blossom heights that could be broken they are all guarded by people, and the on in the old mansion is lost there is a lot of Yo-kai energy there but it is stable. There are none in Flower Road that place is way too new to have one. Um…"

Jibanyan said, "Hmm I feel a strong aura coming from the community center."

Nate said, "Okay then let's go." Nate, Lucas, Jibanyan, followed by Whisper started running for the community center on their way the saw many people get attacked by random Yo-kai who were fighting against their will or driven mad by power. There were little to no people around the community center everyone either fled or were stuck inside.

Lucas said, "I'm gonna go inside and help, you guys fix the seal." Nate gave a nod. Nate, Jibanyan, and Whisper searched around.

Whisper said, "I found it here it is." Whisper pointed to a stone slab that seemed to be completely engulfed in a purple aura.

Nate said, "Then let's go fix it."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah Nyate."

Whisper said, "Okay!" but then three gusts of smoke appeared and with it three Yo-kai. The first was a Yo-kai that had long strands of shape blade-like blue hair, with a body of a sword's hilt. The second was a big brutish Yo-kai with blue skin, bushy black eyebrows, and beard, and an orange hoodie-like piece of clothing. The final one that seemed to be the leader was what looked like to be a tan version of Undy. They were followed by two Mochismo and one Minochi; a Yo-kai who looked like Mochismo but pinker.

Nate asked, "Who are these Yo-kai whisper."

Whisper brought out his Yo-kai pad and said, "Well you already know Mochismo and Minochi. The big blue and orange Yo-kai who is extremely macho is Darumacho, the result of the fusion between the weaker Dulluma and the stronger Mochismo he inherited the strength of Mochismo and the defense of Dulluma, the sword looking Yo-kai is Slacka-slash a lazy sword Yo-kai with many sharp blades and finally, the tan Undy is known as Tanbo he is extremely gutsy and extremely fast. Watch out Nate these are all powerful Yo-kai this could be dangerous."

Jibanyan said, "I bet they are power crazy Nyate."

Nate said, "Then I guess we have no choice but to battle them." Nate brought up his watch hand and then pressed the button on it, "Alright calling all my Yo-kai friends. Yo-kai medals do your thing." the wheel formed on the watch and the hands spun landed on Blazion.

Blazion appeared alongside Walkappa, Komasan, Komajiro, and Robonyan as well as Jibanyan after he joined them.

Nate said, "Guys I need your help to save Springdale."

Blazion said, "Rah Rah." with a few air punches.

Komasan said, "We're happy to help ya, Nate."

Komajiro said, "Yup we got this Nate just leave it to us."

Robonyan said, "Optimizing saving the town procedures, ready, go!"

Walkappa said, "Sure Springdale is my favorite place. It's where I live."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah, let's protect our home Nyan!" they all charged for battle.

"Oorah!" shouted the opposing power-hungry Yo-kai. Robonyan had a rough time dealing with Slacka-slash who's blade hair seemed dull was actually very sharp and did some damage to Robonyan. Jibanyan was fighting against all the Mochi Yo-kai who were very aggressive. Blazion was facing off against Tanbo who was heavily out speeding the fiery lion Yo-kai. Blazion was doing a good job blocking every attack but who knew how long he could take it. Komasan, Komajiro, and Walkappa did want to help but they were too overwhelmed by Darmacho who was aggressively attacking them barely giving them time to strick back.

Nate called out, "Jibanyan use paws of fury."

Jibanyan said, "Okay then let's go, time to get serious. Paws of Fury." Jibanyan let out a barrage of punches and it knocked out all three Yo-kai. An orange aura surrounded Jibanyan. "Let's go I am ready to fight!" Jibanyan then went after Darmacho and the two fought.

Whisper said, "Good move Nate, and now Jibanyan will fight harder because of his adrenaline."

Nate said, "That's good but Blazion and Robonyan are still getting beat up."

Whisper got an idea and said, "Oh Nate have Walkappa inspirit Tanbo and Komajiro inspirit Blazion."

Nate said, "Okay Walkappa inspirit Tanbo and Komajiro inspirit Blazion."

Both Yo-kai said, "You got it, Nate!" Komajiro sent an orange aura to Blazion who became energized and Walkappa sent a purple on at Tanbo who suddenly became less motivated.

Whisper said, "Well Walkappa's inspirit makes people and Yo-kai a bit lazier and Komajiro inspires people to go faster."

Nate said, "Oh that's brilliant." With Tanbo lazy and Blazion kicking it up a notch, the tides completely turned. Blazion was now landing blow after blow to Tanbo who wouldn't even block. Soon Blazion defeated Tanbo and Jibanyan with the help of Walkappa, and the Koma bros took Darmacho down. Both Yo-kai disappeared in a puff of purple smoke. Robonyan, on the other hand, was worn out cut extremely badly by Slacka-slash. "Robonyan use your soultimate."

Robonyan said, "Okay activating, Guard Meowde." Robonyan folded up into a defensive position to take more attacks.

Nate said, "Um okay, Komajiro, Komasan, Walkappa, and Blazion help Robonyan out with your elemental attacks." Komasan and Blazion shot a ball of fire, Komajiro created a mini storm of lightning and Walkappa shot a beam of water.

Jibanyan said, "Hey I can help too." Jibanyan sent two weak flames from his tails. All the attacks hit Slacka-slash and Slacka-slash like the others fell and disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke. Robonyan gave Jibanyan a few choco bars and Nate gave the Koma brothers ice cream, Blazion some meat, and Walkappa a few cucumber rolls which healed them all.

Whisper went up to the seal and said, "Well I think this should do the trick, Pocus hocus, Oh great seal, get well soon-ocus." surprisingly the aura vanished and the Yo-kai around the community center stopped going crazy.

Nate said, "Really that worked."

Jibanyan said, "I knyow it is hard to believe Nyate but that actually worked, I don't feel any aura anymore."

Whisper said, "No more excess Yo-kai energy from this seal anytime soon."

Nate said, "Really?! Just really. That worked."

Whisper said, "Well I wasn't the one who designed the seals I just know that that works."

Jibanyan said, "Don't question it we need to get going to fix those other seals I think there is another one that way."

Whisper said, "Wait, we need someone to protect the seal."

Robonyan was smoking and cut up bad but said, "I will guard the seal I am of *Bliztz* little use to you now I am too *bliztz* damaged to do battle and a trip to the future *clunk* for repair would take too long. *Bliztzt* So I will stand here to guard this seal." Robonyan then went over to stand in front of the seal.

Blazion said, "Rah Rah!"

Whisper translate, "Blazion said, I will help."

Lucas came out of the community center building and said, "Okay Nate I took care of all the Yo-kai in there, the people over there should be safe. Let's get going."

Nate said, "Good luck you guys." Nate, Lucas, Whisper, Jibanyan, Komasan, Komajiro, and Walkappa ran all the way to the Springdale city bank. Where the piggy bank statue was surrounded in the same dark purple aura.

Lucas said, "There's the next seal."

Nate said, "Yeah now whisper do your thing."

Whisper said, "I'm not one of your Yo-kai medals Nate but okay." but then they were surrounded on all sides by purple wisps of smoke and they were surrounded by an army of Yo-kai mostly bird Yo-kai. The ring leaders seemed to be big purple bird Yo-kai with red and yellow fingers, a purple and black Buhu, and Tengloom but they were surrounded by many other bird Yo-kai.

Lucas said, "Oh no that's Robbinyu and Skreek plus Tengloom these are all pretty powerful bird Yo-kai."

Tengloom said, "We are tired of being treated like garbage Yo-kai we will take what is ours."

Robbinyu said, "Yeah we will take this power and become the strongest Yo-kai in the world."

Skreek said, "And then you will all feel our pain."

Jibanyan said, "We better prepare for a rough battle nyan."

Komasan said, "Oh my swirls."

Walkappa said, "Oh no man."

Whisper said, "Nate and Lucas summon more Yo-kai." Nate and Lucas nodded. Lucas activated his watch and called forth six Yo-kai. He summoned Tengu, Dromp, Blizzaria, Zerberker, Everfore, and Beelzebold.

Nate said, "Come on out my Yo-kai friend, calling Manjimutt, Yo-kai medal do your thing." Nate tossed his Yo-kai medal into the air and then inserted it into his watch and out came a swirling purple light.

Manjimutt appeared and said, "Doggone it. What do you kids want this time? I was in the middle of drinking my sadness away."

Nate said, "We need you to help us save Springdale."

Manjimutt said, "Fine, I guess I have nothing better to do."

Nate said, "Come on out my Yo-kai friend, calling roughraff, Yo-kai medal do your thing."

Roughraff

Roughraff said, "I'm ready to rumble. Hey, there old man you ready to do this. Let's beat up some birds." It was a long battle but they Yo-kai were holding strong.

Lucas said, "Hey Nate I think if we take out those main three we can win this."

Whisper said, "Yes but they are being guarded by all the other bird Yo-kai."

Lucas said, "I'll take care of them Nate you deal with the leaders."

Nate said, "Okay. Got it."

Lucas said, "Everyone use your Soultimate moves."

Blizzaria said, "Shiny Snowdrifts." Blizzaria created a powerful blizzard of ice energy.

Everfore said, "Beauty Beam." Everfore shot a purple beam from her staff.

Dromp said, "Total Collapse." Dromp crashed down.

Tengu said, "Typhoon Fan." Tengu flapped his fan hard and created a heavy whirlwind.

Zerberker said, "Zerberker Slash." Zerberker became surrounded by a red aura and started to slash in a frenzy.

Beelzebold said, "Boldakazam." Beelzebold cast a cursed aura. The Soultimates destroyed and wiped out almost all the Yo-kai there.

Nate shouted, "Now!" Since Skreek, Tengloom, and Robbinyu were all vulnerable Jibanyan, Manjimutt, and Roughraff took this as there time to strike. Jibanyan punched Robbinyu, Roughraff headbutted Tengloom, and Manjimutt bit Skreek. All three hit the ground and disappeared in a puff of smoke. All the surviving Yo-kai looked around with worried faces and fled.

Nate said, "Yeah, we did it." He and Lucas all gave their hardworking Yo-kai friends some food.

Whisper came up to the seal and said, "Pain Pain go away, come again some other day! Seal… fix yourself." just like that the aura disappeared.

Nate said, "I still can't believe that works."

Whisper said, "Believe it, Nate."

Lucas said, "Now for the guards."

Roughraff said, "I'll protect this here seal from being broke by anyones again."

Manjimutt said, "I'll stay behind too, to keep an eye on this young man."

Dromp said, "Dromp stay too, so these bozos do not mess up."

Nate said, "Thanks, you guys."

Lucas said, "Come on let's go."

Jibanyan said, "This way." They headed into downtown Springdale. There, the boys ran over to the station which was overrun with Yo-kai. It was total chaos with people and Yo-kai running around. There were no Yo-kai in particular who were after seal which was the golden egg it seemed to be emitting a different aura than the other seals but it needed to be fixed none the less.

Whisper said, "It is going to be impossible to get to that seal and fix it."

Nate asked, "Hey Lucas can you summon another powerful Yo-kai? We might be able to get to the seal in we can summon strong enough Yo-kai."

Lucas said, "Um well I don't have any other Yo-kai medals. I guess I have gotten so used to the presets that I forgot to carry any other medals."

Nate said, "Awe dang it, wait I got an idea. Come on out my Yo-kai friend, calling Fidgephant. Yo-kai medal do your thing."

Fidgephant

Fidgephant said, "Let it all out!" Fidgephant let out a spray of liquid that caused everyone absolutely everyone except Nate, Lucas, and their Yo-kai friends to rush away from the golden egg.

Whisper said, "That was amazing Nate. I can't believe you thought of that idea."

Lucas said, "Yeah that was pretty clever, gotta hand it to you Nate."

Nate said, "Thank now let's go fix that seal."

Whisper came up to the seal and chanted, "Abra Kadabra Alakazam, seal be unbroken." the aura from the seal then disappeared.

Nate asked, "How the heck does that work?"

Jibanyan said, "Let's just go. There's another one this way."

Nate said, "Wait up. We should have someone help Fidgephant protect this seal." Fidgephant was just atop the egg preparing to shoot anyone who came near with a need to go.

Tengu said, "Sure I'll do it." Tengu then flew up and landed right by the elephant Yo-kai.

Lucas said, "Thanks Tengu."

Whisper said, "Now come on let's go I think there is another by sunset mall." When they made it to the mall there was a ton of fish Yo-kai coming from the sea attacking people on the pier. It seemed that there were three main Yo-kai who were guarding the statue of a dolphin with a ball that was surrounded by a dark purple aura.

Lucas said, "The seal is guarded by several Yo-kai."

Whisper said, "The Yo-kai guarding it are Tunatic a very angry Yo-kai who will kill anyone who says anything bad about him, the spiky Yo-kai is Blowkade a Yo-kai that blocks people, and the last one is Shrook a Yo-kai who can steal anyone's skills."

Nate said, "Hmm I think I know just the Yo-kai to deal with this. Come on out my Yo-kai friend, calling Noway, Yo-kai medal do your thing."

Nate asked, "Noway will you not help us take down these Yo-kai?"

Noway responded, "No way."

Nate said, "Next Yo-kai calling Shogunyan, Yo-kai medal do your thing."

Legendary!

Shogunyan

Shogunyan appeared right by his modern-day counterpart. Ready to fight.

Whisper exclaimed, "You summoned Shogunyan! He is a legendary Yo-kai he must have better things to do than this. You really shouldn't call him unless of emergencies."

Nate and Jibanyan shouted, "This isn't an emergency?!"

Shogunyan said, "No I am happy to be of assistance anytime. It is an honor to be called upon in such a dire time."

Whisper's jaw dropped and Lucas said, "Nice job Shogunyan should be able to wipe the floor with all those Yo-kai."

Shogunyan sniffed the air and asked, "Do I smell fish."

Lucas said, "Yeah we are fighting fish Yo-kai."

Shogunyan exclaimed, "I love fish! It's so good."

Jibanyan agreed, "I knyow right but here try this it's even better." Jibanyan handed Shogunyan a chocobar.

Nate asked, "Where the heck did you get that?!"

Jibanyan replied, "From your bag, duh Nyate."

Shogunyan ate the chocobar and said with delight, "This is amazing! I love it so. I wonder what it tastes like with fish."

Whisper said, "Can we please focus on the matter at hand."

Shogunyan declared, "Right! Let's go." Shogunyan pulled out his sword and said, "Protect-The-Seals-fishy-fish-Slash." Shogunyan vanquished nearly every fish Yo-kai with almost no help.

Nate gleamed, "Amazing!"

Whisper beamed, "Astounding!"

Lucas said, "Awesome." All that was left were the three main fish.

Tunatic raged, "What!? You just took down an army of fish!"

Blowkade said, "Well you aren't getting passed us." The last Yo-kai stayed silent.

Shogunyan said, "We shall see about that."

Tunatic said, "Frenzied Rage." and summoned swirling flames that he manipulated with his knife. The flames were like blades and Tunatic threw them at Shogunyan.

Whisper said, "Look out!"

Blowkade said, "You won't escape." who made sure that Shogunyan couldn't escape. Noway jumped in the way though blocking the attack. Jibanyan, Komasan, Komajiro, and Walkappa then took the chance to hit Tunatic and Blowkade. Tunatic was hit by a combo that Walkappa and Komajiro had been working on, Walkappa soaked Tunatic and the Komajiro zapped Tunatic. Tunatic then flopped to the floor defeated. Komasan hit Blowkade with a ball of fire and Jibanyan ended it with a few punches. Now all that was left was Shrook.

Lucas said, "Don't worry Nate we'll take care of them." All of Lucas' Yo-kai friends then charged Shrook. Shrook then hit them all with a dark aura and they stopped in their tracts. They all fell to the floor but they were weaker.

Blizzaria said, "You'll pay for that." Blizzaria then tried to freeze the shark Yo-kai but when she held out her hands to try to freeze the Yo-kai nothing happened.

Zerberker said, "I'll handle this." but then stopped, "Huh what is this feeling. I feel different. Is this angry, rage, frustration, annoyance. No, it is something else."

Lucas said, "Oh no I forgot Shrook can make anyone an amateur so they won't be overwhelming him like I thought."

Nate said, "Huh?"

Whisper said, "Well you see Nate Shrook can make anyone only averagely good at what they do. So since Blizzaria is a powerful cryokinetic Shrook made her only able to form ice. Zerberker is good at going into a frenzy but Shrook made him lose that ability by taking away his rage, for Everfore she loses her ability to drain youth, and Beelzebold loses his overwhelming courage and boldness. So now they can barely fight they might still be able to outmatch him.

Shrook said, "That's what you think." Shrook then attacked the weakened Rank-S Yo-kai by chomping them before they could even react. "Haha with the power from this seal I can take down anyone I weaken."

Lucas said, "Oh no that's not good."

Whisper echoed, "That's not good at all."

Shrook then looked at Shogunyan and said, "I've always wanted to make a Legendary Yo-kai weak. This will prove my strength." Shrook then cast another aura this time Shogunyan's way. Shogunyan readied his blade in front of him ready to slice the inspiritment.

Shogunyan said, "I will defeat you, you filthy snake."

Shrook said, "I'm a shark you moron and you are too late." Right before Shogunyan was going to be hit. Jibanyan jumped in front of his ancestor taking the inspiritment. Jibanyan went down.

Shogunyan looked at his descendent and said, "NOOO! Why Jibanyan."

Jibanyan said, "It will be fine but you are the only one who can beat him."

Shogunyan vowed, "You shall be avenged! Shrook you are going down!"

Shrook laughed, "Haha you may have dodged that one but the next one will make you powerless." Shrook then sent another aura.

Nate, Lucas, Whisper, Komasan, Komajiro, and Walkappa said, "NOOOO!"

"No way!" said Noway blocking the assault again but this time Noway fell to the floor unable to protect anymore.

Shogunyan shed a tear, "You will not get away with this." Shogunyan then charged towards Shrook but Shrook just tossed another purple aura. However this time the inspiritment hit Nate who stood in front of Shogunyan.

Nate said, "I won't let you hurt my friends anymore."

Shogunyan said, "Nate."

Lucas asked in confusion, "Wait, why wasn't Nate affected?"

Whisper said, "Sadly for Nate's case he is truly just average other than the fact that he has a Yo-kai watch. He isn't particularly strong, smart, athletic nor does he specialize in any skill. Lucas said, "I don't believe that but if it is true then it sure is helpful right now."

Shrook looked worried, "What happened why did my inspiritment fail on you."

Nate said, "There are no skills to take here."

Shogunyan said, "Nate let's take this pompous imbecile down together!"

Nate said, "Yeah." Shrook kept sending inspirit after inspirit but Nate just took every single one.

Eventually, Nate and Shogunyan made it to Shrook who asked, "How? How can anyone be as skillless as you? It's impossible."

Nate was getting mad but before he could say anything Shogunyan hopped out from behind Nate and said, "How dare you insult my friend. Shameful-shark-avengement cut!" Shogunyan slashed Shrook so many times with his sword that the shark yo-kai was turned to sashimi. With Shrook gone everyone got back up and had their skills back.

Lucas said, "Good job you two."

Whisper said, "Now back to the seal. Hmm… Seal, Seal, as broke as a hag, you are now fixed like a shiny cab. Seal you're cured." The aura from the seal disappeared.

Nate asked, "Um Noway can you not guard this seal."

Noway said, "No way." and stood in front of the statue.

Nate asked, "And can you not use your soultimate."

Noway said, "No Way. Through." Noway took a defensive position and a yellow seal made of aura formed.

Nate said, "Thanks."

Jibanyan said, "Nyice move Nyate."

Lucas said, "Hey Beelzebold and Zerberker can you stay here to help protect this seal."

Beelzebold said, "Yes. It will be fun messing with these two."

Zerberker growled, "Why you."

Whisper said, "Now this way, there are two seals in Breezy Hills. Quickly."

Nate said, "Okay whisper right behind you. Good luck you three." Lucas, Nate, Whisper, and the other Yo-kai ran through the tunnel that connected Downtown to Breezy Hills. When they made it to the other end of the tunnel they all saw that the Breezy Hills was overrun with Yo-kai everywhere. It probably had the largest amount of Yo-kai in the city. There were at least a hundred and fifty Yo-kai. The only place with more Yo-kai would be the golden egg downtown before Fidgephant.

Lucas said, "that is a lot of Yo-kai."

Whisper said, "Indeed it is, It will be impossible to fight them all of and an inspirit would be ineffective."

Jibanyan said, "We can still do this Nyan. It will be a piece of cake."

Shogunyan said, "That's the spirit my stupendous descendent. We will save this town my word as a samurai."

Komasan asked, "Well by golly mister how the heck are we going to do it?"

Nate said, "Hmm well I am not exactly sure."

Komajiro said, "Don't cha worry Nate you'll think of something."

Lucas asked, "Hey Whisper where is the next seal."

Whisper said, "The next one is in the middle of the pond, it is that gazebo."

Lucas said, "I have an idea Nate come on let's go." Nate nodded and the boys and the Yo-kai ran to the pond front. "Blizzaria can you freeze the water here so we can walk across?"

Walkappa saw the water and said, "Oh yeah time to go for a swim I'll meet you, dudes, there."

Blizzaria said, "Sure I can freeze the water." with the wave of her hand she froze the water.

Nate said, "Woah."

Lucas said, "Now let's go." With Blizzaria in the front, the kids and the Yo-kai walked across the pond. When they got there Lucas said, "Whisper you fix the seal while the rest of us protect you."

Whisper said, "Okay but it will take me a little time for me to remember this one."

Nate and Jibanyan, as well as an unimpressed Blizzaria, said, "Really Whisper."

Shogunyan said, "Lookout."

Everfore said, "Well that's not good. We're under attack." There were six Yo-kai attacking two were blue boys who were smiling wide in nothing shorts, a cape, and a pair of geta, then the other six were wallet-like clamshells floating in the air four were green while the other two were red.

Nate asked, "Who are those Yo-kai?"

Whisper said, "Those are Lodo, the boys in capes, and the shellfish are Spenp and Almi in one way or another they all just make people poor."

Lucas said, "That must be why they are targeting Breezy Hills this is where the money is at."

Everfore and Blizzaria said, "We'll take care of them quickly." and before any of the enemy, Yo-kai could react they were all knocked out cold by two female Yo-kai.

Nate said, "Wow that was fast."

Lucas said, "Nice job you two."

Shogunyan said, "Just beautiful. You two battled with power and grace."

Whisper said, "Oh I got it Roses are red, Violets are blue Seal you are good as new!" and the aura from the seal disappeared.

Komasan tugged Nate's pants and asked, "Hey um Nate. Um, can I guard this Seal? I would protect it like it was my old shrine."

Nate smiled and said, "Of course you can thanks Komasan."

Komajiro said, "And I'll help my big bro protect it. You can count on count on us Nate."

Komasan said, "Darn right you can."

Nate smiled again at the brothers, "I know I can."

Everfore came up to the two brothers and said, "I'll help these two cuties protect this shrine too."

Whisper said, "Then let's go the next one is near the edge of town."

Jibanyan said, "Nyo time to lose."

Lucas asked, "Blizzaria can you make another bridge."

Blizzaria said, "Of course." and just like before Blizzaria made another ice bridge to connect the pond. The group made their way through the chaos of the city. Blizzaria, Jibanyan, Shogunyan, and Walkappa all battling their hardest to keep the enemy Yo-kai at bay, of course, Lucas and Nate gave them plenty of food to keep them healthy.

Nate asked, "Hey Whisper do Yo-kai need to eat?"

Whisper replied, "Well no not really but we do love the taste of food it is simply the best when we get our hands on our favorite food. Most Yo-kai can't really get hungry but—"

Nate shouted, "Hey that means you didn't have to eat all those Choco bars!" Whisper and Lucas sweatdropped.

Jibanyan said, "Um well, I nyeed good food to keep fighting every day."

Nate argued, "You don't need it you just want it."

Whisper said, "Um well what I was going to say was that Yo-kai can have an appetite that is hard to control."

Jibanyan said, "Ha see Nyate."

Nate then yelled, "You're taking his side?!" Lucas sweatdropped again. The next seal was located at a traditional-looking mansion on the corner of Breezy Hills right before the first that led to Mount Wildwood. There they found a garden lantern that was surrounded by a purple aura the same as the last ones.

Nate said, "Whisper go fix it."

Whisper said, "Okay." but right as Whisper moved closer puffs of purple smoke came from the ground and six Yo-kai appeared. "Oh no that's Snee and Awevil two of the evilest yo-kai in existence. And Damona and Chymera two of the strongest. Oh and then there's Snobetty and Tyrat to of the most self absorbed."

Shogunyan said, "I'll take Snee no one evil should wield a sword." Shogunyan then fought with the evil swordsman with a cursed blade.

Blizzaria glared at her dark lookalike and said, "I'll take the dark wannabe." up in the air it became a clash of ice.

Jibanyan said, "I guess I'll face Awevil."

Walkappa said, "So that leaves me with Snobetty and Tyrat."

Lucas said, "There's still Chymera who is a big threat."

Nate said, "Don't worry I got this, come on out my friend, calling Dandoodle, Yo-kai medal do your thing." Nate caught the coin and inserted it into his watch.

The handsome legendary counterpart to Manjimutt came and asked, "What do you need Nate, You have my services at your disposal."

Nate said, "Dandoodle I need you to attract the attention of those Yo-kai so we can take them down."

Dandoodle said, "So you want me as a distraction am I right. Well okay, I guess I am happy to help." Dandoodle then walked up and flashed his signature smile and just like that everyone except a certain someone looked at him. They were all in awe at his looks which was the perfect time for Shogunyan to strike and with a quick few cuts he defeated all of the enemy Yo-kai at once.

Nate, Lucas, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Blizzaria all said in awe, "Awesome!"

Shogunyan said, "That is the power of two legendary Yo-kai for you."

Dandoodle said, "Hmm not many can resist my looks you are very impressive Shogunyan."

Shogunyan said, "Well I am a well-trained Samurai that means no distractions."

Whisper said, "We were all very lucky to see that."

Nate said, "Wow the power of two legendary Yo-kai."

Lucas said, "Imagin the power of all the legendary Yo-kai."

Jibanyan said, "Woah I wish I was a legendary Yo-kai."

Whisper said, "Well you are not in fact it is extremely hard to earn the title of legendary. I am lucky to be a legendary Yo-kai butler."

Jibanyan retorted, "In your dreams nyan."

Shogunyan said, "We will protect this seal."

Dandoodle said, "Yeah with our combined strengths we are unbeatable."

Shogunyan said, "Now go and save this amazing town."

Nate asked, "Are you sure we could really use you."

Lucas said, "Nate this area seems to be filled with powerful Yo-kai I think it's best if we let them stay here."

Nate said, "Okay then. Good luck you two."

Dandoodle said, "Thanks but we won't need it, good luck to you though oh and here." Dandoodle tossed Nate a ring with a heart on it.

Nate said, "thanks." then the group ran off to the final seal.

Lucas said, "Oh wait we forgot to fix that seal."

Whisper said, "Well actually we didn't have to. The seal was fixed by Dandoodle's good looks those can heal Yo-kai, humans, and even connections to other worlds."

Jibanyan said, "cool."

Whisper said, "Okay the last seal is at the school."

Nate said, "Okay. wait why didn't you tell us this earlier."

Whisper said, "I tried to but then Jibanyan butted in and by then it was too late."

Jibanyan said, "Don't you put this on me."

Blizzaria said, "Quiet." Whisper and Jbanyan stopped cold. Then they heard and saw it. Mina and Zoey were out being chased by some Yo-kai. Lucas and Nate looked at them both somewhat worried Lucas more than Nate.

Lucas said, "I'm going after them head on without me."

Nate said, "Lucas wait."

Lucas said, "Nate they are my closest friends and my first ones. I want to help them and I can you know how that feels don't you."

Nate then wore a sad little smile but said, "I do but that's not what I was going to say go help them we'll be fine but here take these." Nate tossed Lucas a few of his Yo-kai medals.

Lucas smiled but shook his head, "I'll be fine too who knows who you'll face at the last seal besides Blizzaria can handle anything." Lucas then tossed back the medals. Lucas then ran off in the direction the two ghosthunting girls ran.

Blizzaria gave a wink and assured, "Don't worry I'll protect him besides he can handle himself he's got an ace up his sleeve if you know what I mean. Well, good luck." Blizzaria then floated after Lucas.

Nate said, "Good luck to you too."

Whisper said, "Now come. We need to hurry." Nate, Jibanyan, and Walkappa then started for the school again with Whisper leading the way. Yet Nate couldn't help but frown I wonder how my friends are doing in this? Nate thought and he imagined the possibilities.

AN: So yeah this was a long one I was hoping to squeeze everything in but I failed well at least I came up with an interesting idea. This was a long and battle-packed chapter but it was important. Oh and by the way I will be giving Nate a collection of random Yo-kai and a few he may befriend "off-screen" but most of them won't be too crazy powerful just warning he may have certain Yo-kai that may be unbelievable or canon to either game or anime.
