Chapter 20

Gloomy days and Another Battle

AN: So here we have chapter 20, made it to 20 chapters I feel good about this anyway I don't want to go to do into this. Hope you Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I still don't own yo-kai watch, if I did then there would be no split between the 2 yo-kai watch 2 and yo-kai watch 3 games.

It was another day of summer. Today Nate was going over to Eddie's they were going to meet at Triangle Park where they were going to meet with Bear and Lucas. Nate was going with just Whisper. Jibanyan was too tired from the "fusion fight" to come he was probably just lazing about which was fine with Nate if things got messy which he hoped wouldn't happen, he could just summon Jibanyan.

Whisper said, "Oh what's happening here."

Nate came into the park and saw Eddie and with him were three girls. Eddie along with two of the three girls were trying to comfort the other girl who was crying.

One of the girls trying to comfort the crying one had short brown hair parted evenly, and she wore a blue sweater over a white collared shirt, she had fair skin and despite trying to comfort one of the girls her face still showed little expression yet some who you could tell she was worried, the other had short purple hair with bangs in front, she had violet-blue eyes, that were covered by a pair of round glasses, she wore a blue shirt covered by a pink cardigan, unlike the first girl her face was filled with expression and emotional empathy for the crying girl who had blue hair that was put into a braided ponytail, She wore a yellow dress and brown sandals.

Whisper said, "Oh no, it seems like we have a sad girl."

Nate came over and asked, "What's going? Eddie?"

Eddie said, "Uh well first well these two are my friends the girl with the blue hair is Jessica Stonewood and the purple-haired one with glasses is Hailey Anne Thomas."

Nate asked, "Um who is she?"

The girl in question said, "You know we can hear you, I'm Ashley and you're Nathen Adams."

Nate asked, "You know me?"

Ashley said, "Yes all three of us are in the class right next to yours. Class 5-1"

Nate said, "Oh that's why I don't know you but what's up with Jessica?"

Whisper said, "Isn't it obvious Jessica is distressed."

Nate mumbled, "I know that but I don't' know why."

Eddie said, "Well you see…"

Hailey burst in, "She is super duper sad about getting a bad grade on a test."

Nate questioned, "Test? But School is over."

Ashley said, "It was a test before the end of school duh, luckily it wasn't the finals but it still was a bad grade."

Hailey exclaimed, "I thought she was just scared to tell her parents but it's so much worse."

Nate asked, "Over one little test?"

Ashley and Hailey showed him the test and he paled.

Jessica said, "I know it's that bad I can't believe I allowed myself to do so bad. I am such an idiot" she then started tearing up again.

Nate said, "This isn't right somethings up this has got to be the work of a yo-kai."

Whisper said, "No, no sorry but there are just some kids who cry over split milk like this."

Lucas then said, "Nope it's the work of yo-kai." Whisper and Nate were both surprised.

Nate asked, "Lucas when did you get here?"

Lucas said, "just got here but this is the work of yo-kai I checked."

Nate said, "Really." Nate pulled out his watch and shined the light on all the yo-kai there. A Negatibuzz, a Tengloom, and a Buhu. Tengloom seemed to be the ring leader in all of it. All three of them were inspiriting Jessica.

Whisper said, "What? All three of them, this is really bad all three of them can be an infectious virus of despair that can wipe out entire generations."

Nate said, "Then it's a good thing that Lucas noticed them, unlike some useless butler I know."

Lucas said, "I guess that means we have to take care of them."

Nate said, "Let's try reasoning with them first."

Lucas said, "That's a good idea, Nate." Lucas came up to them and asked, "Um can you please stop inspiriting this girl please?' but they all just ended up inspiriting him causing another Buhu and Negatibuzz to fly over.

Whisper said, "I guess then it's time to fight them then."

Nate said, "Lucas no! Okay come on out my yo-kai friend calling Happierre. Yo-kai medal do your thing."

The yellow cloud said, "Bonjour. What can I help you with Nathan."

Nate asked, "Can you neutralize there negative aura please Happierre?"

Happierre said, "Why of course delighted to be of service." Happierre then created his signature aura and Jessica and Lucas were freed from the inspiritment.

Lucas said, "I guess that didn't work. Don't worry Nate I got things from here. Calling powerful soul, with this watch I ask for your help." Lucas pulled out his yo-kai watch and inserted one medal, out came red light.

Sheen

Sheen asked, "What can I do for you Lucas?"

Lucas said, "I need you to deal with these five yo-kai."

Sheen said, "You got it." and with a quick flash of his legendary blade he took out all five of the yo-kai.

Lucas said, "Thank you, Sheen."

Sheen said, "It was my pleasure." and then Sheen jumped away.

Nate said, "That was quick."

Whisper said, "What mastery."

Happierre said, "Quite the show of skill, I guess my work here is done." and Happierre left.

Jessica then stopped crying and said, "I'm so sorry guys, I know I did really bad on a test but everyone does. I overreacted. Sorry I caused you all trouble."

Hailey hugged Jessica and said, "There's the Jessica I know and love back, and don't worry you'll do harder on all the tests next year and I'll be there to help you study."

Ashley said, "Well I am glad that's over."

Eddie said, "Yeah I didn't like seeing Jessica sad."

Whisper said, "That's good, problem solved."

Lucas said, "Yeah I can't believe I fell for their little trap."

Nate said, "Yeah but you finished them off super quick."

Bear then came and asked, "Hey guys what's going on?" They all just stared at him.

Hailey said, "Hi I'm Hailey Anne but please just call me Hailey,"

Jessica said, "I'm Jessica me and Hailey are close friends of Eddies."

Ashley said, "I'm Ashley I am friends with Hailey and Jessica."

Bear said, "Um hi I'm Bear."

Eddie said, "Um sorry for all the confusion it's a weird story." and Eddie went on trying to explain, with Hailey popping in at random, and Jessica saying a few things to her embracement, and Ashley adding extra details."

Nate said, "Hey Lucas I know we might not have the time but I have been wanting to do this for a while. I wanna have another battle."

Lucas said, "I thought you'd never ask."

Whisper said, "Oh this should be great fun."

Nate said, "Yeah so let's go," Nate pulled out his watch and held down the button, and out came a green circle with six Yo-kai medals in six slots in the circle. Okay calling all my yo-kai friends. Yo-kai medals do your thing." The hands on the watch spun and landed on Grainpa.

Grainpa appeared alongside Jibanyan, Shogunyan, Robonyan, Appak, and Tattlecast.

Grainpa asked, "Hey what's going on here."

Nate said, "Grainpa we talked about this I called you here for battle."

Grainpa said, "Oh well then this should be fun."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah we all got so much stronger, nyow let's show 'em what we're made of."

Lucas said, "Haha this will be fun and you have gotten stronger I see you equipped all your yo-kai Nate." That was true Nate had Appak with his bottle, Grainpa with a heart ring, Tattlecast with the illusion ring, Jibanyan with the brace, Robonyan with the charm, and Shogunyan with the badge."

Whisper said, "With my strategical knowledge I was able to teach Nate easily."

Lucas said, "That may be true but I don't think it can stand up to my friends. Calling Great Spirits, with the power embedded in this watch I call upon thy," a golden circle appeared on the watch similar to Nate's and out came a grand spiral of light. Lucas had summoned, a red-skinned man floating on a cloud with a stern face, and a smiling woman on a cloud, Cruncha, Hornaplenty, Blizzaria, and Gilgaros."

Nate asked, "Who are those two yo-kai?"

Whisper pulled out his yo-kai pad and said, "Well the angry red one is Papa bolt he is the father of all fathers you don't want him mad."

Nate asked, "He isn't Mad?"

Whisper continued, "And the other is Mama Aura, she is the mother of all mothers though nurturing, she can also be strict or protective sometimes she is scarier than Papa bolt."

Lucas said, "then let's get this thing started." Mama Aura, Papa bolt, and Blizzaria floated back letting Gilgaros lead the charge with Cruncha and Hornaplenty on both his sides. Gilgaros roared with both beetles also letting out their battle cries. On Nate's side, Shogunyan lead the charge, followed by his red-furred descendent, and the Kappa warrior. Grainpa stayed back healing from behind. Tattlecast got closer to the action blasting her speaker to heal her teammates and weaken as well as damage her rivals. Robonyan flew high in the sky going around the main battle and attacking the elemental attackers.

Whisper said, "Nate you can help Tattlecast out by showing her who to inspirit with the target function on your watch."

Nate said, "okay." and he double-clicked the button on his watch to create the target pin shooter. He then hit Gilgaros with it and Tattlecast started blasting all of Gilgaros' secrets.

The speakers said, "Gilgaros has a weak spot on his right knee."

Shougunyan said, "Oh okay." and the cat samurai then slashed the golden Oni with his sword right in the knee dealing critical damage.

The legendary yo-kai roared in pain and the two powerhouses went back to fighting.

Jibanyan was clashing with Hornaplenty, the cat yo-kai wished he was like his two partners because they had swords something that would be useful against a guy who kept blocking all of Jibanyan's hits. Hornaplenty would even sometimes catch his attacks and fling Jibanyan into the ground.

The beetle yo-kai laughed, "Haha you are so puny this is easy."

The other Beetle yo-kai, on the other hand, was having a harder time. Appak was just as fast if not faster than the stag, and equipped with a water Katana Appak was able to land powerful blows as well as block or dodge all of Cruncha's kicks, punches, and pinches not to mention Appak was a master at water manipulation using it to move and attack as well as defend. Appak constantly created powerful torrents of water to hit Cruncha. He moved on a torrent like he was surfing going up and down and sideways, he even got Cruncha confused by using the water to fake Cruncha out.

The only damage Appak took was when Papa bolt blasted him with lightning and when that happened Cruncha did his best to make the most of that vulnerable moment. Cruncha pinched Appak out of the water and did massive damage but Appak slipped away. It may have been rough for Jibanyan, Appak, and Shogunyan but they were constantly being healed by Grainpa, and sometimes Tattlecast.

Robonyan really had it rough, he may have been a powerful tank but he had to fight both Blizzaria and Papa bolt both were powerful elemental yo-kai. Robonyan his best flying around hitting all of Lucas' back yo-kai with powerful rocket punches and it felt good to get healed though rarely every once in a while.

Nate said, "Looks like Jibanyan is having trouble."

Whisper said, "It must be hard being the weakest yo-kai out there but maybe if he tried a different strategy he might have better results."

Nate asked, "What do you mean Whisper?"

Whisper said, "Well you see Nate he may not have the strongest but Jibanyan can fight elementally too with his tail flames and that might be better than just a regular punch."

Nate said, "Oh." Nate then shouted, "Jibanyan try attacking with your fire power."

Jibanyan was thrown to the ground again despite the healing he couldn't take much more he heard Nate and despite how he wasn't used to it he used his tails to fight.

While Hornaplenty had Jibanyan in his hands Jibanyan burned his hands with his tail flames.

Hornaplenty shouted, "Ahhhh!" and Jibanyan started pelting the beetle with fireballs from his tails.

That's when the tables turned. Appak was finally defeated by a jolt from papa bolt who despite being weakened and tired from fighting Robonyan did just enough to defeat the kappa warrior.

Lucas said, "Blizzaria now."

Blizzaria said, "you got it, Shiny Snowdrifts." And after focusing her power she let it all out in a powerful snowstorm blast that finally defeated Robonyan.

Nate said, "No Appak, Robonyan Jibanyan use your soultimate."

Jibanyan said, "Okay Nyate. Paws of fury." and like that Jibanyan unleashed a barrage of punches that not even Hornaplenty was able to withstand. The rhino beetle yo-kai watch defeated.

Cruncha then came in and said, "The Guillotine." as he pinched Jibanyan between his two pincers defeating the cat yo-kai.

Lucas said, "Now Gilgargos finish this with your soultimate."

Gilgaros shouted, "Golden Beatdown." as he jumped in the air ready to attack with his finishing move.

Nate said, "Tattlecast quick."

Tattlecast said, "Max Volume 11." Tattlecast dropped both her speakers and rocketed up to where Gilgaros was slapped him. The Oni was snapped out of the attack and fell to the ground having taken a lot of damage.

Nate said, "now Shogunyan finish this with your soultimate."

Shogunyan said, "My pleasure. With the power of one thousand swords, Bonito Blade." Shogunyan then unleashed a series of powerful slashes that dealt massive damage to all of Lucas' team. Cruncha was defeated, Blizzaria was defeated, Papa bolt was defeated, and mama aura was defeated, and Gilgaros fell.

Nate said, "Yes!"

Whisper said, "good job Shogunyan."

Nate said, "good job all of you." but then just as Shogunyan expected Gilgaros got back up. Shogunyan jumped up ready to counter-attack but he was too late. Gilgaros hit him with his club and sent the cat flying into Tattlecast and Grainpa. All three were defeated.

Whisper said, "oof that's gotta hurt."

Nate said, "Well guess I better get to healing." as he brought out a purple powder from his bag and also brought out food for all the yo-kai. Lucas did the same with all the other yo-kai. Soon they were all back on their feet and feeling good again.

Nate said, "I guess you won again Lucas."

Lucas said, "Yeah but you got pretty close this time your two healers were powerful and all your yo-kai team members did a lot of damage you're all getting stronger."

Nate said, "No it's all them."

Lucas said, "Well it seems like they all had fun."

Shogunyan was eating a chocolate-covered fish while talking to Gilgaros both legends had quite a bit to talk about. The Beetles were talking with the elderly yo-kai and the rest were just having fun with each other.

Eddie said, "Okay come on guys it looks like we're all going to hang out at the museum since we have so many people."

Nate said, "Okay be right there dude."

Lucas said, "ha, this will be cool."

Nate asked, "why? You like museums?"

Lucas said, "Well yeah but also the ghost club is going to investigate here and I wanted to tell Eddie."

Nate said, "Really?"

Lucas said, "Yup you wanna come Nate?"

Nate said, "Not really but I guess I'll try when is it?"

Lucas said, "Tonight."

AN: So first off there was another battle between Lucas and Nate, I hope you guys liked that. Next, I decided it was a while since I put Hailey in a chapter so here she is not much but expect a little more if her next time. Finally the big part Nate and co are all going to the Museum I bet and at this point, I am almost certain all of you know what's coming next. Hope you liked it. Please review.
