Chapter 22

A Different Perspective #2

AN: Another one of these chapters this one explains what happened with Lucas and sort of completes the last chapter. I told you I would do another one of these and this chapter last seems perfect for it. Nate will not really make any appearance in this until the end which is sort of the point I guess. This will also probably end up being a short chapter. I hope you like it.

Disclaimer: I still don't own yo-kai watch if I did I would have made Mirapo stronger and more in the past.

Lucas' POV

Okay, I just need to find a Mirapo. Great time to forget your Mirapo medal Lucas. I thought to myself. We were in the museum and I knew we were going to run into a yo-kai that was usual for Lina and Zoey I just didn't think we would run into one this powerful. I guess I should have expected that with Nate around. I don't know what it is I just know that so far I have run into a lot stronger yo-kai together not all the time but a lot. Maybe Lina's right maybe we do have special auras maybe that's why there were so many powerful yo-kai.

"Whisper you should go check upstairs you'll get up there faster and you were up there with Nate and Hailey," I said.

"Okay. I'm on it." said the so-called yo-kai butler before he floated up to the top half of the building. Okay now to find that mirror yo-kai. I ran over to slam my shoulder into the door much to everyone's surprise.

Lina asked worried, "Lucas are you okay."

Zoey asked, "Yeah, What were you thinking." my shoulder did hurt but I was fine.

Eddie said, "You can't just hurt yourself like that dude."

I replied, "I'm fine and it was worth the shot."

Hailey said, "Not if you have to sacrifice your arm though it would be so cool if you had it replaced by a super cool metal arm that could…" I stopped listening to Hailey she was stopped by Eddie anyway.

I grabbed Lina and pulled her away from the group and said, "Lina I need your help."

Lina said, "Um okay are you planning an exit from the back or something."

I said, "Um well sort of… how do I put this, you know how you can sense spirits."

Lina said, "Yeah we're running from one right now though it does seem... small compared to the armor."

I said, "Well what you were sensing and what the spirit is is called a yo-kai. Ghosts really are really you were right the whole time."

Lina said, "Of course I was why did you believe otherwise." she said with her tiny smile.

I smiled back and said, "No I have been able to see them ever since I was born and even if I didn't I would have believed you."

Lina said, "Wait so you can see them."

I said, "Yup."

Lina questioned, "Then why didn't you tell us."

I said, "Well I wanted to protect you and Zoey, you guys were my first human friends but right now I need you. We need to get out of here and there is a yo-kai here who can help us. I may be able to see yo-kai but I can't sense them like you can."

Lina said, "Oh okay."

I pulled out my yo-kai watch and gave it to Lina, "This is a yo-kai watch if you use the lens you can use it to search for the yo-kai to see it."

Lina said, "Okay."

I said, "Oh yeah, and we're looking for a yo-kai that looks like a mirror."

Lina said, "Okay."

I said, "Oh and can you not tell anyone else about that I don't want them in danger."

Lina asked, "Then why trust me?"

I said, "Well your my best friend even if I'm not yours." Lina frowned but then smiled and said, "Well you're one of my best friends."

Hailey's POV

How long can two people argue? I thought exasperated. Eddie and Zoey were still arguing about if the suit of armor ghost was really or not. I couldn't believe this was happening we were being chased by a suit of samurai armor ghost or not that was awesome but also scary considering it had a crazy sharp sword and had a look in its eye like it wanted to be left alone. It was crazy how that average kid still close to the armor not running. I didn't know if he was super brave or extremely stupid. He wasn't that close but it looked like he was fighting it somehow. Something was causing it to get pushed back.

Zoey said, "Of course there's a ghost even if the armor isn't a ghost you can't explain why it looks like it's fighting something that's not there."

Eddie said, "Well it could just be faulty programming because it's a robot or some sort of loose gear." the armor then broke open.

Zoey said, "Explain that."

Eddie said, "um… uh… um… It is really bad machinery."

Zoey said, "Uh… you're so stubborn."

Eddie said, "And you won't accept science." These two are impossible if I didn't ship Eddie with Shelly I would ship him with Zoey just because of how much they argue. It was already crazy what this average boy was doing and where the heck did Lucas and Lina go and how the heck have Zoey and Eddie not noticed anything.

Third-person POV

Lina found Mirapo and now she and Lucas were talking to it.

Lucas said, "So we need you now."

Mirapo said, "Um well I guess I could help but I am not sure any other Mirapo is open for use right now they may all be asleep."

Lina said, "Huh you all must be sleepy yo-kai."

Mirapo said, "Well not being used for 47 years can do that to yo-kai."

Lucas said, "It doesn't matter you're our best way out."

Mirapo said, "I guess I could give it a shot."

Lina said, "So this is what you do behind me and Zoey's backs."

Lucas said, "Well yes but come on Nate needs back up that yo-kai is extremely powerful."

Lina asked, "Wait, Nate is battling the armor?! Wait Nate can see yo-kai?!"

Lucas said, "Yeah, he's battling with yo-kai he and I summoned and he recently just gained the ability using a watch like the one I let you use."

Lina said, "Oh so you and Nate can summon yo-kai."

Lucas said, "Yeah with the power of that watch."

Lina said, "Cool."

Mirapo said, "Wow I can't believe it three kids who can see yo-kai I don't think I have seen that in about 60 years now."

Lucas said, "Huh that's about when the first yo-kai watch was made that makes sense." that's about when the three heard, "Cursed Slash."

"Oh no Nate!" said Lucas, "Come on let's go." and the three ran.

That brings us back to the present time.

"Wait, you can see yo-kai?!" exclaimed Nate.

"Yes because I told her about them and let her use my yo-kai watch," said Lucas to his friend.

"I was already able to sense them anyway so I would have found out eventually," said Lina.

"Um… well welcome to the curse of having a yo-kai watch," said Nate with a weak smile.

"That's still my watch. Lina you can choose to stay in the world of yo-kai or you could forget it all if you want," said Lucas.

"Well, of course, I want to stay in it, it explains a lot and what type of ghost hunter would I be if I couldn't see any ghosts," said Lina.

Nate said, "Are you sure it's going to be dangerous."

"I'm sure," said Lina.

"Okay then we'll get your own yo-kai watch soon," said Lucas, "after this we get out of here, Nate take some of this mighty medicine. You did great by yourself."

Nate said, "Well you know I am never alone."

Lucas said, "I guess that's true."

"Okay that's the last of them," said Mirapo, "Here you two go take my medal." as he tossed his medal to Nate and Lina. "Oh and if you see any Mirapo feel free to wake them up."

Nate said, "Okay."

Lina said, "Got it."

Lucas said, "Sure thing." Mirapo the disappeared. They along with their other three friends were all out in front of the museum luckily there was a Mirapo outside and awake.

Eddie asked, "How did we get outside?"

Zoey said, "duh ghosts."

Hailey said, "Or aliens either way so cool." And they started arguing again. All the other yo-kai left leaving only Jibanyan with them.

Jibanyan said, "well that was fun and all nyan but *yawn* I'm tired let's go."

Nate said, "It is getting late."

Eddie said, "Let's just drop it Zoey we both got to see something really cool and that's good enough."

Zoey said, "Sure but it was a ghost."

Eddie said, "Urhhh." but then took a breath and said, "See you I'm out."

Hailey said, "Byyyye."

Lina said, "See you tomorrow Lucas."

Lucas said, "See you bye Nate." And Nate just waved to all his friends.

Jibanyan complained, "Come on Nyate let's go."

Nate said, "Okay but I feel like I forgot something."

Jibanyan said, "If you forgot it then it's probably not important."

Nate said, "Yeah you're probably right."

Back in the museum

The mouse was trying to rebuild Phantasmurai. When suddenly a shadow loomed above him and he ran away.

A shady voice said, "awe I wanted to tell you how good your craftsmanship is. You are a smart mouse though I would have run away too. This armor will be very helpful." there was then a flash of light and just like that the armor of Phantasmurai was gone.

Meanwhile, on the top floor of the museum, a white ghost was saying, "Hey Mirapo where are you. I need your help." Whisper said, "Huh I thought it would be easier to find that yo-kai now that there's no more loud noise."

AN: There we have it chapter 22 and in one day too. So Lina has joined the club of yo-kai watchers and everything is explained. I hope you liked it not much to add other than please review I really appreciate feedback and suggestions I have quite a bit planned I actually ended up with the next 10-13 chapters in my head but I could use so future fillers I don't want everything to be boss and then boss then boss.
