Chapter 23

Laughter, Electricity, and Anger.

AN: Okay sorry for the long wait for this. I spent a couple days mourning the death of my crossover fic The Chronicals of the virtual Heroes which is now up for adoption I hope it get's adopted soon I couldn't handle writing it and I think it is such a good idea. I also am having a hard time updating now that my classes are back in motion. Didn't think things would start out like this. I also decided to do a couple Pokemon oneshots that I won't be releasing for at least another month and a half but I was inspired so I put pen to paper now. Anyway I tried to do this but it is probably not the best especially considering the wait. I still hope you all enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I still don't own yo-kai watch if I did it probably wouldn't be as good as it.

Nate knew it wouldn't last. It was so great to have a couple of days of peace. Yet he knew it would end soon it was three days since the night at the museum and now Nate was at the intersection watching Jibanyan train to beat a car. Sometimes the cat used Nate to help him out but for the most part, he was able to do it on his own he even gained a bit of a reputation the fish seller called this the strange slow intersection since cars slowed down a bit at the intersection. Jibanyan was still sent flying every time but at least he slowed the cars down. Nate gave Jibanyan food to keep him strong and had hungramps heal him when he came back and Blazion to keep him motivated as well as to just cheer him on.

"You're doing great Jibanyan," said Nate.

"Rah rah." cheered Blazion with a pair of fist pumps.

"Keep up the good work youngin," said hungramps. Whisper looked unimpressed but

didn't say anything.

"Yeah nyan!" said Jibanyan pumped up to fight. The red cat yo-kai was training hard you could tell because of the sweat dripping off of him, the blisters on his paws, and the fire in his eyes. They were ready to keep going but then a girl ran up to him. It was Lina though she wasn't accompanied by Lucas or Zoey, she looked worried.

She said, "Nate. I need your help."

Nate asked, "What's up and where's Lucas and Zoey."

Lina looked offended, "I have a life outside of them. Besides, I haven't told Zoey about yo-kai yet and I need some space from Lucas. He's been a bit overprotective of me ever since he told me about yo-kai and gave me a yo-kai watch." she raised her wrist to show a purple and blue styled, yo-kai watch.

Nate said, "Ooh nice watch hey how did you get yours colored."

Whisper said, "What I got basic white because I didn't know who the watch was going to be for."

Lina said, "Well I needed some space luckily I already made a few yo-kai friends like, Minimoto, Mudmunch, Diaz, and Confuse but I have a really bad problem."

Nate asked, "So what happened?"

Lina said, "Well I did my best to reason with some high ranked yo-kai like Lucas told me too and when that didn't work my yo-kai weren't strong enough to stand up to them I decided I needed help if I was ever going to beat the yo-kai causing mischief."

Nate said, "Oh okay I'll be happy to help. Just take me to the place."

Lina pulled out her Mirapo medal and inserted it into her watch, "Okay calling forth the spirits from the spirit world, yo-kai medal unlock this power, summoning Mirapo."

Lina took his arm and dragged him into the portal yo-kai.

Next thing they knew they were in shoppers row.

Lina said, "Okay come on follow me."

Nate asked, "what? What just happened."

Lina said, "Oh you haven't used Mirapo's ability yet? Well, we can go anywhere with another Mirapo with his help."

Nate said, "Oh cool."

Whisper said, "Yes there are tons of him all over the human and yo-kai world."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah yo-kai use him all the time."

Nate said, "Okay."

Lina said, "Come on let's go." Lina ran past shoppers row to the tranquility apartments. There were two boys there both about Nate's age. One had rounded eyes, brown hair parted to the left but still striking up in the right. He had a bucktooth and he wore an orange hoodie the other was a taller boy with black spiky hair, and he wore a blue shirt with white sleeves. They were both laughing and cracking horrible jokes.

Lina said, "These guys are Adam and Jack they are supposed to be the top comedians in the school."

Nate said, "Really but their horrible."

Jibanyan said, "It's nyot their fault they're being inspirited by two very powerful yo-kai."

Whisper said, "That's preposterous I think I would have sensed something if they were really that powerful."

Nate said, "There they are."

Whisper said, "What?"

Nate said, "Lucas trusted Lina, so I trust her too."

Lina said, "Thanks. So who are these creeps?"

Whisper said, "Um… well… uh."

Jibanyan said, "Those two are Compunzer and Lameidien the two worst jokers in all of the yo-kai world."

Nate said, "Okay so how are we going to beat them."

Jibanyan said, "I'll handle this let's go Paws of—" Jibanyan jumped at the two jokers and prepared to attack but then they cracked a bad joke.

Lameidien asked in a joking manner, "Hey, hey Compunzer what do you call a flying cat?"

Compunzer laughed and said, "I don't know, what do you call a flying cat?"

Lamedien said, "A meowoplane." both broke out into laughter but Jibanyan was instantly knocked out because of the horribly bad joke.

Nate said, "No Jibanyan."

Lina said, "See none of my yo-kai could handle their bad jokes I can't handle their bad jokes."

Nate said, "Yeah they are really bad."

Whisper said, "Hey maybe summon Heheheel he'll laugh at anything so maybe he can help."

Nate said, "Oh yeah. Okay come on out my friend, calling Heheheel, yo-kai medal do your thing."

Heheheel said, "Hey what's up hehehe."

Nate said, "Heheheel I need you to take down those two yo-kai."

Heheheel said, "Hehe Sure kid."

Lina said, "Oh cool a Tobiyou."

Nate asked, "What?"

Lina said, "A Tobiyou is a type of yo-kai but I guess names have changed." Heheheel moved up to the yo-kai and they cracked another joke.

Compunzer said, "Hey Lamedien I got a joke for you now."

Lamedien asked, "Ooh, what is it?"

Compunzer said, "Hehe I'm not feeling well, I think I might be eel." Lamedien, Compunzer, and Heheheel all started laughing.

Heheheel said, "Hehehehe, That was so horrible it was good. It wasn't even a joke it was just a pun. Hehehehehe."

Whisper said, "Hmmm well that didn't work maybe try Tattlecast."

Nate asked, "Why? Won't she just get inspirited too."

Whisper said, "No, well at least I don't think so, I hope so I mean Tattlecast is part Lafalotta I was thinking maybe she might be immune or something."

Nate said, "Well it's worth a shot here goes nothing. Come on out my yo-kai friend, come on out Tattlecast, yo-kai medal do your thing."

Nate asked, "Tattlecast can you take down these two yo-kai."

Tattlecast said, "Tell, tell. Tell tell." (Sure thing I am up for a battle.) Tattlecast then jumped at the two yo-kai. They were about to tell another joke but then Tattlecast blasted them with their truths. Her speakers said, "Lamedian hates Compunzer's jokes and thinks he's 10 times as funny as Compunzer. Compunzer thinks Lamedian has a horrible sense of humor." Both Jokers looked at each other first with confusion and then raging anger.

Compunzer said, "Oh ho no way you are better than me."

Lamedian said, "Well at least I actually know what humor actually is." The two then started to beat each other. Until they almost knocked each other out.

Heheheel said, "Haha I now this is funny."

Lamedian said, "Okay I'm out here take two of my medal kid."

Compunzer said, "Me too." Lamedian and Compunzer both left and gave both kids a copy of their medals.

Lina said, "Cool more yo-kai to add to my list of friends. Thanks Nate."

Nate said, "No problem. See you."

As Nate with Jibanyan in his arms and Whisper and Tattlecast at his side, Lina stared. Lina knew she was going to need more otherworldly allies if she was going to make it in the world of yo-kai.

Nate was home again just chilling in his room. Jibanyan was still recovering from the two joking yo-kai and Whisper was just on his yo-kai pad. When suddenly Nate's mother burst in saying, "Nate, can you help me out the TV is acting weird."

Nate said, "Be right there."

Jibanyan said, "Nyate I think there's a yo-kai here."

Nate asked, "Really? Which yo-kai?" as he scanned his room with the watch to fine nothing.

Whisper said, "Ha, for once I was right."

Jibanyan said, "You didn't say anything Whisper besides I still think there's a yo-kai in this house."

Nate said, "I'll check downstairs." Nate ran downstairs scanning with his watch but still didn't find anything yet. Nate's mom and dad were both downstairs messing with the cords for the TV

Nate's mom said, "Nate the TV just broke do you know what's wrong with it."

Nate's dad said, "We can't figure it out." Nate took a look at it and said, "No I can't figure it out it should be working."

Lily Adams then said, "That's it I am calling the manufacturer." Lily then went to grab the phone while Aaron kept trying to figure out what was wrong.

Nate scanned around and found a team of three yo-kai there were two yo-kai with yellow skin wearing yellow and black striped kimonos. The main one was a yo-kai that looked like an old weapons cabinet with arms and a head. They held a naginata.

Nate asked, "Okay who are and why did you mess with the TV?"

The weapons cabinet said, "I am B3-NK1 and these two are my loyal co-workers Signibble and Signibble they are named Sin and Bolt. I don't know why they call themselves that kids these days with their crazy names. And we are messing with this house's electronical appliances because I need screws and they need energy."

Nate asked, "Okay but why?"

B3-NK1 said, "Well because I want to upgrade my blade and these to need electrical energy."

Nate said, "Hmmm, can I please ask you guys to leave."

B3-NK1 said, "Well we were actually about to leave. You know most people would have kicked us out or attacked us but you're different here kid take this I would like to repay you." The Signibbles gave their medals to Nate too.

Nate said, "Oh thanks but um how do I fix this."

B3-NK1 said, "Well I recommend just giving it a tap." and the three yo-kai left surprisingly peacefully.

Nate said, "Well that was easier than I thought it would be." Nate tapped the TV screen and just like that the TV was back on. Sometimes a problem is fixed that simply. Things weren't over yet though. Nate's mother was extremely angry though after getting off the phone with the manufacturer. Nate could sense the raging aura from where he was standing.

His mom yelled, "Urhhhhh, I can't believe that lady on the phone she was so rude and they're the ones selling this piece of junk."

Nate's dad tried to calm things down, "Honey, honey calm down Nate fixed the TV."

His mom said, "Oh, and you, I found out that you bought golf clubs behind my back when you said I couldn't get a new pair of earrings. Urhhh."

Nate said, "Well I'm going back up to my room."

His mom said, "You mister haven't done a bit of your summer homework. You are in big trouble."

Nate said, "To himself okay this is weird there must be a yo-kai." Nate scanned right round his mother and there it was a team of six yo-kai. There were two small grey and yellow centipede with red antenna, red pinchers, and two red fangs. There was also a red oni with three eyes which Nate reconized as Tantroni. There were two angry boy-like yo-kai with red skin both stomping on the ground. Tunatic was the leader of the group. The red fish saw Nate and remembered the boy with rage.

In a split second Nate found himself up against a wall, his head only inches away from Tunatic's knife which was wedged into the wall.

Tunatic said, "I rember you. You're that kid who stopped me from attaining ultimate power. Oh I am going to kill you." Tunatic then grabbed his knife out of the wall and then said, "Any last words." Nate looked at the knife with fear this was really it wasn't it." Then all the sudden Whisper and Jibanyan jumped at the rage crazed yo-kai.

Whisper said, "Get that knife away from my master."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah we won't let you hurt Nyate."

Nate let out his breath, "Thanks guys. Okay calling all my yo-kai friends. Yo-kai medals do your things." Nate held down the button on his watch and out came a green circle with medals in it. The hands then spun and landed on Komasan.

Walla, Walla

Dance, Dance

Charming

Komasan! And friends.

Komasan and his brother Komajiro then appeared Komasan confused and amazed while Komajiro was just beaming. Along with Blazion, and Cadin, and Hungramps.

Komasan said, "No matter how many times it happens I am still amazed and confused. um… so what's up Nate?"

Nate said, "I need you guys to take on these angry yo-kai."

Cadin said, "Sure thing. *ming ming*"

Blazion said, "RAH!" Jibanyan continued to fight with Tunatic while Whisper said, "Okay that was a close one Nate. So those two stomping yo-kai are Hissfit and the two bugs are Irewigs. The koma brothers fought the two hissfit while Cadin and Blazion fought the two Irewigs while Tantroni inspirited Nate's team of yo-kai and Hungramps healed them all.

Evenatally all of Tantroni's inspiriting got to all the yo-kai. Komasan and Komajiro started striking Cadin and Blazion with fire and lightning. Cadin and Blazion fought back with fire and wind and some time letting things hit Hungramps. Nate's parents didn't notice any of this because Nate's mom was still angry.

Jibanyan said, "I am going to love eating you. I love Tuna." as he kept going at the angry fish with his claws.

Tunatic said, "Well this fish bites back." as he kept trying to hit Jibanyan with his knife. Nate tried giving food but because hungramps was inspirited he stole every bit of food in rage. Eventually Cadin and Blazion took out on of the Irewigs and the Koma brothers took out a Hissfit. The four were fighting each other but they were also fighting the enemy yo-kai.

Tunatic said, "you're finished." and he drove his blade into Jibanyan landing a direct hit on the chest.

Jibanyan said, "Aw." as he poofed and changed into his soul essence. Suddenly Blazion got even more mad.

Nate said, "No Jibanyan."

Tunatic looked back at Nate and then said, "I'll get you but first I'll defeat all you're little friends starting with that one." Tunatic then lunged and stabbed Hungramps with his knife. Hungramps poofed into a soul just like Jibanyan.

Blazion shouted, "RAH!" as his flames surged.

Komajiro then hit Hissfit with another zap and they were defeated. Cadin was also defeated by a fireball from Komasan. Blazion's flames exploded out again as he punched the other Irewig knocking it back into the yo-kai world. Then all three were on Tantroni.

Tunatic came from behind and said, "Frenzied Rage." Tunatic then flashed a wave of fire that did little damage to Blazion and Komasan but Komajiro was defeated an reduced to his essence. Both Blazion and Komasan were filled with rage.

Komasan shouted, "How dare you harm my brother you hooligan." Komasan then hit Tunatic with a ball of fire though it didn't do much damage it caused the fish yo-kai to drop his knife.

Tunatic was unarmed and Blazion said, "Rah rah!" as he finished the fish off with a punch to the head. Both kai then looked back at the remaining Oni who looked with fear.

Tantroni then said, "Oh this isn't fair." Tantroni was then hit by two blasts of fire and defeated. Both Komasan and Blazion became no longer inspirited and Jibanyan, Hungramps, Cadin, and Komajiro were all back to their normal forms. Whisper went to collect all the stuff the invading yo-kai dropped and Blazion helped Hungramps and Cadin out while Komasan rushed to his brother's side saying "Komajiro thank heavens you're okay."

Nate grabbed Jibanyan and said, "Oh good you're alright Jibanyan."

Jibanyan joked, "I guess I still got a lot of training to do."

Nate said, "yeah I guess you do."

Nate's mom went back to normal and everything was alright. Nate had nothing to fear.

AN: Again sorry for the wait and all just for a filler chapter. I know I could have done more for the B3-NK1 stuff but I also wanted to show that not everything is solved through violence. So that's about it I hope you liked it. Please review.
