Chapter 31
Blue is the new Red
AN: Okay so it has been a week since the last chapter I am working hard to make these, of course, this one is more battle packed but I feel it was a very important one in a couple ways. Now every now and then the protagonist needs a good slap in the face so here it is. I hope you enjoy chapter 31.
Disclaimer: I still don't own yo-kai watch if I did there would be no doubt about a yo-kai watch four localization.
Nate was just in his room playing a video game online with friends. He was playing super smash bros on his Nintendo 3Ds. He was doing okay he chose Luigi and was doing good with his side special. While Eddie was maining Meta Knight and was using so many combos to completely destroy Nate, Bear, and Eddie's friend Hailey. Bear was using R.O.B. just randomly shooting beams and spinning to attack Nate and Eddie he also used his flying to dodge everyone else's attacks. It looked like Eddie was about to win he already took out Bear and he was about to take down Nate and Hailey in one blow but right as Eddie was about to attack both Nate and Hailey, Hailey was able to use her final smash attack and completely destroy Eddie and Nate.
"Awe man." said Nate, "How could I lose with the power of wuigi."
"Seriously I was this close," said Eddie.
"Haha!" said Hailey, "I am the champion."
"I still can't I believe I was the first one defeated," said Bear.
"Well good game guys," said Nate.
"Yeah Good game," said Eddie.
"Psych, yeah good game, cause I won," said Hailey.
"I want a rematch," said Bear. Nate then logged off and shut off his ds.
"So how was your 'video gaming'?" asked Whisper.
"Seriously Whisper how come you are so outdated?" asked Jibanyan.
"Hey, I try my best to state up to date with the times," said Whisper.
"You knyow I bet I could beat anyone of those fighters," said Jibanyan.
"No way I don't think you could beat any of them not even Pichu," said Nate.
"Hey, Nate, time to go to bed." called his mother.
"Okay Mom, night," said Nate. Nate then quickly changed his clothes to his PJs and then just tossed himself onto his bed.
"Nyight, Nyate." said Jibanyan.
"Night Jibanyan," said Nate.
"Night Nate," said Whisper.
"Night Whisper," said Nate.
"Nyight Whisper." said Jibanyan.
"Night Jibanyan," said Whisper. The three then fell asleep. Of course, though Nate could have a normal night of sleep. Nate found himself outside in a grey version of his world something that was eerily familiar.
Nate then woke up and saw what was happening and said, "Ah man, really I thought I was done in here."
Whisper said, "*Yawn* Oh no you may always end up in Terror Time but hey at least you don't have to deal with Gargaros."
A thundering voice then shouted from above, "You may have defeated me but I am not the only Oni that punishes children."
"Oh. Oh! Oh no." said Whisper.
"Oh no? What does that mean? Whisper what's up?" asked Nate. Then from the sky, a bit further from Nate and Whisper. A blue version of Gargaros fell out of the sky with two golden horns instead of one and a red ponytail.
"I thought you would be fine but I guess I forgot about Ogralus, Gargaros' brother," said Whisper.
"Well how bad can he be, we already took down Gargaros," said Nate.
"No, No don't underestimate Ogralus he is much stronger than Gargaros," said Whisper.
"Then what are we doing here." said Nate, "Let's start running." so then they started running. Nate was being guided by Whisper to the door while they were running as fast as they could to the school. Ogralus made it there first though.
"Oh no you don't you may have beaten my brother but I am not going down as easy," said Ogralus.
"Well, I guess we have no other choice. We'll beat you just like we beat your brother," said Nate.
"I doubt it," said Ogralus.
Nate held down the button on his watch and then switched to his second Team, "Okay calling all my yo-kai friends. Yo-kai medals do your things." the ring around his watch spun with the hands of the watch. The hands then landed on slicenrice.

Slicenrice appeared along with Komasan, Komajiro, Jibanyan, Tattlecast, and Appak. Slicenrice said, "Hello Nate. Ah, you summoned me for a great fight."
Jibanyan said, "Really you're summoning me to fight this Gargaros copy."
Komasan said, "I guess we better get ready to fight Komajiro."
Komajiro said, "Got it bro." the two then grabbed their charms and they became engulfed in flames of their respective color. Komasan changed into Komane and Komajiro changed into Komiger.
Appak said, "Hey if we take this guy down we get more cool stuff."
Ogralus said, "Well you are all in for a world of pain." Ogralus slammed his club not into one of Nate's yo-kai allies but it to the ground like a stake. Komane, Jibanyan, and Slicenrice took his moment to land a few physical hits on the Oni. Komiger, Tattlecast, and Appak attacked from afar with Komiger's attack seeming to do the most damage to Ogralus.
"Uh nice hit but it still won't be enough." said the blue Oni. Water exploded out of the ground and completely knocked out Komane, Jibanyan, and Slicenrice.
"This is what I was saying Ogralus is a powerful water attacker Komane and Jibanyan were easily going to be defeated," said Whisper.
"No he wiped out half my team with just one attack," said Nate. Komane, Jibanyan, and Slicenrice were reduced to wisps.
"How dare you hurt my brother," shouted Komiger as he shot bolt after bolt of lightning each one tazing Ogralus badly hurting him.
"I have had enough of you," said Ogralus as he prepared to swing his club.
"I don't think so. If you are tired of him have a taste of me," said Appak as he jumped and not only blocked Ogralus' club with his sword but also landed a couple good slashes on Ogralus.
"Urh!" growled the Oni.
"Tell Tell Tell." (Yeah we aren't done yet) said Tattlecast blasting her speakers to weaken Ogralus and then damage him with a couple slaps. Tattlecast was a master at dodging moving to the beat of her speakers and with her long arms, she was able to dance her way around the blue Oni's club bashes and his water attacks. Appak then tried to hit Ogralus with a water stream but Ogralus redirected it and hit Tattlecast who didn't expect that allowing him to finish her off as she slipped on the water, with his club. Tattlecast then also became a wisp and came over with the others without a healer despite how much damage the bolts of lightning were doing Ogralus soon made quick work of Appak who couldn't match the waterpower of Ogralus. With only Komiger left Ogralus was ready to end this all. Komiger dodged and counterattacked constantly.
Nate said, "Komiger needs help I am going to summon another yo-kai."
Whisper said, "No Nate that is against yo-kai battle rules."
Nate said, "I don't care Komiger needs our help."
Just then a golden snake wearing a red hat came and said, "Not on my watch I am going to make sure this is a fair fight I can't have you summon anymore yo-kai." The snake then blocked Nate's yo-kai watch with an inspirit. Komiger zapped and zapped but Ogralus kept enduring and swinging his club without anyone else it was only a matter of time before Ogralus hit Komiger.
Komiger getting tired focused all his energy and said, "This one is for Komane, Crazy Lightning." Komiger then summoned a massive storm of electricity showering Ogralus with thousands of volts of electric energy causing the massive Oni to stumble and wince in pain.
Ogralus responded to the pain with anger, "That's it you asked for it. Nightmare Beat." Ogralus jumped up high and smashed Komiger with his club leaving Nate defenseless. "Nowhere left to run kid, you're dead." Ogralus then rushed towards Nate with his club. In most cases, Nate would have been paralyzed by fear unable to move just accepting his fate but this time he did something really dumb. The average boy with a yo-kai watch stormed towards the blue Oni. Whisper's jaw dropped as he saw what Nate was doing and he followed after. Ogralus was caught off guard for a split second but that was all Nate needed as he slid right underneath Ogralus' legs with a serious look and then he opened the yellow door and went through it along with Whisper right behind him. Ogralus went wide-eyed and tried to grab them before they could make it out the door but he just couldn't make it in time. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" he shouted at his failure.
Nate and Whisper made it out huffing and puffing from their last move in terror time along with the reformed wisped yo-kai who were exhausted.
"Wow Nate you really cheated death right there or should I say your nightmares," said Whisper with an out of place grin of joy.
"Whisper I barely made it out of there, I thought I was safe to sleep but I guess I am not," said Nate.
"But you do have to admit it was quite the move I bet Ogralus is very mad," said Whisper.
"That is a bad thing." said Nate very scared, "He's going to come back and I can't beat him."
"Yeah he wiped us out like we were just an old rusted fence in a horrible windstorm." said the back to normal Komasan.
"I thought I had him but I guess I was wrong," said Komajiro.
"Hey Komajiro you did great if it weren't for you we would have been defeated a lot sooner," said Nate.
"Yeah little bro, you were amazing and our best fighter," said Komasan.
"Yup you were great and I don't blame you guys he was crazy powerful at controlling water." said Appak, "He even redirected my attack, not even SV Snaggerjag could do that."
"Tell Tell." (We were creamed let's just admit it.) said Tattlecast.
"The Oni are tough opponents but Ogralus was a different level. With enough training though I beat we could beat the big blue bully in no time," said Slicenrice.
"I hope you're right Slicenrice I really don't want to live my whole life in fear of sleeping speaking of which we should all head home to rest," said Nate since he was just in the middle of the streets in his PJs. Nate and the yo-kai parted ways for the night. Nate really didn't like how Ogralus was now a major threat but I guess that just meant Slicenrice was right it was time for some training.
The next day Nate wasn't really in the mood to do anything really after last night. So he just did his routine in the morning and then worked on his homework to Whisper's delight.
"Ah finally working on Homework I see," said Whisper.
"Well I started I am doing pretty good I still have a lot but at least I did a bit of it," said Nate.
"Yup better something than nyothing right," said Jibanyan.
"Yeah and hey how you feeling Jibanyan?" asked Nate.
"Fine I just wish I could have been more help against Ogralus," said Jibanyan.
"It's fine besides you didn't really stand a chance against any of the water attacks especially if Komane didn't." said Whisper, "really I doubt any fire attribute could have taken a hit from Ogralus." right as if on cue Nate's third medallium which was green flipped open to a legendary page just like with his other medalliums, this one was in a star pattern and had five slots for medals Komasan, Komajiro, Kyubi, Grainpa, and Castelius I all fit into the slots and the seal broke.

From the golden spiraling light that came from the broken seal in the book came a yo-kai that looked like Komasan, it was a Komainu with serious eyes like Komane, red yo-kai energy pouring from every part of its body and it wore gold bands on all four of its limbs and a golden crown on its head despite the small appearance of the yo-kai Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan could all sense its power while it was just standing still.
"Woah another legendary yo-kai." said Nate.
"And this one looks like Komasan I bet this is the ancestor Shogunyan was talking about," said Jibanyan.
"Awe it says here this is Komashura he is indeed Komasan's ancestor like Shogunyan said they are from the same time period just about and it says here that Komashura is listed as the strongest fire attribute yo-kai known to the yo-kai world so far," said Whisper.
"Hmm, I see you four are talking about me and Shogunyan. I see that you are a human who can see yo-kai, a cat yo-kai, and a ghostly yo-kai. I guess you must have summoned me. I have a question where am I?" asked Komashura in a serious tone.
"Oh you are in my room." said Nate, "it is nice to meet you Komashura." Nate tried to shake the Komainu's hand but got burned standing just a couple inches close to him. "Woah you really are hot."
"Yes I am, so this is your room I have never seen anything like it. It is so odd to me," said Komashura.
"Oh, he doesn't know. We forgot to mention you are in the future," said Whisper.
Komashura was still for a second before shouting, "OH MAH SWIRLS!"
"Yup I can see the family resemblance," said Jibanyan.
"Wait I am in the future." said Komashura, "that is crazy. Things have really changed."
"Mhm, we got a lot of new things," said Nate.
"A lot of them are really cool," said Jibanyan.
Komashura first asked, "Hey what is that?" pointing at Nate's yo-kai watch.
"Oh this is a yo-kai watch it is what lets me see yo-kai," said Nate.
"Wait there is a device that allows humans to see yo-kai astounding. Um what is a watch?" asked Komashura.
"A watch is a device that allows people to tell time and most of the time it is portable and worn on the wrist," said Whisper.
"Hmmm, Okay show me more of what this future holds," said Komashura. So starting with just about everything in Nate's room to everything in Nate's house, Komashura was soon guided by Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan around the city. Like his descendant, Komashura was amazed by literally everything put in front of his face and wanted to know about it all. Komashura learned how to play video games, a couple sports, and about movies and television. Komashura ate all sorts of new food, saw a lot of sights, and learned so many new things. Nate enjoyed watching and helping Komashura experience so many new things it was like how he celebrated Cadin's last moments he thought he had to live. Jibanyan and Whisper tagged along too and enjoyed it.
"Wow the future is amazing," said Komashura as he was eating an ice cream cone from nom burger.
"Yup and we're just going to keep getting better," said Nate.
"The yo-kai world is filled with so many yo-kai as well Komashura it has changed a lot." said Whisper, "We even have connected the world of humans and yo-kai closer together."
"Hey you gonna finish that?" asked Jibanyan. The three laughed at that.
"Ah, the only thing I do miss are the battles I used to challenge all of the strongest yo-kai I could I even challenged Enma once I lost but I have taken down incredibly strong yo-kai before," said Komashura.
"Yeah Shogunyan said that you used to take down Kyubis all the time," said Jibanyan.
"Yes and those were great days. I really want to battle someone," said Komashura.
"I'll battle you," said Jibanyan.
"This is a legendary warrior who has felled guardian yo-kai just for fun I doubt he sees you as a worthy opponent," said Whisper.
"Sure I'll fight you," said Komashura causing Whisper to drop his jaw.
"Okay but I am nyot going to hold back nyan," said Jibanyan. Jibanyan then rushed and tried to punch Komashura but right as he threw his punch Komashura caught it and then tossed Jibanyan into the air and blasted him with a ball of fire that completely incinerated Jibanyan. Jibanyan was reduced to a wisp in seconds.
"Ah that was fun you sure are fast not as fast as your ancestor, Shogunyan but you are
pretty fast." said Komashura.
Jibanyan returned back to normal and said, "what the heck. That was insane how are
you that strong."
Komashura said, "Well I pride myself on my power. I train very hard but I still want to
fight so you know any other strong yo-kai?"
Nate said, "well I guess it's time to call the team."
Whisper said, "ooh this will be fun."
Nate said, "okay calling my yo-kai friends, yo-kai medals do your things."

Robonyan appeared along with Tattlecast, Komasan, Komajiro, and Appak.
"Hey what's up Nate what are we doing today?" asked Appak.
"I don't know about you guys but me and my bro bro here are still tired from last time."
said Komajiro.
"Tell tell." (Look behind you) said Tattlecast.
"OH MAH SWIRLS!" shouted both Komasan and Komashura.
"Woah who is this?" asked Komajiro with newfound interest.
"This is Komashura he is your guy's ancestor, the one Shogunyan was talking about."
said Nate.
"How can we be sure, you may be a komainu but how do we know you are related to
us." said Komajiro.
"Not to worry I can verify through DNA testing," said Robonyan pricking both Komainu
with his robotic paws, "processing… DNA match confirmed."
"Yeah!" said Komasan hugging Komashura.
"Oh so this is my descendent." said Komashura, "Hmm so I see you must be strong if
Nathan here summoned you."
"Oh yes siree though my brother here is stronger," said Komasan.
"Ah shucks you're too much besides your the one who took down that Kyubi." said
Komajiro.
"Yeah but you're the one that almost beat Ogralus yesterday," said Komasan.
"Hmm taking down a Kyubi and almost beating an Ogralus both are impressive feats especially since I don't sense a powerful fire in you two I bet you both still have a lot more to learn. You haven't reached your full potential. It will be fun to fight both of my descendants." said Komashura.
"Wait so if this is the guy Shogunyan was talking about…" started Appak.
Tattlecast's speakers then boomed, "That means Komashura is a legendary yo-kai."
"Yes Komashura is going to be incredibly powerful," said Robonyan.
"Which is why I will be fighting all six of you at once." said Komashura, "This future is amazing but I still need to scratch an itch. That can only be satisfied with a good battle."
"Hey I think I am sitting this one out Komashura already obliterated me nyan I am done," said Jibanyan.
"Well, then I guess I'll just summon one more yo-kai, come on out my yo-kai friend, calling Slicenrice, yo-kai medal do your thing," said Nate as he inserted the metal before his watch sent out a spiral of red light.

"What's up Nate, am I summoned for another fierce battle?" asked the riceball warrior.
"Well see for yourself," said Nate. Slicenrice saw Komashura and said, "Ah yes this will be great."
Komashura said, "Okay then let's begin, take your best shot."
Robonyan said, "Okay then here it goes Rocket punch." Robonyan then fired off both of his Rockets fists off both perfectly aimed at Komashura by futuristic robotic computers. Komashura dodged both and blocked Appak who thought he snuck up on Komashura. Komasan who became Komane tried to punch Komashura and actually landed a blow because of the surprise of his newfound evolution.
"Amazing you changed form to become stronger." said Komashura, "It has been a while since someone was able to actually surprise me." Komashura then got up and diverted another barrage of Robonyan's rocket fists with his bare hands using only his arms. Tattlecast hit Komashura with blasts of music but to her surprise, the music barely affected him Tattlecast then went in for some slaps. Komashura dodged that and Appak and Slicenrice's attempts at slashing him. Komiger then hit him with a blast of electrical energy marking the second blow on Komashura.
"Oh so not only can you do that too but you can control lightning. I am impressed with both my descendants," said Komashura before blasting a ball of fire at Komiger. Komiger barely got out of the way of the attack.
Slicenrice jumped in the air and said, "I will finish this Onigiri Slash." but right as Slicenrice was about to close the gap between his sword and Komashura. The legendary yo-kai blasted the attacking yo-kai with a ball of fire reducing the riceball yo-kai to a wisp just like Jibanyan. Everyone except Nate, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Komashura were astonished by how fast Komashura took down Slicenrice. Appak then took the chance to blast Komashura with water which Komashura cringed at but recovered and then shot a fireball to stop the attack. In the steam, Robonyan shot an unrelenting volley of his fists which Komashura dodged with ease. Tattlecast tried to hit him with her speaker but to no avail. Komashura just dodged and then hit her with a ball of fire turning her into a wisp in seconds. Komane then landed a few punches and Appak landed a few slashes and Robonyan a few rocket punches but Komashura took them all like they were nothing. Komashura shot Robonyan out of the sky with one single ball of fire and then prepared a fireball to hit Komane.
"Sorry descendant you're out," said Komashura.
"Not on my watch," said Appak spraying the ball of fire away with a blast of water.
"Thanks, Appak," said Komane. Komiger then zapped Komashura a couple times from afar.
"Okay Komashura time to douse your firepower." said Appak, "Torrent Slash." Appak jumped with a flushing blade and then let out a powerful surging water blade attack hitting Komashura. Komashura was sizzling after being slammed into a wall but then charged up and attack and created a beam of fire with his hands. Appak was surprised and tried blocking with his water torrent but the fire attack overpowered the water attack hitting Appak. The explosion of steam cleared and Appak survived.
"Ha is that all you got." said the tired kappa.
"No," said Komashura from right behind Appak just pushing him a tiny bit causing the kappa to puff into a wisp, "Just getting warmed up."
"Well I guess it is just us then bro," said Komane.
"Yup," said Komiger.
"Okay time to go full power then," said Komane, Komane the summoned all his energy in his body and unleashed the power in a blast of wisps, "Spirit Burst." Komashura saw the attack was impressed but then cast a ball of fire about the size of Kyubi's inferno. The ball met the wisps but unlike Kyubi's Komashura's fire blast crushed the wisps and hit both Komane and Komiger at the same time reducing both to wisps.
Komashura said, "that was impressive it was pretty satisfying." All the yo-kai there were wisps turned back into yo-kai.
"Awe man, creamed twice," said Appak.
"Yeah I even used my Soultimate," said Komasan.
"Seriously Komashura is strong," said Komajiro.
"You did great, you were all very powerful I bet you beat many powerful yo-kai." said Komashura, "You have made some great friends Nate."
"Yeah I have so you good now Komashura?" asked Nate.
"I hate to disappoint you but no actually the fire in my soul still yearns for more," said Komashura.
"Hmm maybe we are going about this all wrong," said Whisper.
"Yeah nyan." said Jibanyan.
"What do you guys mean?" asked Nate.
"Well, Komashura has taken down most of your strongest yo-kai friends except one." hinted Whisper.
"The only thing that can defeat another legendary yo-kai is another legendary yo-kai." said Jibanyan.
"Oh! Okay. Okay everyone sit back and watch we are about to see the clash between two legendary yo-kai." said Nate intriguing everyone but Whisper and Jibanyan. "Okay come on out my friend, calling Shogunyan, yo-kai medal do your thing."

"Ah hello, Nate what do I owe the pleasure of being called?" asked Shogunyan.
"We were hoping for the battle of a lifetime," said Jibanyan.
"Whatever do you mean?" asked Shogunyan right before he saw Komashura.
"Shogunyan now that is a face I recognize, I hope you are still as powerful as from before," said Komashura.
"Why of course I am I hope you have learned from the future," said Shogunyan.
"I have but it seems it can't provide me the fight I have been looking for," said Komashura.
"Okay old friend let's do this," said Shogunyan. Komashura summoned a blast of fire and Shogunyan dodged with lightning speed then Shogunyan rushed over to Komashura and slashed his fellow legendary with his blade. Komashura fought back with a pulse of fire which Shogunyan cut through with a windy fury. The fight was amazing from the spectators' side it was like they were watching a movie with two of the strongest forces in the world clashing. The fighting went for a while until Komashura called out, "Shura Shower." Komashura summoned and unleashed a massive blast of fire that looked like a star was on earth.
"That won't work this time, Bonito Blade." said Shogunyan right before not only cutting away the flames but also slashing Komashura into a wisp with his sword. Both yo-kai were tired out at the end of their battle with all the yo-kai going over to congratulate them and praise them on their power.
Nate asked, "So how are we going to heal them we couldn't even heal Jibanyan after he fought Komashura?"
Whisper said, "I don't know Komashura is a legendary battler I guess we just need to find an eyepo."
Nate said, "Wait I just got a better idea. Okay come on out my friend, calling Dandoodle, yo-kai medal do your thing."

Dandoodle
Dandoodle said, "This better be important I know I said I wanted to be summoned a bit more but I am still a legendary yo-kai."
Nate and Whisper asked, "Does this qualify for your high standards?"
Dandoodle looked and saw the two legends and said, "Ah you had a battle with this newly summoned Komashura and you want me to heal them sure thing." Dandoodle walked up and simply smiled and all the yo-kai felt better.
"Ah that is amazing thank you Dandoodle," said Shogunyan.
"Yes thank you." said Komashura, "I really needed that after a day filled with new experiences and battling."
"Anytime for you two fellow legendaries," said Dandoodle. After they all healed Komashura said, "Thank you, Nate, for the amazing day here take my medal." Komashura glowed blue before Nate caught his medal.
Nate said, "Thanks Komashura. I'll take good care of this."
Whisper said, "I guess that means it is time for medallium."
Nate said, "Yeah and I guess that means more yo-kai to befriend." That was a great day for Nate and his yo-kai friends they may not have been ready for the new Oni this time but with so new friends they would be.
AN: Okay so there you go Nate now has befriended three legendary yo-kai now I really feel they are some of the strongest yo-kai so I am sorry if they seem overpowered to you or if some yo-kai seem underpowered compared to them. So Nate's team is in need of more training that will come but now he also has the problem of the new blue Oni against him. He still can't sleep easy now. So there will be an Oni chapter every now and then as you have already seen. Anyway, I hope you liked it, please review.
