Disclaimer: I don't own Zoey 101/102 as much as I wish I did, I don't, if I did Quinn and Mark would have broken up a lot sooner.

A/N: Thank you for the continued likes/follows/favorites! Next chapter will be published on October 26th right before Halloween!

I hope you enjoy the next chapter this was one of Gil and I's favorite chapters to write because of the witty puns.

A quick reply to the reviews before I start this chapter off!

Nina: Hi, again great to see you! I'm so thrilled that the last update had you kicking your legs and giggling, but I think this week's chapter is really going to make you cackle there is a lot of rock related humor involved, we will definitely be seeing more of that sweetness between Logan and Quinn, I can promise a lot of fluff! Yes! they made it so obvious towards all of us didn't they?

And we still didn't know until re-watching it later on they were so subtle with it but really they weren't very subtle at all. Q and L have always been my favorite characters as well, and I just thought they were starting to get along better, I had no idea the deeper meaning behind it. We definitely should have had more scenes of how their friendship developed overtime into their relationship and it's a shame we didn't get to delve into that further. We definitely wanted to showcase the more intimate moments between them and I'm so glad we were able to accomplish just that.

I've noticed that a lot of stories have Zoey and Chase or Lola and Michael as background characters and as much as I love their dynamic, we wanted our primary focus to be on L and Q so we removed them from the equation minus maybe a brief mention here or there. Seemed like to me they weren't really embarrassed to be with each other at all. (Which they admitted themselves in the last episode) They were more afraid of how their friends and everyone else would perceive their relationship.

Logan did call Quinn his princess in Zoey 102 when she had her phone call with Zoey so I can't take all the credit for that one! Mark was definitely portrayed as very snarky in the movie. And I don't really think the rest of the gang actually liked him, I think they tolerated him at the time because he was with Quinn. Logan though was never Mark's friend more like acquaintances really that associated with each other from time to time, so I don't understand why they seemed to portray L and Q as good friends of Mark's in the movie? I don't know it made no sense to me at all, absolutely none!

Side note: I also didn't understand how they seemed to portray Stacey (Mark's wife) as such a good friend towards them when they didn't really associate with her much at all during their PCA years. I am doing good thanks (Well as good as I can be) I hope you are having a great day as well, thanks for writing in and I look forward to seeing your thoughts about the next chapter!

My Friend Darcy: Hi there, my friend! Happy Anniversary to Quogan indeed, I'm so glad one of my posting days just happened to run on their anniversary how special! Time flies doesn't it? I've enjoyed every conversation that we've had and that we continue to have, your friendship is truly something I treasure! I know I've said that before probably countless times at this point but its true if you hadn't written me that PM then I probably wouldn't have had the courage to reach out first and say something so I have to thank you again for doing that, you deserve all the credit here!

Thank you for the recognition for Gil, he is one of the most insightful and thoughtful people I've ever met in my life. I'm truly lucky first of all to be blessed by his friendship it is a privilege to have him co-write this with me so Gil (I know your reading this) thank you for that! We really wanted to play up the PCA player vibes giving Logan all his authenticity and Mark's dullness about well just about everything honestly! And Quinn's logic definitely not an easy feat to portray, we are so thrilled that we exceeded your expectations!

Like, I mentioned previously you can absolutely feature Sushi Rox more, I wanted to mention it because I feel like even though they weren't shown here as much. I could totally see them having these "dates" together alone especially during Season 3. Logan has always been more observant about Quinn and knowing things about her and pointing them out from time to time, the way he practically gushed to Michael when he said that Quinn was so smart, he practically melted, you could see his whole tone shift and he forgot all about those other girls!

Another thing I wanted to mention is when the rest of the gang played different pranks on him he was quick to anger and lash out on them, but not with Quinn, he would always walk away and collect himself and he would always forgive her, they always forgave each other really. It absolutely was a "date" I do want to make that very clear! We felt like the throwback to the free-throws would only be appropriate considering the situation of them going to go get ice cream together "alone" and the fact that she held his wrist the entire way there, now why did you do that Quinn? He didn't let go either! I'd count that as a win.

I hadn't even considered that Chase and Michael might have asked him to go see that movie before Quinn did, but I like your observation on that. It absolutely has happened and I'll bet he secretly enjoyed it too, not just for the company but because he actually likes science more than he leads on! (Matt admitted that in an interview) Isn't that fun? Oh, I'm sure this isn't the only time they've actually fallen asleep together, I was actually inspired the scene where all of them were accidentally unconscious from Quinn's coconut vial in the back of Mr. Benders truck, you mean to tell me she just fell asleep right there on his lap? He may have not kissed her lips first, but who's to say that he hasn't kissed her at all? *wink wink*

I can't take credit for the screen-names, as I just took what they used in the movie but I appreciate it regardless. I was practically gushing over that scene as well (You know she absolutely would!) I'm actually surprised that there haven't been many references to that episode not only is it a brilliant episode but there's so many moments between them including them looking at each other when Lola was kissing Leif! (Maybe that will be referenced in another chapter!)

We've definitely talked about these moments between them, especially during this episode! Quinnderella was a classic even though it was Vince who technically coined that term first, Logan agreed with it, even though he's the one who called her Princess (in Zoey 102) She most definitely doesn't want him to "quit it!" And he knows that which is why he's going to keep doing it regardless of what she says. Haha! that was just a fun little add in because to the rest of society he tries to come off as this cocky arrogant playboy. (Which we all know is an act!)

He should but he won't unfortunately because like he said in the movie Quinn was nothing more to him than a brief fling and I think he's lying. (They never got that far, we all know that!) But, I'll bet he was "messing around" with Brooke for quite some time, he just knew he was about to get caught! Continue to expect lots of fluff and sweetness between these two, because after all this is only the beginning of Quogan's journey!

You have absolutely nothing to apologize for whether you write in the day of or even a week or two from now Gil and I appreciate it so much! We are so glad that we made your month and I hope that you'll enjoy this chapter fair warning there's so many rock puns! (We just had to go there) I hope your having a terrific Thursday and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Take Care & Much Love!

Chapter 3: Stoned With Hot Tamales

Quinn's POV: I woke up the next morning promptly around 8:30 AM not wanting to be too punctual. I took a few extra moments getting ready before speeding down into the boys building towards Dillard Hall. Logan and I had agreed to meet in front of Mark's dorm room. Apparently he had arrived a few moments before I did sporting his usual cut off muscle shirt, red was always his most flattering color it really made his tan pop. In the words of Stacey Dillson he was looking quite spichy! Oh, why am I focusing on how spicy he looks when I'm outside of my boyfriends dorm? I provided Logan with a small wave casually walking towards the door. "Hi, so are you ready to be the mediator between Mark and I?"

He smirked leaning his arm up against the door. "You underestimate me Quinn, I was born to be the meditator." I wasn't going to fret over his grammatical errors it was an issue to place on the back burner for now. "Right, well at least can you try and be civil?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, this was going to be a long and excruciating day I thought as I glared in his general direction. "It means to be nice you know don't call him derogatory names like: dork, nerd, weasel." He rolled his eyes in annoyance at my request.

Scoffing directly afterwards. "Aw you're no fun, it's just playful banter lighten up would you?" I huffed folding my arms over my chest. "You of all people should understand the psychological toll that comes from being mocked and ridiculed by a classmate." Just as we were about to continue our playful banter the door swung open, revealing a very disheveled Mark in a robe, the impact of the swing must have toppled Logan to the floor he quickly brushed himself off pulling out his pocket mirror from his Capri pants.

To inspect for any facial deformities he swiftly placed the mirror back into his pocket, propping himself back up to stand in front of the door. "Sup, Delfiggs?" He casually and instinctively draped his arm over my shoulder as I ignored the butterflies forming in the pit of my stomach. Mark glared vehemently towards his direction. "What is he doing here Quinn?" I shrugged Logan's shoulder away from my arm before refocusing on the task at hand. "Logan is going to be our mediator to facilitate a calm and peaceful discussion between us about the trip to Yosemite.

He furrowed an eyebrow inquisitively glancing towards him. "You're going to have hot head here, someone who's vastly known to lose their temper and heat up like a hot tamale facilitating a calm and productive discussion between us?" I nodded matter of factly. "He's completed his anger management courses, he just gets a bit riled up at times, but you don't know him the same way that I do." I had hoped my half truth had swayed Mark's opinion. "He means no malice." He shrugged casually stepping away from the door.

"Sure, come in I suppose what else am I going to do with my Saturday morning?" As we stepped into the doorway I began contemplating whether or not I'd just made a fatal error as we stood in front of Mark's bunk bed. Logan noticing my distress and trepidation reassuringly patted my shoulder which momentarily settled my nerves. "So Mark," I began glancing between both Mark and Logan as I spoke. "Remember how I informed you that my roommates and Michael and Logan and I were planning on going on a trip to Yosemite together?" He nodded nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders as he leaned in closer observing Logan. I gnawed at my lower bottom lip out of frustration.

"Well, how do I put this delicately, the trip we had originally planned as a group to Yosemite has been altered drastically, now it's just going to be Logan and I." I nudged his shoulder pleading he would say something intelligent towards Mark. He began speaking that casual Reese smirk plastered upon his face. "Yeah, we're going to be toasting s'mores by the camp fire and sleeping in the same tent." He casually draped his arm across my shoulder again. "And, I'm an excellent navigator, I'll help guide Quinn in every direction if you catch my drift rock boy!" Oh, I definitely caught his drift alright! What was I thinking letting Logan Reese be the mediator between Mark and I?"

It was clearly a recipe for disaster that was bound to blow up in both of our faces, I had to save the predicament that Logan had just placed us in. "Oh, Reese always the comedian aren't you?" I nudged his shoulder pleading for him to catch on. He snapped out of whatever stupor he was in. "Oh, right yeah total joke, didn't mean any of that especially not sleeping in the same tent." I rolled my eyes towards him silently admonishing him for already almost screwing up our vacation plans. "So, Logan and I are planning on staying in the Yosemite campsite." I reached into my pocket procuring my cell phone. "I'll be able to reach by cellular transmission and for an extra piece of mind, I've taken the liberty of providing Logan's cell phone number as well."

He glanced slowly between Logan and I with an indecipherable expression before speaking. "Listen, Quinn, I don't mean this disrespectfully but I'm a bit apprehensive about Reese's ability to facilitate a successful camping trip."

Logan's POV: I glanced over towards Mark's extremely extensive rock collection wouldn't it be a shame if one of those projectiles had conveniently whacked him in the nostril?

I casually strolled over towards his desk undetected before grabbing a grey stone and twirling it between my palms, tossing it in the air casually before taking aim at my target making it appear as if the rock slipped out of my hands. He stumbled backwards onto the nearby couch gripping his nose, checking for any visible signs of nostril damage. "Yowzah! I feel like I got walloped by a hot tamale!" He exclaimed continuing to grip his nose in dissatisfaction. I casually chuckled lowly reaching into my pocket procuring a theatre sized box of the sweet yet spicy cinnamon candy holding it out towards him as he continued to grip his nose. "Oh, would you like some Mark?" I sneered.

He waddled slowly off the couch snatching the box of the sweet and spicy candy out of my grasp. "I was wondering where my hot tamales went." Realization dawned on him only a few moments later as he glared towards me while clutching the box of the sweet and spicy candy in between his palms. "Wait a second, not only are you a tamale thief you are also a thief of my girlfriend!" He admonished throwing his hands up in frustration, knocking over the box of the theatre candy he was clutching to the ground.

Quinn folded her arms across her chest, she was livid with him, it was kind of hot witnessing her feisty side. "Mark, what the f* are you seriously accusing Logan of being a homewrecker?" She inquired while picking up the grey stone off the floor. I picked up the box of the sweet yet spicy candy that unfortunately tumbled to the ground, it was lose in the pack from the impact of the fall, what a shame. Deciding this situation was getting too heated I decided to go meditate the situation between them before it got out of hand by standing in between them. "Hey, I definitely don't wreck houses that's girl work!" I exclaimed before Quinn provided me with a thoughtful smack across the chest.

Before glaring at Mark lightly tapping her zap watch and sending a small electrical current through his shoulder. He winced in pain presumably from the small electrical current that went through his shoulder. As I chuckled lowly, thank god she didn't shock me with that thing else I would have had some more serious nerve damage. And her nerve pinch was enough to render me unconscious. Every so often I get a jolt of electricity that sparks from the inside of my chest as a result of her previous zap watch that unfortunately I was zapped with.

I popped another one of the sweet yet spicy candies into my mouth observing her tear him a new one using other expletive words or "sentence enhancers" as SpongeBob called it. It was starting to sound like the episode Sailor Mouth. Now all we needed was an airhorn popping off and we'd be parodying the episode pretty well.

He was such an imbecile and soon Quinn Maria Pensky would be all mine! I just had to suffer through her being just my friend for a bit longer before whisking her away and convincing her to leave that steed for a stallion.

They continued to argue a bit more slinging insults back and forth towards each other as I calmly monitored the situation between them. It wasn't until he called Quinn a spaz that things completely unraveled, I had called her a spaz previously not knowing or thinking about how it would affect her mentally or emotionally and all be damned if I was going to let this jerk talk down to my girl, belittling her intelligence! Well, she's not my girl yet but she will be you'll see! I squeezed between them holding them each apart at arms length before separating them and glaring towards them, how dare he call her a spaz! I felt my blood boiling and began seeing red as I noticed the unshed tears glistening in her eyes.

She was going to cry and DelFiggalo was going to pay! I tossed the box of the sweet yet spicy candy towards the ground making a beeline towards him as he tried and failed to escape my grasp. I would do anything for her even if that meant putting this a*hole in his place. "Listen, here potato boy, I swear to God and whoever else is listening if you ever and I mean ever call her a spaz again not only will I personally make sure to knock your lights out, but I'll also make sure your precious rock collection suffers a great concussion!"

Quinn reached out for my arm grabbing my bicep. "Stop it Logan, he's not worth it just leave him alone, now please release his collar." I reluctantly complied releasing his collar as he dropped to the floor with a resounding thud, the last thing I wanted to do was upset her any further. "I'm sorry Quinn I just don't appreciate that he called you a spaz from my past transgressions, I've seen the error of my ways and I don't want anyone to ever call you that again." I explained removing her hand from my bicep. "It's obviously had a significant impact on your mental health and I wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize that any further."

She wrapped her arms around my neck as I gently lifted her upper torso as she swung her legs around my upper back, it was similar to the first hug we had previously shared after the radio debacle except their were no words exchanged between us, it was an intimate and heartfelt moment that we shared as I moved my hands to the small of her back, inhaling the scent of her coconut perfume she spritzed near her neck, the smell permeating my nostrils. Mark stepped behind us watching my every move like a hawk nestled upon a perch.

She reluctantly released me craning her head towards his direction. "Oh, for f*'s sake Mark take a picture why don't you, it'll last longer!" She admonished throwing her hands up in the air. "Can't I have even one minute alone with my friend without you barging in like you're a chaperone geez!" He scoffed nonchalantly rolling his eyes towards her. "You never let me have any alone time with my friends, every girl that comes near me you either zap or shoo away." She rolled her eyes as Mark droned on about the unfairness in their relationship. "What you know it's the truth, I'm not allowed to have any friends that are girls but you're allowed to have him?" He gestured directly towards me.

"It's not fair Quinn its a double standard." She sighed pushing her glasses further up the bridge of her nose. "I suppose I have been a bit hasty in my decision making process, alright fair is fair if you let me keep Logan as a friend then you can have friends that are girls and I won't keep zapping them in the bottom." I let out a low chuckle. No wonder that chick I was making out with last weekend complained about her butt getting zapped repeatedly, she was jealous! Jealous Quinn is so hot, I picked up the sweet yet spicy candy box that tumbled to the floor, dusting it off before popping another piece into my mouth. "Someone else's loss is always my gain, right Quinn?" I inquired flashing her my signature Reese smirk. She turned away blushing a few shades of scarlet no one can resist the charm of the Loganator!

Mark who was completely oblivious to what was happening, snatched back the box of the sweet yet spicy candy popping a few in his mouth before responding. "Well it's not my fault it's loose in the pack!" I pulled him off to the side a few feet away from the earshot of Quinn before our friendly banter resumed. "Well, maybe you should have learned to protect things better than rock boy!" He rolled his eyes towards me crossing his arms over his chest nonchalantly. I rolled my eyes in frustration towards him it was fairly obvious we'd never see eye to eye so to speak but I would do anything for Quinn.

Even if it meant being the bigger person in this situation called life. "Alright look Delfiggs it's obvious that were not really friends and that you not so secretly hate my guts, but I'm not going anywhere and obviously neither are you." For now I whispered lowly drowning out the current silent thoughts in my head. He took a tentative step forward lowering his arms to his sides. "What's your angle Reese?"

I cleared my throat before I resumed speaking. "Look Quinn's just as much a part of my life ad she is yours so we're going to have to learn to be civil towards each other even if you not so secretly hate my guts." He took another step forward as if both of us were crossing a line. He nonchalantly rolled his shoulders forwards. "And why should I trust you?" I shrugged both of my shoulders making direct eye contact with him before I resumed speaking. "You have absolutely no reason to trust me, other than the fact you know I don't lie, I've always been upfront about everything I say and do even if you don't like it, I don't hide my true intentions." I took another step towards him. "I really care a lot about Quinn and I'm assuming you do too, so let's bury the hatchet between us, I'll pay for whatever damage I caused towards your rocks."

I extended my hand towards him reluctantly for a handshake. "You know my integrity means everything to me, so do we have a deal?" He took a step backwards from the invisible line drawn out in front of us on the floor. "Oh, so just because you're Logan Reese you assume that you can buy people off so they can comply with your demands?" He took another step backwards almost tripping over his shoelaces as I stifled back a chuckle. "I'm not as stupid as I look Reese, I know you want my girl and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure you don't have her." I scoffed taking a few steps backwards there's no point in trying to deny the inevitable truth he's right about my intentions. I want Quinn Pensky and I won't stop wanting her until I have her all to myself.

"Alright fine if that's how you want to play this game Delfiggs then yeah I do want her more than you probably ever thought of having her, she's too good for someone like you and it's only a matter of time before she sees what she's been missing out on with someone like me, I mean c'mon I'm hot!

I concluded pulling out my own pocket mirror to gaze at my own hotness. Just as we were concluding our friendly banter. Quinn appeared from around the corner standing in between both Mark and I.

"So are we going on this trip or what?" Mark casually folded his arm across Quinn's shoulder. "Yeah, babes I was just telling Reese here that we should at least make an effort to get along since you guys are friends and all you know, I should make an effort to be nicer towards him." She leaned over giving him a quick peck on the cheek as I held back the bile building up inside of my throat. "Aw baby that's so thoughtful of you." I cleared my throat choking back the tears that were threatening to protrude down my cheeks from anger before speaking directly towards Quinn. Mark lied to her to try and rile me up I don't trust my better judgement I better get out of here before I explode!

"Cool, so I guess we're going on this trip, you know just the two of us, later Pensky."
