A/N: Hey guys its Chaos and I'm back with another chapter

*Whoosh*

Asta flew across the Trost district encasing Titans in various magical elements such as metal, earth and ice to prevent them from roaming around and eating people that haven't gotten to safety. Asta would have used time magic to turn the titans back to humans but the thing was, reverting a titan back into a human takes more time and concentration compared to his other spells, afterall Asta didn't want to accidentally turn a person into a fetus or age them up so much that they turn into dust. Time was something Asta didn't have at the moment because the more time he spent turning the titans back to humans it was time where other titans could be eating other people.

'Alright this section has no people and those titans are trapped' Asta thought to himself as he was flying through Trost until he noticed something on the street. He flew down to see a girl wearing the same uniform he saw mina and the other wearing giving CPR to a boy of her age with the same uniform. The only thing was that the boy's lower half of his body was completely gone as was bleeding out.

"Come on Franz! Stay with me! Stay with me baby!" The girl known as Hannah would desperately yell with tears in her eyes as she was performing CPR on the boy known as Franz.

"Hey let me have a look at him!" Asta said, approaching the pair as he got down on one knee to check on Franz. 'This is bad, I can feel his Ki but it's very faint. He's going to die any second now'

"Please help him! I've been trying to resuscitate him but he's not waking up. Please just please help him" Hannah desperately pleaded as she continued to give him CPR. She was so focused on trying to keep Franz alive that she wasn't really concerned about the ashen teens' appearance and barely noticed vines and petals surrounding her, Franz and Asta. The moment the plants were formed Franz 'body began glowing green making Hannah look at both her boyfriend and Asta in surprise.

"W-wha? W-what's happening? What are you doing to Franz"

"It's alright miss he's gonna be fine, I'm just trying to heal him right now" Asta reassured the placing his hand on Franz chest as he continued to try and heal the boy. Hannah could only look at this whole situation with her mouth agape but didn't say anything as she continued to watch Asta heal her lover.

'I know I said he's gonna be fine but even I'm not sure I'm capable of this level of healing. I'm using the most powerful healing spell I know while pumping a lot of magic into it yet the only thing it's doing is keeping him alive.'

'Dammit, come on, think! There's gotta be a spell or a type of magic that can heal him.' Asta thought to himself with a frustrated look on his face. Hannah could see the look on Asta's face and grew worried for the fate of Franz.

"H-hey e-everything is fine right? F-Franze is going to be ok right?!" Hannah asked as she started to panic. There was also no reassurance when Asta didn't answer her question but instead remained focused on healing the boy.

"*sign* Too bad I can't just give him a new pair of legs" Asta muttered to himself until he thought about it some and then had a lightbulb of an idea form in his head

'Wait I think there may be a way to heal him' Asta thought to himself knowing the right type of magic use after doing a quick analysis from what he saw in his memories. Asta placed his unoccupied hand on the ground in front of Franz as both his hand, Franz and a part of the ground began to glow.

"Transmutation magic" Asta said

Then what Asta Hannah saw would leave her in absolute awe. The ground that was glowing turned into human tissue and would attach itself onto Franz slowly restoring the lower half of his body.

'Who knew Grey had such an awesome magic type' Asta thought to himself with a grin on his face. Hannah was left completely amazed by what she was seeing. She was also left embarrassed when she saw that Franz's naked lower half was left out in the open. She was going to use her jacket to cover him up but was once again surprised when the same white pants she was wearing would appear being worn by Franz, covering up his nudity.

"There he should be fine now" Asta said standing up as the unconscious boy began to breathe steadily indicating he was in a much better state.

"Oh my god…*hic* he's breathing…*hic* he's alive…Franz is alive" Hannah said with tears of joy leaving her eyes as she just witnessed a miracle happen right in front of her eyes. Upon hearing the noise around him Franz slowly opened his eyes.

"Ughhh…wha?...what happened-"

"Franz!" The boy barely had any time to process what was going on as he was immediately enveloped into a tight hug by his girlfriend.

"Whoa Hannah hey, what's wrong? What happened?" Franz asked the girl as he slowly stood with Hannah in his arms as she refused to let the boy go.

"*sob* I was so worried, *sob* I-I thought I would lose you" Hannah said crying tears of relief into Franz chest with the boy only hugging her in return doing his best to comfort her.

"Its alright Hannah…don't worry I'm here" Franz reassured rubbing the girls back to calm her down

"*cough* So not to ruin your moment or anything but it's best for you guys to get safety, there are still some Titans I gotta deal with" Asta said towards the couple, he saw that Hannah had that ODM gear and figured she would use it to get both her and her boyfriend to safety. Asta started walking away and was about to fly off until he heard Hannah call out to him.

"Thank you!"

"Hm?" Asta turned to see Hannah smiling at him gratefully.

"Thank you so much for saving Franz, I don't know how I can ever repay you?"

"It's fine, you guys can repay me by being happy to live another day" Asta said, giving a soft grin towards the couple.

"Not that I'm not grateful I gotta ask, who are you?" Franz asked the ashen haired teenager.

"The names Asta and I'm a Magic Knight!" Asta said, levitating off the ground and flying off to stop anymore Titans. Upon see this both Franz and Hannah had their eyes widened and jaws dropped in disbelief. They stayed silent like that for a couple of seconds until Franz finally spoke up.

"H-hey Hannah"

"Y-yeah"

"I'm not dead…am I?"

"...no baby…no you're not" Hannah said as they both released that they needed to get to higher ground, using Hannah's ODM gear they zipped away with that boy known as Asta still lingering on their minds.

"Hey what the hell is wrong with you people, I don't think you really understand how bad the situation is we're all in!" A civilian man of Trost would yell out to the men that were trying to push a wagon filled with supplies through a narrow bridge.

"Oh I understand just fine. If you wanna make it out of here alive stop whining and help" The Merchant known as Dimo Reeves yelled out as he and his men continued to try and push the wagon through the tunnel. The crowd that hadn't evacuated began to protest yelling for Dimo to move the wagon out of the way.

"It's alright Dear, Daddy's gonna use those big cannons to scare the Titans away" A mother with dirty blonde hair would whisper to her young daughter as she knelt down hugging her.

The little girl known as Louise would be reassured by those words but that reassurance would be replaced with curiosity and confusion as the ground started to rumble causing the rioting crowd to stay silent as they looked behind them to see what the rumbling sound was. Off in the distance was an 11 meter Titan running towards the crowd at full speed.

"AAAAAAAARGGHHHHHHHH IT'S A TITAN!" Someone in the crowd would scream in fear as everyone would begin to panic and get desperate, rushing and shoving eachother to try and get through the tunnel but alas because of the wagon's blockage no one was able to get through. Right behind the running Titan were 3 garrison soldiers and Mikasa in hot pursuit.

"Shit! Anyone wanna tell me why this son of a bitch is ignoring us!" One male Garrison soldier yelled

"It's an abnormal just-"

*Whoooooshhh*

Mikasa was about to use more of her gas to catch up to the abnormal Titan but something flew past her so fast that it almost knocked both her and the other soldiers off course. Then in an instant the abnormal Titan was frozen in place, literally because the Titan now encased in solid ice, shocking and confusing everyone who saw this.

"W-what the?" The garrison soldier questioned as both him, Mikasa and the remaining 2 landed on a rooftop as they were now being more cautious to approach the frozen Titan.

"Hey what's going on here?!" The crowd, soldiers and Mikasa looked up to where the voice was coming from and their eyes almost popped out of their sockets when they saw a boy with a strange appearance floating in mid air right in front of the crowd that hadn't been evacuated.

"W-who on earth is that and what happened to that Titan?" A female garrison soldier asked in shock as she continued to stare at Asta.

Mikasa continued staring at the ashen haired teen, still surprised at the sudden development. She then slowly turned towards the now frozen Titan wondering what was going on. 'Is he the one that trapped the Titan? If so, how? And how is he floating in the air without ODM gear?' These questions constantly floated across the Ackerman's head but was brought out of her thoughts when she and the other garrisons saw Asta floating down towards the crowd of people

"Can't any of you speak? What's going on here?" Asta asked again although the people were still left surprised seeing a man fly down to them with an odd appearance. Dimo was the first to recover from his shock as he thought with the arrival of Asta would be a great opportunity.

"Couldn't have asked for better timing, force these useless morons to push my wagon, I'll pay you handsomely!" Dimo yelled catching the attention of Asta

"I…I don't think you understand the current situation right now. All these citizens need to evacuate as soon as possible!" Asta said trying to reason with the man

"Tsk, are you serious right now, In case you don't know I'm the head of the merchant guild. If it's not for me you soldiers wouldn't have some much as a slice of bread to be on your plates. That is unless you have some spare change in your pockets to feed an entire military" Dimo asked the ashen haired teen in an annoyed tone.

"Uh I don't think so-"

"Then stop complaining and get these morons out of the way I have things to do and places to be. Don't think you're on some highground and expect me to shed a tear just because you're being asked to do your damn jobs-" Dimo barely had a chance to fully finish his sentence as the moment he did Asta had already appeared in front of him glaring at the shorter man. To everyone it looked like Asta had just teleported as they couldn't comprehend the speed he moved at.

"Move. The. Waggon" Asta simply said, still glaring at Dimo. He was unintentionally releasing intense magical pressure that made it a lot easier to intimidate Dimo, however it also caused the crowd to back away in fear. Despite not actually being able to sense mana they could still feel a wave of threatening pressure coming from the ashen haired teen. Considering the garrison's and Mikasa weren't close to the crowd they didn't feel the magical pressure but the display of Asta moving to Dimo so fast they couldn't even see him left them wide eyed.

Dimo for his part was shitting bricks and his legs looked like they were going to give out. He almost didn't dare to speak as he was too afraid of what was going to happen to him.

"M-m-m-move the wagon" Dimo quietly said in fear as his guards didn't need to be told twice on what to do as they quickly moved the wagon which led the remaining civilians to evacuate without any issue. Though there were quite a few people who turned back to thank Asta with some of them calling him a god, leaving Asta a bit flustered but he tried to deny that he was a god, unfortunately it fell on deaf ears as they left.

"You're amazing!"

Asta turned to see Louise with stars in her eyes smiling at the Ashen haired teen as the mother was also smiling at him gratefully.

"Thank you young man for saving our lives, we are eternally grateful to you" The mother said to which Asta replied with a big grin on his face.

"All in a day's work of a magic knight" Asta said with a thumbs up making the mother confused when he said that although Louise looked at Asta with even more amazement imagining him as some super strong sorcerer that can shoot fire and lightning ( A/N: too which she isn't wrong).

Asta began to float again and was going to find more Titans but some called out to him.

"Hold it right there?!" Asta turned to see the 3 garrison soldiers and Misaka using their ODM gear to get land to the closest rooftop that was near Asta.

"Hi there, can I help you?" Asta asked as he floated closer to the group although they all had their hands on their weapons as they were cautious on who this guy was and how the hell he was flying.

"Stay right there, I have some questions for you" The male garrison said bringing out his sword

"Whoa whoa whoa calm down I'm not here to hurt any of you" Asta said radically waving his hand to show that he was not a threat. The group and Mikasa were still cautious of this individual and the soldier who spoke started to question Asta.

"Who are you? Where did you come from? How did you trap that Titan in ice? And h-how are you flying?!"

"*sign* I really don't wanna explain myself again" Asta muttered out though no one could hear him. " My names Asta, I come from the Clover kingdom and I have magic"

"..."

The soldiers just stayed silent and stared at Asta as if he were a crazy person, though it's not as if Asta was really surprised by the reactions.

"I'm sorry wha-"

"Look I don't have that much time to stay here, there are still those giants I gotta deal with. Once I'm done I can explain everything to you" Asta explained

"What no, your not going anywh-"

*Whooosh*

And just like that Asta was gone leaving a power gust of wind behind. Upon seeing that the floating boy was no longer within their sites they were once again left wide eyed in shock, awe and in some cases fear.

"W-who was that?" Mikasa whispered the question that was lingering on everyone's mind.

"...Don't know…but now that evacuation is complete we should get the order to retreat. Once we do that we'll report about our "magic man" to the commanders and have them decide what to do next." The male garrison soldier said.

"By the way what about the Titan in the ice?" The female garrison soldier asked.

"I checked it earlier, but the ice is preventing me from cutting it." Mikasa explained to the group

"Why do you think he only trapped the Titan though? From what I saw he could have stopped the Titans legs with the ice and used his mobility to kill it?" A different garrison soldier asked "Do you think he could be…an enemy to humanity?" The question hung in the air leaving everyone uneasy.

"I-I don't know…only time would tell, as of right now we need to regroup at the rear end."

"Wait sir, with permission can I leave to check up on a certain squad" Mikasa asked the male garrison soldier who looked at her with a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Hmm, Well considering we already got everyone evacuated our task has already been completed. Then yes you have permission to leave, just be safe out there" The soldier said with Mikasa nodding and using her ODM gear to swing off and find Eren.

'Eren…please be safe' The Ackerman thought to herself

5 Minutes later

With Jean

"*sign*...unbelievable" Jean muttered as he sat down on the rooftop with an expression filled with despair and dejection, just like most of the remaining cadets that were on the rooftop.

"Dammit where the hell is the supply team, just what the hell is going on here!" Connie yelled out in annoyance as he looked towards Jean.

"They've barricaded themselves in HQ abandoning their duty to supply us. Plus Titans have swarmed the place meaning we can't gas ourselves" Jean explained. Connie tried to think of a plan for them to get gas but it was ultimately shut down when Jean pointed out the flaws in his that would lead to their demise.

"*sign* what a dull life this turned out to be… I never even gotta tell her how I feel" Jean muttered rubbing his hand behind his head

"Guys we shouldn't lose hope" Jean and a few of the cadets turned to Mina who actually seemed pretty calm about their situation. "I have faith that helps on the way…and we won't have to worry about those Titans" Besides Armin, Connie, Nack and Milieus, the few looked at her with perplexion and scepticism (except Sasha, she had a more relieved expression thinking help was coming).

"And what makes you say that?" Jean asked

"Oh right me and Mina's never actually told you"

"Tell me about what?" Jean asked again with a little bit more annoyance in his voice

"Yeah, we met a guy that saved us from being eaten by Titans." Nack responded "and get this he can fly".

Upon hearing this Jean was both concerned and a bit pissed at Nack. Concerned because he thought that Nack might be hallucinating and pissed off because he got his hopes up that they might actually receive some help only for it to be a hallucination.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Jean asked

"Yeah I are…are you alright Nack" Reiner said with Bertholdt and Annie walking behind him

"He's telling the truth, I too saw him with my own eyes" Armin muttered out as he slowly stood up leaning against a wall.

"Yep, he saved me"

"Can confirm I saw him too carrying Milieus and Nack" Connie confirmed. Jean for his part didn't know if he should be concerned or annoyed at his friends thinking they may be playing a prank on him in a situation like this.

"You guys can't be serious right now?" Reiner questioned, Mina was about to argue but Sasha's voice cut in.

"Hey guys…what's happening over there?" Sasha asked, making everyone turn towards the HQ building that was being swarmed by Titans, except the Titans weren't swarming the place. Instead of Titans there were structures of various materials placed around the building. Some made of Ice, Some made of Metal and others made of rocks. Upon a closer look they could see that Titans were being encased by these materials, leaving a majority of the cadets confused on what was going on.

"W-what the hell…are those titans trapped?" Bertholdt asked with some surprise in his voice

'What the hell is this? Who or what could have been capable of encasing those titans and for what reason anyways' Reiner thought to himself as he looked at Armin's remaining squad.

"It's Asta, I knew he'd come to help us" Mina said with a smile on her face filled with relief that her saviour was in no harm and was stopping the Titans, although why he didn't kill them was a mystery to her. Upon seeing this only a few cadets seemed to have regained some hope in their eyes thinking they may actually have a chance to get into HQ without having to deal with too many Titans trying to eat them.

"Wait, hold on, Mina explain yourself, just who is this Asta person," Reiner asked, wanting to get to the bottom of this strange mystery. Mina was about to tell Reiner the little she knew about Asta but a familiar voice and the sound of ODM gear cut her off.

"Armin!" Mikasa yelled landing on the rooftop

Upon hearing Mikasa's voice Armin's heart sank to his stomach not knowing what to tell his other childhood friend.

'No…not right now, how can I tell Mikasa that Eren got eaten by a Titan' Armin thought to himself in despair 'If only I wasn't so weak, then none of this would have happened.' Tears threatened to leave the blond boy's eyes as Mikasa got closer to him.

"Armin, Thank god I'm so glad you're safe" Mikasa said but Armin remained silent not knowing how to break the news. Upon seeing this Mikasa had a sinking feeling chest, the feeling only getting worse when she didn't see Eren on the rooftop.

"Armin…where's Eren?"

Armin swallowed a lump dreading that question when he first heard Mikasa's voice. He steeled his nerves and finally began to speak.

"Mikasa…about Eren he…he…go-"

"Yooooooooooooooo!"

Armin, Mikasa and the rest of the cadets turned towards the voice of Asta. To those that hadn't seen him, they were left wide-eyed seeing a boy with a blue energy substance on the left side of his body, floating in mid air and carrying someone at his side.

"Hey, what are you all doing here!?" Asta asked, floating down towards the group. Mikasa and Armin barely registered what Asta said as they were left shocked with who Asta was carrying.

"EREN!" Both Mikasa and Armin said simultaneously.
