DIANCIE AND THE COCOON OF DESTRUCTION

"..." It's a wonderful mysterious cave under the world of Pokemon. Filled with Crystals as it showed a place full of wonderful blue sparkling crystals. With Pokemon inside as blue that match them. Known as Carbink. A special Pink rock Pokemon was hopping past two Carbink's carrying a crystal as they let the special Pink Rock pass before three more Carbink hurried past them.

"Please wait for us, Princess Diancie!" Merrick, who was a Carbink. Was following in pursuit of Diancie.

"..." Diancie giggled as the Carbinks were too slow to catch up as Diancie hopped over a small ledge without much trouble. The three carbinks stopped before the last one bonked into the other two and combined into three to leap over together barely as they continued to follow. To see many other carbinks around with the crystals and playing around.

"Princess Diancie! It's time! Princess!" Merrick cried out as two other Carbink joined in to find Diancie. But Diancie was hiding behind the shards of crystals. She couldn't help but giggle.

"Hehe, Hide-and-seek is fun!" Diancie said before many Carbinks saw her and started to come to her.

"Shh, no! Not right now..." Diancie said as she attempted to hush them but Merrick found them.

"Princess Diancie!" Merrick said as Diancie was surprised but eventually can't help but show a smile.

"You found me..." Diancie played around but the Carbinks weren't having any of it.

"I'm not playing, Princess! It's almost time for you to..." Merrick said as he accidently touched the crystal tower, causing it collapse and fall on the carbinks without breaking one crystal. Diancie covered her eyes in worriness.

"Merrick! Are you all right?!" Diancie asked, Did Merrick hurt himself? The crystals were off the three Carbinks as Merrick shook his head.

"I'm fine, thank you. D'oh!" Merrick said as a crystal landed on his head.

"Ah..! Hehehe!" Diancie said as she laughed on Merrick being smacked around.

"This is no time for giggling!" Merrick angrily called out. The other Carbinks laughed together as they were silenced by another voice.

"Princess!" The elderly voice called out as it began to walk to Diancie. The other carbink moved out of the way.

"Elder!" Merrick said as he reconginzed who the elder carbink was.

"Dace!" Diancie said as she was shocked the elder came to see her.

"Now, Princess Diancie, you have an important duty to perform. You must not forget that!" Dace

Heart Diamond Location.

"The Heart Diamond... For countless years, it has provided us with great energy and tranquility. But sadly, time has taken its toll on it." Dace said as he explained about the Heart Diamond and it's time is running out, Dace then turned to Diancie.

"I know that someday that diamond will die out, and lose its sustaining shimmer." Dace said as he knew Diancie would learn about the Heart Diamond's soon to be demise and beauty.

"But look how beautifully it's sparkling now... Worrying too much will make you lost your luster." Diancie said as she noticed the Diamond sparkling still, trying to calm Dace down.

"Please take what I'm saying seriously!" Dace said as he wasn't having any of Diancie's silliness.

"Okie-dokie!" Diancie said as Dace didn't like the manner.

"A simple yes will suffice!" Dace said simply with those words.

"Uh, yes!" Diancie said as she followed Dace's order.

"The sad truth is if the Heart Diamond were ever to be lost, our domain would be finished!" Dace said as he knew about the Heart Diamond and the domain where the Carbinks lived and if it died, then they would lose everything.

"You're exaggerating..." Diancie said as Dace stared at Diancie with seriousness.

"I am not exaggerating! Creating a new Heart Diamond is a task that only you can do, Princess Diancie!" Dace said as as he knew Diancie would save the Domain as that is her goal with her power.

"Before any more time is wasted, I want you to demonstrate your power!" Dace said as he wanted to

"Okay, I'll do it. I mean, I'll try..." Diancie said as she began to concentrate on her power as she looked at Dace.

"But I don't think I can." Diancie said as Dace didn't want an excuse now.

"PRINCESS!" Dace shouted at her as Diancie got back into focusing.

"Right.." Diancie said as she was slowly ready.

"..." Diancie put her hands out as her power started to surround her as she began to use her power with Dace watching, mini diamonds were coming out as they swirled in a circle and formed together a vision that showed a Diamond that was powering together.

"Yes, keep going..." Dace said as he knew Diancie would work this Diamond out.

"..." Diancie pushed herself by embracing her power as her strength as she was getting tired before she lost concentration and the diamonds went in all sorts of directions, failing the move. Diancie felt ashamed alongside Dace and Merrick watching her struggles.

"I told you. I just can't do it..." Diancie said with a sad look as she knew she was failing.

"Princess, you will one day! After all, it's what you're here for!" Merrick said as he knew this was the only way.

"I thank you for raising me ever since I was very young... But I'm afraid I..." Diancie said as she was happy that the Carbinks helped her but she got more sad.

"Xerneas." Dace said as he realized something.

"Huh?" Diancie said as she looked at Dace.

"You must go see it!" Dace said, seeing Xerneas was a good chance to help Diancie now.

"Xerneas?" Diancie asked, who was Xerneas?

"That's right." Dace said as he knew Xerneas somehow.

"Long ago, when I was journeying, there was a terrible catastrophe. This cataclysmic event occured in a place called the Allearth Forest..." Dace said as he was telling his story when he was just a Carbink, watching all the Pokemon flee as he began to run away with the Pokemon who were all fleeing the forest from a tornado of darkness spreading out as whatever the black smoke caused was nothing but turned into stone. As trees began to lose leaves and turn into said stone as Dace along with three oddish, zigzagoon, linoone, teddiursa and a skiddo were near a cliff in a patch of dead grass. The deadly foggy smoke was coming to them.

"My life force is being drained. I'm finished!" Dace said as he cried out in the flashback as the smoke charged in, before then. A Deer charged in front of the smoke and blocked it away with it's light and protected the pokemon as a shield as Dace opened his eyes to witness Xerneas fight the dark black smokey fog. As Dace was in shock with the other pokemon, he fainted.

"What...? Wha-That's... Fairy Aura!" Dace said in the flashback as he woke from an Ability suddenly. It was Xerneas' ability that got him awakened. As Xerneas looked at the Pokemon it rescued in a world of nothing but grey darkness around them.

"It's because of Xerneas that I am here today." Dace said as the flashback ended. Dace was soon guiding Diancie and Merrick through the cave.

"That's who we're going to meet?" Diancie said as they all stopped as Dace looked at Diancie.

"Yes, Princess." Dace said as Diancie tried to process it.

"So if I meet Xerneas and its Fairy Aura washes over me, then I'll discover my true power and be able to actually make a Heart Diamond?" Diancie said as she questioned that would meeting Xerneas actually work?

"You will! You have to trust Fairy Aura!" Dace said as he knew trusting Fairy Aura would work.

"..." Diancie looked at the cave as she knew that if the domain dies, nobody would help the carbink she closed her eyes to think. What would she want to do now is her choice.

"I'll do it. I'll go! I always wanted to see the outer world anyway." Diancie said as she was excited once again.

"You must take all of this more seriously!" Dace said as he was trying to make things serious.

"Okie-dokie!" Diancie said as Dace wasn't having that happiness from Diancie..

"What will suffice?!" Dace said once again as Diancie realized.

"Oh! A simple yes. Yes!" Diancie said as she was happy to pretend to Dace..

"..." Diancie, Merrick, Mace and the other Carbinks looked outside as they all saw beautiful skies, colorful trees and lots of rivers and mountains as Diancie gasped happily in amazement as she now knew what the outer world looked like, but there was more than that as Diancie headed off with Merrick and many more Carbinks.
