"..." There was a clock tower as it was night time where Team Rocket stole and hidden Diancie at, as a Honedge was sitting on the clocks hand, watching inside. They took out Diancie from the bag who was looking at the trio.
"Well, that was the easiest heist I can remember." Jessie said as they all looked at Diancie.
"Diancie brought us good luck!" James exclaimed, wanting to have good luck to them.
"You three are thieves, aren't you?" Diancie asked as she didn't know Team Rocket at all.
"We're team rocket, smartie!" Jessie snorted, making them look like they were innocent.
"Thieves are people who take things that aren't theirs, right? Thieves are bad people. That's just one of the things I've learned." Diancie explained as she knew what the word: "Thief" meant to her. She saw them as thieves.
"Aren't we smart?! Well, we're going to teach you lots of things!" James said as they wanted to give Diancie a lesson.
"Welcome to the school of hard knocks." Jessie said, giving them a hard knock of lesson.
"Yup!" Meowth said.
"I certainly do appreciate your kind educational offer, but I must be going. So, thieves, I bid you farewell." Diancie said as she began to hop past team rocket, leaving their offer open.
"Did it say farewell?" Jessie said as they watched Diancie hop past them all.
"Stop the hopping!" Meowth asked as James got in the way of Diancie.
"We insist! This party's just getting started." James said
"We've got a little job we want you to do for us." Meowth said as he made his idea.
"Excuse me, but i've never had a job before." Diancie said, not having the task of doing a job.
"Our research shows you can make diamonds. And research doesn't lie..." Jessie explained as she wanted Team Rocket to have an actual Diamond.
"So won't you make us a few?" James asked, wanting a Diamond.
"Make them sparkle, like me!" Meowth said as Diancie felt like she wanted to get out but needed to listen.
"Oh, so that's what you mean by little job... in that case, i'll be happy to do it." Diancie said as she had no choice but to actually listen if she wanted to get out of there.
"Really?! No joke?!" Jessie exclaimed, being in joy.
"Smooth move!" James said, they were having some cooperation together.
"Dig that! Cooperation!" Meowth exclaimed, they digged on the cooperation.
"But don't be disappointed." Diancie said as she knew she had her weaknesses.
"How could we be disappointed?! Now, get those diamonds rolling! Carat by carat!" Jessie said as Diancie sighed, annoyed by this as she got to work.
"..." Diancie began to rub her hands and started to shoot out a pink diamond. A real one.
"There it is!" Meowth said as he noticed a diamond was out.
"Gorgeous!" Jessie said as she picked it up.
"That will buy us the best meals for the rest of forevermore!" James said, mentioning foods for them.
"Not to mention noodle galore!" Meowth cheerily said as he loved noodles.
"And for dessert, anything we want." Jessie added on, they all had an idea.
"Quick, whip us some more!" Meowth said, they wanted more Diamonds.
"As you wish, but..." Diancie said as she knew.
"..." Diancie then did it again by giving one more diamond to them.
"Beautiful!" Jessie said happily as Meowth picked up the second Diamond that Diancie made.
"Yeah! Number two, sports fans!" Meowth said as they all were in excitement.
"I'll build a vacation villa!" James said as he wanted to build a vacation.
"We're rich! Yeah! Yeah! We'll put together an entire Team Rocket resort! Oh YEAH!" Team Rocket cheered together together.
"All right! Make more!" Jessie demanded as Diancie sighed and put her hands out together.
"..." Diancie made more for them against her will as Diamonds spewed out as a whirlpool.
"It's a whirlpool!" The three said as the Diamonds filled inside the clock tower, making them occupied and covered with Diamonds.
"I'm taking a diamond bath!" Meowth happily cried out as he was loving what Diancie was doing.
"I'm so filthy rich, I'm clean!" James said as he was enjoying the Diamonds.
"Inkay!" Inkay said as he appeared out of his pokeball.
"Ouch, They're pointy but it feels great!" Jessie said as she felt some pain from the diamond but she didn't care.
"..." The Diamonds have snuck into a gear as it jammed the gears to stop the clock from moving. Diancie was hopping down to get away from Team Rocket. She attempted to break herself out from the lock as a voice called out to her.
"Get away from the door!" A female's voice demanded as Diancie managed to hear her. She backed up.
"Huh?" Diancie said as a Chesnaught jumped and got out of the way, revealing to be a girl named Millis.
"Hurry! This way!" Millis said as she was about to let Diancie free. Soon Diancie and Millis left as Diancie and Millis parted ways for now before Diancie attempted to find Ash and the others again.
"Look! Up there!" Ash said, as everybody found Diancie again.
"Diancie!" Alex exclaimed, seeing Diancie.
"Diancie! Are you okay?" Ash said as he and the others ran up the stairs to meet Diancie there.
"You good?" Pikachu asked her.
"You're not hurt?" Serena questioned as Diancie was perfectly fine.
"I'm perfectly fine, thank you." Diancie explained as she was a-okay from the chaos.
"What happened with you?" Alex asked as Diancie looked at them.
"After I made diamonds for them, the thieves allowed me to leave." Diancie said as she explained what she had going through with Team Rocket's encounter.
"So team rocket grabbed you so you'd have to make diamonds for them?!" Clemont said as he wondered if that was a smart move.
"Well, I'm just glad you're okay." Ash sighed as he was happy that Diancie was alright.
"Thank you. But i'm fairly certain that by now those thieves are feeling rather disappointed." Diancie said as she knew team rocket would get their way of karma to them soon.
"Huh?" The group confusingly said. What on earth was Diancie speaking about?
"..." The gears were still jammed by the Diamond as it shattered it as the other Diamonds that Diancie made had suddenly vanished too. And then the clock rang out as it was Eight P.M. Team Rocket enjoyed their Diamonds well as they suddenly began to vanish slowly. Causing them to be scared.
"Uh oh!" Meowth said as he witnessed the diamonds vanish.
"No. No. NO!" James cried out as he was no longer swimming in them.
"DON'T GO!" Team Rocket cried out together but the diamonds have all vanished. This is what by Diancie meant.
"Going and Gone!" Meowth said as the trio cried out that their diamonds vanished.
"..." Our heroes and Diancie were on a bench nearby. Diancie felt saddened more.
"I guess, I'm still not able to use my full powers to make real diamonds..." Diancie said as she wasn't strong enough to get actual diamonds being made and born.
"After you make them, they disappear?!" Serena said as she wondered if Diancie would be able not to make a single diamond a real one?
"Yes. And that's why I'm searching for Xerneas." Diancie nodded as she looked up at the dark sky, wanting to search for Xerneas.
"Xerneas?!" Ash exclaimed, Alex was intrigued on hearing what Diancie said.
"Is that a Legendary Pokemon I hear from stories?" Alex said as he wondered if Xerneas was real from books he read long ago.
"Yes. The Legendary Pokemon. There's a legend that says Xerneas has the power to give life." Clemont said as he explained how Xerneas can bring back life from it's power.
"Wow!" Bonnie said in amazement.
"So people can be bought back alive, From Xerneas' power." Alex said as he believed Xerneas can bring people and pokemon back into life with it's own power from his hypothesis.
"I was taught that Xerneas's Fairy Aura would help me to draw out my true power. I must find Xerneas." Diancie said as she learned from Dace, wanting to find Xerneas.
"That's because you're a fairy type, too." Clemont explained as Diancie as a Fairy / Rock type Pokemon, so it would make sense.
"So awesome. I'd love to meet Xerneas!" Ash said as he wanted to join.
"Me, too!" Serena joined in on Ash's idea.
"YAY! I would, too!" Bonnie cheerily said, chiming in also.
"Yeah. Me, too." Clemont said as he was in also.
"I would want to see Xerneas." Alex said, he wanted to join everyone else.
"Diancie? Do you think we could go with you?" Ash asked to Diancie.
"Please. Diancie!?" Pikachu asked on Ash's shoulder.
"I would be happy if you would. it is my greatest pleasure to allow you all to travel along with me." Diancie said as she was allowing them to join her, being a princess.
"Allow us? 'Kay." Ash said, surprised on Diancie's beautiful manners.
"You are a princess!" Serena said as she was surprised that Diancie was acting like a princess again.
"Wow! Diancie's a Princess for real!" Bonnie said, being happy Diancie was a princess.
"And a Great, one too!" Dedenne said, Alex was happy being there for Diancie.
"Here. Come on you..!" Alex said as he hugged Diancie from behind, she was startled for a moment.
"Whoa! Um... Aw." Diancie exclaimed as she had nothing to say before she smiled happily, seething from the hug.
"..." Millis had watched Diancie where the five were at, she smiled and returned Chesnaught and rode her Doublade up to an invisible ship in the air, entering the hatch door as it closed with her inside. It was autopiloting over the city as person was inside, eating chocolate and reading his visuals with recordings of Diancie and Carbinks. Millis' Father: Argus, was watching.
"If Diancie gets back underground, we'll never be able to find her again." Argus said as he was watching a video of Diancie and Carbinks.
"Merilyn and Riot... they're serious as well. I must be careful... Who are they?" Argus pondered as he was seeing Merilyn and Riot in on Diancie before he flicked a screen, noticing Team Rocket.
"Bah, There's nothing to worry about with them!" Argus said as he wasn't a both as Millis entered and sat on the side arm of the chair.
"Diancie's fine, Dad." Millis said as she made Diancie perfectly okay.
"Excellent work, Millis. How about a chocolate?" Argus said as he checked how his daughter was doing, before offering a chocolate.
"Dad, I think you're eating too many sweets..." Millis sighed as she went over to have some coffee.
"They came out with a new chocolate mint. I had it speciall delivered all the way from the Hoenn Region. Don't forget, the cocoa that chocolate is made out of is good for you. It's got all sorts of-" Argus said as he picked up a chocolate mint and asked more when Millis was having enough.
"Ngh... Can't you see I'm just worried about your health, Dad!? C'mon!" Millis muttered and then explained to her dad about his conditions.
"I know you are." Argus said, trying to accept it.
"Hmmh. Amph!" Argus said as he put another chocolate in his mouth, eating it.
"Mmph. Dad." Millis muttered, she was slightly annoyed.
THE NEXT MORNING. A BUS RIDE.
"..." The Bus had our heroes and Diancie inside it as people were getting their morning as nobody really paid attention to the group behind the back, as they were speaking with Diancie. Clemont was watching Bonnie who was looking at the view from her left.
"Diancie? Are you sure if we go this way, we'll find Xerneas?" Ash asked, will they find Xerneas out here?
"I would never ever tell a lie." Diancie said, making a promise she wasn't lying.
"Hope so. You are a dear princess." Alex said, knowing Diancie was a princess alright.
"Well. I was taught that not always telling the truth is wrong." Diancie said, knowing that truth was the reasonable thing to do.
"So how do you know this is the right way to go?" Bonnie asked, which is the right way to go?
"Because the Fairy Aura that surrounds Xerneas leaves a trail. And I am able to sense that trail." Diancie explained as she was able sense trails by other pokemon.
"So, you can scent trails from others." Alex said as Diancie looked at him.
"Yes. All sorts. And I am looking for is Xerneas' trail." Diancie said as she looked back out at the window.
"..." They passed a group of Floette inside the bus as Diancie opened her eyes and dazzled on the floette but looked at the window and hoped Xerneas would get her scent and trail soon.
"I'm sure Xerneas will be there. I know it!" Diancie said, knowing Xerneas is out there.
"You will, don't be upset." Alex said, hoping they would help her.
"Thank you." Diancie said, looking out and hoping they would find Xerneas.
"Are you sure, she's okay?" Pikachu said, looking at Ash.
"..." Ash wondered but he smiled and petted Pikachu happily much to his enjoyment with delight.
NIGHT TIME A FEW HOURS LATER
"..." Our heroes got their tents out in ready for the night to behold them, everyone was sleeping. Except Diancie who was practicing her skills to defend herself.
"Huh?" Ash muttered as he witnessed Diancie trying to use her powers.
"Hmmph. Aaah.. Ohhh." Diancie groaned as she witnessed her power wasn't fully able to work as she felt down.
"I just can't do it..." Diancie said as she looked up at the sky, noticing a shooting star passing by. She was astounded what zoomed by her.
"They say if you make a wish on a shooting star before it disappears, it'll come true." Ash explained, what a shooting star was.
"My wish will come true?" Diancie said, hearing her wish would come true.
"Yeah. A lot of it can happen if you make your wish as good as it is." Alex said as he got up from the tent as he explained about the shooting star rule.
"Yeah." Ash said as Diancie looked up and began to close her eyes.
"Okay. I think I'll try." Diancie said, wanting to make her wish.
"I'll do it, too." Ash said as he stood next to Diancie.
"Won't you join along? Alex?" Diancie asked as she looked at Alex.
"No thanks, another time." Alex denied the offer, wanting them to have a moment to work together.
"..." As Ash and Diancie waited, A shooting star suddenly passed by them as Ash realized what was about to happen.
"Oh! Okay!" Ash said as he closed his eyes. Diancie did the same.
"Hmm.." Diancie said, thinking about her wish.
"My wish is that Diancie will be able to make the greatest diamonds ever. Beautiful and totally awesome." Ash said as Diancie looked at Ash, and smiled that Ash's wish was for her to help her.
"I love the wish." Alex said as he looked up at the beautiful night sky.
"..." Diancie and Ash put their hands together in hopes of another star came by. Diancie's hands slightly glowed as Serena watched while Bonnie was still asleep. Watching Ash help Diancie felt like it was a hero to him.
"..." Soon our heroes managed to board themselves on a ferry in the waters. Everyone was making their way down to see what Pokemon they want to see. Buizels and Floatzels were hopping up and down on the water, enjoying themselves.
"A group of Buizel and Floatzel!" Ash said as he saw the buizels and floatzels.
"Those are from Sinnoh! I love those things!" Alex said as he waved to them.
"Hel-LOOOOH!" Bonnie called out to the buizels and floatzels in a good manner.
"Helllo!" Pikachu called out to them.
"You all swim so beautifully!" Diancie explained to them as she waved alongside our heroes.
"Thanks!" The buizel and floatzel said together as they waved to the group.
"..." The two buizel and floatzel jumped up in the air and in unison, splashed into the water. Causing a huge gush of water and caused everyone but Diancie to get wet. They all had a bit of a laugh thanks to Bonnie. Everyone changed to some more proper clothing.
"This is the most fun I've had since leaving, and it's because I'm on this journey!" Diancie said as she was having fun.
"Traveling with friends is fun!" Ash said as Alex looked at Ash.
"I am glad you are having fun." Alex said as Diancie was looking like she was wondering what it meant.
"I don't understand. What do you mean by friends?" Diancie asked, what was a friend to her?
"What do I mean? uh... Friends are friends. Right?" Ash said, friends are true people to him.
"Friends are people who interact with others and they share something they like together and they bond over time. They grow attach to each other therefore." Alex explained as he explained his version of friends and therefore having a friendship.
"Yeah. Friends are people that you know and trust who really like to play with you and talk with you." Serena said, explaining more about friends.
"They help you, and you help them." Bonnie said as she chimed in with Serena's add-on of words.
"It's good for everybody involved!" Clemont said, letting everyone have friends was a key to them.
"Friends..." Diancie said. Wanting to be friends.
"Like us. We're friends with you." Ash said, knowing the group was friends with Diancie as she was to them.
"Well then, if that's what friends are, I hereby allow you all to be my friends." Diancie said as Alex sweatdropped in concern.
"Uh. You can't be serious. Have you barely known anything?" Alex said as he didn't know that Diancie didn't learn a lot.
"No. Not a lot." Diancie said as Bonnie chuckled at Diancie.
"There you go again, sounding like a princess!" Bonnie explained as she chuckled suddenly. Diancie was once again acting like a princess.
"Diancie, you're great!" Serena said as Diancie was learning a lot from them.
"Friends... I'm so happy!" Diancie happily exclaimed as she was overjoyed by our group, her joy accidently spewed out a Diamond as Bonnie managed to catch it before it went over their heads.
"Nice catch, Bonnie!" Alex said as Bonnie opened her hand, seeing it was a Diamond!
"Is this a..." Bonnie wondered as she was wondering what Diancie had made.
"It's a diamond!" Ash exclaimed, this was an actual diamond she made.
"That's incredible!" Clemont said as Bonnie looked at Alex, seeing if he wanted it.
"I don't want it. But you can, Bonnie." Alex said as he wanted it Bonnie to keep it.
"Pretty!" Bonnie exclaimed as she loved the Diamond that Diancie had accidently made from her.
"But, it will disappear soon. Sorry." Diancie sadly explained as Bonnie was still enjoyed by Diancie's diamond.
"Oh. That's a shame..." Alex said, being sad it was going to vanish soon.
"I love it! Can I keep it, please?" Bonnie asked, she was wanting to see if she'll keep the Diamond that Diancie made.
"Yes. I hereby bestow it to you." Diancie said as she kindly gave it to Bonnie.
"Yay! Awesome!" Bonnie said as she was excited. Bonnie put the Diamond in her bag as she kept it safe for now.
"Thank you so much. That's so nice!" Bonnie said as she thanked Diancie, Diancie gleefully smiled in delight. Making them happy.
