Sandy and Patrick return to the Krusty Krab, dead silent in the early morning.
Patrick:
"It still smells like death and pickles."
Sandy:
"We should've gone through the cameras weeks ago."
They walk past the freezer. Mr. Krabs' decaying corpse is still there—ice-frozen, eyes gouged, shell shattered. It's barely recognizable now.
ACT 2: Into the Office
They enter the Krusty Krab office. Sandy hacks into the dusty, barely-working security terminal.
Sandy:
"Let's roll the footage back to the day everything snapped."
The monitor glitches. Static. Then…
ACT 3: Recap – The Footage
We see it.
EPISODE 1 FLASHBACK—UNEDITED SECURITY VIEW:
Mr. Krabs yelling.
SpongeBob humming.
Squidward's eye twitching.
Then the snap.
They watch in real-time as Squidward brutally slaughters Mr. Krabs—stab after stab, blood spraying across the fryer, meat being eaten raw.
Patrick (gagging):
"He ate him… oh god, he ate him…"
Sandy (mouth wide open):
"Holy fuck… it wasn't SpongeBob…"
ACT 4: The Shock
Patrick:
"So… Squidward did it… but he's gone. SpongeBob said he ran away or some shit."
Sandy (narrowing eyes):
"Which is weird. Because if Squidward snapped that hard… where the hell would he go? Why hasn't he been seen since?"
Patrick:
"And Pearl's gone too… SpongeBob said she was crying in the woods or something."
Sandy:
"That's two missing people… connected to one liar."
ACT 5: Plot Thickens
They print the footage. Send it to Bikini Bottom PD.
But the cops are useless, again.
Officer Nancy:
"Well, Squidward did kill Mr. Krabs. Case closed. Probably ran off into the kelp fields."
Officer Carl:
"We don't do 'missing people' till they miss two birthdays, anyway."
Sandy:
"Y'all are the most useless fuckin' barnacles on this ocean floor."
ACT 6: Back to the Questions
Patrick:
"So we know Squidward did it… but what about now? Where's his body? Where's Pearl? Why did SpongeBob fake suicide?"
Sandy:
"Exactly. The snap was real. But everything after... has his fingerprints all over it."
She stares at the photo print of the murder.
Then at the Krusty Krab floorplan.
Then at her own notepad.
Sandy:
"He's hiding something. In his house. That basement has to be the key."
