Ahsoka Tano knew that the Jedi Code forbade attachments, but she couldn't help but feel something for her Master, Anakin Skywalker. When she had first become his padawan several months earlier, she had thought he was the most handsome person she had ever seen and still thought that. But she pushed those feelings aside because there were more important things that required her attention. Another reason she didn't give in to the temptations of her feelings was that she didn't want to get her heart broken when Anakin rejected her. At that moment, however, she knew she needed to focus on the battle that was happening right in front of her.
"C'mon, Snips. We need to get moving!" Anakin shouted to her as he followed the many AT-TE walkers piloted by clones across the dusty and dry terrains of Geonosis. As he walked, Ahsoka noticed that he activated his lightsaber, preparing for battle. Ahsoka broke into a run, her lightsaber drawn. As she ran, her feet made small dips in the shallow sand, causing dust to swirl around her legs. Once she finally caught up to Anakin, he was slicing and stabbing battle droids mercilessly. She engaged in the battle along with a handful of clones. She sliced and stabbed the droids until the area looked like a graveyard in which the mechanical corpses had not been buried properly.
"Great job, Snips", Anakin complimented her as they continued to advance across and dry terrain.
"Thank you, Master", Ahsoka replied, trying to hide the blush that was forming on her cheeks, but failing miserably. Thankfully, Anakin was too busy fighting some of Grievous's bodyguard droids to notice. Ahsoka sighed in relief. She didn't want Anakin to know what her true feelings for him were. She engaged the bodyguards in combat, her green saber clashing with their purple laser staffs. One of the droids pushed her saber back with its staff before lifting a gray mechanical leg and kicking her hard in the stomach. The force of the kick was enough to send her tumbling backwards, her lightsaber deactivating from the impact. She hit the sand with a thump, dust swirling all around her. She quickly got up and engaged the droid who had kicked her, her green lightsaber and its purple electrostaff clashing with bright colors. The droid backed her up to the edge of a steep hill. Her right foot slipped a little, causing several pebbles to roll down the hill. She attempted to fight her way away from the hill, but it was too late. The droid kicked her in the stomach again, causing her to lose her balance and fall down the hill.
