There are many stories of heroes, but I'm sure there are much, much more stories about superheroes. This story is a bit of both, but with some twists. What are they? Find out in Ben 10 Alternate Dimens10n.
In the vastness of space, two ships were fighting. One was blue and white, while the other was black and red. The black and red ship fired a huge laser at the blue and white one.
Suddenly, something was ejected out of the blue and white ship. It was a tube-shaped container which split in half to reveal a spherical container. The spherical container then caught fire, before it plummeted down towards a familiar planet. Earth.
Meanwhile...
A certain boy was walking in the woods, when suddenly...
FWOOSH!
"Whoa! A shooting star!"
He saw what appeared to be a shooting star in the sky. However, he would soon find out that that wasn't the case.
"AAH!"
SMASH!
The "shooting star" changed direction, before crash landing right in front of Ben sending him flying into a tree.
THUMP!
"Ow!"
After he fell down on the ground, Ben got up and rubbed his back. It hurt. Then, he went to check out what caused him to fly. When he did...
CRACK!
"AAH!"
THUMP!
A piece of the crater that was formed from the "shooting star" crash landing right in front of Ben fell down. This caused Ben to fall into the crater itself. When he did, he was able to get a better look at what really sent him flying. It was the spherical container that had been launched from the blue and white ship!
The spherical container slid open to reveal a blue watch-like object. It had no hands or numbers, but it had a weird blue hourglass-like symbol on it. "A watch? What's a watch doing in outer space?" Ben asked to himself, before he curiously reached for it. However...
SNAP!
"AAH!"
The watch suddenly latched on to his left wrist! He tried to take it off, but he couldn't.
"Get off! Get off!"
After Ben tried (and failed) to take off the watch-like device, he started rushing back to the campsite where his cousin Gwen and grandfather Max had set up camp.
Meanwhile...
"Where's Ben? He's been gone for a while."
"We need to go find him grandpa, it's not like him to wander off into the woods for this long."
After Max agreed with Gwen, they both started searching for Ben.
Back To Ben...
Ben was currently still running back towards the campsite, when...
BOOM!
"AAH!"
A huge red laser came out of nowhere and almost hit him! After he fell down, he looked back to see what almost hit him. When he did, he shouted. But then...
FLASH!
The watch-like device emitted a bright blue glow, before it unleashed blue light that covered Ben's whole body. Blue fur started growing all around Ben, his eyes then disappeared and he developed two sets of gill-like organs on both sides of his neck. Then, a shoulder brace appeared on his left shoulder before the dial of the watch-like device suddenly appeared on it.
ROOOAAARRR!
Ben had turned into a big, blue and burly beast. He would eventually name this form "Wildmutt". However, it wasn't named at the time. Ben jumped high into the air, before slashing at the drone that almost hit him.
ROOOAAARRR!
SLASH!
In one quick swipe, the drone was split into four pieces. After the drone's pieces fell on the ground, Ben quickly went off. But suddenly...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
FLASH!
The watch-like device reverted him back to normal. Just then...
"Ben!"
"Ben! We've been looking all over for you! Where have you been?!"
A Few Hours Later...
"So that's what happened."
After Ben finished telling the story of what just happened to Gwen and Max, Max said "Best not to touch that thing until we can figure out what the hell it is.". Ben agreed, before Max went inside his mobile home he called the "Rustbucket". The Rustbucket is a mobile home that was painted in blue, white and red, it had a big green UFO on its sides for design. It was also heavily modified with hidden onboard weapons and other equipment that normally wouldn't belong on vehicles.
After a while, Max came out with some power tools. He tried using them to get the watch-like device off of Ben, but they were no use. The device was too tough, and nothing that Max had could remove it.
"Sorry sport, looks like that thing's stuck on you."
"I guess so."
"Y'know, you could become the superhero you always wanted to be. I already gathered the necessary data for you to know that that thing is safe for you to use. Just don't misuse it."
"Wait, really?"
Ben was excited, he liked the idea of being a hero. He thought all about the fame and glory it would bring him. However, what he didn't realize was that being a hero was much more than just getting fame and glory. But he didn't really know this yet.
Ben daydreamed about the fame and attention he would get from becoming a superhero. He could be one of the youngest superheroes if he started now, that would surely turn a lot of heads and put him on the news. Then, he could become rich and use the money he would get to be able to buy everything he wanted and more. That was the life.
"Ben? Ben? Are you listening to me?"
"Oh, right. Yeah. S-Sorry. I was just thinkin' about becomin' a hero that's all."
"Great. We'll start training tomorrow. But for now, you need to get some rest boy."
"Yeah."
Ben agreed to what Max said, before he slept on his bed in the Rustbucket. He continued to daydream about being a superhero who's rich and powerful.
