Prologue
"I win again!", Cheered a young inkling girl, victoriously pumping her video game controller in the air. She was starting to get her humanoid form, as her lime green skin was fading. She had sparkling hazel eyes.
"Aww, no fair Emma", groaned Emma's younger sister, Leah. Many people would think that Emma and Leah were twins. The only difference was that Leah was 2 years younger, and had pale cyan tentacles, and the most unique bangs. "I demand a rematch!", huffed Leah, feigning anger.
"I'd love for a rematch, but Mum and Dad will kill me if they find out I let you stay up after bedtime, Lee-Lee" Said Emma, grinning as she tickled her little sister and took her to her bedroom. Emma tucked Leah in bed, and turned on the night light.
"Sweet dreams Lee-Lee", whispers Emma as she leaves her sister's bedroom. "Um...Emma?", says Leah in a low voice. "Yes?", Responds Emma turning around to check on her sister. "Is it true you're leaving for Inkopolis tomorrow?", Leah asked, fear prying its way into her voice. "Yes...", Emma trails off, thinking about how her younger sister will be alone.
"Please promise that you'll stay in touch?" requests Leah, a small smile appearing. "I swear on my sibling duty I will," Says Emma, sealing her promise with a pinkie. She gives her sister a kiss on the forehead, and leaves.
The next day, Emma leaves for the big city. The last time she got in contact with her sister was to let them know she arrived. But after that, Emma disappeared. Her family never got in contact with her again. So many terrible things could have happened to Emma.
But only Leah knew the truth.
A truth Leah wants to leave in the past forever.
But the past has different ideas.
Leah's past is filled with horrible memories. Of her family abandoning her, of her boyfriend cheating on her, then getting killed in front of her very eyes, of the fight with her sister.
And of being the long-lost Agent 6.
