Two Days After They Defeated Adam
BGM: Just Wondering (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
"Hmmm…" Weiss had her arms folded, deep in thought.
Mine lay on Weiss' back, tossing a soft ball in the air. "Icicle Mountain?"
"Too treacherous. That and it would be weird to place it there while the Ice Climbers are doing their thing."
"Ah, I got it!" Futaba said. "How about we-... nah, never mind."
"What's up?" Jade asked.
"I was gonna suggest that I freeze that frozen lake and build the Fria Foundation there but… that'd be a bit tacky."
"Oooh… yeah, good call."
"I appreciate the rebuilding… but that… yeah…" Weiss sighed.
"Hmm…" Whitley tapped his foot. "Mushroom City?"
"Too crowded. It'd get drowned out by all the other businesses." Weiss said. "...Not to mention it'd be weird to place a new SDC in the place where our model citizen of an ex-father died there."
"Yeah, you're right…" Whitley nodded. "Hmm…"
"How about-"
Weiss' scroll went off as she reached for it on her drawer and answered it. "Hello?"
"Yo, what ya doing?" Blake answered.
"Oh, ya know, just Epiphany, my bro, and two science nerds spitballing where to put the Fria Foundation and we're drawing blanks."
"Hey! We resemble that remark!" Futaba said.
"Yeah!" Jade agreed, high fiving Futaba with both of them smirking while Weiss playfully rolled her eyes.
"We might have an answer for that. Come next door!"
"Oh? Okay then." Weiss nodded as she hung up. "We're going next door. Seems like the Belladonnas have something for us."
"Well, it's better than bashing our heads against a wall." Mine said, sitting up. "Let's go."
End BGM
Next door…
"Alright, what do you guys wanna tell us?" Weiss asked.
"We know you were busy looking for a place to rebuild the SDC and build the Fria Foundation." Ghira began. "Any luck?"
"Nope. We're drawing blanks." Futaba said.
Kali smiled. "Have you perhaps thought of Menagerie?"
"Menagerie?!" Weiss said in surprise before lightly smacking her head. "Duh! That's a good spot."
"Yeah!" Mine nodded.
"Wait, isn't it like… really crowded?" Futaba pointed out.
"It is." Whitley nodded. "Half of Menagerie is a desert and everyone's cooped up in one tiny area. You can thank the anti-Faunus groups for that slap in the face."
"So, we either find a way to squeeze the SDC in the livable area or move it to the desert… that's not really feasible." Jade said.
"I know… but perhaps we could put it next to our old home." Ghira offered.
"Oh, but the desert is-"
"I can help with that." A voice said as Calyrex came out of Weiss's Master Ball.
"You?" Weiss and Blake wondered in unison.
"Of course. After all, I am the King of Bountiful Harvests. One wave of my right hand will cover the land with grass and blooms, and my left hand will make fields of fruit ripen and become heavy."
"Oh right, I forgot about that." Weiss said. "Well, let's make our way to Menagerie. It'll take a while, but-"
"Actually, we can take the Warp Pipe." Kali said.
"The Warp Pipe…?"
Kali smiled as she walked over toward a round table holding a few flower vases. She took off the vases and removed the cover, revealing a Warp Pipe in the dining room.
"You have a Warp Pipe in your house?!" Jade exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah, it just popped up the day before Adam kidnapped Weiss's baby." Kali explained.
"What?! Blake, why didn't you tell me?" Weiss asked.
"I was going to… and then the whole thing with Adam made it slip my mind." Blake responded sheepishly.
"Okay, fair."
"So, you disguise it as a table?" Whitley asked.
"Yes. Put a wooden lid on it, add a table cover, add flowers and voila, we have a cute table~!"
"And… you're okay with this?" Mine asked.
"I talked with the princess about this, but she said there's nothing they can do about it." Ghira said.
"So, we're making the most of it. Not only that, but it leads to Menagerie!"
"I can vouch for 'em." Blake added.
"Okay." Weiss nodded as she climbed over the Warp Pipe. "Here we go."
She hopped in.
At that moment, they (minus Calyrex) all got a text from her.
You guys coming or what? I'm all by myself here in this tropical environment.
"Yeah, that sounds like her." Whitley chuckled as they jumped into the Warp Pipe, where they would wind up right in the backyard of the Belladonna mansion.
"Wow! Right in your backyard!" Futaba said.
"And it couldn't have popped up in your other backyard?" Whitley wondered.
Ghira shrugged. "It happens."
"Wait, where's Calyrex?" Mine asked.
Weiss turned her head. "Over there!" She pointed toward where Calyrex was as they followed after him until they reached the desert.
"Yeah, I wouldn't want to build a house here." Futaba said. "Too… sandy and barren."
"Didn't stop the people at Vacuo." Mine pointed out.
Futaba shrugged. "They're just built different."
"I see… the desert stretches out as far as the eye can see." Calyrex mused. "Mind if I see the map to Menagerie?"
"Here you go." Kali handed him a map from her scroll.
"Ah, two-thirds of the place is desert…" Calyrex mused. "Well, let's see if we can't change it."
He floated up into the air and flew toward the desert, closing his eyes.
"This island shall be whole. This island…"
He opened his eyes.
"SHALL FLOURISH!"
BGM: Crown Shrine (Pokemon Sword/Shield - The Crown Tundra)
With a wave of both of his hands, he unleashed his full power as the desert underneath him started to glow brightly as grass started to grow as trees started to rise, flowers started to bloom as several ponds and lakes formed as one cliff edge formed a waterfall.
Everyone looked on in awe as shrubbery and fruit grew almost instantly as Calyrex landed gently on the ground.
"Welcome… to Anima's Oasis."
"Wow…" Weiss could only say as they walked around the new oasis. Almost immediately, they would see a few ordinary birds flying over out of curiosity along with a few butterflies, and then a Pidgey flew over that had been visiting Menagerie.
"Oh man… the fact that Faunus can now expand and Menagerie won't feel so claustrophobic…" Kali choked up at the thought of it as she hugged her husband, who was feeling choked up as well.
As they explored the newly refurbished area, Whitley spotted a cave on a cliff wall. He curiously walked over to it and pulled out his scroll, turning on the flashlight setting as he got a better look.
"Is this…?" He wondered as he put his hand on the walls and moved his hand, pulling it away to see some residue on his hands. He immediately gave a solid kick to the wall, making a hole as some yellow Dust poured out.
He gently put his hand inside the small mound and picked it up. He instinctively threw it across as it generated some electricity.
"No way…" Whitley said as he turned around and walked out of the cave. "Guys! Come here for a sec!" He called out to them as they turned to face him and approached him.
"You found a cave?" Mine asked.
"It's more than a cave. Take a look."
Blake was the first to walk in with Jade and Weiss behind her as they looked down at the Dust. "Wait… this is…" She whispered, picking it up and moved it around her fingers as static electricity caused her hair to stick up a little.
"A Dust Mine…" Weiss said.
"Yup, looks like it."
"Hmm…" Futaba pulled up a screen as she started to analyze the area. "Fire, Electric, Ice, Gravity… yup, it's a full fledged Dust Mine."
Weiss's eyes widened. "...You know what this means?"
"That the Dust economy is back in business?" Blake pointed out.
"Not only that, but we can have Faunus work in here to extract the Dust and… and… and I should have phrased that better." Weiss grimaced, facepalming.
Blake laughed. "Oh, we know what you meant. Maybe we can turn the tables and have humans work in here instead~" She teased, playfully elbowing Weiss that made her groan.
"Blake, you're making it worse…" Weiss groaned, hearing a teasing giggle from Blake.
"I'm kidding!" Blake chuckled.
"We could have the Faunus be in charge of it, make sure that everything goes smoothly that ships out to the other communities." Ghira said.
"Right." Whitley nodded. "That way, nothing fishy would go on. Have the SDC be built around here."
"The Fria Foundation will live on." Futaba said as she smiled. "Perfect."
"Alright. We got that settled… now how do we go about promoting it?" Blake wondered.
Whitley chuckled. "Give my sis and I some time. We'll figure something out."
"Yeah!" Weiss nodded as they all walked out to explore the area some more while Weiss and Whitley wandered off to talk shop.
At that moment, Futaba's phone went off. "Hmm?" She pulled it out, seeing who it was. "Edelgard?" She wondered as she answered it. "Hello?"
"This is Futaba, right?"
"Yeah?"
"Oh good. I was hoping I called the right number correctly."
"What's up? After the four of us Maidens exchanged numbers after Eggman's invasion, we haven't done much."
"Right, but I do have some concerns about the two of us."
"What is it?"
"You know how Raven and Cinder have auras and Semblances and we don't?"
"Yeah? …Oh, wait, I know what you're suggesting."
"Yes."
"I'm gonna have to axe the Semblance since I have my Persona and Technomancy, so I'm good with not adding another power to my repertoire."
"I was wondering if we could just only have auras for an extra blanket of security. Because, honestly, we're vulnerable compared to the other two."
"I can add defenses up just fine but… honestly, I feel like there are days when I need to keep my head on a swivel."
"You too… I talked about it with Hubert and he admitted that he believes it would be a good idea."
"Mmm… let me think about it because the only place I know that can give us that kind of stuff is… from The Medic." She shuddered at the thought.
"I've heard about his practices…"
"Yeah. Honestly… let me think about it and I'll get back to you."
"I'll await your answer. We'll do it together."
"Right."
Futaba hung up and looked at her phone. "Aura, huh…"
"Personally-"
"Ack!" Futaba yelped as she turned to see Jade near her.
"-I think it might be a good idea."
"How long were you standing there?!"
"Long enough." Jade chuckled.
"It's… honestly something to really think about, ya know? Especially since Medic has a hold of it… uuugh, why couldn't it be Mikan instead?"
Jade wrapped her arms around her. "You know I'll respect your decision no matter what, right? Aura or no Aura, you're still my Maiden."
Futaba smiled, wrapping her arms around her. "I know… and i know the Thieves'll have my back too." She said softly, both of them closing their eyes to kiss each other.
"Get a room, you two!" Mine teased, prompting Futaba to raise her arm and fired off some ice without even looking, freezing her mostly solid. "Ack!" She yelped before chuckling. "Okay, worth it~"

The next evening…
"That should do it." Daisy said, having carried a few items with Peach. "Hey big guy, how's the- whoa!"
"Took you slowpokes long enough." Bowser said, having placed a few beams down like they were nothing.
"Show off…" Daisy mumbled.
"Oh Daize, we all know he's got more muscle than you." Peach said.
"Yeah… but who's the princess that slapped his ass across the Kingdom that one time~?" Daisy grinned.
"Okay, that's just because I didn't know your own strength!" Bowser glared as Daisy gave him a smug grin.
"Oh, you two…" Peach shook her head, while nearby, Susie finished applying the electricity.
"And this wire goes there…" Susie mumbled as the lights came on. "Perfect~!"
The lights flickered and then shut off.
"Figures…" Susie sighed as she went over to fix it, while backstage, Weiss and Whitley were waiting for the main event to start, hearing the crowd getting louder by the second as ships and planes came far and wide, along with a few folks bringing their own Warp Pipes just in case. In fact, some of them rode on Pokemon and Wyvern-related monsters.
"I can't believe we had this made so fast." Weiss said.
"A lot can happen in twenty four hours." Whitley nodded.
"You got a point."
"Especially considering we helped establish the Solitas Emergency Fund." A voice said as they turned to see Ironwood, Esdeath, Councilman Sleet and Councilwoman Camilla approaching them with Robyn behind them.
"You guys made it!" Weiss said.
"We did what we could~" Esdeath smiled, pulling them into a hug.
"We're proud that you wanted to do this and help those who were affected by the Fall of Atlas and Mantle." Ironwood said.
"And we want to thank you for wanting to host a benefit concert in Menagerie." Sleet said.
"Indeed. The fact you wanted to organize a concert for what had transpired…" Camilla added.
"Well, we just wanted to give everyone a boost and unite everyone as one through these tough times." Weiss said.
Ironwood smiled. "We could all use it."
"Yeah. Helps that Toad Town is the perfect place to unwind… when Turtle Soup isn't blowing everything up." Robyn shook her head. "Anyway, break a leg!"
"You got this." Esdeath said as they walked off.
"Turtle Soup?" Whitley grimaced. "Poor guy doesn't deserve such a fate."
"Eh, just throw him into lava. He'll live." Weiss shrugged it off.
"Hey, you two." A voice said as they saw their family approach.
"Hey!" Whitley grinned as they both hugged Willow, Winter, Klein, Kirumi and Meryl.
"Oh, look at you two…" Willow smiled. "Both of you doing something out of your pure love. Honestly, if Jacques were doing something like this, it'd only just boost his own self image. I know for a fact he only got rid of those grave robbers just to make himself look good."
"I shudder to think what would have happened if he didn't kick them out and didn't care much about the grave robbing…" Whitley said, shuddering at the thought of what Aria might have done with him. Okay, get that crazy weirdo out of my head…
"Well, I'm glad we don't have to worry about that." Winter said.
"Yes. We can fully enjoy this concert." Klein said with Kirumi nodded.
"We'll be cheering you on!" Kirumi smiled as they walked away as Meryl gave them another hug.
"Knock 'em dead~" Meryl winked, fist bumping the two as she walked off.
"You ready?" Whitley asked.
"Yeah." Weiss nodded as the lights came on.
"I'm ready!" Susie chimed in.
"Let's do this." Weiss smiled, fist bumping Whitley as they walked onstage, seeing a massive crowd in front of them, ranging from humans, Faunus, Koopa Troop, Toads, Hylians, Inklings/Octolings, Erdrean Monsters, etc.
"Hey! Welcome to the main event!" Whitley called out to them as they cheered. "We know things have been rough recently, what with the Fall of Atlas-"
"And Adam and the Crimson Fang still out there!" An Atlesian called out to them.
"We took care of Adam. He's not an issue anymore." Weiss pointed out.
"But the Crimson Fang is probably still at large! Chances are that they didn't disband! You are responsible for them just like you Schnees are for the Fall of Atlas! You didn't protect us, you traitors!"
"Yeah!" A few agreed as they started to get riled up and started booing.
"Okay, back off!" Kaito warned as he, his sister and the Blackbell Heavies Industries being security alongside the Strauss family.
"A concert hosted by the Schnees? You gotta be joking…" Damian mumbled, as he was with Albedo and Nick while Yasuke was nearby as Junko had invited him.
Weiss had clenched her fists at the outburst, but the security making them back off made her relax.
"I know it's easy to point fingers, especially considering those who idolized a group who wanted a better life from the old SDC." Weiss explained. "But we're all better than that. We shouldn't be against one another, because that's how Salem will win. So that's why we decided to host this concert to unite the two fallen cities and unite them as one."
Weiss pointed to the jumbotron behind them. "As such and as you know, the name of this concert is-"
The power went out again.
"Oh, for the love of Haltmann Industries!" Susie growled, giving it a good smack that made it turn back on. "Hmph, should've done that earlier."
Back on stage…
STAND AS ONE, BE AS ONE
The crowd cheered as they brought out banners ranging from:
"SOLITAS STANDS AS ONE"
"UNITED WE STAND"
And
"FOR THE FUTURE"
Weiss smiled, holding back her tears. "We hope this will bring everyone closer from this benefit concert!"
"So enjoy the concert! You guys rock!" Whitley called out to them as the crowd cheered once more, where Weiss high fived Whitley and then the former walked off.
Whitley stripped off his shirt, revealing another shirt underneath that was white and had "STAND AS ONE, BE AS ONE" in blue-colored stylized text.
Willow pulled out a program, looking at the list of performances.
STAND AS ONE, BE AS ONE set list:

Willow smiled, looking all around her as concertgoers brought out glowsticks while wearing bracelets.
She also saw an Atlesian picking up a a small Faunus child and put him on his shoulders, both of them smiling.
She let out a giggle. "This should be a very productive event~" She said as Cardin, Ling, Chelsea and Kokoro arrived on stage.
One concert later…
BGM: Butter-Fly - All Cast Ver. (Digimon Adventure tri) (Start at 2:49)
Damian smiled. "Maybe the Schnees aren't so bad after all…" He said, not knowing that Ewen and Emile overheard him and smiled for him.
Junko looked at Yusuke, who was nodding his head to the beat and had a soft smile on his face.
Sweet, he likes it!
"Ah! Hey, watch it!" An Atlesian glared before her eyes widened at the Faunus. "Oh, sorry… I wasn't looking-"
"No no, it's okay." A hedgehog Faunus waved it off. "I didn't know I was getting too close…"
Both of them smiled.
"Want to get a coffee together after this?"
"I'd like that."
"I'm from Atlas. You?"
"Mantle."
The Schnees overheard the Atlesians making friends with Faunus and those from Mantle, all of them smiling with pride.
Maybe the Light Music Club can also learn a thing or two from the greats. Damian thought.
End BGM
Once the song ended, everyone took a bow before taking each other's hands and raised them up in unity, though some decided to pick up Big Man and hoisted him in the air.
"Ay!" (Whoa! This is different!)
"Thank you all for coming and we're glad you enjoyed the show!" Weiss called out as the crowd cheered.
Unbeknownst to them all, a Seer was watching the whole thing, with Salem witnessing it all.
"Tch. A unity concert? How unbearably naive. It'll take more than that."
The Seer took off undetected.
"I will admit… the songs were adequately catchy at best."
This Gaiden idea was inspired by Jacob and DarkRebellion!
Ibuki: Fria Foundation and SDC will live on!
Deadpool: Yeah!
Also, I had finally gotten around to watching Sonic 3. Pure. Cinema. That was so AWESOME! ...And for all you football fans out there, the Chiefs and the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl. Again. Not like we already had that match up two years ago. Ugh... the Bills totally should've won that game.
