Can't believe I forgot to put in the Gokaigers showing up in the suggestions for the next chapter. Man I feel really stupid. Oh well, they'll still appear in the story.

Anyway, I think I'll start off with bringing in another new team of rangers, this one comprised of students from UA, plus another OC given to me by DCD Gojira, a certain tiger themed monster and a certain pro hero from before. Not Endeavor.

For this team of rangers, you're all in for a 'fury' of a chapter, if you got the meaning. But first, let us answer some reviews.

First, we have the Guest: Yes, option three does seem promising, but I won't be bringing in these characters all at once, chapter after chapter I mean. I'll try to spread it out. But, more pro heroes supporting the rangers is the ideal thing. Not every hero is like Endeavor when it comes to his opinion on the rangers.

Wolfy322: Oh, they'll have their moment, but not yet. Trust, I got big plans for it and I have the dress for Nejire already figured out.

DCDGojira: Yep, Bulk and Skull are funny, but not as funny as the Three Stooges.

Aztec 13: SWAT gear for the Lightspeed Rangers? Now that sounds interesting. Might be useful for when I reach the Humarise arc in the future. Considering they have Krybots and that group are nothing but a bunch of terrorists.

Dragonstorm678: 4 first, then other new allies another chapter. Trust me, I have it all planned out now.

KINGKIAJU5: Interesting order. I think I know which chapter will be next after this one.

Chapter 31: Roar of the Jungle

Ocean Bluffs, Oregon

March 20th, 2221

Outskirts

Midnight

Ten thousand years ago, a great war was waged, but not like the wars people have come to know today. An evil being known as Dai Shi believed that animals should rule the earth, while humans were to be erased from existence. His army, known as the Dai Shi clan, nearly succeeded until brave warriors who channeled their animal spirits captured the Dai Shi and locked him away.

For ten thousand years later, the Pai Zhua, or Order of the Claw guarded Dai Shi, choosing new guardians year after year to ensure that he would never escape, but prepared themselves if he did escape. In 2008, Dai Shi was accidentally released and nearly succeeded in once again conquering the earth, only to be defeated by the team known as the Power Rangers Jungle Fury.

As lightning flashed over the sky above the abandoned quarry, it struck the ground and spectral energy was released. The energy flew through the air, before it slammed into the ground and exploded, and materializing into physical form, were the Phantom Beasts, animal warriors who fought both the Pai Zhua, and Dai Shi long ago.

They were Scorch, the Dragon, Snapper, the Basilisk, the two generals. Sonimax, the Catoblepas, Dynamir, the Minotaur, Unidoom, the Unicorn, Rammer, the Capricorn, Badrat, the Afanc, Grinder, the Hanuman, Osiris, the Cerberus, and Lepus, the Pixie, the phantom warriors. "We live once more!" Scorch announced, stretching his arms while his warriors and Snapper knelt down before him. "At last, we the Phantom Beasts shall take our rightful place as the rulers of this world."

"Scorch, I feel an immense negative energy. If I am correct, the Grand Cross has given us our second life. But I sense a greater darkness, more demonic." Snapper reported.

"Demonic?" Scorch questioned with a hand to his chin. "Interesting."

At that moment, an energy trail flew through the air and from it, Trakenna appeared. "Well, look at this. Seven powerful monsters revived by the Grand Cross, and very powerful ones to boot." She said with intrigue.

"Who are you?" Snapper demanded.

"I am Trakeena, daughter of Scorpius." Trakenna answered, her staff changing into a sword. "And as of now, you work for me."

"We are the Phantom Beasts! We work for no one!" Rammer shouted, charging towards Trakeena, but the daughter of Scorpius stepped aside, then hit the Capricorn monster in the head with the hilt of her sword.

"Cool it! You never even heard my offer." Trakenna snapped. "I know who you are, and I know your enemies are the Power Rangers. They also happen to be mine. You want to rule the earth, that's fine. So, why not work together? We destroy the rangers, and I get my revenge on the one who turned me into a monster."

"And why should we work with someone like you?" Lepus snarled, her claws sharpened and ready for battle. "We could easily take you down along with the rangers easily."

A gunshot rang out, putting the Phantom Beasts on alert as Sambash drove in on his motorcycle, his M29 in hand and the barrel already smoking. "You punks would be foolish not to accept our offer. The world has changed since the last time you were released. The humans of this planet have incredible powers that can easily overpower you." He explained, stepping off his motorcycle while keeping his gun trained on the Phantom Beasts.

"Lucky for you, we happen to know a few people who can tell you everything about the powers these humans have and, you'll have more than just your own men to send into battle." Trakenna added, walking towards Scorch. "What do you say? We join forces, destroy the rangers and we each get what we want."

Scorch thought for a moment. The strength of him, his generals, warriors and their Rinshi could easily overwhelm the humans and the rangers. However, at the same time, the world they were in was different than the world they remembered before their defeat at the hands of the rangers. His choice was clear. "Very well, we will accept your offer. But if you betray us, we will destroy you!" he accepted, with a snarl.

"I was about to say the same to you." Trakenna added, then in a flash, they all vanished, leaving no trace of their presence.

Or so they thought. Unbeknownst to any of them, a certain Phantom Beast who bore the appearance of a Chimera with the spirit of a white tiger, had observed the entire exchange. Remembering the act of kindness shown to him by a former enemy, he vanished as the lightning flashed again.

March 21st

UA High School

4:15 PM

Closing his locker and putting his sneakers on Kirishima stretched his arms, loosening the stiff joints in his body after another intense Hero Course class. Like a few other classes, this was a joint lesson with the students of Class 1-B, who despite Monoma's intense hatred for them and the rangers were actually nice people. Case in point, the relationship between himself and Tetsutetsu.

Though their quirks were the same, the two of them found they had a lot in common, and often trained together during these joint classes, which helped them further their 'manly bond' as Kirishima called it, some students even joked about the idea of those two forming a hero agency together when they graduated, considering they were a lot alike.

"Man, it sure was quiet today without Connor and the others. I mean, I know they have their own things to do and all, but it's just not the same without those guys around." Kirishima said to himself, tying his sneakers before closing his locker door.

"Hey, Kirishima!" Tetsu called out from the gate. "So, are you heading home?"

"Yeah, but I got to stop at some restaurant along the way. My mom ordered pizza for dinner tonight and she wants me to pick it up on the way. I think it's right near the station close to my place." Kirishima answered.

"Please tell me you don't like putting Swedish Fish on your pizza. That's just nasty." Tetsutetsu said with disgust.

"Nah, nothing like that." Kirishima assured.

"Well, it looks like you two are getting along well." Kendo said aloud. "And here I thought you two were starting to go at it like in the Sports Festival."

"Seriously, Kendo! You really think I'd be fighting with Kirishima? We're tight." Tetsutestu assured. "I'm not like Monoma, I don't try to rile up the guys in Class-A because I got an inferiority complex and I sure as hell am not like Bakugo. Dude's got a hell of a short temper, are we sure he's in the right school?"

"Nah, I don't think so. Bakugo's got the heart of a hero, he's just got some issues. I mean, who doesn't." Kirishima said in Bakugo's defense. "But I do have to admit, the fact he keeps singling out Midoriya and Connor is a bit unnerving. Maybe those guys have got some history, I mean, I know he and Midoriya do, but not so much on Connor."

"Guess only time will tell." Kendo shrugged, grabbing her backpack from her locker, but noticed Iida leaving the school on his own. "This might not be my place to say, but I really think Iida got some bad thoughts in his head. About a certain someone."

"Yeah, but I don't think Iida would do anything reckless." Kirishima shrugged. "But seriously, it's horrible about what happened to his brother. I mean, it's just terrible, a hero like his brother not being able to work again. I know I don't have any room to talk, but I'd probably be thinking about revenge myself."

"Dude, I kind of agree with you, but heroes don't seek revenge. Well, unless it's those comic book heroes or vigilantes, you know like the Punisher." Tetsu pointed out. "But still, I feel bad for your class rep."

"Well, it's not like we can do anything about it." Kendo told the two. "Besides, we're just students and not Pro-Heroes. Plus, I don't think the rangers could take on that man."

"Yeah, well, at least tomorrow is Sunday, so we got a day off from school, maybe I'll try and talk to Iida sometime, see how he's doing." Kirishima suggested as the group of them left the school and headed for the station, boarding their separate trains.

Sunday

9:00 AM

Saitama Prefecture

Saitama City

Unfortunately, Kirishima's plans to talk to Iida were put on hold when he got a strange message on his phone during the night, telling him to come to the very same restaurant his mom ordered pizza from the night before. 'Maybe a villain was able to get a hold of our personal information and is targeting me because I go to UA. But why would they want to meet at a pizzeria? Well, I guess there's only one way to find out.' He thought to himself and walked through the door of Jungle Karma Pizza.

"Uh, hello? Is anyone here? I got your message last night." Kirishima called out as he walked into the parlor. The chairs were all placed on the table, the lights were still off, and the kitchen was empty. "Look, if you're with the League of Villains then I'll give you a manly beating before the rangers get here!" he shouted.

"Rangers? As in Power Rangers?" a voice from the kitchen called out. Stepping out from the kitchen, was human male with black hair, black sunglasses covering their eyes, blue overalls with a broken strap on his left shoulder, covering a green shirt with the logo of Jungle Karma Pizza, shoes and an orange baseball cap backwards on his head. "Which Power Rangers are you talking about? Lost Galaxy? Wild Force? Lightspeed Rescue? The Timeforce Rangers? Space?" the man asked.

"Does it matter? I'll still kick your ass before they get here!" Kirishima snarled.

"Woah, easy there me amigo. No need to go ripping and tearing my buddy Flit here apart." A new voice said, coming down from the upper level of the building. "Ah, so I see you got my message. I knew asking your principle for the contact information about a few of his students was the right action."

"Wait, you mean principle Nezu sold us out to a villain?" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Villian? No, you got the wrong idea little dude." The voice said as exiting the kitchen was a man of twenty-six years old, with brown eyes, brown hair with purple streaks and wearing purple martial arts style clothing with a black claw like emblem stitched onto the left breast of the jacket. "I'm just a simple pizza parlor owner and martial artist. My name is David James, but most people call me DJ, Kirishima. So, how did you and your folks enjoy the pizza last night?"

"Well, it was good." Kirishima started to say, before snapping back to reality. "Wait a minute! Why'd you even call me here?"

"I'm glad you asked, my man. Come with me upstairs and I'll tell you and the others why I called you here." DJ said, leading Kirishima upstairs.

Following the strange man upstairs, Kirishima found himself walking into a large living area with a basketball court, an armchair which was placed in front of several dozen old school television sets, a single bed in the corner and to Kirishima's surprise, a few of his fellow students. "What the? Kendo? Ojiro? Tetsutetsu? What the hell are you guys doing here?" he exclaimed.

"Oh, it's quiet simple really, the four of you have been selected to become the newest Jungle Fury Power Rangers." DJ said.

"Wait, seriously? Us. As Rangers?" Tetsu asked in confusion.

"That's right my steel quirk amigo." DJ answered. "But it's not going to be all fun and games. You see, the Phantom Beasts have returned, and it looks like they are going to try and finish what they started all those years ago, even back when they fought against Dai Shi."

"But, I thought they were all destroyed?" Ojiro asked.

"They were." A new voice announced as Whiger walked into the room. "But now they've returned. The impending planetary alignment has opened a gate to the spirit world and the Phantom Beasts have returned, forming an alliance with the one known as Trakenna."

"Oh, that's right. I almost forgot. Whiger here is a former member of the Phantom Beasts, until the first Jungle Fury Red Ranger saved his life, at the cost of his own. But like the demons your Lightspeed friends have on their side, he's on our side." DJ explained. "But furthermore, I called you all here because you have the gift, the gift of animal spirits. The tiger, the Jaguar, the Cheetah and the Rhino."

"So, what are you saying, exactly?" Kendo asked.

"It's simple dudette. Your animal spirits have emerged and if you're going to be the new Jungle Fury rangers, you need to unlock and master them before the Phantom Beasts launch their attack." DJ answered. "Of course, you'll also have me fighting by your side, because I have the spirit of the Wolf."

The four UA students looked at each other with a bit of hesitation, before they looked at DJ. "When do we start?" Kendo asked.

"You're training starts now." DJ said with a smile.

The Moon

"So, eighty percent of the human population on the planet have an ability called a 'quirk' which grants them an unusual ability. Many of whom use that power to become 'heroes?" Scorch asked.

"The people have become infected with the quirk sickness, while we, the pure humans of this world are only twenty percent." Flect snarled, standing before the Phantom Beasts in Trakenna's base. "We, the pure humans of Humarise and those who wish to atone for being born with these powers shall purge the world of this sickness and save the world. But there are those who are quirkless who would fight against us, such as this boy." He continued, handing the Phantom Beast leader a picture of Connor. "This boys parents would have given us the tools needed to wipe out these false humans, but they refused and had to be eliminated. He still lives and must be destroyed."

"One human is nothing compared to the power of the Phantom Beasts." Snapper scoffed. "We can destroy this boy easily."

"That is no ordinary boy. He is the Red Lightspeed Ranger, and he has powerful allies." Vypra pointed out as she walked onto the scene. "Others have underestimated him and his friends, which has cost them their lives. He'll be dealt with, in time and when we are ready."

"For now, we're biding our time until we can launch an attack." Trakenna continued. "But, if you want to send a 'sacrificial lamb' to gauge them, then be my guest."

"Oh, we have an idea." Scorch said, snapping his fingers and called forth a monster with the spirit of the Buffalo. "Buffalord! You will be the first to fight our new enemies. Take the Rin Shi and attack the humans, gather their fear and make them suffer!"

"As you wish, General." Buffalord bowed, leaving the palace and headed for the surface.

"Wait!" Trakeena called out. "Take some Stingwingers and Krybots. You never know, you might just need them."

"As you wish." Buffalord said with a bow and took the said soldiers to the surface.

"He might have served Dai Shi, but he'll make for a good sacrifice." Sambash smirked.

March 24th

Jungle Karma Pizza

5:00 PM

Training the master their animal spirits was harder than they thought. Well, except for Ojiro who excelled at martial arts, though Kirishima considered that was one of the reasons his hero costume made him look like he was a karate master. Learning to channel their animal spirits into their body movements was unlike anything they had ever done before, in any kind of training.

Kirishima understood this, as did Tetsutetsu who were both currently sparring with Whiger and DJ. Whiger rushed towards Kirishima, channeling the spirit of the White Tiger into his attacks as he struck Kirishima in the head and chest with his claws, but Kirishima hardened his body to minimize the damage. "You're improving. The first time I hit you, I sent you flying into the wall, now you're able to hold your ground. You are indeed learning to channel the strength of the tiger into your body." Whiger said, impressed.

"Yeah, well, my quirk is pretty amazing, but it's nothing compared to other quirks I've seen." Kirishima admitted, hardening his arms, then charged towards Whiger, hitting the former Phantom Beast General in the chest, then kicked him out from underneath with a hardened kick. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to stay satisfied with how manly it is!" he exclaimed, as Whiger leapt back to his feet and the two continued their brawl.

Kendo raised her arms to block a strike from Ojiro, who countered with a series of aerial kicks which Kendo blocked with her arms. "If we'd actually fought each other in the Sports Festival, I don't know which of us would have won." She admitted, followed by a kick to Ojiro's chest, which the tail user blocked.

"Try to remember, you won't be able to use your quirks when you morph." DJ pointed out. "Especially you, Ojiro. That tail of yours might be useful, but in your ranger form, you won't be able to use it. It's your animal spirits and your martial arts that will be your greatest weapon against the Phantom Beasts."

"Yeah, it's a lot different than training with our quirks at UA." Ojiro said. "I mean, compared to what All Might teaches us when it comes to using our quirks, this is a whole different type of training than anything we've done before."

"That's all part of the challenge." DJ went on. "You see, your animal spirits, while they are a part of you, they require a lot more time and energy to unlock, rather than getting an x-ray to find if you got an extra joint in your pinky toe."

Yeah? Well, that don't mean a thing!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed, punching a sheet of metal repeatedly. "It's like the old saying goes, no pain, no gain!" he shouted, driving a hard punch into the sheet. Just as his fist made contact, it sliced right through the metal, like a bladed weapon. "Woah! Did I do that?"

"Oh, you sure did kid." Miriko said as she walked into the loft, hands on her hips and an impressed look on her face. "You weren't kidding when you said you found a few kids who are destined to be the new Jungle Fury rangers, David. These kids might not be green, but they got potential as rangers."

"Miriko!? What the hell is she doing here?" Tetsutetsu exclaimed in alarm.

"Well, Rumi is my girlfriend after all." DJ admitted, getting some rather curious looks from the students. "Oh, I get it, you're all thinking that if villains knew that she someone like me as a boyfriend, I'd be targeted to lure her out. Well, you don't need to worry, not only am I a martial artist, but this is something we keep under wraps."

"Plus, he's the only guy I know who can really give me a good workout and I'm not talking about in bed, I'm talking about when it comes to training." Miriko answered.

"That said." DJ began before he turned to Rumi. "Answer me this!" he then took a battle stance. "The School of the undefeated of the east!"

"The winds of the king!" Miriko answered, taking a battle stance of her own, then started throwing punches at each other.

"Zenshin!" DJ shouted.

"Keiretus!" Rumi shouted back.

"Tenpa Kyoran!" they both shouted, as their fists collided with each other. "Look! The east is burning red!" they shouted at once, resulting in sparks flying as flames exploded behind them.

"Well… that's an unusual greeting… I think." Whiger said with a sweatdrop.

"That was so awesome!" Tetsutetsu and Kirishima exclaimed at the same time, while Kendo clapped in amazement.

"I feel like I've seen that somewhere before." Ojiro admitted.

"Well duh, kid. It's not our own thing. It's from…" Miriko began before he stomach growled. "Ah, damn it! I've hoping all over the Hiroshima looking for some villains who need to get their asses kicked and skipped lunch."

"Well, why don't we call it quits for today. I'm sure that Flit has made a few pizzas and since we're not open, we can…" DJ started but was cut off when the building shook. "Ok, that wasn't an earthquake."

"Uh, boss. We got a problem!" Flit shouted as he ran up the stairs, then to the surprise of the students, his body glowed, and he shrank down into a tiny humanoid fly with four arms. "Oh no, this is bad. This is really, really, bad!" he said in a buzzing voice.

"WOAH! YOU JUST SHRANK INTO A FLY!" the four students shouted at once.

"Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that." Flit said with a sweat drop. "This is what I looked like ten thousand years ago after I was defeated by Camille, and she cursed me. She freed me from my curse after Dai Shi was defeated, but then I found out that I can change back into this form and haven't aged since. I've been with DJ's family for years and even helped DJ unlock his animal spirit." He answered.

"Can we skip the twenty questions and focus on what that rumbling was!?" Miriko shouted in annoyance.

"Oh, right." Flit replied. "It's a Rinshi Beast! And a very powerful one at that. It's Buffalord! He's back from the dead! And he's got some new friends!" Flit said, flying over to the tv remote and landed on the power button, turning the tv on and showed the broadcast of the attack. Leading the assault, was said monster, along with the Jaingshi-like warriors known as Rinshi, Stingwingers, and Krybots.

"Oh great, some bugs and scrapheads!" Mirko exclaimed, pounding her fists together. "Looks like I get to work up a bigger appetite. Keep those pizza's warm, I'll be back!" she said, leaping through the open window of the loft and towards where the smoke was rising from.

"Looks like Rumi is at it again." David sighed. "Always letting the adrenaline junkie part of her get the better of her. Then again, she is brave and devoted to her duties as a hero." He then turned back to the students. "You guys' better head home."

"No way in hell!" Kirishima shouted. "I don't care if I haven't unlocked my animal spirit yet. I'm not just going to stand by and let those monsters go around and attack people! All Might wouldn't stand by and watch, neither would Crimson Riot, or any other hero! Even if I can't fight, I can at least help evacuate the bystanders!"

"I'm with Kirishima on this one! Even if it's just helping with the evacuation, that's good enough for me!" Tetsutetsu said in agreement. "We might not have provisional licenses, but we can help on the side lines!"

"Do you two have a death wish or something!? This is a monster with a Buffalo spirit! That thing will run you through if you even get close!" Kendo pointed out.

"Yeah, Kendo does have a point, but they also make a good statement. We can at least help the civilians evacuate." Ojiro pointed out.

"Well, then we might as well all go." DJ said, grabbing a vine from the wall, then swung into a massive tunnel in the loft, which the students, with a bit of reluctance grabbed and followed suit, leaving Flit behind.

Downtown Saitama

5:30 PM

Lasers slammed into parked cars, blowing them up as Stingwingers and Krybots fired their respective ranged weapons, causing dozens of bystanders to run for their lives in fear, followed by the Rinshi firing a sort of purple energy from their staffs. Glass shattered and fell to the ground as Buffalord charged towards a parked car, lifted it up high into the air and tossed it aside, where it then exploded. "GIVE ME A CHALLENGE! I DEMAND A WORTHY OPPONENT!" he shouted.

The sound of sirens filled the air as police cars and Silve Guardian SUVs screeched to a halt, their occupants stepping out and aiming their weapons at the Buffalo monster, with Wes and Eric stepping out of the lead SUV. "Halt! You are under arrest!" Wes shouted.

"Don't make me laugh! I'm more than a match for a bunch of humans like yourselves!" Buffalord rebuffed. "Attack!" Buffalord ordered, sending his soldiers into battle.

"Time for, Timeforce!" Wes shouted.

"Quantum Power!" Eric shouted.

Both men morphed into their respective ranger forms, just the roar of engines from overhead echoed around. Above them, the five Jet Jammers soared overhead, allowing Jack, Archie, Reggie, Reina, and Emily to leap out of their vehicles, already morphed. "Looks like Trakenna hired some extra help!" Jack noted.

"Yeah, and it's a Buffalo." Emily noted.

Buffalord roared, then charged towards the seven rangers with such speed that he knocked them down in a matter of seconds. "Yeah! I'm a lean, mean, Buffalo!" he exclaimed.

"LUNA ARC!" Miriko shouted, slamming a powerful axe-kick on Buffalords head. "Listen up asshole! I haven't had anything to eat lately, and you interrupted my chance to have a bite with your bullshit! So, I'm going to kick your ass!"

"Tough talk, woman!" Buffalord roared, then charged towards Miriko, just as David, Tetsutetsu, Ojiro, Kendo and Kirishima arrived.

"Looks like Rumi's got this handled." David smirked, while Jack, Wes, Eric, Stacey, Regie, Archie and Reina got back to their feet. "At least they left us something to keep up occupied." He went on, gesturing towards the foot soldiers. "Alright, kids, you help with crowd control and let the rest of us deal with this." From his back pocket, he pulled out a purple and gold device with a bell and hammer feature, which he then attached to his wrist. "Jungle Beast! Spirit Unleashed!" he shouted.

With a series of karate moves, DJ was enveloped in a purple aura which then manifested in a purple and black suit with silver boots, knee pads, and gauntlets, a wolf themed helmet and the symbol of the Order of the Claw in the center of his suit. "With the courage of a wolf- Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger!" he shouted.

"So manly!" Kirishima and Tetsutetsu said at once.

"Jungle Fury! My enemy! I'll destroy you!" Buffalord shouted, turning his attention from Miriko to DJ, only to be on the receiving end of another Luna Arc. "Damn you both!"

"Better keep your eyes on us, asshole!" Miriko exclaimed, before she rushed towards the monster and pummeled them with a series of powerful kicks. She then skidded to a halt as DJ leapt over her shoulders, charging up a sort of purple energy in his kneecap which he then slammed into Buffalords chin.

A series of blasts from Eric caught Buffalord off guard, allowing Wes to charge in with his Chrono Sabers and attack, but the monster caught the blades, slammed his feet into Wes and knocked him away. The Galaxy Rangers then charged in with their Quasar Sabers, swinging their blades at Buffalord, but like Wes, they were knocked away by his power.

As the rangers fought the monster, Kendo, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu and Ojiro were helping the civilians evacuate the area. "Everyone! Please leave the area! It's too dangerous! Let Miriko and the rangers deal with the monster! Follow the instructions of the police and they'll get you to safety!" Kendo shouted to the bystanders.

Ojiro helped a woman who had tripped, getting them away from the battle, but he as he handed her off to the Silver Guardians, the foot soldiers began to attack the bystanders. Without even thinking, he rushed towards the foot soldiers, punching one of the Rinshi in the face, then kicked another with his feet, but a Krybot leapt at him from behind and knocked him to the ground, then punched him in the stomach.

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu stood back-to-back, surrounded by a horde of Rinshi who swung their staffs at the two of them. Kirishima caught one of the staffs and threw it aside, wielder included, then ducked to avoid a blast from another staff. "Since when can staffs shoot lasers!?" he exclaimed, leaving him vulnerable to a kick to the back from another Rinshi.

"Kirishima!" Tetsutetsu called out, kicking a Rinshi in the stomach with his foot, then chopped a staff in half with a karate chop. "Damn it! I'm really wishing Connor, and the others were here right now! Hell! I'd even take a swordsman right about now!" he exclaimed. He was then kicked into the arms of two waiting Rinshi, which held him as a third was about to run him through with its staff. Luckily for him, Shinso tackled the foot soldier to the ground, then drove his elbow into its gut. "Thanks man." Shinso nodded, then drew his sword to parry the attacks of two Rinshi, which he then cut down.

Kendo wasn't faring any better, finding herself surrounded by no less than a dozen Stingwingers and Krybots, all of whom swung their stingers and swords at her, keeping her on the defensive. She parried the stingers of one Stingwinger but was slashed across the back by a Krybots blade, causing her to scream in pain. "Those are some sharp stingers." She groaned, just before she got grabbed by a Krybot, which grabbed her chest, and made her very angry. "YOU CREEP!" she shouted, then punched said Krybot in the chest, which was then clawed by a massive sprit of a yellow cheetah that emerged from her punch. "Woah."

Kirishima was thrown to the ground by several Rinshi. He looked at them and almost by instinct, unleashed his own animal spirit, the tiger, as did Ojiro with his Jaguar animal spirit, both of which knocked their foes back. "Did we just…" Kirishima began.

"Unlock our animal spirits?" Ojiro finished.

"It seems that you have indeed unlocked your animal spirits." Whiger said aloud as he sprinted towards the four students, holding a wooden box in his hands which he then opened, revealing a set of three sunglasses colored red, blue, and yellow, along with a wooden-looking bracelet. "Take these, they are your morphers. Use them to become the Jungle Fury rangers like your master." All four teens nodded and took their morphers, then rushed towards the battle.

Eric, Wes, the Galaxy Rangers, DJ and Mirko were sent flying as Bufflalord charged at them. "Is this the best you can do!? I was expecting more from all of you!" Buffalord taunted. Mirko leapt back to her feet, then rushed towards the buffalo monster and pummeled them with a series of kicks, but Buffalord blocked each and everyone of her attacks, much to her surprise. "You might have the spirit of the rabbit, but you are nothing compared to one like me!" he growled.

"Hey! Ugly! How about a real challenge?!" Kirishima shouted as he, Ojiro, Tetsutetsu and Kendo stood side-by-side, each of them looking ready for battle.

"What can a bunch of kids do?" Buffalord sneered.

"We'll show you." Ojiro answered, as he Kendo and Kirishima took their sunglasses, which were actually the Solar Morphers and put them on.

"Jungle Beast! Spirit Unleashed!" the three of them shouted at once.

In a flash, the three of them found themselves in a forest, where they made several martial arts moves for a few moments before their animal spirits appeared, which they entered as a helmet snapped over their heads.

Tetsutetsu pressed a button on his bracelet, which then transformed into a bladed weapon. "Jungle Beast! Spirit Unleashed!" he shouted.

Instead of a jungle, Tetsutetsu found himself in an earthly plain, before he brought his arms into an x-pattern on his chest, which then exploded forcefully out into a ready stance. A series of rocks hovered exploded around him from the ground as he thrusted his morpher out, as energy like streaks spiraled around his body, energizing his suit before his helmet materialized onto his head.

The resulting morphs casted a blinding light that forced Buffalord to look away, but when he finally looked back, he saw that the four students were now wearing red, blue and yellow suits with traces of black on their arms and chests, a white neck line and helmets representing their animal spirits, for Kirishima, Kendo and Ojiro, the later of whom looked like he lost his tail when he morphed.

Tetsutetsu's suit was white with traces of black on his shoulders, orange stripes, a black and orange belt, and a rhino themed helmet with a black visor, like the others.

"With the strength of a tiger- Jungle Fury Red Ranger!" Kirishima announced.

"With the stealth of a jaguar- Jungle Fury Blue Ranger!" Ojiro announced.

"With the speed of a cheetah- Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger!" Kendo announced.

"With the power of a rhino- Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger!" Tetsutetsu announced.

DJ smiled underneath his helmet and leapt over, standing beside his students. "With the courage of a wolf- Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger!" he announced.

"We summon the Animal Spirits from within! Spirits of the Jungle! Power Rangers Jungle Fury!" they shouted together, an explosion erupting behind them.

"I won't make the same mistake that I did last time!" Buffalord snarled. "Destroy them!"

The Krybots, Stingwingers and Rinshi all charged towards the new Jungle Fury Rangers, while the Galaxy and Timeforce Rangers got back to their feet.

(Start 5-4-1)

"Come on guys! Let's show 'em what we got!" Kirishima shouted, charging towards the enemy soldiers with his fellow rangers and Mirko right behind him. Leaping over a wrecked car, Kirishima punched a Krybot in the chest, parried a staff of a Rinshi, then kicked a Stingwinger in the chest with both feet. "Oh yeah, I got the tiger in me!" he exclaimed, blocking the stingers of a Stingwinger with both hands, then lifted it over his head and drove it into the ground.

Ojiro kicked and punched a Krybot away but was forced to leap upwards as several more Krybots fired energy blasts from their swords. Landing back on his feet, Ojiro charged towards the robots, leapt into the air and landed in the center of the group, then ducked down as the robots brought their swords down on him, only for Ojiro to push the blades back up, then spun round and kicked them with his feet. "Wow, this is amazing."

Kendo pummeled a Rinshi in the chest with a series of punches, knocking it down to the ground where she then picked up the creature and tossed directly at several Rinshi that were charging right towards her, knocking them down. She leapt backwards, avoiding a series of blasts from a couple of Stingwingers, landing with grace on top of a wrecked car, which she then leapt from, driving her elbow into the chest of one of the Stingwingers. "This more than makes up for what I missed in the Sports Festival!" she exclaimed.

Tetsutetsu charged in like a rhino, knocking a couple of foot soldiers down to the ground as he zeroed in on Buffalord who was also charging at him. "Feel the power of the Rhino!" he shouted as he and Buffalord crashed into each other. Buffalord was sent flying through a wall, but multiple foot soldiers stood between him and Tetsutetsu who just smirked under his helmet. "Come on! I can take you all on!" he challenged, summoning his morpher into his hand which he shifted upwards, revealing a blade which he then used to cut down soldier after soldier that stood in his way.

With the soldiers distracted, Mirko and DJ were able to focus on Buffalord, with DJ delivering an energy infused kick to Buffalords horns, breaking them and allowing Mirko to leap in and pummel the monster with a series of kicks that sent him flying into a wall and leaving a massive imprint in the concrete. "Oh yeah! How do you like that, you ugly bastard?!"

"You destroyed my horns!" Buffalord howled. "I'll destroy you!" he then charged towards the two, bent on taking them down.

"I don't think so! Wolf Beams!" DJ shouted, pushing the underside of his morpher, then flinged it uprwards, generating a massive vertical slash of purple energy that sliced the monster in half, resulting in a massive explosion.

"That was so awesome!" Kirishima shouted as he, Kendo, Ojiro, Tetsutetsu, the Galaxy Rangers and Timeforce Rangers ran over to them, all powered down. "He was all like 'roar' and you were like 'hiyah' and then he went 'boom' You're awesome!"

"Got to say, I'm impressed." Jack agreed.

"Yeah, well, DJ's nothing if not impressive." Mirko smirked. "After all, martial arts are his forte, next to running a pizza shop."

"Truer words were never spoken." DJ admitted, powering down as well. "But, let's not get ahead of ourselves. The four of you still have a lot of work to do. You only scratched the surface of your ranger powers, and you all are training to become pro heroes. But given that Trakenna is now working with the Phantom Beasts, we'll need to be ready for whatever they through at us. That said, I think Whiger might make an excellent teacher for the four of you, at UA of course. I still have a pizza parlor to run, but I will be able to help with your training."

"I look forward to the challenge!" Kirishima smirked.

"Same here." Kendo agreed.

"I'm in to." Ojiro added.

"Don't go leaving me out of this!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed with pumped fists.

"Then welcome to the Power Ranger family." Wes told the four.

The Moon

"Buffalord served us well." Scorch reported. "Now we know that the Jungle Fury rangers have returned but are no more than children. They have not yet achieved their Jungle Master Mode or acquired their megazords."

"Knowledge is powerful weapon." Trakenna said in agreement. "They'll fall like all the rest."

"And then, we will rid the world of the Quirk sickness and those who fight to protect the false humans." Flect added.

"And the first step is about to begin." Sambash said aloud. "It's time for me to introduce myself to my brother and those foolish rangers.
