The next Chapter of Vessel of The Demon King. As they recuperate from what has happened in Sunagakure and prepare for the next mission, Naruto unleashes five of his most deadly warriors.

Chapter 4: The Venom Five Unleashed
While the events in Suna were transpiring, there were other things happening.
The Land of Swamps was seen, the desolate area living up to it's namesake filled with swamps that stretched for miles as the moon was shown shining above.
An Altar was shown and standing on it were several people. They were chanting a ritual as on the altar was the mural of a Serpent like being. They chanted loudly as they held their hands up in front of them, chanting for over an hour.
They continued to chant, not stopping as they performed the ritual as they did not move or even blink. For over several hours had they been there.
Soon, the ritual would be complete and at long last all they had dreamt of would come true. No one would be able to stop them once they were finished. The being on the mural would come to life, and bring forth a Kingdom that would last a thousand years.
As they reached the zenith of their ritual, one of the members suddenly fell down falling onto his face. This broke the chanting of some of them who looked over and saw that he was dead with an arrow sticking out of his back.
They heard the sound of an arrow being let loose and they looked up and their eyes widened as they saw it multiply into hundreds of arrows that became aflame and rained down upon them.
The group was bombarded with hundred of flaming arrows, that set the altar on fire as many tried to run and hide but to no avail.
A figure was shown in the air wielding a bow and had multiple feathers sticking out of her back as she looked down at the chaos unfolding
Suza, The Phoenix Demon was shown in the air as she draw back her bowstring and let loose with an arrow that then multipied as she rained them down upon. A smile was on her face as she watched them try to flee.
A group ran to the woods but then stopped terror in front of their faces at what they saw emerging from them.
Standing before them to their horror, was a massive being that towered over them. They might as well be ants in comparison looking.
Seiyu stood before them with contempt in his yellow eyes as he took hold of his great axe and swung it at them.
He swung his Axe, killing and sending multiple people flying with each swing of it. His Axe was over half as long as he was and even a full grown man would require both hands just to even hold it up.
But with his massive strength, it might as well have been a kunai with how easily he was swinging it with just one hand. With each time he swung it, there was a crack of thunder.
Those who bravely or foolishly charged at him were swatted away, their bodies broken and some of them being cleaved in two from the force of his attacks as any who got near him suffered a brutal demise.
The Leader of the group stood on the center of the mural and continued to chant, having not stopped the entire time, even as the rest of them were mercilessly slaughtered. He continued his chant, even as he was the last one left and arrows and fire surrounded him. As Seiyu and Suza stepped onto the altar to deal with him, he slowly turned around to face them.
"Bare witness..." He announced as his eyes were glowing Purple. "To the might of Moryo!" He shouted before his body was suddenly ripped apart as a giant snake head emerged from his body.
The Two Demons looked on as a giant Serpent, massive in size that it crushed the Altar they were standing on emerged from the dead human's body. The creature's body stretched for hundreds of feet as it reared up it's head it's glowing pupiless eyes as it hissed at them. From it's body, four smaller dragon like heads also appeared.
"So, this is what they were planning on?" Suza said with her arms crossed an amused look on her face as she looked upward not intimidated in the slightest.
"No matter," Seiyu said. "Perhaps it'll provide us with an actual challenge." He said as he gripped his axe.
Moryo roared at them and lunged forward with it's massive maw looking to devour them. The two got out of the way easily dodging it. Moryo hissed and let loose with a with dark substance from it's mouth at Suza who flew upwards. The other heads it possessed lunged at her but she flew and moved easily avoiding them. Getting her bow, she fired arrows at it's hide setting it on fire. The beast howled and snapped at her with it's mouth attempting to devour her.
Moryo moved it's body attempting to smash them and it's heads lunged forward as darkness covered over the entire area blotting out any source of light. It then attacked as it crushed anything in it's path.
"Over here!" A voice taunted it from above and it lifted it's head and saw Suza flying above. It sent Tentacles after her but she quickly flew around them.
"Demon Release: Crimson Arrow!" She shouted as she notched an arrow. She then fired and it shot off like a rocket and hit a head before exploding and destroying it.
Seiya swinging his axe cut off the tentacles that came at him. He was then tackled by a Dragon Head that attempted to pin him down. Using his arms, he held it's jaw preventing it from swallowing him.
With a growl and using his power he snapped it's jaw breaking it and crushing the head.
"Demon Release: Thunderbolt!" He shouted and holding out his axe, let loose with a barrage of thunderbolts from it, striking Moryo. The beast roared in pain as it was struck from it
"My turn! Demon Release: Phoenix Flames!" Suza shouted as she became engulfed in fire, bright orange fire that dispelled the darkness that Moryo had created to its shock. She then flew and pierced right through it's body, emerging from the other side.
Seiyu let out a roar as his eyes sparked with lightning as it surrounded him as the clouds above rumbled. He then opened his mouth and let loose a giant blast right at Moryo.
Moryo was consumed and engulfed by the blast, eradicated fully as it was destroyed, leaving no trace of it.
When the dust cleared, The Two Demons were shown standing having been victorious.
"Well, that was a fun diversion." Suza said looking on. Her Brother however was not amused.
"Hmph, is this the best that can oppose us?" He said in disgust. "Byako is a fool to have thought this was worth our time." The Dragon Demon said. "I question his methods if this is the folly he can think of."
"In due time we shall fight more worthy opponents Brother." Suza said to him. "He is returning soon and will provide us with more entertainment. Once he conquers the land again, this time we shall reign forever." She said before she flew off.
Seiyu watched her go. "Yes, a reign shall be forever, but not his." He said with a growl.
Hidden Location
"Sasori and Deidara have been slain." The Plant Man said to the assembled holographic group.
The surviving members that had gathered murmured to each other over the news. They had all met up, except for two who were now deceased as their numbers had dropped by a fourth now.
"Deidara I'm not surprised, he was pegged as the type to die young." Kakuzu said looking on. "A pity their bodies were destroyed, I could have turned them in and collected the bounty on their heads."
"Heh, always thinking about filling your wallet eh?" A man with blue skin and the appearance of a shark said with a laugh. "I figured you'd be more upset, they were often the best when it came to collecting your bounties in The Bingo Book." Kisame Hoshigaki said
"I would, if they didn't keep on mangling and destroying the bodies and made them unrecognizable preventing me from getting paid." The Missing Nin of Takigakure replied.
"Hmph, is there anything you think about other than Money?" The one next to him said with a disdainful scoff. He wore around his next a scratched hitai-ate of Yugakure
"Actually, yes, finding a way to end your wretched immortality so that I can stop hearing you yap about your God and finally kill you Hidan!" Kakuzu said turning to him his killing intent flaring.
"You'll find your money won't do you any good when I'm done with you, you greedy bastard!" The other said raising up his Scythe.
"Silence!" A figure in the middle said ordering them to stop their bickering. "Cease your animosity or else you will wish you were joining Sasori and Deidara in the afterlife." He commanded his eyes glowing and the two relucantly did so. "Zetsu, continue your report."
"Yes, do." Kisame said. "From what I hear, Sasori was done in by a Kunoichi of The Leaf. Did she also kill Deidara?"
"No..." Zetsu replied to him causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"Then one of Suna's Ninjas did?
"No. Deidara was defeated by neither Konoha or Suna."
"Speak plainly." The Akatsuki Leader ordered him.
"He was slain by a new figure. One which I have never seen before. Who possesses great and formidable powers." Zetsu's black side said to them. "He declared himself as Byako; The Demon King. And that he would be the one who conquers the entire land." His white side then side.
This news caught the interest of the remaining group.
"Demon King? Quite a title this Byako has given himself." Hidan noted.
"Never heard of him, I'd known if he was in The Bingo Books." Kakuzu said.
"Deidara stood no chance against him, even if he had both arms and was at full strength he would still have been killed." Zetsu explained. "Nothing Deidara attempted worked, his armor he wore withstood even his strongest explosions as if they were dull kunai. He sliced off his other arm and body and then took Deidara's head clean off and crushed it."
Kisame let out a low whistle. "Impressive, Samehada and I have been aching for a good match and this guy sounds like a foe worth fighting. What did he look like?" He asked him who shook his head.
"His helmet hid his face from me as I could not see them, before I could try to get in closer, he was joined by others. They...were not human in their appearance." The black side reported
"That's rich, coming from a damn plant." Hidan replied dryly.
"He was joined by what looked like a Tortoise who referred to him as Brother. He also had troops of his own but they wore no Hitai-ate. His swordsmenship was swift and decisive, he slew Deidara with it before he could even react."
"Well, I was curious, now I am intrigued." Kisame replied
"Kisame it would be unwise to be so eager to challenge, his swordsmenship was superb and he delivered attacks that even you might not be able to defend against. Even your former allies Zabuza and Raiga would have been slain by him." Zetsu told The former Swordsmen of Mist.
Kisame let out a low murmur and pressed his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We'll see about that." He muttered darkly to himself.
"So a new player has entered the game it seems." Pein said narrowing his eyes. "And has given himself a blasphemous title. Demon King, how foolish." He said with disdain.
He had seen numerous arrogant fools giving themselves titles and names that made them sound grand, and they had all died the same.
"We should not underestimate this enemy." Itachi Uchiha said speaking up. "Any who can easily kill Deidara is not a foe to take lightly." He advised them. "Zetsu, you said Sasori was defeated by a Leaf Nin correct? Explain."
"Sasori was slain by The Kunoichi, apparently trained by The Godaime. She was quite powerful as she blocked out his poison and shattered his puppets and pierced his heart container."
"Someone managed to counter his poison?" Kakuzu said surprised. "Good thing I didn't bet on that ever happening. She has been trained by Tsunade correct?"
"Correct," The White Half said. "When she defeated him, Sasori gave him information regarding The Traitor, Orochimaru."
"Orochimaru?" The blue haired female of the group asked.
"Well Well, our old friend has finally showed himself." Kisame said with a laugh. "Apparently your little brother has been running around with him Itachi."
"What my Brother does is of no importance to me Kisame." Itachi responded.
"Then I suppose you won't mind if I collected the bounty on his head would you?" Kakuzu asked him. "Word is Konoha is offering seven figures for his head, attached to his body or by itself."
"Pein," Hidan said speaking up ignoring him. "How much longer until we know the location of the next Tailed Beast. We need all eight."
"The next one shall be located soon. And I believe you mean nine, there are nine of them."
"What? But The Kyuubi was destroyed, when its vessel was slain by Sasuke, so too was the beast." Hidan said in confusion. "There are only eight now."
"No, I can sense The Fox is still alive somehow." Pein said to them.
"But what about this Byako? From what Zetsu said, he's gonna destroy us all." Kakuzu asked. "I'm not in the mood to be watching my back all the time knowing that I'm being hunted."
"He is of little importance." Pein said dismissing it. "Deidara died because he was a fool too obsessed with his art to know when to retreat. He will be nothing but a diversion we can deal with at anytime."
The group was silent as if in agreement but Itachi had a skeptical look on his face.
"In the main time, we must talk about filling up our vacant slots."
Konoha Hospital
"Tell me the name again."
Raising up from the pillows from the hospital bed he was currently on, Kakashi looked on at the Godaime
"King Byako." He said as he was back in Konoha.
He had been unconscious for a day in Sunagakure before waking back up. Sakura and them were relieved to see him well but he was still exhausted from using his Sharingan. He had to be carried back to Konoha by Might Gai.
What was most surprising was the appearance of Gaara, The Kazekage was alive. His Siblings' had been stunned and shocked that he was, although now no longer having Shukaku in him. It had been a Miracle it seemed as his siblings' had been overjoyed that he was alive.
But there had been little time to celebrate the turn of events, Sakura had told him about what had happened, of the information she had gotten when she defeated the other Akatsuki Member. That of Sasuke's whereabouts.
"I have not heard of this man before." Tsunade said to him.
"Neither have I, he appeared out of nowhere, killing The Akatsuki member I was after. He said that he was going to conquer all of The Elemental Nations, including Konoha if we did not surrender." Kakashi said as he was hooked to an IV as his heart rate was being monitored. He had several broken ribs and damage to his spine from his battle with Ushi-Oni.
Tsunade looked on at him before shaking her head. "Something odd is going on as of late. Reports have come in of strange creatures being spotted. Shion, The Priestess of The Land of Demons has sent me letters of how beings, that look similar to the ones that Gai and his Team fought have been seen. Also an old Castle there has become surrounded by a thick fog and that anyone who goes into the fog, never comes out."
"Do you think it has something to do with Byako?"
"If I was still a Gambling Woman I'd say it was." Tsunade told him. "But for now, there's the matter of what we have learned. Regarding Sakura's information."
"The time has finally come hasn't it? The mission to get Sasuke." Kakashi said. His former student turned Missing Nin, and the one who had killed Naruto. "I wish I had never taught him The Chidori if I knew this would be how things went."
"Don't blame yourself Kakashi."
"As their Sensei the fault is mine for what happened three years ago. I was too ignorant and didn't pay attention to my own words to look underneath the underneath until it was too late. I thought that Sasuke was growing bonds with them, and that it would help him give up his goal to avenge his Clan. I never imagined that this would happen." He said bitterly. Not a day went by when he thought about what he should have done instead.
"Sakura has insisted on going on the mission." Tsunade told him who let out a murmur.
"This isn't right, she's not ready." Kakashi said.
"She's gotten top marks and has become one of The Leaf's finest." Tsunade told him
"I know that, I don't doubt or second guess her improvement. But it's up here that she's not ready." Kakashi replied and tapped a finger against his head. "Or down here." He said and then gestured to his heart.
"Maybe so, but she's the only one who knows where the location is. She has the information of where Orochimaru's base is at and won't tell us unless we let her go on the mission. She would've gone by herself I believe if we didn't let her go."
"Stubborn girl." Kakashi said. "I wonder where she got it from?" He asked and gave Tsunade a dry look who raised an eyebrow.
"I've given her several exploding balls with sleeping gas in them to use. Potent and strong enough to knockout a full grown Lion. All Sasuke needs is to inhale it and he'll be knocked out cold. I've given instructions that Sasuke must be captured and brought back here alive."
"I don't suppose she liked that."
"She knows the necessity of it. Sasuke, if the mission is successful and captured will be brought back here and trialed accordingly for his crimes." She told Kakashi. "Only killing him there as a last resort and no other option, I know she wants Justice for Naruto but I can't have her killing indiscriminately. Sasuke must face due process and punished by law instead of by vigilantism. The selected group will leave in two days for Grass."
"I'm going." Kakashi said starting to pull himself up and Tsunade shook her head.
"Kakashi, you are in no shape. Not after your injuries and the toll of using your Sharingan. You are going to have to stay here."
"Lord Hokage with all due respect to as you as a Doctor, I know my own body better than anyone." He said in a rather smug tone of voice. "I know that I can go. I'm in the prime of my life and health. I can take five times the amount of damage that I've already taken and still be fine. There is nothing you can say that will stop me." Kakashi proclaimed and with a lot of effort pushing himself up turned his body over to the side so he could get off the bed.
Tsunade jabbed a hard finger into his chest and Kakashi fell backwards back onto the bed. He went to push himself back up but to no avail.
"You can either lie down and recover on your own, or I could sedate you and tie you to the bed Kakashi, but you are staying here." Tsunade told him and she wasn't bluffing. "I've decided that Tenzo would be the field leader for the mission. He'll be known as Yamato for it."
Kakashi grudgingly nodded his head. "There would be nobody better for the task." He said as she knew had made the right decision. "I would trust him with my life. A two man squad though won't be enough. Who else have you selected to join them?"
Tsunade crossed her arms over her large bosom a frown forming on her face. "Unfortunately, I didn't get the choice. One of Danzo's Root Ninja shall be joining them."
"Danzo?" Kakashi said and narrowed his eye. "What's that old War Hawk doing getting involved in this mission?" He asked in suspicion.
"I don't know, but he wouldn't be scheming something if he wasn't." She said a distrustful look on her face. "He's always got five plans in place." She told him and Kakashi nodded his head sharing her sentiments.
After Tsunade had nearly stepped down from The Godaime. Danzo Shimura, the one time rival to Hiruzen Sarutobi had positioned himself to be the Rokudaime Hokage, using his influence on Koharu and Homura, the two old fools of The Council to convince them she should resign and he be nominated as the next Hokage. However, Tsunade had given an impassioned speech, vowing to do her duties as Hokage and that the incident that had happened with Sasuke would never happen again, gaining many supporters amongst the civilians and ninjas who believed in her.
"I'll talk to Yamato, let him know to keep an eye out in case that Ninja has anything he was told to do by Danzo." Kakashi said
"Good idea, and I got a trick up my sleeve as well." Tsunade told him and Kakashi nodded
"How is Jiraiya?" He asked
A somber expression appeared on Tsunade's face. "Drunk and reeking of sake. Same as he always is anymore. I pretty much have to run his spy network now. He no longer cares about anything I'm afraid. Thank god Shizune off handily suggested I use a Bushin to help with the paperwork that way I can run it and help train Sakura."
Flashback
"Ugh! I've been here since morning and I've not even made a dent in this!" Tsunade shouted two years ago as she was neck deep in paperwork. The door opened and in stepped Shizune with another pile of papers. "Shizune, if you value your life you will leave with those right now." She warned her
"Sorry, but it's about the recent rash outbreak." Shizune said and Tsunade groaned as she placed it there.
Shizune turned to exit. "I don't know why you don't ever use a Bushin to help with it." She said shutting the door.
Tsunade was silent at what she just said as she comprehended what she just heard. The pen in her hand slowly cracked and broke apart from how tight she held it. She got up from her chair and Tsunade walked over to the wall and placed her hands on it. She then reared her head back and slammed it against the wall as hard as she could leaving dents in it.
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" She shouted as she did so repeatedly for never thinking of such a thing.
"I see..." Kakashi said shaking his head. "He was hit hardest I'm afraid by...what happened to Naruto."
"I don't know if he'll ever come out of it. Every time I try talking to him he just says to leave him be." Tsunade said shaking her head as well. "Even at my lowest, I didn't became as much of a lush as he is."
Kakashi let out a sigh. "We can only pray he comes out of it, or at the least be able to write Icha Icha again."
"Don't get started on that! It's bad enough I found out he used my measurements for one of his characters." Tsunade said in annoyance.
"Hey, to you it's perverted smut, to me and others it's a treasure greater than a Gold Mine." Kakashi told her.
"Just for that remark, I'm cutting your medicine dosage in half today." Tsunade replied
Elsewhere
He found himself again in the Sewer, knee deep in the foul water, where he had been once before.
He knew the route, and which way he would have to take. In a matter of moments he found the burning source of light.
Stepping forward into the room, he again saw the blood red eyes and snarling visage. But he saw more this time. He saw trapped in a cage, a gigantic fox with orange red fur.
It's most noticeable trait was it's tails. One, Two Three, Four, Nine. Nine tails it had in total sticking out from it.
"So, you're back again." The Fox said speaking up. Naruto looked on showing no emotion as the giant Fox glared at him. "Using my tenant as a body still."
"I've come to see if you are as mighty as I envisioned when I first saw you." Naruto said to him speaking in Byako's voice.
"Hmph, and do I pass the test?" Kyuubi dryly asked as he glared at him.
"Your powers are great and mighty, that I do not doubt." Naruto told him. "But you will never accomplish anything I'm afraid." He told the Bijuu who narrowed his eyes. "Not in your present state. You or any of The Bijuu."
"Come closer, and you'll see what I can accomplish when I rip and tear your body apart!" Kyuubi dared him who smirked.
"I did not come here to mock you, I come here for a bargain." He told The Fox who's ears twitched. "I desire conquest of this land as I did before."
"And you need my assistance? How typical." Kyuubi said putting his massive head on his paws. "Go away, I feel a nap coming on." He said to him.
"You desire revenge on The Humans who imprisoned you do you not?" Naruto asked and Kyuubi then opened an eye at what he just said. "With our combined powers, we can both obtain our goals." He said to Kyuubi.
"How intriguing." Kyuubi said seeing the prize he was dangling before him. "I still desire revenge on the accursed Humans who trapped me in here, and your Siblings are forcing me to share this body with you as I prefer not to have a roommate!"
"We both are mighty, as well as my Brothers and Sister, but we cannot underestimate the Humans as I learned the hard way what happened when I did hundreds of years ago." Naruto said to him. "My Siblings may dismiss them as weaklings' but you can kill a hundred humans and ten thousand will rise up in defiance each time you do I have learned." He spoke and a low growl escaped him recalling those who had trapped him in stone and destroyed his body.
"Humans are a tenacious and irritating species I agree with you." Kyuubi told him. "Your deal is tempting as I will have to think it over, but what of The Boy?"
"He'll be of no consequence." Was the reply as Naruto turned and walked away.
Finding himself back in his chambers, Naruto exited it as he approached his throne room in the main chambers. Inside it were several others who gave him a wide berth as he strode up to it and sat down.
"Gashadokuro!" Naruto shouted out a name. "Step forward."
The sound of bones rattling together was heard as a wretched looking being approached crawling on it's hands and knees, a pathetic miserable sight. It approached him it's head down looking at the floor not looking up at him.
"Y-Yes King Byako?" A timid fearful voice came from it.
"I have a task for you, you are to go to Konoha, The Hidden Leaf Village." Naruto commanded him. "Go and spread fear and terror with your special power." He instructed the Demon. "Make the whole place filled with the sounds of screaming."
"B-But M-Master, all by myself? You would have me go alone?" The sniveling creature protested daring to raise it's head slightly. "I am but a useless weakling! I cannot hope to-"
"Begone!" Naruto ordered with a roar and the wretch obeyed and left
"Cobra! Scorpion! Lizard! Toad! Centipede!" He then called out.
Five beings came forward, each clad in different color and wearing Ceramic Masks to cover their heads. They were the ones who Gebu had introduced him to the other day. They approached him before dropping to one knee and bowing their heads
"I have a mission for you Five." He said to them. "It is time I begin my Conquest. We will need land to build our forces."
The group listened on as he gave them orders.
Two Days later, Konoha Training Grounds
Sakura was shown at the training grounds, swinging and using her twin sabres, getting in some training.
She did slow slashes and swipes with them, controlling her breathing as she held them. She moved about gracefully as she did strikes, parries and counters.
Her Element she had found out was Water, she specialized in Water Type Jutsu. This was a good thing to her as she would be able to counter Sasuke's Fire Jutsu he had, that would give her an advantage.
"That's enough." She decided as she had done enough last minute training.
Strapping them back to their sheaths and getting her kunai holster and other medicine tools she then left.
Before she made her way to the meeting spot, she decided to go somewhere else first.
She made her way through Konoha, passing by the people who went about their lives. She paid them no attention as she went, ignoring what they were saying and talking about.
She went on when she spotted a group of Ninja passing by who she recognized. One was speaking loudly and had a dog by his side, the other was quiet with shades over his eyes.
The third and female of the group had long blue hair and was wearing a purple sweater and blue pants. She had violet eyes and a hitai-ate around her neck.
Sakura looked on at Team 8 as they didn't talk to her as they were busy it seemed like.
As she passed Hinata, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Hinata turning her head and glaring at her as they did.
Continuing on, she soon arrived at her location.
Sakura looked on at the grave site and headstone before her. It had been freshly tended to as there was no signs of weeds growing on it and the grass was neatly trimmed. Konohamaru and his team did constant work to make sure that it always looked good and wasn't blemished.
On the headstone, wrapped around it was a Hitai-ate, with a symbol of The Leaf Village on it. Sakura looked on as she stared at the headstone looking on at the name that was written on it.
Naruto Uzumaki
This place marked Naruto's grave, his eternal resting spot.
"Hey Naruto, I'm back." She said as she talked to the headstone. "Guess what. We managed to save Gaara. I'm sure that will make you happy." She said as though she was talking to him and he was standing in front of her alive. "I hope you are doing well. Iruka is doing well, I saw him the other day. He and Anko were on a date, you remember her? I think something serious maybe happening between them." She said with a sad smile.
Sakura looked on at his grave keeping quiet for several moments until she finally spoke up. "Naruto, it's finally happening. I'm going after Sasuke. I'm going after him as we found out where he is. He's in The Land of Grass with that bastard Orochimaru and now's our chance to finally get him. I know it's going to be tough, but I've been training real hard for three years for this mission. I'm not going to back down and be afraid like I was when I was a rookie." She said as she continued to speak to it.
A lone tear started to appear on her face as it went down her cheek. "Naruto...I'm so sorry. I know I've said it a thousand times before to you but I don't feel like it's ever enough." She said as she could no longer hold back her tears. "It's my fault that what was happened to you, that you are dead. I know you say it's not but I can't believe that. I'm the one you begged you to go, to make that stupid promise. If it weren't for me you'd still be alive and here with us." She said as her shoulders started to shake.
She remembered the last time she saw him before he left Konoha on that ill fated mission. His beaming smiling face and his final words he said to her before he left
"It's a promise! You can count on it! A promise of a life time!"
Sakura dried her tears as her resolve hardened. This was no longer the time to cry, she had made a vow and was going to see it through. All of her efforts and training had finally lead to this. "I'm going now Naruto, I'm going to go get Sasuke." She vowed. "And when I do, I'm going to bring him here, drag him back if I have to, so that he can apologize for what he did to us. I'll be back soon, I promise you." She said before she turned around and exited.
She soon arrive at the meeting spot, and found the others for the mission already there.
Sakura looked on at the two, the first and oldest of them was a tall man around Kakashi's height who had short brown hair and black almond shaped eyes. He wore headgear covering up his head and had his hitai-ate strapped in it. He wore a Jonin vest and the traditional Leaf Shinobi outfit.
"You must be Yamato." Sakura said looking on at The Jonin.
"Yes, that is what I'm going by for this mission. I know your Sensei, Kakashi." The man replied to her. "We have worked together on many a mission and in The Anbu Corps. He has told me a lot about you and has sung your praises. I have high expectations for you on this mission." He told Sakura who nodded her head.
Sakura looked on at the other team member. He had short black hair and was wearing a black and grey outfit consisting of a short shirt that exposed his belly and pants. On his back had a Tanto blade strapped to it. He stood there with no emotion on his face.
"And you are?" Sakura asked.
"I am Sai, I am a Member of Root." The Teenager replied to her.
"Root? I've never heard of that." Sakura said in confusion.
"They are a Black Ops Corp division of The Anbu, assigned only for the most dangerous tasks and jobs." Yamato filled her in. "They are headed by Lord Danzo." He said to her.
(Danzo...) Sakura repeated in her mind. She had heard Tsunade talking about him before. She told him that he was a man to never let your guard down around. And the few times she had seen the one eyed man, she had to agree with her.
She then noticed that Sai was looking at her, staring at her with a false attempt at curiosity.
"What?" She asked getting annoyed that he kept staring at her.
"Your forehead." Sai said motioning to it.
"What about it?" Sakura asked.
"It's nothing, but I was told and have studied that those with foreheads such as yours that are wider than normal are considered and viewed by people as ugly." He told her with a smile
Sakura glared at him for his remark. Already she did not like him, but she did not say anything. When she was younger, she would've responded to someone insulting her forehead with fists and insults of her own. Instead, she lightly raised her foot up and then tapped it against the ground
Cracks appeared on the ground as it shook and the area around them rumbled, making Yamato's eyes widen at the impact of it.
(All that with just one tap of her foot?!) He said in his thoughts, truly she was Tsunade's successor.
"Do you have anything else you want to say?" Sakura asked Sai narrowing her eyes, as though daring him to speak up. To his credit, he now knew that he should shut up.
"Now that we are all here, we can all go." Yamato said.
"Hold it!" A voice suddenly called out.
The three looked on and saw a Jonin approaching them.
"Shikamaru," Sakura said as she saw him jogging up to them.
"Couldn't wait a minute for me huh?" He said to them. "Sorry I'm late as I was in a meeting just now, but I'm going on this mission to The Land of Grass." He announced to them
"What?" Sai said and for the first time he showed actual emotion as surprise appeared as he was caught off guard.
"Shikamaru, I've received no word that you'll be joining us." Yamato said to him.
"Well it's sudden, I only learned about it just recently and decided to tag along."
"I was told that this was going to be a three person team." Sai said. "You have no permission to be here."
"Actually I do." Shikamaru said and reaching into his vest pulled out a document. "Signed by The Hokage herself; I'm going with you guys to The Land of Grass for this mission. And last I checked, she outranks everyone else here in Konoha." He said as he held it out and Tsunade's seal was on it. "Go ahead and check to see if it's a forgery if you want, if you're not convinced."
"That won't be necessary Shikamaru," Yamato said.
"This seems unnecessary," Sai protested. "This mission requires only the bare minimum of people on it, an extra will only increase the risk of failure."
"Well, you're free to leave then." Sakura dryly told him. "You can stay and he can take your place." She said to Sai. "I'm sure he'd be more useful to this mission than you would be."
"That's enough," Yamato said speaking up before Sai could respond. "Shikamaru has proven himself to be able to more than hold his own. He'll be a fine addition to the team what with his genius intellect and Clan's Shadow ability. Shikamaru, I hereby place you as second in command, in the instances of where I'm not around, you'll be in charge of the others."
"I'll try to live up to your expectations of me." Shikamaru said as he walked over and stood beside Sakura.
"Thanks for coming Shikamaru." Sakura told him with a smile. "Glad you're here." She said as she felt more confident now in the mission that someone she knew was with them
"No problem, I had a feeling that when Tsunade ordered me to her office I was going on a mission with you." He responded to her. "But remember, despite your personal feelings on the matter, our mission is to capture Sasuke alive. He's no good to us dead."
"I know." Sakura replied having heard it before but then smirked. "Also, I've got a message for you from Temari: Are you too lazy that even on a S Class Mission and my Brother's life at stake that you can't come and see me?"
Shikamaru looked away an annoyed look on his face. "Troublesome..." He muttered hiding the pink marks on his cheeks.
"Alright: We are to head to The Tenchi Bridge in The Land of Grass, our target is located there." Yamato said explaining the details of the mission. "We are to capture Sasuke Uchiha, He is a missing nin who has defected to Orochimaru three years ago who we have discovered has a base there. He is to be brought back alive, unless under the most extreme circumstances. Are you all ready?"
Sakura and Shikamaru nodded their heads as they were ready. Sai said nothing but still seemed apprehensively.
"Let's go then." Yamato said and they then left the village to begin the mission.
The Land of Noodles, the next day
A loud slurping noise was heard as a man was seen dining outside.
He eagerly slurped up the noodles from his bowl, getting each and every one as he ate. He then picked the bowl up and drank the broth.
"Ahh! Very Tasty!" He proclaimed with a smile as he wiped his face.
He was a very large man, with a big stomach, who was dressed in rather flamboyant clothing. He had light blonde hair in a pompadour style.
"Lord Chikara, do you want another serving?" A servant asked as he was dining.
"But of course, food that is delicious such as that must be enjoyed more than once!" He said with a smile. He was The Daimyo of The Land of Noodles and eating his lunch for the day. "To think though, next week will be my wedding day! I hope my Bride enjoys big meals as much as I do!"
In a week he was to be wedded, to marry a Princess in an arranged wedding. Already he had planned everything for it, from the music to the seating arrangement and most importantly to the food. "I hope she's rather plump, I can't stand girls that are toothpicks." He said as he awaited his next plate of food.
Some of his guards and servants had made wagers whether he would have to be refitted for his tuxedo for it, although not to his face.
As the tray was set before him, he rubbed his hands and got ready to scarf it down.
Suddenly there was a gargling sound. "What was that?" He said in confusion
To his shock, one of his guards fell over onto his back with shuriken sticking in his chest. "What the?!" He shouted standing up terror on his face.
"Attack!" A voice shouted and from out of nowhere, five masked figures appeared from the trees dropping down.
"D-Defend me!" He shouted in fear ordering his men who off guard and not expecting an attack were slow to react.
One clad in white and with a Centipede on his mask lifted his arms, revealing that he had six as two wielding polearms ran at him. They brought them up to swing and cut him down but he responded by throwing several punches, in less of a second he had hit both of them multiple times. Unable to react or defend themselves they were pummeled.
"Centipede Style: Rapid Fire Punch!" He shouted and delivered even faster punches.
The largest of the group, clad in yellow and with a Toad on his mask strode forward. He made no move to defend himself as one charged at him wielding a club. He stood still uncaring that he was about to be hit.
They swung at him, but to their shock, it had no effect on him as it bounced off. He then smacked them in the chest and they felt like they were hit with their own weapons as their chests caved in as blood emerged from their chest
"Ha! That didn't even tickle!" He taunted. Another tried as well but his attack had the same effect. An arrow was shot at him but it didn't even stick to him as it bounced off of him and went back and hit the one who had fired it
A group of guards attacked the red clad one, who wore a Scorpion on their mask. She moved and dodged, evading their attacks with a sense of flair and grace. It almost looked like she was dancing around them as they missed her.
She then jabbed with her fingers hitting them in the neck and throat area, crippling their windpipes and ability to breathe causing them to clutch at them.
She then spun around, delivering hard roundhouse kicks, cracking ribs and breaking bones as she did as despite her dance like style, her attacks were brutal and without mercy.
"Scorpion Style: Poison Fingers!" She shouted as her hands then glowed purple engulfed with poison making her attacks even more deadlier.
The green clad one who had a Lizard on his darted and leapt from tree to tree, never sticking in one spot. He stood on the side of one and pulling out shuriken that glowed, threw them as he leapt across with nimble agility.
With such deceptive attacks, the ones down below were nothing but fodder as he picked them off.
Chikara looked on horror on his face as he saw his guards and servants killed as he was the only one left. He was too frightened to move or run away at what he saw.
Chikara felt someone behind him just now and he turned around and saw a blue clad figure with the symbol of a Cobra on his mask.
"Did you know that a Cobra's Poison can kill a Human in under an hour?" The Blue clad Demon said to Chikara. "Let's see just how long it would take for my poison to kill a portly human such as yourself." He said and held up two fingers.
He pressed them against Chikara's forehead who shook and trembled in fear. He felt the claws on them scrapping against his flesh and he shook so much that he cut himself on it as The Demon seemed amused at his terror as he let out a sinister laugh as The Daimyo's entire body continued to shake and sweat.
He then suddenly pierced them through his flesh, jabbing his claws directly into his skull and into his brain. Chikara made a gagging sound before his eyes became dilated and he fell over to the side dead having been killed instantly by it.
"The Land of Noodles is now ours!" He proclaimed regarding the corpse no more attention.
"An easy victory, hardly worth the effort." Lizard said in annoyance. "Why, even one of us could have done this by themself."
"Speak for yourself, this fighting made me hungry." Toad replied as he grasped a plate of food and lifting up his mask slightly, indulged himself. "Hey, this is good!"
"I don't recall giving you permission to eat." Byako's voice was heard suddenly making him drop it as it shattered to the ground. Turning, the Five saw Naruto striding forward wearing his Hakama and Shitagi shirt. In his hand he carried a jar.
"We, We did not expect you here Sire." Scorpion said as she hastily bowed her head.
"You did the task I assigned to you effortlessly." He said to the Five who knelled to him.
"As you commanded us Master." Centipede said, the multiple armed Demon looking up at him.
"This will be the first step to my Conquest of the entire Land." Naruto said paying the dead bodies no mind. "With every inch and piece of land I obtain, my army shall grow until they number in the hundreds of thousands." He said to them as he reached inside and began to spread clay across the ground.
He then slammed his palm onto the ground as it glowed purple. "Rise!" He proclaimed as the ground then turned black.
Rising up from the ground, were Jiang Shi and Terracotta Warriors who emerged from it, as he had a new source of land to grow his army. Emerging, they stood at attention ready to serve.
"King Byako; if we may speak up." Cobra said to him. "We have a request for you. The five of us wish to go to The Hidden Leaf Village." He told him.
Naruto turned to face them. "I have already sent Gashadokuro there. There is no point in you going." He told them dismissing the suggestion.
"Please, let us go Master." Scorpion said raising her head "The Leaf is one of the most powerful Villages in the Land. Let us go as well so we can weaken them."
Naruto's face was expressionless as he looked on at them. "I sense an ulterior motive for you wanting to go." He said as they wouldn't have dared to say such a thing unless they had their own personal reasons. "Very well then, as your reward for completing your mission, you have my permission to go."
"Ha! Thank you, oh, Great King!" Lizard said raising his mask covered head up.
"Know that you shall receive no help or aid. If you by some chance die, it'll be because of your own ignorance in going." Naruto told them as he turned back around. "I have personal matters of my own to deal with, go."
The five then leapt and departed disappearing. Naruto paid them no mind as he walked over to the table and spotted a bowl of untouched food.
Reaching out with his hand, he picked up the bowl of Ramen and looked on at it. He could smell the steaming broth as it was still hot and saw the flakes and pieces of shrimp in it. He gripped the chopsticks as he stirred the noodles in the bowl.
He picked up a group of noodles and raised it up from the bowl, bringing it up to his mouth. Slowly he opened his mouth and got ready to put it in and eat it.
Only to push it away as he dropped the bowl and chopsticks, spilling out the food onto the ground. He then walked away as he had more important matters to attend to.
Konoha sometime later...
"Man, today's boring!"
"We heard you a half hour ago Kiba." The bun haired girl said in annoyance.
Several Ninja of Konoha were shown, walking through the empty streets as it was afternoon.
"Aren't there any missions to go on?" Kiba Inuzuka complained. "There's been nothing going on for about a week!" He said as with him was Akamaru.
"I'd gladly go on a mission chasing Tora if I didn't have to listen to you." Ino Yamanaka muttered.
"C'mon guys, with all that's happened in Suna recently, let's be glad nothing crazy is going on." Choji Akimichi said as he was eating a bag of BBQ Chips.
Neji Hyuga ignored them as he the six of them walked around the village. Things had been pretty lax as of late. There was no urgent A Rank missions going on, but despite it many of them had kept up their training.
"I just wish Sakura told me about the mission before she left." Ino said to her. "I could've given her some knockout pollen my family uses." She said as she had gotten back hours after Sakura had left yesterday.
"The mission they are on is important," Neji said to her. "I do wish as well I could've been selected for it."
"Shikamaru's there with them, you know he's got a genius plan already." Choji said throwing his empty bag into a trash can. TenTen nodded her head in agreement
The group continued on when they saw a nearby building that caught Neji's attention
Neji looked on at the apartment building, this was the part of the village where Naruto lived. It was rather worn with a few cracks in the walls but still stood.
He looked on at it, unlike the others of The Konoha 12. Naruto didn't have a warm home and family to go to, he lived by himself.
"Looking at it won't make Naruto pop out of it." Kiba's voice told him. He turned his head and saw him an annoyed look on his face.
Neji frowned and glared at him. "Something you want to say Kiba?" He asked
"Yeah," Kiba remarked. "He's gone guys. He's dead. He's not coming back no matter how much you want him to come back. Get over it already."
"That's enough Kiba." Shino Aburame told him. "There's no call for speaking of him in such a manner. He was our comrade and it's ill to speak of him in such a manner." He scolded him
"Why, it's true." Kiba responded. "All of you knew that Naruto was an idiot who more often than not screwed things up. Besides, all of us nearly died on that mission as well. Don't see anyone weeping over me. It's been three years, move on already." He said with disgust
"Kiba, you shut your mouth right now!" Ino told him narrowing her blue eyes. The others were giving him looks of disapproval as well for his remarks. Naruto may have been a doofus, but he was still a comrade.
"Why? Because I'm saying what no one else will?" He said with a sneer. "He went off on his own without anyone able to help him. He probably would've called it quits and gone back home if Sakura hadn't fluttered her eyelashes at him." Kiba said with a scoff. "She probably promised him a date if he did as she always had him wrapped around her finger."
Ino glared at Kiba and got ready to walk right up to and smack him right across the face for daring to imply such a thing about her Best Friend as TenTen had to get in front of her to stop her.
"Kiba, I can't believe you'd say such things." Choji said to him shaking his head. "Don't tell me you're still bitter you lost to him at The Chunin Exams back when we were Genin."
"I didn't lose! It was a Fluke that's all! I was going to beat him!" Kiba snapped gritting his teeth remembering his less than dignified experience there. "And besides, at least I actually fought! From what I heard and remembered, you got your ass kicked in twenty seconds, tubby!"
"I'M NOT TUBBY! I'M JUST PLEASANTLY STOUT!"
"Quiet!" Neji shouted raising his voice as he spoke up. "All of you be silent!" He said to them as the tension was reaching a boiling point. "Something's not right." He said looking around as he could sense something was off. Something was out of the ordinary here.
"What's wrong?" Shino asked.
Neji frowned his violet eyes narrowing. Everything seemed alright but his ninja intuition was telling him that there was danger nearby. Wordlessly he activated his Byakugan.
"What do you see?" TenTen asked.
"Behind that building, someone's there." He said pointing to it. The others looked on believing him as nothing could evade a Hyuga's eyes.
"Whoever's there show yourself, now!" Neji called out. "There's no use hiding my eyes have spotted you!" He said ordering them to appear. Akamaru was letting out a low growl it's fur on edge.
They each listened and heard a sound, what sounded like.
"Crying?" Ino said in confusion as it sounded like someone was sniffling and tearing up just now. They heard a scrapping sound as something was moving.
To their surprise, a skeletal like hand appeared from out of the corner.
"What in the world?!" TenTen said. "What the heck is that!" She exclaimed at what they were seeing as something emerged from the corner of the building.
Crawling on it's hands and knees with it's head done was one of the strangest things they had ever seen.
This being, this creature, it didn't have any skin or flesh. It was literally nothing but bones! Pale yellow colored bones that was only covered up by a kimono that was grey and covered in blue lines. The only other sign was a few strands of brown hair sticking out from it's skull.
"Don't look at me, Don't hurt me! Please don't hurt me!" The strange being said to them in a timid voice as it had covered up it's face with it's hands. "Why? Why was I sent here? Why did I have to be selected? I'm a weakling, I can't even harm a mouse!" It wailed as it rocked itself on the ground. The sound of its teeth rattling could be heard as it grinded them together.
The Leaf Ninja could only look on at the display. A Skeleton, moving all on it's own.
"Why me? Why me! I don't want to hurt anyone! Why must everyone pick on poor Gashadokuro?" It continued to whine as it was on it's knees with it's hands covering up it's face.
"Ok, this is just creepy." Ino said as she felt ready to throw up just now.
"Please tell me this is one of Konohamaru's pranks and it's just him dressed up as that." Choji said as he was feeling queasy as well.
The creature then suddenly lowered it's hands that covered up it's face, revealing a pair of red eyes in it's skull. The red eyes suddenly flashed brightly.
"Ah! What the?!"
Ino suddenly felt something on her skin, something crawling onto her flesh. She looked on at her arms and her eyes widened as horror filled them.
"What the?!" Ino shouted in terror as she saw hundreds of tiny spiders crawling on her! Spiders that moved all across her. "G-Get off! Get them off me!" She screamed as she felt them in her hair and crawling on her body. She threw her arms and tried to bat them off but to no avail as they continued to swarm all over her covering her entire body as she continued to scream loudly.
Shino felt a sharp piercing pain in his side and saw several spears stabbing and sticking into him. He tried to open his mouth to speak but only blood came out as he was stabbed over and over, stabbing him all over his body as blood continued to ooze out of him.
Choji looked at his hands and saw that his flesh had disappeared, leaving only rotting bones in it's wake. He began to panic and scream as he looked and saw that the rest of his body's flesh was gone as well as his entire skeleton was exposed!
TenTen found herself underwater, as she was submerged and drowning it felt like. She flayed and tried to swim upward to the surface but found herself unable to move as it felt like her legs were being weighed down by an anchor. Fear appeared on her face as she felt her air being cut off as her lungs were burning as she was going to die soon unless something happened.
Kiba tried to move but saw that he couldn't move his body, he was buried up to his neck in the ground with only his head sticking out of it. He tried to move but wasn't able to as rats appeared and began climbing on top of his head, clawing and gnawing at him with him unable to do anything.
Neji found himself on fire, and despite his efforts could not put out the flames that spread all over his body. He felt his body being burned alive as his whole body was shown on fire as smoke entered his lungs as he coughed and hacked as his eyes were stinging.
They were all seen screaming and reacting in terror, as they had each been affected by a Mental Jutsu.
Gashadokuro dropped it's facade as an evil look appeared on it's face as they had fallen into his trap believing him to be helpless. Anyone who looks into his eyes would be trapped in an Genjutsu where terrors would befall them. Already he had found some solitary villagers and disposed of them. Pulling itself up to it's full height it then lunged forward.
"Now you die!" He exclaimed as he was ready to grab Choji with his skeletal hands by the head and snap his neck
"Leaf Hurricane!"
A green blur appeared and Gashadokuro was kicked multiple times in his ribs and chest. He was knocked backward and he hit the ground.
"What trickery is this?" A voice exclaimed and standing on the ground having arrived in the nick of time was Rock Lee. He had heard the others' screaming nearby and investigated and discovered what was happening. "Stand up, you fiend! And face and witness The full might of Konoha's Youthful Beast!" He shouted taking a stance.
Gashadokuro's head detached from his body and then floated up in the air, shrieking all the while as he fled as the rest of his body disappeared. "Come back here!" Lee shouted leaping up into the air but was out of reach unable to grab it as it levitated higher and then disappeared over the buildings.
Lee landed on the ground and saw the others. "Are you all alright?" He asked checking on them as it seemed that they were no longer under the effects of The Genjutsu. They breathed and panted hard as they got back their bearings.
"Yeah...Yeah, I think so." Neji said as he clutched his chest as his heart was throbbing. Ino was checking and looking herself all over making sure that there wasn't any spiders on her person.
"What was that thing?" TenTen asked as it had vanished as there was no trace of Gashadokuro now. "Where did it come from?"
"Eeehhhh, that was scary!" Choji said in a frightened tone looking at his body fearful that it would turn back to bones. The rest were nervous as well at what had just happened and what they experienced
"Let's find it, we gotta capture it. We can't let it affect anymore people." Neji said and the others reluctantly agreed. "It's a Genjutsu user, we must avoid eye contact with it so be careful and don't fall for any of it's fake tears."
They started to go when they heard a noise, the sound of evil laughter from above.
The group looked up and their eyes widened at what they saw.
Standing above on the roof of a building above them were five masked beings. Each that had the symbol of an animal on them
"Well, well. We found you!" The one clad in red said. "I didn't think it'd be this easy!"
"Oh great, now what?" Ino grumbled as she looked on ahead. "First creepy skeletons and now you whatever you guys are!"
"We are the ones responsible for your Death!" The blue clad one announced and all five leapt down to the ground
The white clad one charged forward and began to throw punches, moving at fast and rapid speeds that were impossible to see where they was coming from, he delivered punches to all of them
"My turn!" The Green Lizard Mask shouted as he held up several glowing shuriken in his hands and threw them, they exploded as the force of it knocked them off their feet.
The group of ceramic mask wearing figures laughed at the Leaf Nins. "How pathetic, I'd thought you've gotten stronger these three years during our downfall, how unimpressive." The one in the middle stated to them.
Neji clutched his arm as he narrowed his brow. "Stronger? Wait, there's something familiar about you all." He said as he looked on. An image appeared in his mind of what had happened, in a battle that had nearly took his life.
"Yeah, like we've faced these guys before." Kiba said as he pulled himself up off the ground.
"Let's remind you of who you are facing!"
Cracks began to form on their masks before shattering revealing their features, faces and traits that were demonic in appearance but also familiar to Neji, Choji and the others. Of foes they had faced long ago.
"What the?!"
"No way!"
"It's them!"
The Konoha Ninjas could only look on in shock at what they saw in front of them. Standing before them were foes who despite now looking different they could never forget the battles they had with them.
"A Thousand Blows in Ten Seconds! Kidomaru!" The first with multiple limbs shouted as a Centipede was shown behind him.
"Skin, Stronger than Steel! Jirobo!" The largest of the group declared as a Toad symbolized him.
"Princess of The Toxic Sting, Tayuya!" The redhead and sole female of the group announced as a Scorpion towered over her.
"The deceitful and treacherous killer, Sakon!" The fourth stated as a Lizard emerged from behind.
"Fangs, full of Poison, Kimimaro!" The Leader of The Five proclaimed as a Monstrous Cobra represented him. "The Sound Five is no more; due to King Byako, we are back from the dead, stronger for our revenge!"
"We are The Venom Five!" The group declared
Neji, Lee and the others looked as this was like a nightmare, they had nearly been killed before three years ago and now they were going to face them again but now even stronger and more dangerous than they were before.
"Get them!" Kimimaro shouted and they charged at the Leaf.
As that happened, The Leaf Team that had left had made it to the destination.
They were unaware of what was going on in Konoha just now, of what was happening. Even if they did, there was nothing that they could do.
Sakura and her team went on, having made it to The Land of Grass. There was still time before the appointed meeting with the spy they would meet tomorrow. Time to formulate a plan and put it into effect as there was no room for error.
She dashed on as she followed after Captain Yamato. On her right was Shikamaru, she was glad he was on this mission with her. She knew that he could trust him and he was already at work for a strategy to ensure that this mission succeeded.
On her left was Sai, who she didn't trust. She felt uneasy about him with his false emotions, he was hiding something
Unknown to any of them, there was another being in The Land of Grass. Having arrived there with his own motivation for being there.
Naruto was shown looking on as he stood on a tree. A low growl escaped his throat as he had come here for his own reasons. To be rid of a potential nuisance for his plans.
His armor then appeared over his body, fully covering it except for his head as he carried his helmet under his arm.
He then brought it up and strapped it onto his head as he leapt from the tree, going deeper into the thick foilage.
When he would leave this place, he would be doing so with the Head of a Snake, so to decorate above his Throne.
