Tony's POV

'Now then, Since you understand us now WHO are you and HOW did you get here?'

Grandma is pissed.

I mean i would have been as well if I had to travel to a whole another country just because a weird half dead kid just poped up in a bright flash of light in the middle of the forest near my house. And not only that but also only woke up in the middle of the night while your grandkids who are supposed to be sleeping are in that strangers room arguing. Then it also comes out that said stranger doesnt know any of the common or local languages.

The kid was short, looked around 14 or 15 had golden hair and eyes which added on to his suspension. He looked eastern European, maybe German but he didn't understand german so I dropped that idea.

He looked somewhat shocked or fascinated with his sudden ability to understand languages, I mean I would have been as well. But instead of answering to grandma's question with his new found ability he stubbornly stayed silent with an expression as if he was having an inner debate on whether he should trust us or not. The latter won and now there was a very confident aura of silence in the room.

'Hey I know that grandma's are usually seen as gentle old ladies who bake cookies and read stories to their grandkids but trust me this one doesn't quite fit the stereotype and might break a couple of bones if you don't behave so if i were you I would answer her question' I said in an attempt to break the silence.

But instead of getting a response out of the kid I got a smack on the head from grandma.

Chris chuckled.

'Just leave him, I mean he has no idea where he is nor who we are so he must be quite confused. Let's give him time to adapt and maybe he'll tell us who he is, I mean he doesn't seem like a threat, more likely coming from his injuries he is more suspicious of us.' Chris as always didn't seem to be bothered with the situation at hand.

'Fine, but if something happens he's your responsibility Chris. I'll be returning to saint Petersburg now since he woke up and isn't a threat. If anything call me.'

'Got it' Chris responded in her usual relaxed manner.

'Oh and Antony take care of your sister while I'm not here' She left in a pop without even letting me to answer.

Turning around I saw the kids horrified expression. Right, he definitely doesn't know about magic. 'Dont worry, that's magic it's normal here, you probably never heard of it tho since it is hidden from public.' I explained in an attempt to relax him. It didn't do the trick.

'We'll be leaving now but if you need something or are ready to talk then come find me in the fifth room to the left from here. If you aren't but just want to explore feel free to wander the right corridor. And if you need to use the toilet then there's on in this room.' Chris explained nonchalantly. 'Let's go Tony, it's pretty late now.' She grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the room, closing the door behind us with her other hand.

And so we left to our separate rooms leaving the new kid alone to think over if he is to trust us or not.
