Soaring above the city and high above the clouds that so callously denied sights to the starry night sky, the Man-Bat's massive ears twitched precisely trying to home in on the explosions, its wings cutting through the clouds. Effortlessly barreling through the night sky, its domain vast as an ocean of untold potential and experimentation for the beast, the Man-Bats' ears twitched, hearing another explosion beneath the cloud banks it changed trajectory following the sounds of danger abandoning its territory.
A hole was punctured through the clouds as the Man-Bat dive bombed powerfully yet silently, the creature perched itself high up on a building to survey the land so it may better search for its new prey. Combing through the blinding lights of the city looking for the disturbance, the beast set its eyes on flames that burned wildly and ferociously like a pack of wolves cutting into the flesh of a bear. Its mouth was watering for an opportunity to strike through the air and the chance to sink its teeth into some flesh and drink the blood from its victims.
Spreading its wings once more the creature prepared to take flight once more, it dropped off the side of the building elegantly like a trained acrobat plummeting downwards before swooping up in an arc like a pendulum. All Might ran through the city with the boy's torn bag in hand searching for the explosion before he ended up hurting himself or someone, his breathing heavy and slow, unable to activate his muscle form to get to the area quickly without wearing out more of his time limit.
A painful knot formed in the hero's stomach while running, he winced in pain as he covered his stomach with his arm trying to hold his organs in as if they were about to fall out. His mouth quickly expelled blood as he coughed, each one spraying a dark brick-red liquid on the pavement below him, 'Dammit I'll never be able to catch up with the kid like this!' The skeletal blonde thought, cursing at himself for being so weak. Two teens quickly bumped shoulders with the man as they ran past, talking about the fire that was going on at MGRI and not wanting to miss it, All Might eavesdropped on the teens gathering as much information as possible to figure out if that's where the Man-Bat would be going.
He quickly followed after them his feet aching to the point where he was certain they would explode in his shoes leaving him to bleed out. Making his way his vision was cut off by a horde of people watching the pro heroes fight off a villain but keeping their distance and being overly cautious, all All Might oils saw was the burning MGRI building but not a Man-Bat in sight. Standing up on something nearby to get a better look at the fight, he felt his heart drop as he saw the sludge villain had been released and was now suffocating a boy with blonde hair with his slime.
Many of the Pros couldn't even get close to the villain without hurting the boy or getting hurt themselves, "Is this the best you heroes got?" The Villain taunted loudly, his eyes were bloodshot with a crazed gleam, using his slime to control the kid he unleashed a devastating explosion against the heroes. The boy screamed in pain and anger muffled by the sludge that filled his mouth. He watched as the tall and muscular Death Arms struggled to even get near the villain, the kids' explosions keeping the pro at bay.
The explosions spread fire everywhere, as Kamui Woods attempted to save any civilians stuck in the crossfire of the battle, sweat dripping out of his costume, swinging from building to building picking up citizens and trying to avoid the flames. "This is insane!" Kamui said with a heavy sigh, his breathing slow and deep taking in each breath as though it was his last. Sweat trickled down his face soaking his mask and imparting his vision temporarily, swiping it away he noticed more civilians trapped in a burning building. He extended his wooden arms to a building nearby and swung around and out of the corner of his eye he saw a large brown body dive bomb through the roof of the MGRI building.
"What was that?" The Wooden hero said with a tired and perplexed tone, stopping in his tracks and inspecting the hole in the roof, wiping sweat away from his brow before hearing a high-pitched feminine scream from the building below. A woman found herself stuck under a burning support beam, the fire slowly climbing up her building and approaching Kamui's wooden tendrils. Rushing towards the burning building was a man wearing a costume resembling a firefighter uniform and helmet, with a single orange glowing eye on a white mask, with hands resembling high-pressure hoses. He aimed his hands at the fire, shooting out powerful streams of water and slowing the fire down enough for Kamui Woods to grab the woman, "Backdraft, I think I saw someone dive bomb into MGRI. Can you check it out?" The Wooden hero asked with a sense of urgency.
The hero looked back with a feeling of guilt deep within his body as he explained to the Kamui that he couldn't, as there were too many people that were in trouble and the Sludge Villain was keeping a ton of heroes away from the building. With a look of frustration, Kamui looked at the building annoyance bubbling in his eyes, unable to perform his duty, but as he looked around he realised how dire the situation was. Seeing the searing flames swarm buildings, the smell of smoke accompanied by the sound of screams permeated the air around him, pros struggling to get everything underhand.
The towering Mount Lady was seen standing on the sidelines unable to help her massive form proving to be a detriment to the situation as she needed two lanes to use her quirk to fit in between the buildings. Watching from the sidelines All Might felt powerless and inadequate standing around his heart sinking into the depths of his chest never to come back out. Seeing the fire burn brighter with each passing second the hero felt his whole body run cold with a shiver thinking about the boy, a feeling of guilt and regret clouded his mind in a long-running line of moments and memories so similar to this one that burnt deep inside his mind.
"FRANCINE!" Kirk shouted, blood dripping from his chin as he limped around the burning facilities, the fire spread out quickly engulfing large portions of the lab and destroying millions of dollars worth of research and equipment. Everything burning to ashes right in front of his eyes, his passion, and his dreams being torn away from him. Parts of the building began to collapse making it difficult for Kirk to traverse, "DOCTOR MARCH, where are you?" Kirk screamed from the top of his lungs looking for anyone left in the building. Suddenly a large figure dashed through the roof of the building, "Oh thank god, a hero!" As Kirk began to fall into a state of ease approaching the figure.
Kirk placed a hand on the figure abusing it to turn around at lightning speed, Kirk was horrified to find Izuku in his Man-Bat state after administering a genetic blocker to him hours ago, "Izuku, you should've been human for 12 hours what happened?" The beast sniffed Kirk, its snout dripping with leftover blood mixed with saliva that dribbled onto Kirk's lab coat. With a low guttural growl, the beast sprinted away the claws on its wings leaving scratches on the weakened floor like footsteps in the sands of a vast desert.
Running past debris the Man-Bat carefully moved burning wood and stone out of the way with its snout, feminine groaning sounds could be heard under a pile of rubble drawing the attention of the Man-Bat. Carefully moving more debris the familiar face of Francine lay under the rubble, her wrist broken and bleeding profusely as bone jutted out slightly. A small river of blood ran out of Francine's broken wrist and down the floor patiently making its way to the feet of the Man-Bat.
Kirk ran over to the computer and PCR machine, sticking a USB drive in the computer and shifting all of the data on Izuku's condition onto that drive while he worked on a stronger genetic blocker. The time was counting down Kirk's fate as he attempted to keep the computer on while he completed the file transfer and a stronger genetic blocker. Kirk knew that at any moment the building could come crashing down on him, his survival instincts telling him to get out but he refused to budge.
The safety and well-being of Izuku took over, refusing to leave until the machine was done, his heart beating in his chest faster than a cheetah galloping after prey. The completion percentage windows on the screen sometimes moved slower than a turtle while sometimes it rocketed to high percentages as fast as a bullet train. His patience wore thin as the last few seconds of the bars reached 99% and 96% before the screen froze. Kirk grunted in frustration by now the blood on his chin was indistinguishable from his flaming red face if it weren't for the subtle dripping that seemed to release blood slowly.
Steam seemed to pour off of his face when he started grinding his teeth, scraping against each other, "Come on you stupid machine, work damn it." Kirk cussed at the machine audibly the PCR machine whirred to life quickly as the windows reached 100% and closed themselves down. Grabbing the serum out of the PCR machine Kirk quickly loaded it into a syringe gun before quickly running off with what little strength he had to find Izuku, the soles of his feet ached with a stabbing pain of a thousand little needles digging deep into his skin. Flames blistered around him, beads of sweat forming on his forehead that drenched his eyes in a never-ending stream, the fire burned brighter and hotter every second as if he was being cooked in a giant oven.
Despite the immense and unbearable pain, Kirk ran through the fire and the flames, carrying on for Francine, and Izuku, his will burning brighter than the fires around him. Kirk's fear ever so present began to melt away under the pressure of failing Izuku, he couldn't let him down, his heart beating and his mind began to think of what would happen if he failed his student. Every part of his body yelling at him to cease his futile attempts to sprint from one part of the building to the next, he continued his trek, each step stinging with the pain of a thousand lacerations across his body.
Adrenaline coursed through every vein in Kirk's body giving him the necessary speed and strength to overcome the fire that spewed across the room, his spirit never wavering or faltering. His eyes were bloodshot, covered in a million red rivers snaking their way to his irises, the world blurring into darkness, Kirk clutched his sides as a sharp pain began ringing out like knives to his muscles and bones that briefly receded only to be infested by the feeling of snakes wriggling and writhing into his body.
Running through the rooms the floors began to give way under Kirk's feet sending marble and stone crumbling down leaving gaping holes leading to rising flames below ready to roast Kirk's skin to a crisp. He stumbled across the floor tripping and nearly falling into a hole that opened up beneath him like the mouth of a shark ready to swallow an entire seal whole, as he dangled dangerously close to the fires, his grip loosening and lubricating with his sweat. Attempting to grab onto the wood with his other hand it crumbled before him falling to the fires below.
The palm of Kirk's hand began collecting splinters that dug deep into his skin causing quick respites of pain, trying to pull himself up he heard an audible crack from his shoulder causing him to deliver a groan out of frustration and pain. Flames raged beneath his feet ready to roast his skin like a marshmallow, he felt his insides melt under the pressure while the last bit of wood was about to snap, Kirk's eyes widened in shock and horror as he felt his body tilt slightly. His hand lost its grip and just as he was about to be dropped into the fire to certain doom.
Falling through and almost into the fires below Kirk felt the collar of his shirt grabbed as a warm and wet liquid dribbled down the back of his neck, as he turned his head slowly behind him, he was greeted by the pupil-less yellow eyes with thousands of veins pulsating across them. Looking at the beast his frame became diminutive as he struggled against his student's iron jaws and metal teeth, holding Francine by the collar of her lab coat, gripping the blocker serum in one hand he knew he'd have to get Izuku to take but that would be an impossible task as he dangled over the fire.
Suddenly everything became a blur to Kirk who struggled to stay awake, The Man-Bat held onto Kirk's collar with its talons that almost tore through the fabric. In a quick moment, the beast lifted Kirk and swung him up with all its might onto its back before Kirk closed his eyes the beast began to run as fast as it could and with all his might Kirk grabbed on tight to the beast's fur. Running through the burning building, The Man-Bat carried the Langstroms through the numerous domino lines of explosions happening throughout the building, shielding them as much as possible from the flames that swarmed around them.
Kirk was at a loss for words as The Man-Bat smashed through walls sending clay and mortar flying past, it seemed as though Izuku had an internal influence on the personality and actions of his Man-Bat form. Seemingly the Man-Bat knew where to go and which walls to break for the best escape route, Kirk was flabbergasted and terrified as the beast put his and Francine's safety over its own, opting to use its wings to shield her whenever it ran into a wall protecting the two as much as possible, like a true hero.
Kirk climbed up to The Man-Bats ear and began to whisper, "Izuku, are you in there?" He questioned only for The Man-Bat to ignore him, "Izuku it's me, Kirk, I don't know if you can hear me but I need something, a sign or anything to tell me it's you who's in control." Kirk hushed in a desperate and melancholic tone, biting his lip anxiously. Suddenly they came to a pass of the floor that had fallen apart leaving few platforms to traverse safely, it was practically suicide to even jump across to a platform as one wrong step or they'd be cast off into the fiery pits below.
Just beyond the flames rested the fire exit nestled between the flames of the room, Kirk's eyes radiated pure terror as The Man-Bat looked at him its eyes carrying a dark malevolent idea as it grinned at the scientist, "Izuku, if you can hear me please don't let The Man-Bat do what I think it's abou-!" Before Kirk could finish his sentence The Man-Bat quickly tossed Kirk across the room, his body going limp as he was thrown against the door. His back began radiating stinging pain that spread from his spine and to his toes, but there was no time to register everything that was going on as the next thing he knew was he was rammed through the door splintering it into a million pieces.
Looking up at the sky smoke and grey clouds filled every corner leaving no respite for the stars above, just as Kirk regained his bearings The Man-Bat stood behind him giving off a menacing aura still holding Francine by the collar of her lab coat. The Man-Bat handled Francine carefully, lowering her closer to Kirk, again he was at a loss for words as glimmers of Izuku pierced through the darkness of the beast. The beast locked eyes with Kirk that bore deep into the very edge of his soul and mind, the solid yellow eyes only broken up by the red veins fluctuating with each beating second.
Its eyes were filled with an animalistic bloodlust and a predatory gleam that illuminated a dark area of Izuku's soul as if he was thirsting, starving even for an outlet to let out his rage, to take out his vengeance on someone, but through the darkness Kirk spotted a glow in the beast. He could see a glimmer of misery, regret and sorrow within the recesses of his mind, a cry for help echoing loudly only to be met with absolute silence, he witnessed his student's rage that had been bubbling for ages finally come to a boiling point that overflowed him. "Oh, Izuku," Kirk said, looking at The Man-Bat with an expression of understanding and guilt overcoming his body.
The pavement Kirk was situated on was cold, heavily contrasting against the warm vibrant flames that danced around the building encasing it in a meadow of ash and destruction. Running his palms on the ground the rough granite bumps irritated his skin, and his body trembled with a glacial sweat that only grew with each increasing heartbeat, Kirk's body was paralysed with terror and his mouth was left agape like a giant sinkhole. The world became dim, his energy fading, the beast turned around and recognising an opportune moment Kirk reached into his pocket his grasp tightened around the syringe gun.
Screams and explosions drew the attention of The Man-Bat, its ears twitching rapidly, eyes darting around its skull with curiosity and a sudden burst of glee as it let out a guttural chuckle from its stomach. Marching away from the Langstroms, Kirk stood up, his legs trembling and his arms feeling numb and weak, he felt his whole world spin around him, and dizziness overcame his senses while trying to rush The Man-Bat only finding himself stumbling over his own feet like an infant. Falling hard on the ground Kirk refused to give up his spirit burning brighter than the flames around him, "What are you doing Kirk Izuku needs your help you can't just lay here lollygagging!" He spoke under a whispered breath, blood dripping from his chin, he wouldn't accept failing Izuku.
Kirk rushed back to his feet landing on the back of The Man-Bat sending it into a wild frenzy as it squealed and tossed around trying to buck Kirk off, the scientist flailed around holding onto the furry back of The Man-Bat. Blood trickled from his chin and all around the alleyway, he felt his life flash before his eyes as The Man-Bat rammed him into walls but his grip only tightened on the fire of the beast causing it to yelp in pain. Kirk groaned in pain as he felt his body rammed against the bricks just when he thought he was going to be done for his ears were graced with the sound of Francine's voice yelling out, "Izuku stop it! This isn't you!" She yelled out at The Man-Bat before jumping up to its head putting it in a choke hold causing it to slow down enough for Kirk to stab the blocker into the beast's back and pull the trigger, the beast yelped in pain.
The Man-Bat let out a sudden burst of human-like screams as its muscles and skin constricted and withdrew back into the body in a matter of minutes, fur shed off its body quickly falling to the ground clumping together in mounds. A waterfall of blood gushed from its mouth as teeth wriggled and writhed in the mouth of the beast before slowly dropping to the ground one by one like coins rattling on a store counter spinning perfectly in place before dropping flat. The snout became deformed, it bent and twisted in unnatural ways like it was being shovelled back into its face as if someone was trying to crush a can of soda with the palm of their hands.
The back began splitting up and rippling open like an ocean wave, shoulder bones protruded from the skin before being squeezed back into place, and the fire cracked and cackled in the background deafened by the hounding wails of The Man-Bat as its feet struggled to support the weight of the body. The soles of the feet curled and unfurled rapidly, and snapping and popping sounds could be heard throughout the dismal alleyway, wings withdrew and vanished back into folds of skin, legs shrinking and bending in ways that seemed to defy the very laws of nature itself.
Veins began bulging all over The Man-Bat's body as if thousands of little rocks had found themselves lodged in between his blood cells and they're now coursing through the entirety of the beastly body and are now attempting to tear through his skin. Muscles tore and reformed in a matter of seconds. Still, for The Man-Bat, it felt like years of agony and torture causing it to scream out in pain until its voice went completely hoarse, and the ears became more rounded as though they were being sanded at lightning speed. When the dust had settled, Izuku finally stood trembling in place of The Man-Bat which had plagued the surroundings just moments before.
Kirk and Francine stepped out of the alleyway carrying Izuku with his arms around each of their shoulders holding him up like crutches, Kirk had taken off his lab coat and wrapped it around Izuku revealing a light grey shirt underneath stained with drops of dry blood. Izuku's eyes looked vacant and deathly the lively and glowing gleam Kirk came to expect was nowhere to be found as Izuku stared at the ground while his feet dragged along the asphalt like a marionette being dangled from the air. Izuku's mouth was left slightly agape as if in a constant state of shock and apprehension with blood still left over his cheeks.
Drool seeped through his teeth and onto his red cracked lips staining Kirk's lab coat. Izuku appeared as lifeless as a doll or a mannequin, a plastic shell that appears human but is the furthest thing from a human closer to a shade or a lamp. The only things setting those apart from Izuku were his subtle breathing like the soft rustling of leaves in the billowing winds, the steady yet heavy beating of his heart within his chest and an uncontrollable shiver in his skin that shook against the Langstrom's body and dug deep into the core of their very beings.
Stepping out of the shadows and into the light, they were suddenly knocked back into the shadows by an explosive burst of yellow and orange light singeing their clothes and sending them barreling across the asphalt hard and rough scratching their skin and creating a few more open wounds. A demonic laugh bellowed through the air barely masking the tormented screams of the suffocating Katsuki Bakugou, whose eyes tore through Kirk's very soul with a feral rage when he met the boy's gaze, the boy screamed for somebody to help him but not in a desperate tone but more of an enraged and entitled tone.
Kirk felt a sharp pain in his ribcage, clutching his stomach he felt a warm wet lump near his chest pulling his hand closer to his face to inspect he realised the palm of his hand was covered in a layer of blood. Surveying the alleyway as his eyes began growing heavy he could see Francine struggling to get up her arms weak and wobbling before collapsing sending her face hitting against the rough floor with a sickening thud. Laying upon the cold asphalt Kirk gazed upon the stars as the crackling fire echoed through the alleyway the only thoughts running through his head were him failing Izuku and Francine, unable to protect them and feeling a deep sense of shame knowing he failed.
His world began going dark as more of the starry night sky vanished before him in an instant, the world slowed down to a snail's crawl each second became a tortuous millennia for him. The air waved around him sending chills running through his entire body as goosebumps began to form on the skin of his arm, he could feel each bump rising along his skin. Kirk's breathing began to slow down as each gasp of air was growing closer and closer to becoming his very last breath. Stray beams of moonlight lit up the alleyway shining a spotlight on Francine carrying Izuku on her back like a backpack.
The pale moonlight reflected off Izuku's pupils and onto Francine's cheek which was now palish grey, her back hunched over as she walked towards Kirk's unconscious body, she began to carry Kirk's body with absolute diligence so as not to let Izuku fall off her back. The sound of Kirk's shoes quietly scraped across the hard floors creating a scratching sound, her hand stung with an incredible sense of pain sending a feeling of agony throughout her body, one so strong enough it jolted Izuku awake. He began gasping as though he just escaped from an underwater labyrinth with only seconds of air left in his lungs when he arose from the depths in time.
"IZUKU!" She shouted out worry flooding her voice, Izuku dropped to the ground shaking and gasping for air, "Breathe Izuku, breathe!" She instructed the young boy as she grabbed his hands to calm him down. The green-haired boy lay his back on the ground, his eyes darting from side to side, he felt immense pain in his neck as though the muscle fibres were transformed into metal leaving him unable to move it freely. He groaned in pain, his body motionless, his breathing heavy and shaky, the cold wind brushed against his face and his eyes began adjusting to the light and became watery to offset the incredible dryness of a desert in them.
"Francine!" Izuku said, coughing up his lungs, he attempted to turn his head to look around his neck, still incredibly sore but he continued to do so in an attempt to make out his surroundings, "What happened?" He questioned Francine with an exhausted voice and a splitting headache. Izuku sat up his eyes looking down at Francine's hand and noticed that a bone was protruding out of the skin, immediately he screamed and began jumping to conclusions with the amounting evidence around him, "Ms Langstrom your hand I-it's broken, oh no did I turn into the Man-Bat again, I-I didn't mean to hurt you!"
Tears streamed down Izuku's face as he stood before Francine trembling uncontrollably, Francine went in hugging Izuku tightly catching him off guard, "Shh it's ok Izuku it wasn't your fault." She ushered to Izuku to calm his nerves, Francine explained everything that had happened so far to Izuku leaving the boy feeling guilty and completely inadequate for not being there for the Langstroms. Just as Izuku began to ball his eyes out, disaster struck, another explosion pounded the alleyway sending devastation through its way.
Francine was knocked back away from Izuku with an incredible force like she was a mere paperweight while Izuku tumbled and rolled akin to a miscellaneous barrel down a hill when he finally came to a stop he found his eyes glued to the floor his body refusing him to move away, his neck stiffened and he felt his entire body paralysed in fear. As Izuku tried his hardest to get up he was met with constricting muscles and skin that seemed to stop him in every way, a cold shiver ran up his spine hearing muffled screams of anger and pain.
When Izuku managed to rotate his head towards the source of the distress he was met with a ghastly sight. Bakugo encased in the body of the Sludge Villain that moments ago was doing the same to Izuku, but on a much grander scale as the Sludge Villain was piloting Bakugo's body forcing him to use his quirk to fend off heroes. Sparks flew out from the palm of Bakugo's hands like devastating fireworks causing heroes to keep their distance, and it wasn't too long before Izuku could hear the heroes refusing to intervene, fear and worry evident in their voices.
"RUN IZUKU!" Francine shouted out weakly from beneath a pile of rubble. But nothing got through to Izuku he remained motionless, he was as still as a statue, gazing upon the destruction around him his mentors incapacitated and heavily injured, his old friend suffering an unimaginable hell, heroes incapable of stopping the villain. Izuku gritted his teeth as he slowly pushed himself up off the ground, every muscle in his frame tensed and twisted at light speed, his body moving before his mind had time to think, "Izuku?" Francine questioned in a worrisome tone as she watched Izuku stand up.
Determination and spirit were overflowing Izuku's body as Francine watched him start sprinting towards the Sludge Villain going from Zero to a hundred in the blink of an eye before picking up a rock from the ground. "IZUKU NO!" Francine detested Izuku's uncharacteristically impetuous nature, but her words fell on deaf ears. Izuku had already gone far out of hearing range and even if he could it would be pointless as his body was moving faster than he could think. 'What am I doing? Why did I run out?' Izuku pondered as he rapidly approached the sludge villain, "Someone stop that kid!" A Pro hero in the back shouted watching Izuku run.
The green-haired boy jumped into action from the alleyway directly confronting the Sludge Villain head-on, sprinting at full force before throwing the rock towards the villain, landing straight in one of his eyes causing him to recoil in pain. Closing the distance from the villain and himself in a single bound Izuku started clawing away at the sludge with the violent speed of a demon, Bakugo looked at Izuku with wide-eyed confusion and disbelief. Bakugo was witnessing the impossible but refused to believe it. Izuku Midoriya, the kid he had always bullied calling him a Deku, was doing what the Pros couldn't.
While the Villain was still disoriented Izuku managed to scrape out a bunch of sludge from his mouth, "Why are you here?" Bakugo said interrogating Izuku in a tired and irritated voice. Izuku's eyes watered relentlessly as he tried to force a smile on his face, "I dunno… My legs just started… Moving!" He said in a wobbly and uncertain voice. "I couldn't just watch you die!" Izuku added on as flashes of memories of people telling him he can't be a hero flashed through his mind at a rapid pace, in that moment every doubt and name he's been called evaporated.
Standing from afar All Might in his shrivelled and weakened form, his sunken eyes surveying the landscape his body cast a long shadow on the crowd of people akin to a crane among a marsh overflowing with cattails, or like a scarecrow standing tall amongst the corn that casts a long shadow over the fields with the clothes flapping with the wind. A feeling of inadequacy, a pang of confusion and a slight feeling of admiration rushed through the hero's veins watching the quirkless boy from earlier do what he should've done from the start.
"I really am pathetic!" All Might muttered under his breath before gasping 'All Might. But… I told you the traits that make a great champion…' Those words echoed throughout his mind reminding him why he became a hero in the first place. 'But I see now I wasn't living up to my own ideals. Pro's are always risking their lives. That's the true test of being a hero!' All Might conjured up the last bit of strength and his muscles began to fill out his clothes and bulge out, steam pouring off his body as they did so.
Izuku failed to scope out Bakugo in time before the Sludge Villain regained his bearings, "Nice try kid, but you're no hero." The villain proclaimed in a deranged and menacing tone while raising the palm of Bakugo's hand to his face. Izuku braced for the pain and the deafening explosion, closing his eyes as he waited for his face to be Stuckey by a huge bang. A Gust of wind rushed past him and the explosion was nowhere to be found, opening his eyes, Izuku saw All Might's massive frame right in front of him blocking the explosion.
All Might raised his fist as he screamed out, "DETROIT SMASH!" The fist connected with the face of the sludge villain creating a powerful whirlwind that pushed everyone back except himself, as pieces of the villain started flying off in droves. The whirlwind picked up power and intensity creating a mini tornado that grew higher and higher until it finally reached the sky, dispersing clouds all over and revealing the starry night sky up above. Bakugo was freed from the Sludge Villains grasp and Midoriya was left gobsmacked.
The crowd of people looked on in awe and wonder as they saw the beautiful night sky before them, stars never seemed to shine as brightly before this moment, "Don't tell me all that wind just now was..." A shocked bystander said. "The clouds! They're moving!" Another shouted. "He changed the weather with a single punch." Death Arms regarded in awestruck. As the crowds of people began cheering on All Might Izuku was not so lucky as the Pro Heroes reprimanded him harshly. Out of the corner of Izuku's eye, he saw Kirk and Francine wheeled into an ambulance on stretchers.
He attempted to get away from the heroes. Still, they held onto his arm tightly as they continued to reprimand him for not only endangering himself but for disregarding the law and taking it into his own hands. Bakugo on the other hand, was comforted and praised by other Pro's wanting to know if he'd join their agencies when he's older but he ignored them, his attention focusing on Izuku, his gaze hardening at the sight of him. His mind seethed and foamed at the thought of a Deku trying to save him believing that he'd looked down upon both by Izuku and the world.
