Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, Darcy, Jiren, & The Crystal Gems! I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter. Also, before we begin, I would like to say that the OC Darcy Quartz Kane belongs to both me and JokerGames1999, the OC Jiren, Vlad, and Cobalt belongs entirely to 9655, and the OC Julius belongs entirely to drakin6345...anyway, we don't own anything except for our OCs.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
"Epic Candy Party! Whoo-hoo!" Finn cheered loudly as we see the Gang currently having a dance party in the Candy Kingdom, and Finn and Darcy can be dancing with each other while laughing as Jake was dancing by himself and used his stretchy powers to wiggle his limbs around as Jiren can be seen leaning against a wall with his arms crossed as he had a small smile on her face. "Guys, this party is so crazy!"
"He, he, he, yeah, it is." Darcy says while discreetly staring at all of the Candy People around her with starry eyes and drool coming out of her mouth as the Candy People sweated nervously and laughed awkwardly as they shuffled away from her.
"So, Finn, Darcy, are you two dating yet?" A Gumdrop Lass asked curiously as her friend giggled amusedly.
"Oh, my gosh! I can't believe you just said that!" Gumdrop Lass 2 says with a smile as Finn and Darcy flinched a bit in surprise as they turned to glance at each other and blushed heavily as the Lovebirds laughed shyly.
"What a wonderful, marvelous party!" Punch Bowl says with a laugh while dancing around as he accidentally spilled his juice.
"Okay. I'm gonna do it. Okay-okay-okay." A living Cinnamon Bun says to himself in determination as he took deep breaths. The Living Candy Person is really a 5'8-feet-tall, 30-year-old Living Cinnamon Bun with small black eyes, thin crooked eyebrows, a misshapen mouth filled with crooked white teeth and a small pink tongue, long brown four-fingered arms, a wrinkly brown dough-like skin with a white frosting front, and long brown toeless feet as he wore no shoes. His name is Cinnamon Bun, a very dim-witted and clumsy Candy Civilian in the Candy Kingdom.
"Everyone watch! I'm gonna do a flip!" Cinnamon Bun yelled with a laugh, getting everyone's attention as he tried to do a backflip, but needed up stumbling backwards and hits his head on a nearby tower wall, cracking it as the crack streaks upward toward the balcony from where Princess Bubblegum can be seen dancing around with a warm smile on her face, but then yelped in surprise and fear as the tower crumbles and the Princess of the Candy Kingdom began falling down through the air.
"Princess Bubblegum is in trouble!" Finn, Darcy, and Jiren screamed in unison in surprise and worry as the Trio then shared a determined look and nodded as they ran forward.
"Jiren! Darcy!" Finn shouted sternly as the Duo nodded, and Jiren lowered his arms as he fired dual big streams of fire that propelled himself forward while Darcy reached into her glowing pink gem and summoned her Magic Staff as she extended it and twirled it around for a bit before swinging forward as the Human/Gem Hybrid summoned a Magic Portal in front of her and a grunting Finn was quick to jump through it as another Magic Portal appeared beside a screaming Princess Bubblegum and a glaring Finn flew out of it as he grabbed her just as they started reaching down into the ground as, thankfully, Jiren landed below them and held out his arms as he fired dual gusts of wind that collided against the Duo's body and slowed down their fall immensely as Finn and Bonnie slowly floated down to land on the ground as a Magic Portal appeared beside them and Darcy flew out of it as she landed on the ground.
"Is everyone okay?" Darcy asked worriedly as Bonnie and the Boys nodded just as the Candy Citizens ran over to check on the group as they were all trembling in concern and fear...and they weren't exploding. Funny isn't it, huh?
"Please! Calm yourselves, my people. I am safe!" Bonnie yelled to her Candy Citizens, who perked up and cheered loudly as Princess BB then turned to our Faithful Heroes and gave them a grateful smile. "Oh, thank you, guys. You truly are my heroes today."
"Cool."
"You're welcome, BB."
"No prob, bob." Finn, Darcy, and Jiren said in unison as Bonnie nodded but then paused a bit as she hummed in thought.
"Heroes...hmmm...Heeeeerroooos...hey, I just thought of something!"
"Thought of what?" Darcy asked curiously while twirling around her Magic Staff as she shrinks it down and shoves it back into her glowing pink gem as Bubblegum and Finn stood up from the floor.
"I'll show you, guys. Come on. We'll go through my secret entrance." Bubblegum says while walking forward with a curious Darcy and the boys following after her as the Princess of the Candy Kingdom then turned towards her Candy Citizens. "Alright, everyone. Turn around." Bonnie requested as the Candy People and Jake stare blankly at her. "Well, turn around. This entrance is secret." Bubblegum whispered with a wink as Jake and the Candy People made 'Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh' noises in understanding while turning around as Bonnie then walked over to press a rather odd-shaped brick on a wall, causing it to glow yellow brightly as the whole brick wall opened up. "Come on, hurry, guys."
"Ha, ha, ha, No way!"
"Sweet!"
"Yay! Secret mysterious entrance!" Finn, Jiren, and Darcy yelled in unison excitedly as the Trio then ran over to make their way through the hole with Bonnie following after them as the bricked wall closed up.
"Here it is. Check it out, kids." Princess Bubblegum says with a grin as we fast forward in time, and we see the Trio standing behind Bonnie, who was pulling out a yellow globe from a treasure chest placed inside of a small dungeon.
"A magical globe?" Finn asked curiously as Bonnie shakes her head.
"No, Finn. It's what you can see through the globe." Princess Bubblegum says with a wink while holding up the magical globe as it showed the image of the Enchiridion.
"Whoa, what the heck is that book? It looks badass." Darcy says with starry eyes as Bonnie giggled a bit.
"It is. It's called the Enchiridion. It's a book meant only for Heroes whose hearts are righteous." Bonnie says as the Trio looked shocked and amazed by this new piece of information.
"Interesting, but I bet since this is a book for heroes, it will be dangerous and difficult to get it." Jiren commented as Bubblegum nodded.
"Yes, indeed, the book lies at the top of Mount Cragdor, guarded by a manly Minotaur. It's waiting for a couple of truly righteous heroes to go and claim it."
"Whoa, do you think that we have the right to get it?" A worried Darcy asked as Finn grinned and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"Of course, we have the right to get the Enchiridion, Darcy! We are the most righteous Heroes in Ooo!"
"Well, he's not wrong." Jiren says with an amused grin as Finn nodded before turning to Bubblegum.
"Yo, Bubblegum, do you think we've got the goods?"
"Yes, I do."
"Then off we go!" Finn suddenly screamed while reaching down to suddenly grabbed a squealing Darcy in a bridal position, forcing her to wrap her arms around his neck with a small blush on her face as Darcy suddenly screamed in surprise when Finn ran over to jump out of the high tower window. "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Finn shouted into the heavens while holding onto Darcy tightly as a startled Jake heard his Little Brother's yell and glanced up to see his best buds falling down through the air as the Magical Dog acted quickly and got down on all fours and stretched himself up to catch the Lovebirds. "Thanks, pal-Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Finn says before yelping in pain as an enraged Darcy shapeshifted her arms to grow bigger and began smashing them down onto Finn's head repeatedly.
"DON'T! EVER! DO! THAT! AGAIN! YOU! STUPID! RECKLESS! FUCKING! IDIOT!" A white fiery-eyed Darcy yelled while having a big chibi head that was spewing out hot pink fire as she continued hitting a bruised and yelping Finn.
"Well, that was close." A relieved Jiren says while shaking his head as he and Bonnie can be seen poking their heads out of the window as the Elemental Wielding Hero then crawled out of the window and propelled himself forward with a small burst of hot flames as he flew over to land onto Jake's back, right behind the Lovebirds as Darcy finally calmed down enough to stop hitting Finn after Jake told her that he could get brain damage...well, more than usual.
"Farewell, Fi-Oh, wait a minute..." Princess Bubblegum trails off as she reaches down into her belt and pulls out a handkerchief as Bonnie began waving it. "Farewell, Finn the Human Boy, Darcy Quartz Kane, and Jiren the Elemental Hero!"
"Ugh...bye, Princess!" A heavily bruised Finn says with a moan while waving goodbye as he then perked up and glanced down at the Magic Dog. "Hey, you know what time it is, buddy?"
"Aaaaadventure time?"
"Yeah, man!" An excited Finn yelled while sharing a fistbump with his Adoptive Brother as the Gang was about to leave, but stopped as Bonnie suddenly spoke up.
"Oh, and when you reach the mountain from where the Enchiridion is, keep an eye out for a Guide that I will send you to help you guys out on your journey!"
"Okay, Princess!" Darcy screamed as the Boys nodded before Jake began making his way out of the Candy Kingdom as the Gang began explaining to him what the heck is going on.

We cue to a post-apocalyptic wasteland that features a rat inside of what seems to be a large broken Gem Spaceship and several undetonated nuclear bombs nearby as the camera then pans over to a snow-covered biome, and we see a group of Penguins hugging and kissing each other with a tiny red hearts floating above their heads as they make a few quick wenking sounds and a Snow Golem could be seen sitting on a grassy hill nearby as the rest of the Ice Kingdom appears, including the Ice King as he was floating in the air near his Ice Castle and spins around to face the readers while activating his ice Powers with his hands as Crystal popped out of the window of the Ice Castle while holding onto Gunther as they waved at the readers with a wink.
The camera then appears at the Candy Kingdom as we see a large crowd of Candy People laughing and dancing in the middle of the road as the camera quickly scales up Princess Bubblegum's Castle, eventually passing the clouds to where we can see Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, High King Julius, and High Queen Chewypaste riding around on the back of Lady Rainicorn as Bonnie smiles warmly and waves lightly while Marcy shapeshifts her face to resemble that of a monster and hissed loudly as Julius held out his sword with a determined smirk on his face as Chewy kissed his cheek and waved at the readers cheerfully. Appearing on a huge hot ass dessert, we see a cowboy-dressed stoic Ruby riding around on a Skinny Gaint Chicken as she tipped her hat at the readers before the camera teleports over to the Crystal Gems Temple, which was located deep within a Forest near an Oasis as Sapphire and Spinella could be seen riding around on Hestia as the One-Eyed Gem waved politely while the Pink-Haired Gem stretched out her limbs with a goofy smile on her face.
Teleporting to a dark cave placed inside of a giant scary-looking mountain, we could see a grinning Amethyst relaxing on her bed as an annoyed Pearl was trying to scold her for being so lazy, but to no at vail as the Purple-Skinned Gem winked at the readers playfully while sticking out her tongue as the Ivory-Skinned Gem groans in exasperation but flashed the audience a calm smile. Cueing over at the Gang's Treehouse, we see a two-headed duck quacking along before zooming into the house, and we see our faithful heroes residing in their living room as Finn, Jake, Darcy, and Jiren sharing a fist bump with big grins on their faces as BMO and Neptr smiled in the background.

We're going to protect various distant lands
Devastation and mayhem could be seen across various lands of Ooo as many villainous figures like the Lich, the Gem Empire, and other Evil Monsters could be seen wreaking havoc against innocent civilians, who were trying to run away from them and head to safety, but failed miserably as the Super Villains honed in on them and were about to kill them, only for a nearby Warp Pad to glow brightly as the Crystal Gems appeared into the scene and glared over at their Supervillain Foes as a glaring Darcy summonsed her Shield and Magic Staff and got into a threatening battle stance, a serious-looking Finn pulled out his sword and swipes the air a bit, a growling Jake grew up to gigantic size, Jiren lifted up his arms and set them ablaze with hot fire, Ruby and Sapphire fused into Garnet and summonsed her gauntlets, Pear summonsed her spear and aimed it at the Villains with a determined glare, Crystal twirled around a bit and summonsed her fans as she covered them in frost, Spinella summonsed her war hammer and stretched out her limbs as she bounced around lightly, and a glaring Julius pulled out his magic sword as it lit up with blue fire.
And if you think we can't,
We'll always find a way!
Glaring down at the Super Villains, the Crystal Gems then ran forwards to confront them with the majority of the members being ahead of Finn and Darcy, who shared a knowing look as they nodded and held hands as the Teenagers then gained determined looks and were able to run past their friends as the Duo Adventurers then leaped up into the air and held out their respective weapons as a glaring Darcy and Finn proceeds to slash/whack the Lich across his face as the others joined in on the fight and leaped over to fight their respective Villains as an epic battle occurred.

After defeating their foes and saving everybody from destruction, the Crystal Gems decided to head back to their Base to celebrate and have a big party with each other as Jake drops down onto all fours, and the gang was quick to climb up the Giant Dog as he then took off at high speeds with everyone laughing joyfully by this as they zoomed past various people like Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, High Queen Chewypaste, Ice King, BMO, Neptr, Lady Raincorn, Phoebe, Hestia, and Huntress Wizard as they all watched them go in surprise before beaming excitedly as they all eagerly followed after the group.
The fun will never end
'Cause, it's Adventure Time!
After reuniting at the Crystal Gems Temple, we see everyone enjoying their little victory by throwing a big dance party with each other as they all mingled with their friends and laughed as we cue to the top of the temple and see our Faithful Heroes having a little part of their own as Jake, Julius, and Jiren shared a high five with a cocky grin while a blushing Finn and Darcy held hands as they leaned over to share a quick kiss before raising their fists up in victory as the title of the story appeared in front of the readers.

An hour later, we see our Faithful Heroes walking through the grassy terrains of Ooo as they then arrived at Mount Cragdor, which was a humongous mountain that was surrounded by a big forest as the whole place was protected by a small stone wall and a large moat filled with crocodiles as there was a big wooden bridge that leads to the entrance of Mount Cragdor, but Darcy and the others were more interested in the Gem standing near the bridge patiently with a smile on his face.
Standing before them was a 6'5-feet-tall, 8,600-year-old Gem Cobalt with a single left black eye as his right eye was replaced with a Dark Blue Gem, short spikey light blueish-white hair, no ears, a small nose, a sharp chin, Light Blue Skin, a tall slim build, and his outfit consists of a long-sleeved black robe that reaches down to his feet with a dark gray hood/collar, fingerless dark gray gloves, a dark gray belt, and a pair of dark gray boots. His name is Cobalt, one of Princess Bubblegum's Royal Knights.
"Hey, Darcy, do you know who he is?" Finn whispered to Darcy as we see the group walking on their feet as Jake could be seen walking around on two legs in his normal form.
"Uh, no, why would I? Just because I am a Gem, it doesn't mean that I know who all Gems are. What? Do you think all Gems know each other, you racist prick?" Darcy asked with a furious glare as Finn flinched worriedly and raised his hands panickedly.
"N-N-No, I didn't mean-,"
"Ha, ha, nah, I'm just yanking your chain, man. Calm down." Darcy says with a smile and a laugh as Finn pouted while the others laughed as they walked up to Cobalt, who beamed as he bowed to them.
"Greetings, I'm Cobalt. Princess Bubblegum told me that you would arrive here. I'm here to help guide you through Mount Cragdor."
"Cool, dude. I'm Jiren, and these are my Brothers, Finn, and Jake." Jiren says while introducing himself and his brothers as Darcy waves with a beaming smile.
"And I'm Darcy Quartz Kane. It's always nice to meet a fellow Gem."
"Likewise, Miss Kane. There's not many of us around anymore." Cobalt says somberly.
"Hey, have you happen to know who the Crystal Gems are?" Darcy asked curiously as Cobalt nodded.
"Yes, I used to be a part of it, but let's talk about that another time and focus on our mission, yeah?" Cobalt suggested as the Group nodded and walked through the wooden bridge as they arrived at the entrance of Mount Cragdor and spotted what seems to be the Gate Keeper standing in front of him as he was a 3-feet-tall, 45-year-old Male Object Person with black dots, a bald head, no ears, visible slits for nostrils, a small mouth with missing teeth, chubby cheeks, three-fingered slim small arms, Yellow Skin, a short and tubby build, two-toed slim small legs, and his outfit consists of a blue-gray hemispherical hat adorned with a large key in the shape of a backwards 'F' as it has a blue-gray strap with a brown buckle, a key-shaped silver necklace on a chain, and a long-sleeved baby-blue robe. His name is Key-Per, the Gate Keeper to the entrance of Mount Cragdor.
"Greetings, Young Heroes to be. This mountain is called Mount Cragdor. Its purpose is two-fold: To protect the Enchiridion and to test the hearts of those who seek to possess it. Many noble challengers have entered the temple to pass the grueling trials that lie behind these walls, but no one has ever left here alive or dead! Only the truest, most Worthy Heroes can receive the Heroes' Enchiridion and walk out these doors again! If it is you, friends, and I cannot say that I am certain, but you are verily welcome to try; However, first, you must pass my riddle. My name is Key-per, and duly so, for I carry the key to this door, but all is not how it appears, you see. Or perhaps you do not see at all. Perhaps the key is in you, children, but you cannot use your brawn here. The door is magically sealed." Key-Per says in a very fast tone as the Gang ignored what he said and Finn and Darcy merely walked over to grab Key-Per as they lifted him up into the air and shove his head into the key-hole on the giant doors as the Lovebirds turned him before taking him out as the doors opened up. "Oh, ho! You've unlocked the riddle of the door! Brilliantly done, children! Please, reveal to me how you unraveled my clue!"
"Easy, your name is Key-Per, you have a key for a necklace, and your hat is in the shape of a giant key that seemed to match the size of the lock. Seems pretty straight forward, if I do say so myself, right, Finn?" A smug Darcy says to Finn, who looked away nervously and coughed awkwardly.
"Errr...yeah..." Finn says, not wanting to reveal to Darcy that he did that because he thought Key-Per will look cute stuffed in that lock.
"Oh, yes. That's how most people get in." Key-Per says as the Gang nodded and, after Darcy and Finn placed Key-Per back on the ground, they turned around to walk into Mount Cragdor as Key-Per watched them go with a grave and serious glare on his face. "You've passed the first trial, young heroes, but prepare yourselves! For there are many trials ahead of you, and each trial is more treacherous than the last!"
"Well, that doesn't sound fucking ominous." Darcy says sarcastically while rolling her eyes a bit as Cobalt turned to give her a stern look.
"I warn you that you should heed the Key-Per's warning seriously. Trust me, I've been here enough times to know how dangerous this place is." Cobalt says as Darcy sighs heavily but nodded as Jake suddenly dropped down into the ground and started sniffing the ground.
"Alright, Enchiridion is...that way!" Jake screamed while pointing ahead as everyone gave him shocked looks.
"What?! Dude! You can't smell the book from here!" A disbelieving Finn yelled with a laugh.
"Especially a book that you never have ever seen in person!" An exasperated Darcy exclaimed while placing her hands on her head as Jake crossed his arms with a smug grin.
"I'm a Dog, Finn. Dog's senses are way higher than Humans and seemingly Gems. Oh, and how I can find the Enchiridion even when I never saw it until now, you ask, Darcy? Easy, since the Enchiridion is the only book in Mount Cragdor, it just makes it much easier to track it down. Do you know how much an old book smells?"
"Ooh, great thinking, Jake!" Jiren complimented with a smirk and a thumbs up as Jake nodded while sniffing a bit.
"Thanks. Anyway, the Enchiridion is in the castle on top of the mountain. In a room. Wish you had one, huh?" Jake asked with a laugh while tapping his nose, but then the Gang flinched in surprise as they heard someone yelling for help in the background.
"Quick, this way!" Finn screamed determinedly as he and the others started running towards the source of the noise.
"What about the book?"
"It can wait, Jake! Someone needs our help!" Darcy yelled with a glare while summoning her spiked pink bubble to burst through an incoming brambles as the Group finally arrived at where the source of the screams seemed to be originating and gasped in shock as they all spotted Multi-Colored Five Winged Gnomes trapped inside a large lava pit that was set on fire.
Not wasting any time, Darcy summoned her Magic Staff by reaching into her glowing pink gem and pulled out her weapon as she then snapped her fingers and summoned a small pink bubble as a grunting Darcy proceeds to whack the bubble forward and it flew over to collide against a Gnomes #1, 2 and 3, trapping them together inside as she then snapped her fingers and Gnomes #1, 2, and 3 were teleported out of sight as a glaring Jiren raised his arms and began absorbing the fire from out of the lava pit, allowing Finn to ran over and grabbed Gnomes #4 and 5 as he landed on the ground.
"We got you." Finn says with a reassuring smile while walking back over to the others as a grinning Darcy snapped her fingers, and the bubble containing Gnomes #1, 2, and 3 were warped back into existence as it popped, and the Gnomes started floating around as their comrades joined them after Finn lets go of them.
"Are you guys okay?" Darcy asked worriedly as the Gnomes smiled and nodded.
"Yes, thank you for saving us, Heroes...now we can destroy this old lady!" Gnome #1 says with a menacing tone as he and the others flew over to an Old Lady who was tied to a stake as she was humming to herself amusedly.
"What?!" Darcy and the others asked in shock as, before they could react, the Gnonmes proceeds to zap the Old lady to death with their magic.
"Every time you guys say 'What?!' we'll destroy an old lady."
"What?!" Darcy and the others asked in surprise as the Gnomes proceed to zap another random Old Lady to death with their magic.
"Every time you say 'No!' we'll destroy an old lady."
"No!" Darcy and the others screamed panickedly as the Gnomes then zapped three more Old Ladies.
"Please..."
ZAP!
"Don't destroy..."
ZAP!
"Anymore..."
ZAP!
"...Old women..."
"Hey, guys. Every time he's a big wuss, let's destroy an old lady." Gnome #1 says to his buddies with a mocking off as a distressed Finn gripped his head tightly and turned around to run away as Darcy and the others watched him go sympathetically before whirling around to glare at the Gnomes.
"Hey! Back off, you gnomes! These Kids just saved you guys! You should thank them, not destroy Old Ladies!" Jake screamed with a glare while placing his hands on his hips. "Do you even know what I'm talking about? Say, thank you! Say... Thank... You..."
"Kill them!" All of the Gnomes screamed in unison as they all tried to zap the Gang to death with their Magic, but Darcy reacted quickly by summoning her Magic Shield as she expanded it and placed it in front of the Group, protecting them from the blasts of green magical energy as they all glared at the Gnomes venomously.
"This is for my brother, fuck you and die!" Jiren screamed angrily while raising his arms as he fired a big stream of intense flames that washed over Gnomes #1 and 2's bodies, burning them alive as Jake used his Shapeshifting Powers to stretch himself forward and twist around to grab Gnomes #2 and 3's bodies as he proceeds to slam them down into the ground, hard enough that their bones were shattered into billion pieces as Cobalt ran over to Gnome #5 and swiftly summoned his dual spears as he then slashed the Gnome's chest, causing him to bleed as he screamed in pain.
"Suffocate in space, you piece of a shits." Darcy says with a serious glare while raising her hand as she swung her arm around and the Human/Gem Female Hybrid was able to trap all of the Gnomes in multiple small pink bubbles as Darcy then snapped her fingers and was able to warp them all to space as the pink-haired pre-teen then snapped her fingers again and allowed the bubbles to pop as all of the Gnomes began slowly suffocating to death while freezing a lot.
"Come on, let's go and check on your friend." Cobalt says to the others, who nodded as they turned around and ran after Finn as they were able to keep up with the Human Boy, who was sitting on a large rock placed near the river as Darcy and the others walked over to sit down next to him.
"Hey, Finn. Are you okay?" Darcy asked as a tearful Finn turned to glare at her.
"No, I'm not, Darcy. You saw what happened. Those old ladies are destroyed because of us. We're not righteous. We're wrongteous. Stupidteous." Finn says with a pout while reaching over to grab a rock as he tossed it into the river, and it skipped along the lake as Darcy reached over to hug Finn and kissed his cheek to comfort him as he blushed at this in shock.
"Awww, don't worry, Finn. Those Old Ladies aren't real anyway."
"Wait, what?!" A shocked Finn asked as Jake nodded.
"Yeah, man, don't let those Gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions."
"Illusions?" A bewildered Finn asked as Jiren nodded.
"Yeah, dude. I mean, think about it. What would regular, old, sweet ladies be doing wandering the hills of Mount Cragdor?" Jiren asked as Finn thought about it before shrugging as Darcy giggled and elbowed him.
"Don't you get it, Finn? This place is designed to mess us up. To mess with our heads, but none of this is real. Right, Cobalt?" Darcy asked her Fellow Gem as Cobalt nodded with a laugh.
"Yep, your friends are right, Finn. These are all just trials to test your heroic attributes."
"Huh...yeah, yeah! That makes sense!" A smiling Finn says while standing up from the rock as Darcy and the others did the same.
"Yeah, so now let's go get that book." Jake says as Finn nodded with a laugh.
"Thanks for the pep talk, guys. I wouldn't know what I do without you guys." Finn says as Darcy and the others beamed and nodded as the Gang all walked forward.
"Alright, so we are a bit far away from the castle, but don't worry, I know a shortcut that will take us to-," Cobalt says before he and the others yelped in surprise as a random giant showed up out of nowhere and bends down to swallow a yelping Jake into his mouth as he swallowed him whole. The Giant is really a 60-foot-tall, 50-year-old Male Ogre with black eyes, a bald head with tufts of blonde hair, small ears, a large stumpy nose, a small mouth with crooked teeth, a fat double chin, long fat four-fingered arms as a deer seemed to be tied to his arm with the help of some rope, Dull Orange-Colored Skin, a colossal fat humanoid build, long fat hairy four-toed feet, and his outfit consists of tattered tight-fitting jeans with cows and pigs strapped to them as he wore no shirt/shoes. His name is Ogre, the second trial for the Enchiridion.
"Jake? Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!" A shocked Finn, Darcy, Jiren, and Cobalt exclaimed as they then glared up at Ogre.
"YOU THREE CANNOT PASS!"
"HEY! GIVE US BACK OUR FRIEND!" Finn demanded with a sharp tone as the Ogre shakes his head stubbornly.
"NO!" Ogre screamed before yelping in surprise as Jake was able to pop out of his left nostril.
"IT'S OKAY, GUYS! I CAN GET OUT-OOF!" Jake says before squealing a bit as Ogre shoves his finger into his left nostril and pushed Jake back inside as the Gang shared a look and nodded as Cobalt took a couple of steps back and watched curiously as Finn ran over to appear behind the Ogre while a glaring Darcy ran forward as she then jumped up high into the air with her Super Strength as the Human/Gem Hybrid summoned her spiked bubble and collided directly against the Ogre's crotch, causing him to squeal in pain and agony as he doubled over and Jiren used the chance to stomp his foot into the ground as he then thrusted his arms upwards and created a giant pillar of earth that collided against the Ogre's chin sends him flying upwards as he whirled around and crashed face-first down into the ground.
"UGH OW!" The Ogre groaned in pain as an airborne Darcy popped her spiked bubble and landed beside Jiren as they glared up at the Ogre, who started getting up from the floor as he whirled around to glare at them, but then gasped in shock when he noticed that Finn was missing. "HEY, WAIT, WEREN'T THERE THREE OF YOU?! WHERE DID THE THIRD ONE GO!?"
"I GOT YOUR WALLET, MAN!" Finn screamed while being able to climb up to the Ogre's butt as he pulled out his giant wallet and yanked out a giant dollar as Finn grabs the opposite edges of the dollar and begins glides away on it like a hang-glider.
"NO! MY BIG MONEY! GIVE IT BACK!" An enraged Ogre screamed while charging after Finn, who flew away as he glared at him.
"NOT UNTIL YOU GIVE ME BACK MY FRIEND!"
"BUT I KILLED HIM ALREADY!" The Ogre protested childishly as Finn teared up but then shakes his head as he glared over at the Ogre.
"FINE! DO YOU WANT YOUR PRECIOUS DOLLAR? HERE'S YOUR DOLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Finn screamed while gliding back towards the Ogre as he does a flying kick into his stomach, which caused a groaning Ogre's stomach to rumble as he proceeds to retch, and a yelping Jake comes out of it as a beaming Finn glided over to grab him with his legs. "Jake! You're okay!"
"He, he, yeah! Stomachs are weird!" Jake says with a laugh as Finn laughed as well and uses the giant dollar to glide over to the entrance of the stone temple near the top of the mountain as the Duo perked up, and Darcy's Pink Gem glowed brightly as she swiftly shapeshifted herself into a 15-feet-tall falcon and allowed Jiren and Cobalt to board her as the Human/Gem Hybrid then took off into the air and flew over to land near the Boys.
"Nice work, guys! You not only defeated the Ogre, but you guys flew us all the way to the top!" A beaming Jake says as the others grinned and cheered with Jiren and Cobalt getting off Darcy's body as she shapeshifted herself back into her Human Form. "Wait a minute. I can smell the book right through this door." Jake says while perking up as he started smelling something and then pointed over at a nearby door as Darcy and the others beamed as they nodded and were about to leave but stopped as the Group heard the Ogre crying in the distance and turned to him.
"YOU'RE UNDER ARREST FOR STEALING MY DOLLAR!" The Ogre screamed angrily before sobbing again as Jiren and Cobalt gave him deadpanned glares while Jake shakes his head as Finn and Darcy, however, shared annoyed yet sympathetic looks and sighed heavily as they nodded.
"Ugh, alright, here you go, you big baby." Darcy says while rolling her eyes as she and Finn folded up the giant dollar into a paper airplane as the Lovebirds then launched it towards the Ogre, who gasped in shock and catches it as he laughs happily.
"Hey, guys, you know what that was? That was righteous." Jake complimented as Finn and Darcy smiled widely.
"Thanks, Jake." Finn says as Jiren crossed his arms with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Heh, while it was righteous, I would've kept the dollar."
"Same. Anyway, Jake? Go ahead and sniff out the Enchiridion for us." Cobalt says as Jake nodded and began sniffing out for the Enchiridion as the Group walked into the castle and arrived in a long hallway with arms holding knives sticking out from the pillars as before the Gang could go and explore the area, black smoke appeared in the hallway and a Mysterious Figure could be seen appearing onto the scene.
The Mysterious Figure is a 5'8-feet-tall, 35-year-old Male Skeletal Wizard as he resembled a scythe-less reaper with glowing red eyes and sharp teeth as the rest of his face was obscured by his gray hood which was attached to his tattered gray cloak that reaches down to his feet as it was coated with a green mossy substance, and had gangling arms with pale bony hands. His name is the Dark Magician, the third and last trial to obtain the Enchiridion.
"Congratulations, Finn the Human Boy, Darcy Quartz Kane, and Jiren the Elemental Hero. You three must be truly righteous to have made it this far."
"Thank you." Finn complimented as Darcy narrowed her eyes and got into a battle pose as Jiren wondered how in the hell he knew what their names were.
"Now, enter my brain world, and I will show you three some aspects of yourselves that you Kids are not entirely aware of!" The Dark Magician exclaimed as he extended his arms, and black fog appeared as it whirled around Darcy, Finn, and Jiren's bodies, much to their shock as, before they could react, the Trio were suddenly teleported over to a gray misty area.
"Whoa, where are we?" A weirded-out Darcy asked before she and the others flinched in surprise as the Dark Magician's disembodied voice rang out.
"For your final trial, slay the beasts!" The Dark Magician screamed as three Heart Beasts appeared and flailed around as they were all basically living giant hearts with a glowing skeleton arm.
"Why? Are they evil beasts?" Finn asked curiously.
"Yeeeeessss. They're completely evil. Will you slay them?"
"Hell yeah, dude. Heroes kill evil dudes all of the time. Lets do this, boys." Darcy says to the Boys with a grin while summoning her Magic Shield as Finn and Jiren nod as the Trio then charged forward to attack the Heart Beasts.
"Take this, you freak!" Darcy screamed with a glare while running forward as she began using her Super Speed to zigzag around to avoid multiple purple lightning blasts that were thrown at her by Heart Beast #1 and the African-American Alien Hybrid reached into her glowing pink gem as she pulled out her Magic Staff and summoned her Magic Shield as Darcy then jumped up into the air and held up her Magic Shield as she expanded it and sharpened the edges as the Human/Teenage Alien Hybrid then tossed her Magic Shield forward and it flew over to slice the Heart Beast #1 in half as Darcy then twirled around in mid-air and extended her Magic Staff as she proceeds to whack away the dead Heart Beast #1 away.
"Die, you evil beast!" Finn shouted while pulling out his Scarlett Sword as he twirled it around and began swinging his weapon around to block all of the purple lightning blasts from Heart Beast #2 as the Human Boy then jumped up high into the air and lets out a loud battle cry as he then sliced Heart Beast #2 in half, killing it as the two sliced dead halves of the Heart Beast crashed down into the ground.
"Taste my lightning!" Jiren exclaimed while raising his arms as he was able to easily absorb the purple lightning that was thrown at him by Heart Beast #3 and then shoots it back at the Evil Creature, causing it to blow up into billion pieces as Jiren and the others were shocked by this. "Well, that was…anticlimactic."
"Yeah, I thought they would be tough to beat like that Ogre Guy." Darcy says with a shrug while dissipating her Magic Shield as she then hid her Magic Staff back inside of her glowing pink gem.
"Did we do good, Skeleton Robed Guy?" Finn asked curiously while putting away his sword.
"Yeeeeessss! You've all done well, heroes! Now, as one last, last trial...slay these ants!" Dark Magician yelled while summoning three normal ants as the Trio was shocked and confused by this.
"Are they evil?" Jiren asked with a raised eyebrow as he and the others inspected the ants.
"No! But they're not good either! They're, uh, neutral! Will you slay them?!"
"Hell no!" Darcy screamed with a glare as she and the others didn't seem to be uncomfortable killing neutral ants.
"If you want the Heroes' Enchiridion, then slay this unaligned ants!"
"NEVER! NEVER! NEVER!" Finn, Darcy, and Jiren screamed in unison in anger and fury as the Trio was suddenly warped back into the real world as the gray smog dissipated.
"Uh oh." The Dark Magician says with a nervous gulp as Finn and Jiren ran over to kick him in the crotch, causing him to squeal in pain and agony as his cloak falls down into the ground and red mis pours out as the Boys panted heavily and the Gang suddenly flinched in surprise as the doors were opened and Key-Per can be seen walking into the hallway while wearing a devil-like pajamas.
"Congratulations, Finn the human, Darcy Quartz Kane, and Jiren the Elemental Hero. Now you have truly reached-,"
"NEVER!" Darcy screamed with a fierce glare while raising her arm as her pink gem glowed brightly and proceeded to use her Shapeshifting Powers to stretch her arm over to collide against Key-Per's stomach, causing him to scream in pain and barf out blood as he crashed down into the ground and the Group now realized that he wasn't another trial and went over to him worriedly. "Oh, shit, I'm sorry, dude. I didn't mean to hit you."
"But we have to know, why are you wearing that little devil costume?" Finn asked with a raised eyebrow as a groaning Key-Per rubbed his bruised stomach with a pout.
"These are my pajamas. I was getting ready for bed."
"And why does it look like a devil costume?" Jiren asked incredulously, but then the Group flinched in surprise as a Humanoid Minotaur ran into the room with a hearty laugh.
The Mysterious Monster is really an 8-feet-tall, 150-year-old Male Minotaur with black eyes, white horns that curve inward planted on his head, orange ears with pink insides, a large pink bull-like nose with a large-gauge septal silver piercing, a large mouth with sharp white teeth, a pair of large muscular four-fingered arms, Dark Orange Skin with Pale Orange Fur, a tall heavily muscular slim build, a long dark orange tail with a light orange furry tip, a pair of dark orange slim hooves, and his outfit consists of a pair of silver cuffs and a large silver belt with a light orange furry pelt with a large silver sword attached to it. His name is Mannish Man, the Guardian of the Enchiridion.
"Finn...Darcy...Jiren...Jake...Cobalt...you made it!" An excited Mannish Man yelled as the Group, sans Cobalt, stared at him warily.
"Are you another trial?" Finn asked nervously as Mannish Man looked a bit confused before perking up as he laughed amusedly.
"Ha, ha, ha! Trial? Oh, no! I'm Mannish Man, the Minotaur!"
"Oh! You are the manly Minotaur from Princess Bubblegum's story!" Jiren yelled in realization as Mannish Man merely laughed and flexed his muscles as he somehow grew other arms that flexed as well.
"Ugh, gross, can you please show us the Enchiridion already." A disgusted Darcy says while sticking out her tongue as Mannish Man nodded with a big grin on his face.
"He, he, sure, come on! Let's go check it out! Woohoo!" Mannish Man shouted while turning around to run away as Darcy and the boys chased after him as they all arrived at a large picnic table and went over to sit on it as Mannish Man smiled down at the Young Heroes proudly. "We've been watching you guys on our magical viewing globe. Now, have some juice. There's grape and apple and the gatekeeper made spaghetti." Mannish Man says while pointing over at Key-Per, who was making some spaghetti in a bowl, as Darcy then winced and gave him a worried look.
"Uh, wait, I have to ask, were those Gnomes friends of yours?"
"Hmmm? Oh, yeah, don't worry about killing those Gnomes. They were evil to their core, using their Magic to create illusions and manipulate incoming heroes into believing that they are killing sweet old ladies just to torment them. They are sick little fucks. We were planning to kick them out anyway, so thanks for killing them." Mannish Man says as Darcy and the boys sighed in relief and nod. "Anyway, are you, kids waiting for this?" Mannish Man asked with an excited smile on his face as he pulls out the Enchiridion while making a small explosion noise with his mouth as the Trio gasped at this in shock.
"The Enchiridion!" Darcy, Finn, and Jiren screamed with wide stunned eyes as Mannish Man nodded with a chuckle and handed the book over to them.
"You Kids deserve it."
"Really?!"
"Yeah, I mean, you three are the goodest of heart and most righteous heroes I've seen here! Tenderness, ingenuity, bravery, nard-kicking ability! Finn, when you took that giant Ogre's dollar and Darcy, when you summoned your Spiked Bubble Form and collided against that Ogre's crotch, and Jiren when you knocked back that Ogre, ha, ha, ha! Oh, man! The Key-Per nearly fainted!"
"It's true!" Key-Per yelled as he and Mannish Man shared a laugh as Finn, Darcy, and Jiren beamed proudly as a grinning Jake turned to them.
"Hey! Crack open that book and read something for fun's sake, alright?" Jake says as the Trio nodded and Finn grabbed the Enchiridion as he opened it up, and Finn, Darcy, and Jiren were shocked to see the title of what seems to be the Fifth Chapter.
"Whoa! How to Kiss Princesses?!" A shocked Finn, Darcy, and Jiren exclaimed in unison while closing the Enchiridion as a shocked Jake turned to them.
"Whoa. What'd you just read?"
"Yeah, what does it say, Guys?" Princess Bubblegum says while appearing on the viewing globe as she then turned to glare at Mannish Man with an angry pout. "Mannish Man won't tell me."
"Hey, don't tell her, guys." Mannish Man whispered to the others, who grinned slyly and nodded as Bonnie heard what he said and turned to glare at the Guardian of Enchiridion.
"MANNISH MAN!"
"Hey, so, Finn? Are you gonna study Chapter 5 to be able to learn how to kiss Darcy like a princess? And are you also gonna be treating her like a princess when you guys start dating?" Jiren asked Finn teasingly as he blushed heavily and covered his face with the Enchiridion with a loud groan as Darcy was able to hear what he said and looked away with a shy blush on her face as she smiled lightly.
