Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, Darcy, Jiren, & The Crystal Gems! I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter. Also, before we begin, I would like to say that the OC Darcy Quartz Kane belongs to both me and JokerGames1999, the OCs Jiren, Vlad, Cobalt, and Dutch belong entirely to 9655, and the OC Julius belongs entirely to drakin6345...anyway, we don't own anything except for our OCs.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
"Swords! Yeah, swords!" The gang cheered as it was a beautiful day in Ooo and we see Darcy and the boys having out near Tree Trunks's Home and playing a game of, 'Swords and Apples' as Finn was cutting an apple with his Scarlet Sword while Darcy used one of Finn's spare swords to slash apart an apple as Jake shapeshifted his left arm into a sword and sliced an apple in half as a smirking Jiren created an ice sword and shredded an apple into pieces as Tree Trunks emerged out of her house and shakes her head amusedly.
"Oh, kids, and their swords...You kids better stop horsing around with my apples!"
"Aw, Tree Trunks!"
"Now, come on over! I baked y'all an apple pie!" A grinning Tree Trunk says while turning around to enter her house as the kids cheered loudly.
"Yes! I can finally eat one of Tree Trunk's famous apple pies!" An excited Darcy says as she and Jiren run forward as a striking Finn turns to Jake.
"I'm gonna eat it all before you even GET there!" Finn yelled while running away laughing as Jake let out a loud and meme-worthy, 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' as he ran after his adoptive brother and we see the group arriving at Tree Trunks's House as they opened the door and spotted Tree Trunks setting the pie down on a table.
"Apple pie!"
"Give me them apples!"
"Hell yeah!"
"Don't let Finn eat it all!" Finn, Darcy, Jiren, and Jake shouted happily/worriedly as a chuckling Tree Trunks turned to them.
"Now, you boys sit down and behave yourselves-Oh!" Tree Trunks says with a warm smile before gasping in shock and horror as a fly flies over to land on her apple pie and flies away. "Oh no, a fly landed on my pie. That's no good. Bye-bye." Tree Trunks says while going over to throw the pie in the trash as Finn gasps in despair and confusion.
"Why are you throwing the pie away?"
"Because we don't want to eat a pie that a fly touched, Finn." A disgusted Darcy says as Jiren and Jake nod in agreement.
"Flies wanted it, they can have it...anyways, don't y'all worry 'cause the new pie is coming in the wag of a lamb's tail." Tree Trunks says with her usual warm smile while going over to take out another apple pie from the oven and place it on the table. "Here you are." Tree Trunks says as Darcy and the boys happily run over to sit down at the table as they each take one slice of apple pie and eat it. "What do you think?
"Best apple pie ever!" Darcy complimented with a happy moan as Tree Trunks giggled softly.
"Oh, thank you, Darcy, but that ain't the best apple pie."
"What are you talking about, Tree Trunks?" A surprised Jiren asked as Finn nodded while Jake was licking off the remains of their apple pie.
"What can be better than your apple pie?"
"Kids, what would you do if you could do anything?" Tree Trunks asked as Finn perked up and grinned slyly.
"Anything? Well, I'd catch a shooting star, travel to outer space, and fight space monsters!"
"I would love to find a girlfriend, get married, and have kids," Jiren says as Jake beams.
"I'd carve my face on the moon so the moon would look like my face. What about you, Darcy? What would you do?"
"...Eat the whole Candy Kingdom without repercussions." Darcy lied as she would've wanted to go back to her old time, but didn't want to hurt the boys' feelings. "Anyway, what would you do, Tree Trunks?"
"I would go pick an apple."
"...Lame," Finn says before yelping in pain as Jake and Jiren hit him in the arm while Darcy hit him in the back of his head.
"Finn! Don't be rude!" A glaring Darcy scolded as Finn pouted.
"I'm sorry, it's just that Tree Trunks pick apples every day."
"This apple ain't like the apples that I pick." Tree Trunks, causing the gang to turn to her curiously as she smiled at them. "They say it's the apple of apples; the rarest kind of all. Legends call it the, 'Crystal Gem Apple',"
"Crystal Gem Apple? Wait, Darcy, you think one of these things are those Corrupted Gem thingies?" Jake asked as Darcy perked up.
"Most likely and the apple could be a Corrupted Gem or something. Where is the Crystal Gem Apple, Tree Trunks?" Darcy asked as Tree Tunks rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
"I've heard that it grows at the deepest end of the Evil Dark Forest."
"Whoo! Tree Trunks, we gotta go pick that apple!" An excited Finn says as Tree Trunks looks surprised by this.
"What? Me? Oh, no I'm just a cute little elephant. I'm not cut out for adventuring."
"Tree Trunks. This is your dream. Besides, we can help you get the Crystal Gem Apple too." Jiren says as Tree Trunks hums but then grins widely as she nods.
"Well, if you say so, I'll do it. Call me...Adventurer Tree Trunks." Tree Trunks says as Darcy and the others cheered as they ran over to give her a group hug.

We cue to a post-apocalyptic wasteland that features a rat inside of what seems to be a large broken Gem Spaceship and several undetonated nuclear bombs nearby as the camera then pans over to a snow-covered biome, and we see a group of Penguins hugging and kissing each other with a tiny red hearts floating above their heads as they make a few quick wenking sounds and a Snow Golem could be seen sitting on a grassy hill nearby as the rest of the Ice Kingdom appears, including the Ice King as he was floating in the air near his Ice Castle and spins around to face the readers while activating his ice Powers with his hands as Crystal popped out of the window of the Ice Castle while holding onto Gunther as they waved at the readers with a wink.
The camera then appears at the Candy Kingdom as we see a large crowd of Candy People laughing and dancing in the middle of the road as the camera quickly scales up Princess Bubblegum's Castle, eventually passing the clouds to where we can see Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, High King Julius, and High Queen Chewypaste riding around on the back of Lady Rainicorn as Bonnie smiles warmly and waves lightly while Marcy shapeshifts her face to resemble that of a monster and hissed loudly as Julius held out his sword with a determined smirk on his face as Chewy kissed his cheek and waved at the readers cheerfully. Appearing on a huge hot ass dessert, we see a cowboy-dressed stoic Ruby riding around on a Skinny Gaint Chicken as she tipped her hat at the readers before the camera teleports over to the Crystal Gems Temple, which was located deep within a Forest near an Oasis as Sapphire and Spinella could be seen riding around on Hestia as the One-Eyed Gem waved politely while the Pink-Haired Gem stretched out her limbs with a goofy smile on her face.
Teleporting to a dark cave placed inside of a giant scary-looking mountain, we could see a grinning Amethyst relaxing on her bed as an annoyed Pearl was trying to scold her for being so freaking lazy, but to no avail as the Purple-Skinned Gem winked at the readers playfully while sticking out her tongue as the Ivory-Skinned Gem groans in exasperation but flashed the audience a calm smile. Cueing over at the Gang's Treehouse, we see a two-headed duck quacking along before zooming into the house, and we see our faithful heroes residing in their living room as Finn, Jake, Darcy, and Jiren sharing a fist bump with big grins on their faces as BMO and Neptr smiled in the background.

We're going to protect various distant lands
Devastation and mayhem could be seen across various lands of Ooo as many villainous figures like the Lich, the Gem Empire, and other Evil Monsters could be seen wreaking havoc against innocent civilians, who were trying to run away from them and head to safety, but failed miserably as the Super Villains honed in on them and were about to kill them, only for a nearby Warp Pad to glow brightly as the Crystal Gems appeared into the scene and glared over at their Supervillain Foes as a glaring Darcy summonsed her Shield and Magic Staff and got into a threatening battle stance, a serious-looking Finn pulled out his sword and swipes the air a bit, a growling Jake grew up to gigantic size, Jiren lifted up his arms and set them ablaze with hot fire, Ruby and Sapphire fused into Garnet and summonsed her gauntlets, Pear summonsed her spear and aimed it at the Villains with a determined glare, Crystal twirled around a bit and summonsed her fans as she covered them in frost, Spinella summonsed her war hammer and stretched out her limbs as she bounced around lightly, and a glaring Julius pulled out his magic sword as it lit up with blue fire.
And if you think we can't,
We'll always find a way!
Glaring down at the Super Villains, the Crystal Gems then ran forward to confront them with the majority of the members being ahead of Finn and Darcy, who shared a knowing look as they nodded and held hands as the Teenagers then gained determined looks and were able to run past their friends as the Duo Adventurers then leaped up into the air and held out their respective weapons as a glaring Darcy and Finn proceeds to slash/whack the Lich across his face as the others joined in on the fight and leaped over to fight their respective Villains as an epic battle occurred.

After defeating their foes and saving everybody from destruction, the Crystal Gems decided to head back to their Base to celebrate and have a big party with each other as Jake dropped down onto all fours, and the gang was quick to climb up the Giant Dog as he then took off at high speeds with everyone laughing joyfully by this as they zoomed past various people like Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, High Queen Chewypaste, Ice King, BMO, Neptr, Lady Raincorn, Phoebe, Hestia, and Huntress Wizard as they all watched them go in surprise before beaming excitedly as they all eagerly followed after the group.

After reuniting at the Crystal Gems Temple, we see everyone enjoying their little victory by throwing a big dance party with each other as they all mingled with their friends and laughed as we cue to the top of the temple and see our Faithful Heroes having a little part of their own as Jake, Julius, and Jiren shared a high five with a cocky grin while a blushing Finn and Darcy held hands as they leaned over to share a quick kiss before raising their fists up in victory as the title of the story appeared in front of the readers.

"I love being so high up from the ground!" A smiling Tree Trunks says while riding around on Finn's Backpack as we see the gang making their way through the Evil Dark Forest.
"Psst, I can take you even higher on my shoulders," Jake says with a smirk while stretching himself to be taller as Jiren turns to him disapprovingly.
"No, Jake. She has a weak heart."
"Oh, yeah," Jake says while stretching himself back to normal just as the gang steps on some pile of flesh as they look around confusedly.
"Ewww, why is this ground all squishy?" A disgusted Finn asked as a laughing Jake began bending down to press his butt against the floor of flesh repeatedly.
"Whatever it is, I'm liking it."
"I wanna try!" An excited Tree Trunks says as Finn nods and reaches behind him to pull her off of his backpack.
"Okay. I'm cool with you letting you do whatever you want." Finn says while placing Tree Trunks down on the ground as she begins playing around in it.

"Uh, Finn? Are you sure it's safe to have Tree Trunks play around in that? It could be dangerous." Darcy says with a worried tone as Finn eyed her confusedly.
"Why do you say that?" Finn asked cluelessly just as an eye came up and stared at Tree Trunks as she smiled at it obliviously.
"Oh, hello there."
"Uh, I guess that. Tree Trunks, stay away from that." Jiren says just as a wall of flesh raised itself from the ground as the group, minus Tree Trunks, grew tense and got into their fighting poses.
"An eye and a mouth. Well, I think I got the perfect thing for him or her...stickers!"
"Careful, Tree Trunks, this thing is evil!" Finn warned as a smiling and humming Tree Trunks tried to reach into her basket to pull out some stickers, but then yelped in surprise when the Wall of Flesh popped out an arm and grabbed her as it was about to try and eat the sweet old lady, only for a roaring Finn to run over and slice off its arm with his Scarlet Sword as Jake stretched his arms over to grab Tree Trunks and pulled her back as Darcy skid onto the scene and summoned her Spiked Bubble Shield, piercing into the Wall of Flesh's skin and causing him to roar in pain just as the Human/Gem Pre-Teen Hybrid proceeds to pop her bubble as she blew the Wall of Flesh apart and Jiren raised his arms as he fired a huge stream of flames that washed over the blown up parts of the Wall of Flesh and turned them into ashes.
"Man, that was close. Tree Trunks, why were you trying to put stickers on that evil monster?" Darcy asked confusedly and worriedly as Tree Trunks shrugged.
"Well, I thought it needed some tender love and affection-Oh, what a pretty butterfly!" Tree Trunks explained before noticing a butterfly as she was quick to chase after it with a giggle.
"Tree Trunks? Ugh, guys, I just realized that Tree Trunks is old and bonkers." Finn says as Darcy sighs heavily.
"I wished that you said it more nicely, but you are right."
"We can't take her through this Evil Dark Forest," Jiren says concernedly as Jake waves his hand around reassuringly.
"Nah, she'll be fine."
"But the monsters?" Darcy says worriedly as Jake waves his hands around reassuringly.
"It's fine! It's fine!"
"Are you sure?" Jiren asked as Jake waved his hands and head around reassuringly.
"It's fine! It's fine! It's fine!"
"Because she has zero adventurer training!" Finn says as Jake begins waving his body around reassuringly.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine, she'll be fine, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine!" Jake says as the gang laughs amusedly, but then notices that Tree Trunks is missing as they all grow worried. "Tree Trunks?"
"Where'd she go?!" A shocked Darcy asked as Jiren narrowed his eyes seriously.
"We gotta find her, guys!"
"Where are you, Tree Trunks?!" Finn asked as he and the others ran forward to try and search for Tree Trunks, but thanks to Jake's nose, they were able to find Tree Trunks setting up a picnic with the butterfly and it would've looked adorable...if there wasn't Living Evil Sign Posts trying to attack her!
"Tree Trunks!"
"And here's your sandwich." Tree Trunks says to one of the Living Evil Sign Posts while holding up a sandwich with her trunk as he slaps it down into the ground. "Oops, you dropped it."
"Tree Trunks, run!" Finn yelled urgently as Tree Trunks turned to smile at him.
"Oh, hey, Finn."
"Oh for the love of..." Annoyed Darcy says while reaching into her Pink Gem to summon her Shield and tossing it over to collide against various Living Evil Sign Posts, destroying them as Finn ran over to slice apart multiple Living Evil Sign Posts, Jake stretched out his fists to punch them through a bunch of Living Evil Sign Posts, and Jiren fired several icicles that pierced themselves through a couple of Living Evil Sign Posts and killed them.
"Oh, man, that tea party was crummier than a big old biscuit." Tree Trunks says as a scolding Jiren turns to her.
"Tree Trunks, you gotta be careful. You almost got jacked up back there."
"Are you all mad at me?" A teary-eyed Tree Trunks asked as Darcy sighed heavily.
"No, we're not mad at you."
"Yeah, you're too super-cute for me to be mad at you, and you're a top-notch adventurer," Finn says as Darcy nodded in agreement.
"Now, let's go find and eat the heck out of that Crystal Gem Apple together," Darcy says just as a Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast appears as everyone groans.
"Don't worry, guys. You all go fight while I'll keep Tree Trunks out of trouble." Jake says while going over to Tree Trunks as the trio perked up and nodded as Darcy reached into her Pink Gem to summon her Magic Staff and twirled it around rapidly as they all ran forward and the Human/Crystal Pre-Teen Hybrid twirled her Magic Staff around to block all of the Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast's attacks as Finn ran over to try and slice off his snake arms as Jiren fired numerous streams of flames at it.
"J-Jake I think the kids are about to get jacked up."
"Yeah, but don't worry, they can handle it. Darcy and Finn are 12 and Jiren is 13." Jake says reassuringly as Tree Trunks frowns but then perks up as an idea pops into her head.
"I think I know a way to help them out."
"Uhh, you should stay here, Tree Trunks," Jake says as Tree Trunks pouted.
"But I thought Finn and the others told me that I was a top-notch adventurer, and my adventurer instincts tell me to seduce that tentacle critter with my womanly charms and elephant prowess."
"Uhh, no way," Jake says before getting attacked by Tree Trunks' charms, and said person walks over to the Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast as she begins trying to seduce him by doing a sexy dance.
"Uh, what are you doing here, Tree Trunks?" A bewildered Finn asked while slashing more and more of Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast's snake arms as Darcy summoned her Shield and grew it in size to block its attack as she did a double take at what Tree Trunks was doing.
"Wait, is she...twerking at the Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast?"
"I'm helping you all by tempting this guy with my sexy buns!" A giggling Tree Trunks says while standing up on her hind legs and beginning twerking at the Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast as a glaring Jiren turns to Jake.
"It's not a guy, Tree Trunks! It's a Snake Armed Ruby Brain Beast!" A weirded-out Jiren says as Tree Trunks winked playfully.
"Even brain beasts get lonely, Jiren!"
"Jake! You were supposed to watch her!" A glaring Finn yelled as a chuckling Jake could be seen having his face covered with red lipstick marks.
"She got passed me, man. I tried to stop her, but she overpowered me."
"Jake! Get serious! It's about to kill her!" Darcy yelled while gesturing over at Tree Trunks, who was about to be attacked by the asexual Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast as Jake flinched and ran forward as his friend summoned another big shield and tossed it over for the Magical Dog to grab it as he skidded in front of a surprised Tree Trunks and blocked the attack with Darcy's Shield after growing his left arm to match the size of the weapon.
"Guys, kill it!" Jake ordered as the trio nodded and Darcy's Gem glowed a hot pink as she used her shapeshifting powers to morph her arm and grew it in size as it got sharper and gained a more diamond shape as Jiren covered his right arm with a big chunk of sharp ice and the duo thrust their arms forwards to stab them through the Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast's body, severely injuring it as Finn raised his Scarlet Sword and began slicing and dicing Snake-Armed Ruby Brain Beast's whole body, slashing it apart and killed it as Tree Trunks began cheering loudly.
"I did it! I helped! I'm the sexiest adventurer in the world!"
"Tree Trunks! You're not an adventurer! You nearly got yourself killed again!"
"Yeah, are you crazy?! You almost died!"
"Do you even care at all?! Is that what you think adventurers do?! Die and make all their friends feel terrible 'cause they couldn't save you?!" Finn, Darcy, and Jiren snapped in unison as Tree Trunks looked stunned by this and sniffled as she began crying.
"Whoa, dudes." A shocked Jake says as he feels a little bad for Tree Trunks.
"I'm going home now." Tree Trunks says with a sniffle while turning around to walk away as she begins making her way through the Evil Dark Forest. "Oh, Kids, you shouldn't yell at cuties that just wanna help you." Tree Trunks says before she arrived at a meadow and spotted something that made her gasp in shock and awe.
"Man, I feel horrible." A saddened Finn says as we see him and the others walking through the Evil Dark Forest to search for Tree Trunks.
"Yeah, I mean, we were just worried about her safety."
"We didn't mean to make her sad," Jiren says as Jake gives them a comforting look.
"Yeah, I know, don't worry, kids, I'm sure that Tree Trunks understands,"
"Kids, look at what I found!" Tree Trunks yelled, alarming the group as they ran forward and arrived at the meadow that was covered with blue crystals and held what seemed to be a Corrupted Crystal Gem Apple hanging from a nearby tree as Tree Trunks was pointing up at it. "Look! I found the Crystal Gem Apple!"
"Woohoo!"
"You're the woman, Tree Trunks!"
"Nice job!" Jiren, Jake, and Darcy praised as Finn nodded and gave Tree Trunks a guilty look.
"Tree Trunks, Darcy, Jiren, and I are huge butt guys for getting mad at you."
"Yeah, we were only upset because we love you and we don't wanna see you get hurt," Jiren says as Darcy pouted sadly.
"Can you forgive us?"
"Oh, that's precious, kids, and I'll accept your apology."
"Thanks, Tree Trunks," Finn says with a warm smile but then yelped in surprise as the Crystal Gem Apple suddenly glowed brightly and a giant 12-feet-tall icy blue humanoid Corrupted Gem was formed around the Crystal Gem Apple and roared loudly as the Crystal Guardian stepped forward.
"Thanks, Tree Trunks."
"I knew it! It's a Corrupted Gem!" A glaring Darcy says while reaching into her Pink Gem to pull out her Magic Staff as Finn pulls out his Scarlet Sword and turns to Tree Trunks.
"Tree Trunks, stay out of the monster battle this time. We don't want you getting hurt."
"Alright, I promise I will." Tree Trunks says as Jiren smiles and nods.
"Thanks, Tree Trunks," Jiren says while spawning out water tendrils from his back as he, Darcy, Finn, and Jake go over to confront the Crystal Guardian. "Alright, buddy, let us poof you, so that we can get this over with!"

"Hey, stop copying Jiren!" Finn ordered with a glare as the Crystal Guardians gained Finn and Jiren's faces on its body.
"Hey, stop copying Jiren!"
"STOP COPYING ME! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Finn screamed furiously as he ran forward.
"STOP COPYING ME! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Crystal Guardian shouted while creating his own icy blue sword and ran forward to swing blades with Finn as they seemed to be perfectly even.
"I got you, Finn!" Darcy screamed while running over to the Crystal Guardian as she raised her Magic Staff.
"I got you, Finn!" The Crystal Guardian yelled while gaining Darcy's face and creating her own icy blue staff and blocking Darcy's attack as Jiren and Jake shared a look as they nodded and the Magical Dog stretched his arm forward while Jiren fired his watery tendrils at the Crystal Guardian, only for said person to gain Jake's face as he enlarged his own fist to block Jake's attack and created his own icy tendrils to block Jiren's attack.
"Damn it, it's copying everything we do," Darcy says to the boys as the Crystal Guardian was then distracted by the sight of Tree Trunks dancing around with her butterfly friend.
"Whoo! Shake it, Tree Trunks!"
"Whoo! Shake it, Tree Trunks!" The Crystal Guardian says while shapeshifting into Tree Trunks to mimic her dancing.
"Gem-clam! Let's beat it up while it's copying Tree Trunks!" Finn says to the others, who nod as they run forward and the Adventurer lets out a loud battle cry as he swings his Scarlet Sword down, Darcy slams her Magic Staff downwards, Jake stretches his giant fist forward, and Jiren fires a big stream of water as their attacks collided against the surprised Crystal Guardian, causing it to blow up and poof as its Crystal Gem Apple landed on the ground and Darcy went over to bubble it as she then warped it away back to the Crystal Temple.
"Awww, where did my apple go?" A surprised Tree Trunks asked with a pout as Darcy turned to her with an apologetic look on her face.
"Sorry, Tree Trunks, but that apple wasn't edible to eat. It was a Gem like I am."
"Oh, well, don't worry, sweetheart. At least we all had a fun adventure, but I'm still hungry, so how about we go back to my house and I can bake you guys some more apple pies?" Tree Trunks suggested as Darcy, Finn, Jake, and Jiren perked up and cheered loudly as they began making their way out of the Evil Dark Forest.
