In the office at the top floor of LDS tower the company president welcomes his mother the company chairwoman home after her return from overseas.
"Reji, a new summoning method aside from Fusion, Synchro and Xyz has appeared correct?" she asks him, cutting straight to the point.
"That's right, Mother." he confirms and tells her to take a seat.
"Around a week ago it appeared out of the blue." he explains as he shows her the footage of Yuya Pendulum Summoning against Ishijima.
"Pendulum Summon?" the chairwoman questions rather surprised.
"It involves using two of these special Pendulum Cards, and allows you to summon multiple high-level monsters without releasing. This has never existed before." he explains to her.
"It can't be.. Is this also that person's?" she questions with a hint of venom in her voice.
"We are still investigating on exactly how this occurred. But on the topic of Pendulum Summoning itself, through our data and analysis we almost have a complete understanding of it." Reji explains.
"I expected nothing less of you, Reji." the chairwoman exclaims.
"The problem is the Duelist who first discovered it. Her name is Yuya Sakaki. She is currently enrolled in an inner-city Duel School, female age fourteen. She's in the Junior Youth Class. Her recorded match record is forty-six matches with twenty-six wins." Reji explains as he brings up a profile on Yuya.
"Her win rate is almost 50%! That's it and she's still in Junior Youth class! You mean to tell me she is the one who created this new summoning method?" she questions finding it hard to believe what Reji is telling her.
"She is the daughter of that Yusho Sakaki." Reji says.
"Yusho Sakaki?! That Yusho Sakaki who vanished three years ago, who may have joined forces with our enemies, his daughter?" the chairwoman questions shocked.
"We cannot deny the possibility. Or it could be the opposite." Reji states, puzzling her.
"It seems last night Mr. Sawatari's son was assaulted. The attacker was a Duelist who used Xyz." Reji explains.
At the hospital Sawatari is bound in bandages and throwing a tantrum.
"That was Yuya Sakaki! I saw her face with my very eyes! I'm sure of it!" he yells as he remembers his attacker and their dragon.
"You all saw it too right! That was definitely Yuya Sakaki wasn't it!" he shouts at his goons, who just agree like the pushovers they are.
At that Sawataris father, a rather short bold headed man, begins shouting that his honorable son would never lie. After that he shout's out the window that this will not hinder him from being elected mayor.
"Hey Sawatari lied about his injures didn't he?" a goon questions.
"Yeah, and to think he hasn't noticed yet." another says sweat dropping.
"Shingo! Papa will definitely avenge you!" his father tells him.
"Thank you, Papa!" Sawatari says.
"My my Mr. Sawatari there is no need to get so worked up." someone says.
The Sawatari's turn to the door and see the LDS chairwoman walk in.
"Chairwoman Akaba?! When did you return?" Sawatari's father questions.
"Just recently. I heard the news about Shingo and came over!" she answers.
"Oh thank you so very very much!" Sawatatis fathet says walking over to her.
"Oh but how could I not! When I heard that you who will soon be the one running this city, had one of his family members assaulted I just couldn't sit still!" she tells him, clearly trying to get on his good side.
"My sentiments exactly! We must hurry and notify the police!" Sawatari's father says as he is about to make a phone call.
"Oh we shouldn't do that! It's a very important time for you now as a candidate. If word of this got out it would cause all kinds of problems." the chairwoman points out.
"But.." he tries to retort.
"Please leave it to me." she tells him.
"To you..?" he questions.
"Yes, I believe I can resolve this in a way that will satisfy both of us." she assures him.
At You Show Duel School class is currently in session with Shuzo explaining Normal and Advance summon. Tatsuya pays attention, Ayu and Futoshi are bored already knowing all that and Sora
"I perform a Fusion Summon with Vanilla Ice Cream and Custard Pudding! Devour it all! Sweets Ruler Vanilla Prince! Delicious!" he says as he takes a spoon of both and eats it.
"Hey! That's not good!" Yuya tells him sweat dropping, to that Sora retorts that it's delicious and offers her some.
"That's not what I mean! If you get caught eating in class who knows when Yuzu's paper fan will... not come flying?" she tries to say before noticing that Yuzu seems lost in her thought's.
"That's right something has been bothering her since yesterday. Just what happened?" Yuya questions to herself remembering the way Yuzu acted when she found her at the warehouse.
"Next up is Fusion Summoning! How about we have Sora explain this one!" Shuzo says but
"I activate Donut's effect! Vanilla Prince is powered up even more!" he says as he devours more sweets.
"What are you doing eating in class Sora!?" Shuzo asks frustrated.
"Dad! About Xyz..." Yuzu asks her father, confusing him and getting Sora's attention.
"We don't teach Xyz Summoning at our School do we?" she questions, which Shuzo confirms saying he can't teach what he hasn't done.
"It's just recently that they started teaching it at LDS isn't it? Why are you bringing up Xyz all of a sudden?" he questions.
"No I was... just wondering..." she says as she glances over at Yuya remembering that lookalike.
She sits down again with a worried expression which in turn worries Yuya.
"Just who was that guy? And why does he look like Yuya?" she mentally questions.
"You said she ambushed him?! Yuya would never do something that cowardly!" they hear Gongenzaka shout from outside.
"What's all the fuss about?" Shuzo asks as they head outside to see what is going on.
"Oh, Principal! I, the man Gongenzaka, was doing a run for my leg training, when I noticed three suspicious figures peeking into your Duel School. And when I questioned them they said Yuya ambushed someone last night, unforgivable!" Gongenzaka explains before looking at Sawataris goons in front of him with his arms crossed.
"Ambushed?!" Shuzo asks in shock.
"I did?!" Yuya asks not knowing what they mean.
"That's right and we won't let you say you forgot! We were there and saw you with our very eyes! There were four, no five witnesses present!" the goons say one by one.
"Five?" Gongenzaka asks.
"Sawatari, us and... her too!" one of them says pointing at Yuzu.
"Isn't that right?" they say with smug looks on their faces.
"Is that true Yuzu, you saw it too?" Gongenzaka asks her.
"Saw? What?" Shuzo asks.
"The face of the culprit! The son of the soon to be Mayor, Sawatari's assaulter, was Yuya Sakaki!" the goons say pointing at her.
"Stop lying! Yuya would never do something like that!" Tatsuya states.
"The one who wanted attacked first was Sawatari! So to stop him big sis Yuzu went to Duel him!" Ayu explains.
"Wait so the one who dueled him wasn't Yuya but Yuzu?!" Shuzo asks confused.
"Yeah!" Ayu confirms.
"And her opponent was-?!" he asks again.
"Sawatari!" Ayu says.
That means.. The one who ambushed him was Yuzu!" he says panicking.
"That's wrong!" Ayu, Tatsuya and Futoshi tell him.
"We just said it was Yuya Sakaki! She's the one who attacked Sawatari! I feel sorry for Sawatari, he was injured so severely he was hospitalized!" the goons say.
"Hospitalized?!" Yuya asks.
"No way!" Yuzu can't believe it.
"His life could be at risk!" a goon says.
At the same time Sawatari sits on his hospital bed without any bandages, eating fruit and smiling.
"If anything happens to Sawatari how are you going to take responsibility!" another questions.
"Take responsibility... but I-?" Yuya exclaims slightly panicking.
"Hey, say something Yuzu! You saw everything right?" she asks her.
"I did see it. But what they are saying is rediculous! If you ignore everything else there is one thing that sets that duelist apart from you! It was a guy!" Yuzu says.
"You confused me with a guy?!" Yuya asks slightly offended.
"So then what exactly happened?" Shuzo asks being officially lost.
"How about I explain." they hear someone say.
"You're LDS's...!" Shuzo says as the chairwoman steps out of a limousine.
"Yes, I am LDS current Chairwoman. My name is Himika Akaba." she introduces herself.
Once they head inside, the man in the suit who was escorting her gives Sawatari's goons their payment, for causing the scene, in rare cards, before they leave.
Inside the Duel School Himika and Shuzo have seatet themselves to talk.
"Everything they said is the truth. The fact that one of our LDS students Shingo Sawatari was attacked, as well as his statement that the culprit is Yuya Sakaki who is currently enrolled as a student at this Duel School." Himika says.
"Well Yuya? Did you really-?" Shuzo asks.
"I didn't! I would never do something like that!" Yuya says.
"I the man Gongenzaka, believes in his friend Yuya! It's the same for you isn't it?" Gongenzaka states before turning to the members of You Show Duel School.
"Of course!" Futoshi says.
"And you Yuzu?" Gongenzaka asks her.
"I already said it outside, that accusation is ridiculous! The person who attacked Sawatari was a guy! And gender aside, your hair, the way you dress and voice are completely different!" Yuzu states.
"Oh my, what strong bonds you have. It seems it would be impossible for me to ask you to hand over Yuya. But, we cannot back down at this point now. If rumor spread that a student from LDS the world's Number One Duel School lost in a Duel, it would bring forth immense damage to our reputation!" Himika states.
"But Yuya didn't-" Shuzo tries to retort.
"That is no longer relevant! The problem is that the symbol of LDS has been dragged through the mud! The only way to clear this disgrace is a duel between Duel Schools!" she explains rather angry.
"A duel?!" Shuzo asks while Yuya and Yuzu are shocked and Sora smirks slightly since things just got interesting.
"If your party wins we will ignore the case concerning Sawatari. But if we win, we will have you make this Duel School a part of the Leo Duel School!" Himika explains.
"What did you say?!" Yuya asks.
"No way!" Yuzu says, equally shocked at what they just heard.
"Not only do you want to clear your name but to take over You Show Duel School?!" Gongenzaka asks in a mix of shock and anger.
"Chairwoman Akaba, I have heard that you've acquired many other Duel Schools across the world. Am I right in saying that You Show Duel School has become your next target? Don't tell me that-? You set up the entire attack on Sawatari just for this!" Shuzo questions.
"That's not the case! But, it is true that I took a hold of a chance given to me. The chance to have LDS have Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum Summoning as the four pillars to support our school." she explains.
"Don't you think that up until now you've been blessed with quite an amazing gift? Principal Hiiragi. Using the skills and abilities of our Leo Corporation to add Pendulum Summoning to our LDS curriculum. There are many duelists who aspire to use Pendulum Summoning just as Yuya has. The same is for you as well?" she states before addressing the young once present.
"But if you don't have Yuya's Pendulum Cards to Pendulum Summon.." Tatsuya says.
"That can also be resolved by the power of our Leo Corporation. This is why it is necessary for us to unite." she says.
"Along with that we will be able to investigate exactly who Yuya Sakaki is. If she is an enemy of me and Reji or maybe..." Himika thinks to herself before being snaped out of her thoughts.
"Dueling, is not a tool for fighting! But, I don't want You Show Duel School or Pendulum Summoning taken away by someone else! This is a Duel School my father created to teach Entertainment Dueling! A Duel School that teaches that Duels should be something to be enjoyed and viewed by others. I don't want to give it over to someone like you who thinks they can control anyone with their money and power!" Yuya says while clutching her pendant.
"Well said, Yuya! I, the man Gongenzaka, agree whole-heartedly! In order to defend You Show Duel School I'll fight alongside you!" Gongenzaka tells her proud and inspired by her resolve.
"But you're an outsider aren't you? If Duel School students are going to fight together then just Yuya, Yuzu and myself should do right? I also wanted to fight against LDS duelists too after all." Sora states, his first statement shocking Gongenzaka to the point he becomes as pale as a ghost.
"To think you would exclude a man such as I Gongenzaka! I-It's unforgivable!" Gongenzaka exclaims.
"It seems your student's feelings are in line with each other's." Himika tells Shuzo.
"Mine are as well." Shuzo says.
"We won't hand over You Show Duel School!" they all say together.
"Well then, shall we begin?" Himika asks.
On the dueling field the three duelist of each school that will be fighting have assembled.
"Three vs Three. The first who gets two wins is the victor, is that good with you? So then who will go first?" Himika asks.
"Me!" Sora instantly says.
"No, I will!" Yuya cuts him of.
"Of course, after all those other two don't seem reliable. If you want to finish this as soon as possible, then no other choice ma-" she tries to say but
"Hold it! What are you talking about old lady! You don't even know how strong I am!" Sora exclaims clearly offended.
"That's enough out of you." Yuzu tells him, patting his head to calm him down.
"But it's in your best interest if you don't think you'll win that easily. They're all Junior Youth Class like yourself, Yuya. But they are also the ace's of each of LDS' courses! And the one who will be your opponent among them is.." Himika says.
"Me, LDS Xyz Course Member, Hokuto Shijima." the purple haired one introduces himself. The arrogance written all over his face.
"There he is Hokuto Shijima!" Ayu says as she Tatsuya, Futoshi and Gongenzaka look at the guy's dueling record.
"His record this year is fifty-eight matches with fifty-three wins!?" Futoshi exclaims.
"His winning percentage is over 90%!" Tatsuya says, as he Ayu and Futoshi het worried.
"Whether he is an ace or a potential champion is nothing to be afraid of! Show him your abilities, Yuya!" Shuzo says.
Now on the field Yuya and Hokuto are ready to fight, and everyone else is watching from the sidelines with Shuzo being in the control room for the Solid Vision System.
"Our students can handle any situation so, choose whatever you like!" Himika tells Shuzo.
"Can handle anything you say. Then how about this?! Action Field On! Field Magic, Cosmo Sanctuary! Activate! Use the power of the stars to fight, Yuya!" Shuzo says as the Action Field activates.
Seeing the sanctuary in space Hokuto sweat dropps and laughs.
"Of all the options you chose the field that suits me best!" Hokuto says.
"What?!" Shuzo exclaims.
"Just looking at the name Hokuto you can figure out that much... " Sora says.
"I'll definntely win this Duel! I'll win and protect You Show Duel School.. and Dad's Dueling!" Yuya says.
"Duelists locked in battle!" Ayu starts
"Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!" Futoshi continues
"They storm through this Field!" Tatsuya says
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!' Ayu says
"Action!" Tatsuya and Futoshi say
"Duel!" "Duel!" Yuya and Hokuto say as the duel begins.

At the same time Reji enters You Show wearing a black jacket with a hood to disguise himself, then leans against a wall so he won't be seen.
"Hokuto! Show her your power!" Himika tells him.
"Understood, Chairwoman." Hokuto replies.
"I'll go first! I summon Sacred Gredi! When it's successfully summoned, I can Special Summon one Level Four Sacred monster from my hand!" Hokuto says as his monster appears.

"I Special Summon Sacred Kaust!" he proceeds to summon his second monster.
Sacred Kaust (LV.4) (1800ATK/1700DEF)
"I activate Sacred Kaust's effect! Twice per turn, I can change the Level of a Sacred monster by one. I use it to increase Gredi's Level by one. And then I use it again to increase Kaust's Level by one." he says as Kaust fires two arrows into the sky which explode into a rain of sparks over his monsters.

"I overlay Level Five Sacred Kaust and Sacred Gredi! Light of the stars, descend and shake this very earth! Xyz Summon! Rank Five! Sacred Pleiades!" Hokuto chants and his monster appears.

"This is Xyz.." Yuya mutters to herself.
"Rank? Not Level?" Tatsuya questions.
"What? You don't know that much?" Sora asks him.
"Xyz Summoning first off you use multiple monsters of the same level, and that allows you to Special Summon a monster from your Extra Deck. Then they change into an Xyz monster which has a Rank equal to their Level!" Sora explains.
"What are those lights orbiting around it?" Ayu asks.
"Overlay Units! Xyz Monster's use those to activate their effects!" Sora explains.
"With that I end my turn!" Hokuto says.
"If Yuya Sakaki is the one who ambushed Sawatari. I wonder what she will do after seeing this Xyz Summon." Himika thinks.
'My turn, Draw!" Yuya starts her turn.

"Sacred Pleiades. The only thing I can feel from it is arrogance. It's like it's looking down on me and my monsters even though we haven't even started." Yuya thinks slightly annoyed.
"Looks like you guys feel it too. So should we give them a reality check?" Yuya asks mentally as she looks at her hand.
As if to answer her question she feels approval from her cards. At that she smiles and begins.
"Ladies and Gentleman! I welcome you to today's show. Though I am sorry to inform you it will be rather short." Yuya says, spreading her hands with a smile.
"You think you can win in one turn? Yeah right!" Hokuto says laughing at her declaration.
"I will begin by introducing this new duo of performers." Yuya says ignoring the mockery and picks up two cards in her hand.
"With Scale 1 Entermate Ladyange, and Scale 8 Entermate Gentrude, I set the Pendulum Scale! Now I am able to summon monsters from Level Two to Seven!" she says as her two monsters appear in the Scales. Reji then starts to look at the duel.
Ladyange the angel in white looking like a pop star. And Gentrude the fiend in black looking like a rock star.

"But before we get to that, I activate Gentrude's Pendulum Effect. Since his partner Ladyange is the Pendulum Scale with him while I control no monsters, this devilish entertainer lets me add one Odd-Eyes card from my deck to my hand." she explains, as Ladyange winks at Gentrude who smiles at her before taking a page from his book and tosses it at Yuya. When its above her head it pops into sparkles and a card gets ejected from her duel disk.
"I add Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to my hand!" Yuya says showing the cards.
"Now! Swing Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my monsters! Entermate Sky Magician Girl! Stargazer Magician! and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" she chants as her monsters appear.

"There it is!" Ayu says excited.
"The shivers!" Futoshi says wiggling around.
"This is Pendulum Summon!" Himika mutters to herself.
"She chose to Summon it instead to use it as a gate.." Reji thinks looking at Stargazer.
"Two Level Five monsters, are you going to Xyz summon?" Hokuto asks.
"They still think it was Yuya?" Yuzu thinks, as she starts getting angry.
"I wasn't the one who attacked Sawatari! I've never used Xyz Summoning before!" Yuya states having enough of that accusation.
"Oh well, either way you won't be a challenge to me. Simply put you will lose." Hokuto says.
"If you remember correctly I said this would be short. So get ready because you are the one who is about to lose." Yuya says with a playful smirk, as she tries to keep her irritation at his arrogance in check.
"You actually meant that!" Hokuto says laughing at her.
"Battle Phase! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Attack Sacred Pleiades!" she says to which Odd-Eyes begins it's attack.
"But they have the same attack points so they'll both be destroyed." Ayu says not understanding Yuya's plan.
"Odd-Eyes is a Pendulum monster, so she can bring it back next turn." Tatsuya says thinking he gets it.
"I'm not so sure. That look on her face. She is serious about ending this now." Sora tells them, smirking at things getting interesting.
"I activate Ladyange's Pendulum effect! When my monster battles I can send a Pendulum Monster, like Timegazer Magician, from my hand to the Graveyard to lower your monsters attack points by 1000 until the end of this turn!" Yuya says as she discards her magician, weakening Pleiades.

"I activate Pleiades effect! By using one Overlay unit I can return a card on the field to the hand! I choose Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Hokuto says trying to save as much of his pride as he can.

The effect works and Odd-Eyes vanishes but
"I activate Stargazer Magician's effect! Once per turn when a Pendulum Monster I control leaves the field, I can Special Summon that Monster! Return Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" she says as Stargazer's staff glows and Odd-Eyes reappears.

"Continue were you left off Odd-Eyes! Destroy Pleiades! Spiral Strike Burst!" she says as her dragon destroys Pleiades and send Hokuto flying backward.
Hokuto: 4000 - 3000 LP
"Huh? Why wasn't the damage doubled?" Ayu asks.
"I already told you Xyz Monsters have Ranks. Odd-Eyes effect only works on Level Five or higher monsters. But it looks like this is already over." Sora explains.
"Damn you.. In my 40 consecutive wins, I never took damage before!" Hokuto says as he gets up.
This being his favorite field, he knows where he will find a Action Card and runs toward it.
"Enjoy this while it lasts, on my next turn I'm ending you! You hear me! I'll destroy you, you bitch!" Hokuto yells in outrage.
"Language!" Yuya scolds him, sweat dropping she glances at the young ones in the stands hoping they'll forget that one.
"And your're not getting another turn! Sky Magician Girl attack!" Yuya says as the sorceress laughs and tosses one of her rings at Hokuto. The ring tightens around his upper body causing him to lose his balance and fall again.
Hokuto: 3000 - 1000 LP
"And now Stargazer Magician attack him directly and end this duel! Horoscope Cutter!" Stargazer creates a constellation with his staff then blasts it at Hokuto, who gets thrown flat to the rooms actual wall ending the duel.
Hokuto: 1000 - 0 LP
Winner: Yuya
"And that's one win!" Yuya says.
Her friends cheer for her while Shuzo cries tears of joy. Himika hides her expression behind a fan, while Reji looks on still unnoticed.
