Universe found- [Code name:- Justice League.] [Powers:- Superpower and Magic.]
"Oh man, I can't wait!" Izuku muttered to himself, readying his pen and notebook. Just a few seats away, Shoto was doing the same, hoping to find answers to his mysteries in these alternate universes.
The scene opens with two kids sitting on a bus, watching the news about mysterious abductions in Gotham City. The news reporter also speculates about whether these abductions could be connected to a figure known as Batman.
"Why are these kids watching something like this, and where are their parents?" Aizawa asked in an irritated voice.
"Well, Aizawa, leaving kids with technology to avoid raising them seems to be a trend nowadays," Nezu said, giving a pointed look at the parents in the room. "Anyway, from that news broadcast, we learned that the name of this place is Gotham, which doesn't exist in our world. Besides, I'm curious about the kind of person this Batman is."
Outside, a woman was running towards the bus to catch it, but unfortunately for her, the bus left the stop before she could reach it. "Damn it!" she exclaimed. However, suddenly something grabbed onto her shoulder and began to fly away with her.
Suddenly, a figure with a green glow around it entered the scene and began to follow the woman.
"So... I guess these are the abductions that the news anchor guy was talking about," Momo said, sounding a little stunned as she watched the woman being abducted like that.
"But it appears that a hero is already on the scene," Iida said, pointing at the green glowing figure.
The figure chased the abductor and confronted him on a rooftop. "Going somewhere, buddy?" the figure said, revealing their face at last. [Green Lantern=Monoma] The text appeared on the screen.
The shock swept through the audience as they saw one of their own on the screen. However, none exhibited more eccentricity than the Monoma family, with Mrs. Monoma gushing over her son's handsome appearance, while Monoma himself exclaimed, "Ha, take that, Class 1A! Behold my magnificent form on the screen."
The figure spotted the Monoma and altered its course. "All right. You wanna dance? Let's dance," the Monoma said with a smirk, pushing his fist forward and conjuring a green-colored dragon that cornered the abductor. "Your move, precious."
"Wow! Those powers are so cool!" exclaimed Izuku, who began scribbling in his notebook, while Monoma sported a prideful and arrogant smirk.
"Seems like some kind of projection power," Momo mused to herself. "I wonder how it operates."
"Regardless of its nature, his current concern should be securing the women rather than gloating in the abductor's face," Vald King said, with a frown on his face.
Without a second thought, the abductor lifted the woman above his head and threw her down. "No, no. Don't. Crap," Monoma exclaimed as he hurried after the woman, conjuring a baseball glove and catching her midair. He then transformed the glove into a lift and safely brought the woman to a nearby rooftop.
"See, that's exactly what I was saying," Vald King remarked, casting a pointed look at Monoma, who promptly averted his gaze.
"You saved me," the woman said, her hand still wrapped around herself.
"Sure did," Monoma said with a smirk. "The name is..."
"What's the catch?" the woman asked.
"What?/What?" both on-screen and off-screen Monoma asked in a baffled voice.
"What's it gonna cost me?" the woman skeptically asked.
"That is a strange thing to ask, especially of a hero who has just saved your life," All Might said with a frown on his face.
"Well, there is a chance that there is no established hero system in this world," Nezu said. "If you want an example, just think about the dawn of quirks," he added, and many people nodded their heads in understanding.
The Monoma stared at her face for a moment and then said, "You're welcome, lady," with a frown before flying away.
"And how am I supposed to get down from here now?" the woman yelled, but Monoma was already too far away to hear her.
"Serves you right," Monoma retorted, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Now, where did my creepy crawly get to?" Monoma muttered as he continued his search for the mysterious abductor. Suddenly, the abductor tackled him from behind, and both of them crashed into a signboard.
The impact of the crash caused a fire to erupt, scorching the hood of the mysterious abductor and revealing a creature with sharp claws and teeth.
"That thing... doesn't even remotely resemble a human," Kaminari said, a mixture of surprise and disbelief in his voice.
"You think..." Jiro replied drily while rolling her eyes.
"High-tech armor, huh?" Monoma commented as the creature seized him by the throat and hoisted him into the air. "You're gonna have to do better than that," Monoma retorted, but then the creature delivered a series of powerful punches that sent him hurtling into a nearby rooftop. "Okay, that was better," he quipped.
"If you can't back it up, you should learn to keep your mouth shut," Bakugo quipped, a grin spreading across his face, much to Monoma's evident displeasure as he shot a glare at the blonde boy.
The creature then lunged towards Monoma, slamming its leg into his chest and raising its arm to crush him. Just in time, a man in a bat costume arrived and delivered a powerful kick, knocking the creature away from Monoma and causing it to crash into a nearby chimney.
"What were you doing at the docks? I want answers," the man in the bat costume demanded as he seized the creature by the throat.
Every member of the audience fixed their gaze upon the screen, their eyes filled with both interest and curiosity, pondering the identity of this enigmatic newcomer.
Abruptly, Uraraka's eyes widened. "Hold on a second! I know it sounds a little too heavy to be him but... but I'm almost certain that..." Her words hung heavy in the air, and she shot a quick glance toward a certain green-haired boy. As if responding to her unspoken cue, a text materialized on the screen...
[Batman= Izuku Midoriya]
"That's me!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise.
"So, you're saying that Deku is the one wearing that ridiculous bat costume," Bakugo burst into laughter. "Absolutely ridiculous!"
"It's not ridiculous, Bakugo. In fact, it looks quite impressive," Mina chimed in, her thoughts drifting, 'and the way it accentuates his muscles...'
"Indeed, he looks like someone who is familiar with darkness," Tokoyami added, while Kuroiro nodded in agreement.
However, the creature responded by spewing fire from its mouth, forcing Izuku to swiftly dodge. The creature continued its fiery assault, and despite Izuku's agile movements, he was eventually struck hard in the face and sent sprawling backward.
"Man, I'd love to go up against that thing," Mirko declared, cracking her knuckles. "Seems like it could actually put up a decent fight."
Meanwhile, Izuku winced, rubbing his cheek as he felt a phantom pain, empathizing with his on-screen counterpart.
Undeterred, the creature advanced menacingly toward Izuku, but suddenly a brilliant green light emanated behind it. Before the creature could react, Monoma conjured a train that hurtled towards it, ultimately smashing the creature into a wall.
"Ha! Saved your ass, golden boy!" Monoma chortled, a gleeful smile on his face.
"Yeah, thanks for that," Izuku responded, offering a smile as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Tsk, fine," Monoma huffed, clicking his tongue in disappointment. It was no fun taunting someone who didn't respond to those taunts.
"Batman? You're real?" Monoma said, flying towards Izuku and shining his green light on him.
"Turn it off," Izuku ordered, shielding his eyes.
"I had him," Monoma complained, ignoring Izuku's request.
"Clearly. Now, turn off the damn light before they see us," Izuku insisted, walking towards Monoma with a commanding demeanor.
"Before who sees us?" Monoma inquired, just as three Gotham P.D. helicopters suddenly appeared, their spotlights trained on them, and they were warned to raise their hands and surrender.
"Ah! It appears my earlier prediction was accurate," Nezu remarked in a satisfied tone. "Both Batman and Lantern seem to be acting independently, without government or law enforcement authorization."
"So, they're vigilantes," Aizawa stated with an air of disinterest.
"Exactly. And if I had to guess further, I'd say that individuals with superpowers operate independently, considering that very few people possess powers in this world," Nezu added.
"Wait a minute, how do you know that?" Aizawa asked.
"Well, if you click on the 'powers' tab that appears at the start, it provides that information," Nezu explained.
Meanwhile, everyone else was starting to wonder what kind of powers Batman possesses.
"They don't like us very much," Monoma observed as he reluctantly raised his hands.
"The world's afraid of us," Izuku replied.
"You say that like it's a good thing," Monoma retorted, narrowing his eyes at the man.
"It's necessary," Izuku stated firmly.
The theater fell silent as everyone pondered Batman's words. Many of them formed their own interpretations, yet confusion lingered as to why would anyone want people to fear them.
Suddenly, Izuku noticed the creature getting back on its feet and swiftly tackled Monoma out of the way, narrowly avoiding the fiery attack spewed by the creature. Seizing the opportunity, the creature spread its wings and began to take flight, quickly moving away from the scene.
"Well, Midoriya definitely repaid the favor by rescuing your sorry ass this time," Setsuna quipped, a wide grin adorning her face as she glanced at Monoma, who scowled in response.
"More importantly, that creature is escaping," Kendo pointed out. "Someone needs to stop it."
"Take your glow stick and go home. Gotham's mine," Izuku declared as he launched his grappling hook. The pointed end latched onto the creature's leg, and Izuku was pulled into the air, being dragged along while Monoma followed closely behind.
"He seems territorial," Ryukyu commented with a frown. "Going as far as to threaten another hero on site."
"I don't know how vast this Gotham City is, but can a single hero truly keep an entire city safe on their own?" Momo pondered aloud. "We don't even know what his superpowers are."
"He can, but he'll have to stretch himself too thin to be truly effective," Aizawa remarked.
Meanwhile, a tic formed on Monoma's forehead as he muttered, "Glow stick, he said..." while glaring intently at Batman.
"No, see, this entire space sector is my beat," Monoma insisted, but Izuku continued to ignore him. "I'm serious. I'm Green Monoma, damn it." Growing frustrated, Monoma attempted to catch the creature, but all his efforts proved futile.
"Ha! Take that, golden boy!" Monoma exclaimed. "You only have one city to protect, whereas I have an entire space sector to myself."
"But you still failed to catch that thing," Yu pointed out, and Monoma stared at her with a betrayed look in his eyes.
Meanwhile, at the mere mention of space, Uraraka's eyes lit up with stars.
Meanwhile, Izuku, who remained latched onto the creature's leg, had to skillfully navigate through a series of obstacles, including buildings and oncoming cars.
'He almost got crushed by the truck, but he still hasn't used his powers,' many in the audience thought to themselves.
After a series of crashes into several buildings, Izuku finally succeeded in latching onto the creature, only to be forcefully slammed into another building. Despite this setback, the creature attempted to escape once more, but its wings became ensnared in Monoma's conjured trap. Unfortunately, as the creature struggled, its wings tore off, and it plummeted onto a parked car beneath them, triggering a massive explosion.
Once the smoke and debris cleared, the scene revealed an open manhole cover, suggesting that the creature had managed to escape into the sewers.
"Great, despite all that collateral damage, it still managed to escape," Aizawa said in an irritated voice. "That's why I despise vigilantes, they cause more trouble and destruction than they provide help to people."
"Indeed, Aizawa," Ryukyu concurred. "I wonder if these two are even aware of the damage they've caused around them."
"So, what's it doing in Gotham?" Monoma inquired as he and Izuku touched down near the open manhole.
"Witnesses spotted this thing attempting to plant some sort of explosive downtown," Izuku elaborated. "When the police confronted it, it responded by spewing fire from its mouth."
"Yeah, I noticed, but fire is no problem for me," Monoma boasted, following Izuku into the sewers. "As I was saying, Green Lantern can do anything."
"Except shut up, apparently," Izuku retorted in response.
"Ha! I like this version of Deku," Bakugo said with a grin.
"Hey Nemuri, is it just me, or does that version of Midoriya talk like Shota before his morning coffee?" Mic whispered to Nemuri.
"Nope, I can see it too," Nemuri replied, chuckling to herself.
"Wow, someone forgot to take their Tru Blood tonight," Monoma commented with a frown.
"I'm not a vampire," Izuku retorted.
"Seriously?" Monoma raised an eyebrow. "I thought with the darkness and the vanishing, and the, what, super strength?" he questioned, but Izuku denied it. "Can you fly?"
"In a plane," Izuku replied as they continued their search through the sewers.
"Wait, you're not just some guy in a bat costume, are you?" Monoma asked, and Izuku glanced back at him with a smirk.
A moment of silence hung in the auditorium before an excited cheer erupted. "That is so cool!" Melissa exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with wonder.
Izuku found himself unable to disagree. Honestly, he felt a surge of admiration as he gazed at his alternate self, who had achieved what he couldn't. If he were being honest, becoming a vigilante seemed like the next best option if he hadn't crossed paths with All Might.
On the other hand, Bakugo and All Might both wore complex expressions on their faces. The former didn't know how to process seeing an alternate version of Izuku who had accomplished exactly what Bakugo and those around them had insisted he couldn't achieve. While latter, felt a twinge of guilt as memories resurfaced of his initial interactions with his successor. Even if his words that day hadn't been entirely false, he still regretted how he had handled the situation.
However, within the crowd, there were also those who deemed a powerless man doing all of these things was a fool's errand.
"Are you freaking kidding me?" Monoma exclaimed, standing in front of Izuku. After a tense moment of glaring at each other, Monoma was the first to break the silence. "What, nobody asked you to prom, so now you dress as a bat and prowl around your parents' basement?"
'I'm totally stealing that line,' Mirko thought, a chuckle escaping her lips.
"What's this do?" Izuku ignored Monoma's insult and focused on a Monoma Ring that he had secretly snatched from Monoma's hand. Monoma was left shocked as his transformation was undone due to the absence of the Monoma Ring.
"I see... so Green Lantern's powers come from that ring, fascinating," Momo mused, her tone filled with fascination.
"No buttons. I assume it works off concentration," Izuku analyzed the ring.
"How did you do that?" Monoma demanded.
"You weren't concentrating," Izuku smirked at him.
"He got you there, Monoma!" Setsuna chuckled.
"Yep, he got him good," Mina chimed in, laughing along.
Monoma narrowed his eyes and summoned his ring back, transforming back into his Monoma uniform. "You won't do that again," Monoma asserted in a confrontational tone.
"Unless I want to," Izuku replied casually, beginning to walk away.
"Damn it! He is starting to irritate me now," Monoma grumbled, observing the interaction between Lantern and Batman.
"That's it. Let's rumba, spooky," Monoma quipped, reaching out to grab Izuku's shoulder. In response, Izuku swiftly countered by slamming Monoma into a nearby wall, gesturing for him to be quiet and pointing in a specific direction.
Meanwhile, the creature from earlier extracted a device from its body and affixed it to the sewer wall before activating it.
"Now that I think about it, that creature looks a lot like a Nomu, doesn't it?" Izuku mused aloud while tapping on his notebook.
"Hmm... with its multiple abilities like flight, spitting fire, and formidable strength, I can certainly see the resemblance," Iida agreed, concurring with Izuku's assessment.
Observing this from behind, Monoma was ready to take action, but Izuku intervened by gripping his shoulder. "Hold fast. We need more info."
Aizawa agreed with Batman's words as he wholeheartedly believed that rushing into things blindly is surely the shortest way to reduce one's lifespan.
"Bull crap. That's a bomb and he just armed it," Monoma retorted, his ring at the ready. While the device on the wall began to emit a bright light.
"Monoma, wait," Izuku urged, attempting to halt him. However, Monoma was already advancing toward the creature and the device. Suddenly, the creature turned around and uttered, "For Darkseid," before blowing itself in a powerful explosion that engulfed the area.
Everyone held their breath as a massive explosion engulfed Izuku and Monoma. More importantly, they were stunned because... "Did that thing just blow itself up?" someone in the audience muttered, echoing everyone's thoughts.
Once the explosion subsided, it became evident that Monoma had shielded both himself and Izuku from harm by manifesting a Locker around them.
"That Batman guy is lucky that Lantern was there to protect them; otherwise, he would have died in that explosion," Beast Jeanist remarked. "I don't understand why he needs to go out there in that unfashionable costume when he doesn't have powers in the first place."
Jeanist's comment deeply offended Izuku, and he was about to retort. However, before he could, Melissa interjected, "With all due respect, sir, I don't think most of you could have survived that explosion without someone's help. And just so you know, Lantern himself gets his powers from an external source. So, are you going to dismiss his achievements as well?" she finished, glaring at the No.3 hero, who wisely chose to remain silent.
"Darkseid? What's that, a band?" Monoma quipped as he and Izuku emerged from the locker.
"Some kind of death cry," Izuku responded as they approached the device on the wall. "It wanted to take us with it. All to protect this," he stated, pointing at the device.
"That thing must be on some kind of mission," Nezu mused to himself. He also couldn't help but notice that the device the creature was planting hadn't been destroyed in the explosion.
"Ooh! Is it an alien invasion?" Mina exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with excitement. Her enthusiasm dimmed when she noticed people giving her deadpan looks. She quickly calmed down and offered a sheepish smile.
"I'm on it. Ring, scan and identify," Monoma commanded, activating his ring's scanning function. After a few seconds of scanning, the ring announced that it couldn't identify the device. "That's impossible. The ring knows what the Guardians know and the Guardians know everything," Monoma exclaimed in disbelief.
"Guess it's not everything," Hawks remarked absentmindedly. "Still, it's fascinating to see just how many things that one ring can do."
Izuku stepped forward and scanned the device using his own scanner. "It doesn't scan like a bomb. More like an alien computer."
"Alien? Like the guy in Metropolis?" Monoma inquired.
"Superman," Izuku confirmed.
"Sounds like a hero name that one of the first-generation heroes would use," Cathleen commented.
"But the question is, is this alien playing hero while pretending to be human? And if so, why is he doing that?" Aizawa pondered.
"Maybe he's just doing it out of goodwill," Izuku suggested.
Aizawa gave him a bored look and said, "There are very few humans in this world who would risk their lives for others solely out of goodwill, and this is an alien we're talking about. There have to be other factors at play here."
"You've met him?" Monoma questioned.
"No, but I've researched him. His power levels are..."
"Not gonna be a problem for me," Monoma interjected, wearing a confident grin.
"We'll see," Izuku responded. His attention shifted back to the device. "In the meantime, we need to know more about this thing."
"He is going to regret not listening to Izuku, isn't he?" Kendo asked, and the people around her nodded in agreement. Even Monoma himself reluctantly agreed with her.
The scene transitioned, and the screen displayed 'Metropolis.'
"This Metropolis place looks just like New York," Cathleen remarked while observing the new location on the screen. "I can't help but wonder if I exist somewhere in there."
We witnessed Monoma's conjured jet touching down on a rooftop.
"And now he made a jet out of that ring," Ochako said, her gaze fixated on the ring in fascination. "I'm starting to wonder if there's anything that ring can't create."
"Well, he certainly can't make a solid W for himself, because until now, he hasn't gotten one," Bakugo quipped with a grin, while Monoma grumbled in the background.
Subsequently, Monoma and Izuku disembarked from the aircraft and stepped out onto the rooftop.
"Superman's close," Izuku stated while keeping his focus on the device in his hand. "I've been tracking his flight path."
"Pfft. On what? Your own satellite?" Monoma quipped, to which Izuku merely glanced at him briefly before returning his attention to the device. "I was kidding. You have a satellite?"
"I have my very own satellite!" Izuku exclaimed, his mind drifting into contemplation as he envisioned the possibility of stalking various heroes... no, wait... studying, yes, studying them with such a tool. "Hey Momo, how much money would it take to acquire your own satellite?"
"Hmm... a satellite, you say?" Momo pondered for a moment before responding, "Let's just say that procuring a genuinely useful satellite would leave a significant dent even in my family's finances," Momo nonchalantly replied while Izuku's face paled upon hearing that. Meanwhile, some in the audience were wondering since when Izuku and Momo were on a first-name basis, especially her mother, who started studying the green-haired boy.
"Here he comes," Izuku announced, and in the next instant, Superman soared overhead, engaged in a battle with a similar creature to the one they had encountered before. The clash culminated with Superman forcefully colliding with the opposite building.
"Now there are five more buildings with holes in them," Thirteen sighed, feeling bad for the people who would have to clean up this mess left behind by these vigilantes.
"First one to the building is..." Monoma began, but he swiftly realized that Izuku was already propelling himself forward using his grappling gun. "Ugh, I really hate that guy," Monoma muttered in annoyance.
"Couldn't agree more," Monoma muttered under his breath.
Finally, Superman crashed into an empty construction site, bringing the creature down with him. Soon after, Izuku and Monoma touched down at the same location.
"Wait here. I got this," Monoma smirked at Izuku. "No offense. You'd just get in the way," he added, conjuring a box around Izuku with his ring.
Izuku frowned upon seeing how Lantern was treating his other self on the screen. But, given Lantern's track record so far, he knew that regret would likely follow those words.
"Here's the plan. Green Monoma kicks All Might's ass. TMZ's got the video," he quipped before proceeding to enter the building where Superman had crashed while Izuku glared at him.
"Oh, this is going to be good," Melissa said with a wicked grin on her face, sending shivers to the people sitting around her.
Then a series of explosions erupted within the building, and subsequently, Monoma was forcefully ejected from the structure, colliding with a fuel tank that triggered an explosion.
"Well, that lasted much shorter than I thought," Kendo commented, a strained smile on her face.
"At least that will bring him down a few pegs," Setsuna added.
Meanwhile, Monoma let out a defeated sigh. He had grown tired of witnessing himself being insulted like that.
The force of the impact also shattered the box encasing Izuku, sending him tumbling backward. Izuku clutched the mysterious device close to him, striving to regain his footing. However, before he could fully recover, Superman appeared with superspeed, seizing Izuku and slamming him into a nearby wall. As the dust settled, the camera focused on Superman's face, and a text materialized on the screen: [Superman = All Might].
"All Might!" students and others cheered in surprise.
"I'm an alien?" All Might exclaimed, blood spattering from his mouth.
Meanwhile, Cathleen felt a childlike excitement at the sight of her idol in his prime form. Alongside her, several ladies in the audience had faint blushes on their faces, captivated by the Symbol of Peace's undeniable charm.
"So, what can you do?" All Might asked, a self-assured smirk on his face as he held onto Izuku's cape.
Izuku had never imagined this could be possible, yet a chill ran down his spine as he watched himself being cornered by what appeared to be All Might in his prime. Despite the unsettling feeling, the fan inside him couldn't help but be excited at the prospect of witnessing Prime All Might in action, even if it meant watching himself take a beating from the man himself.
Izuku swiftly retrieved a batarang, using it to cut off a portion of his cape that All Might was holding. He then quickly distanced himself from All Might, who watched with an amused smile on his face.
"Deku is fucked," Bakugo commented, his usual mocking smile absent this time.
"Watch your language, brat," Mitsuki scolded him, prompting Bakugo to grumble to himself.
Meanwhile, Izuku hurled smoke bombs at All Might and took cover behind a piece of rubble. The bombs emitted purple smoke, which was potentially poisonous given the filtering device in Izuku's mouth. However, to Izuku's dismay, "I can still see you," All Might casually strolled through the smoke and materialized right in front of him, an amused smile playing on his lips.
"So he's immune to poisons or whatever that purple smoke was," Nemuri realized, coming to terms with the fact that her quirk wouldn't affect him.
"Even I am not immune to things like this," All Might muttered to himself.
Izuku swiftly spun around and shot a grappling hook at a distant point to escape, but All Might, utilizing his superspeed, intercepted the grappling hook in midair and crushed it effortlessly, much like snapping a twig.
"And super strength and speed, just as we anticipated," Nezu remarked.
"The creature that attacked me had one of those boxes you have," All Might remarked with a smirk as he advanced towards Izuku. In a swift motion, Izuku executed a backflip, hurling a batarang at All Might, who effortlessly caught it in his hand. "A friend of yours, I assume?" All Might quipped, only for the batarang to suddenly explode in his face. Seizing the opportunity, Izuku swiftly deployed another grappling hook and ascended to higher ground.
Meanwhile, All Might emerged from the dissipating smoke unscathed. "He blew up. So, I'll ask you," he declared, employing his heat vision to sever the steel beam beneath Izuku's feet.
"So... it's All Might with multiple quirks," Mina observed after a brief pause. "Yep, villains in that world are pretty much done for."
"Or maybe he's the ninth," Izuku accidentally blurted out, his voice inadvertently carrying his thoughts. He quickly stumbled into a flustered explanation, even though he couldn't help but notice Bakugo's glare and the word 'idiot' mouthed at him. In response, Izuku managed only a sheepish smile.
The Dark Knight plummeted from the significant height to the ground below, quickly rolling to his feet. In a swift move, Izuku deployed a set of wires towards All Might, attempting to electrocute him. However, the attempt proved futile, as the electrical assault had no effect on the Man of Steel.
Kaminari sulked in his seat, disheartened as he watched electricity fail to even tickle All Might on the screen.
Undeterred, Izuku hurled another gadget to the ground, unleashing a barrage of high-pulse soundwaves at All Might. Yet again, the superhuman figure pressed forward, effortlessly crushing the gadget under his feet.
"Yeah, I already figured my quirk wasn't going to work either," Jiro said with a shrug.
"Hmm... maybe Mic-sensei's quirk could work since the decibels he produces are much higher than yours," Momo mused to herself.
He lunged forward to strike at Izuku, who skillfully evaded the attack. However, the force of his blow caused the wall behind Izuku to crumble and collapse.
Izuku attempted to create distance, yet in an instant, All Might was by his side, clutching the box in his grasp. With a casual movement, he propelled Izuku, sending him crashing into a wall. Almost before Izuku could descend, All Might was there, seizing him by the throat.
"It's useless," Endeavor said, shaking his head. "No matter how agile or intelligent he is, there's no way he's going to defeat a man who is 100 times stronger than a normal human like him."
"Well, that would have been true if my other self was trying to defeat him," Izuku casually interjected, capturing everyone's attention, with a few surprised faces in the crowd. "I mean, I thought it was obvious that my counterpart was attempting to collect data on All Might by throwing various things at him and waiting for one of them to land."
"Oh, I caught on to that too!" Melissa exclaimed. "I like his style. Honestly, the best way to test your theories and gadgets is directly in the field," she continued, while Mei nodded happily in the background, quietly jotting down notes on the intriguing gadgets displayed on the screen.
"Morons need kids to explain simple things like these," Gran Torino huffed in annoyance.
"What are these boxes for?" All Might demanded, hoisting Izuku off the ground with his firm grip. "Talk while you still can."
"Trying to," Izuku said while grunting.
"Round two, flyboy," Monoma quipped, materializing from behind All Might. He summoned a series of chains and hurled them at All Might, who managed to deflect two of the incoming chains but was caught off guard by a larger one. The impact of the chain struck him, effectively freeing Izuku from his grasp.
"Finally, it's my time to shine," Monoma proclaimed with a huge grin on his face. "And Midoriya, just so you know, the score is now 2-1 in my favor."
"Lantern, no!" Izuku shouted, but Monoma persisted in bombarding All Might with chains.
"What? Jealous that I'm doing what you couldn't?" Monoma asked, his confusion evident as he tried to understand why Izuku's counterpart was attempting to stop him.
"No... of course not," Izuku replied with a tired sigh. "What I'm saying is that we shouldn't push him too far when he's giving us a chance."
"What are you talking about, Midoriya?" Monoma asked.
"What the nerd is trying to say is that All Might is holding back by a lot," Bakugo chimed in. "If All Might wanted to, he could have finished both you and Deku as soon as you landed there. Instead, he was just playing with you, trying to extract information."
After a barrage of strikes, he successfully immobilized All Might with a complex arrangement of chains.
'Got him!' Monoma thought triumphantly, ready to celebrate his victory, when...
"Chains? You're funny," All Might retorted with a smirk, effortlessly shattering the chains and freeing himself.
"Okay, now this is starting to get scary, you know..." Kaminari commented. "I mean, it's like witnessing All Might with mods. Let's just hope he never goes rogue in that world."
"Yeah, that would be an injustice for that world's heroes and villains," Mina chimed in.
"We won't stop him. He's pissed off," Izuku cautioned him in a serious tone. "We have to talk to him," he asserted, noticing that All Might's expression had shifted to one of seriousness.
"I don't know if he wants to talk to you guys tho," Uraraka said with a strained smile on her face.
All Might soared into the air, launching himself towards the duo. Swiftly responding, Monoma conjured a protective barrier around them, skillfully evading the oncoming assault. As All Might's attack landed, the surrounding area bore the brunt of the destruction.
"The owner and the workers at that construction site are going to have a lot of fun cleaning up that mess tomorrow," Ochako's father remarked aloud.
All Might persisted in his onslaught, forcefully propelling the duo through multiple buildings with each powerful punch. Monoma skillfully preserved both of their lives by maintaining his protective barrier.
"Great work, Yagi. Sending them crashing through buildings seems to be the most effective way to... well, achieve whatever your counterpart is attempting," Aizawa commented, giving a pointed look at All Might.
"Relax, Aizawa. I'm sure my counterpart must have thought this through," All Might replied calmly.
"Monoma, focus. You stop concentrating and that shield breaks apart," Izuku said, noting the emergence of cracks on the barrier's surface.
'Shut up,' Monoma thought, putting his concentration on the barrier, causing the cracks to gradually vanish.
"I don't think someone talking in your ear helps with the consternation," Monoma grumbled to himself.
Eventually, All Might's relentless assault bore fruit, breaking through the barrier. As the barrier shattered, Izuku managed to land on his feet just in time, bracing for what came next.
"Did that car just get crushed under his weight?" Sero asked, confusion evident in his eyes. "I thought he didn't have any powers."
"I think it's the suit he's wearing," Melissa said. "It must be quite heavy to cause that much damage to the car."
All Might swiftly charged towards Izuku, poised for another strike.
"This guy is going to kill us," Monoma exclaimed.
"No, he won't," Izuku countered, his hand raised defensively.
Now everyone was surprised and intrigued after hearing how confident Izuku sounded when he said that.
"You bruise but you don't kill," Izuku addressed All Might, who was mere moments away from delivering another blow. "do you, Yagi?" All Might's eyes widened, and he abruptly halted, a few meters from Izuku.
"And he stopped... strange but cool," Kaminari said, sounding fascinated by how Izuku managed to halt someone like All Might with just a single word.
Meanwhile, Izuku and All Might chuckled to themselves, reflecting on the common trait of having a secret identity that both All Might and Superman shared.
"You've made your point, heh..." All Might's eyes briefly glowed before a smirk graced his lips. "... Izuku Midoriya."
"Hmm, it seems you're a well-known person in that world, Midoriya," Nemuri said, teasingly smiling at the green-haired boy.
"How did you figure that out?" Momo asked.
"It's quite obvious if you notice how he reacted once he realized who Batman was," Nemuri explained. "His smile and the way he said Midoriya's name clearly show that he wasn't expecting him to be under that mask."
"Who the hell is Izuku Midoriya," Monoma inquired, his confusion evident as he observed the exchange between the other two.
"And there's our sweet summer child, oblivious to everything happening around him," Setsuna said with a chuckle.
"We think it's alien," Izuku explained, displaying the alien device to All Might.
"Well, it's not Kryptonian," All Might confirmed.
"Worth a shot," Izuku replied.
"Hey, hey, what happened? We're done fighting?" Monoma inquired, his confusion was still apparent.
"Alien is relative, by the way," All Might quipped, a smirk playing on his lips. "It's a big universe."
"Stop ignoring me!" Monoma yelled, but just like his on-screen self, he was ignored here as well.
"The conversation between them was quite interesting and provided valuable insights into that world," Nezu remarked, intrigued by the opportunity to learn more about this reality.
As they conversed, their attention was suddenly drawn to the approaching law enforcement helicopters.
"Let's move," Izuku instructed, and the trio swiftly made their exit through the sewers.
"Man, what is it with you and sewers?" Monoma remarked.
"They seem easy to hide when choppers are pursuing you," Izuku said with a chuckle.
"Someone is strategically placing these boxes. We have to find out who and why before it's too late," Izuku stated firmly as the trio continued to move forward.
Then the screen turned black.
"Well, that was an experience," Nezu remarked. "Now that we know this thing really works, we can move on to the next universe. But before that, what are your thoughts on this universe?"
"Vigilantes were too reckless and caused too much destruction around them," Aizawa said dryly.
"Batman was awesome!" Melissa exclaimed.
"He wasted too many babies on the big blue, but he also gave me ideas for some intriguing gadgets," Mei noted.
"Green Lantern had an incredibly versatile power," Momo added. "Just like my quirk, his imagination is his only limit."
"That's right, they should respect him more," Monoma chimed in.
"Watching Superman felt both terrifying and amazing at the same time," Izuku shared.
"Couldn't agree more," Cathleen said, sporting a wide grin.
"Yeah, he's one of those people that even I wouldn't want to fight against," Mirko added, nodding her head.
One by one, more people expressed their opinions, and once everyone had spoken, they moved on to the next universe.
To be continued...
