Poll on my profile! Check it out! Closing at the end of October.
Here's the new chapter, I hope you'll enjoy it.
phillyitalian - Oh really? I haven't got around to watching Bluey (because I don't have any young family relatives) but I heard it's good. I'll have to see if I can find the episode to see what you mean.
djinn - Yeah, I love writing for Juvia because the way she speaks and how she interacts with people is cute. I also think she works well with Night Terror since he's always nice to her. Originally, Snowbell was actually going to a pretty young girl with a fiery temper, but I scrapped it becuase I thought Snowbell being an old muscular man was much funnier and similiar to the bizzarw humour of Fairy Tail. He did turn out a bit like Tiger, huh? Thanks so much for reading and I hope you'll enjoy this chapter.
MasterDarkElf - That's great to hear. Juvia is one of my favourites as well. I get what you mean about Grey, but they do have their moments. Thanks for reading and I hope you'll enjoy this chapter.
MDM11 - That's alright. It's still nice to hear from you nonetheless. Thanks so much for the suggestions. I have adapted some of them for this arc so I hope you'll enjoy it.
ShadowSsP - Nope that's he actual height without his armour and magic. The Phobos are actually very tall with the average height being 6'11 for males and 6'7'' for females.. So, Night Terror (7') is just taller than average while Muireall (6'1'') is quite short for a Phobos. Although, with his armour and magic, it puts an extra 3'' inches onto his height. From what I have found, the tallest member of Fairy Tail is Elfman and he's 6'8'', so yeah, he's very tall.
FanSuperAnime - Huh!? You skipped parts of my story!? But it took so long to write them!
...
...
...
...but you do make a good point. I would do the same thing, to be honest. Cat maid girls are the best!
Guest - Staying hydrated is very important. That's why everybodys needs a Water mage waifu to prevent you from from becoming dehydrated. Where she gets it from doesn't matter. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.
Skull Flame - It's kind of a haunted house, but he's the only one haunting it so it's not too bad. Weird fanservice filler chapters is what makes Fairy Tail great and I'll stand by it. Thank you for listening to my other Ted Talk.
wellingtonlucas282 -No problem, thanks for reading.
Raging Drake - Thanks so much. I'm currently reading the 100 Year Quest series and watching the anime, so I'm getting back into Fairy Tail as well. I'm so glad that you liked the lore and the history, it's a lot of work, but I really enjoy creating. I hope you'll continue to read as we enter the next arc. Thanks again and I hope you'll enjoy this chapter.
KamenRiderFan04 - Thanks so much. I'm so glad that you are enjoying it. The harem suggestions sound great (I can't believe I haven't thought of them before), I'll include them as well. Thanks again and I hope you'll like this chapter.
Thanks for the review :)
Chapter 34: The Gathering Of The Guilds
Unknown Location
In a large open room, filled with shadows in each corner, Ultear stood at its centre and looked up at the giant throne in front of her.
The Magic Council, that she had been a member not too long ago, had now been dissolved after the Tower of Heaven incident; allowing her to no longer keep up the act of a diligent authority in Fiore and to fully embrace what she truly was. Especially now that Jellal was gone, she held more authority within Grimoire Heart.
A confident smirk graced her beautiful face as she bowed deeply to the man seated on the elaborate throne in greeting.
"Master Hades."
The large man, shrouded in darkness, reclined casually on his seat and looked down at the young woman with one sharp, intelligent eye. His fingers rapped his armrest at a constant rhythm while he leaned his head against his other fist. He smiled wickedly and spoke in a calm, dark voice that seemed to travel through the darkness like a soulless echo.
"Ultear, it has been too long," the voice of Lord Hades drawled from within the darkness.
"Indeed, master. Why have you summoned me, master?"
Hades gave a small chuckle, "Straight to the point as usual," he mused wistfully, "Faceless One's intelligence network has notified me about something very interesting. Something that couldn't threaten the peace across Fiore," he looked towards the door to his throne room and hummed in mild disappointment, "Hmm, speaking of the Phobos, I had also summoned Faceless One here."
For the briefest of seconds, the smirk dropped from Ultear's face. But she quickly regained her composure before her hidden master could notice.
"I believe she is busy moping in her laboratory...like always," she said, a hint of anger woven in her voice, "In all due respect, master, you expect too much from her. She is far too unpredictable."
Hades grinned down at her, "Unpredictable? Yes. Ruthless? Yes. Disobedient? Of course she is. However, I somehow can't be mad at her. The Phobos has improved our guild in so many ways. Her mere presence has made us stronger and pushed us further to our goals. With both her power and her knowledge, we are superior to Makarov's guild. Besides..." he said as his grin grew wider, "Those traits of hers are admirable; they are everything I expect from a member of our guild. The Phobos Clan may be gone, but the brutality of their magic lives on with her and within Grimoire Heart," he said, making Ultear scowl in annoyance. Hades chuckled at her expression, "You never really got on with Faceless One, haven't you?"
-Seven Years Ago (Two Months After The Phobos Clan Perished)-
Unknown Location
The door slammed wide open to Master Hades' throne room as one of the many attendants in his servitude ran inside in sheer panic. His face was pale and sweating and there were tears in his eyes; he looked as if he had witnessed a traumatic sight. Hades glared at him from his elaborate throne at his rude interruption, but, as soon as he saw his appearance, his eyebrows raised in slight intrigue.
"M-Master Hades!" the attendant yelled in alarm, "It's the...the...new recruit."
"Hmm? New recruit?" Hades hummed darkly, "Is there something wrong with the Phobos?"
The attendant gulped and pointed back towards the door, "It's the Seven Kin...they were meeting the Phobos...and she...and she-AGH!"
Suddenly, to Hades' mild surprise, the attendant gave a bloodcurdling scream in pain and fear. His eyes bulged from their sockets; he clutched his head as if he was struck with agony; his skin became a light grey colour before it cracked and fractured. The attendant collapsed onto the floor; his entire body flaking away piece by piece as he fell. Very soon, the attendant was nothing more than a pile of white ash.
Hades gave the ash pile that was once human a disinterested look before looking up at the murderer. Draped in blood red robes with a hood that covered her head entirely, the Faceless One stood at the door with her gloved right hand outstretched from when she had touched the attendant and silenced him forever. In her other gloved hand, she dragged another young girl by her long black hair. She was beaten to a pulp; her face and body were bruised and cut and blood dripped from mouth and onto the floor. Judging by the awkward angles her arms and legs were in, they were broken and fractured to the point that they hung loosely beneath her. Hades could tell that she was still alive, but her breathing was shallow and her eyes were rolled back in her head; it was clear to him that she was in excruciating pain.
However, Hades didn't react like any normal person would. He reclined in his throne and gave a small grin at the Phobos he had managed to find only a few days ago. Despite her age and her short stature, she was still more intimidating than any person he had ever encountered. Not just by her magic, but also the aura that emitted.
And that is what Hades liked about her.
The older man sighed and leaned his hand on his fist casually, "Faceless One, good evening. May I ask what did you do to my Seven Kin?"
The Faceless One, in a voice colder than ice, hissed in reply beneath her hood.
"Dead. All of them."
"I see."
"They annoyed me."
"Annoyed you?"
"Yes," she looked down at the teenage girl that was dragging by the hair, "Especially, this one. I want to make her suffer a little more and then kill her."
Hades glanced over at the unconscious girl in her grip and gave a small malicious smirk, "I would prefer you to not kill young Ultear, Faceless One. She's very important and the key to our operations."
Faceless One glared down at the young Ultear in her grasp before she let go, allowing her to slump onto the dark, polished stone floor. Hades gave a small smirk as he leaned back on his throne, studying the young Phobos with his one critical eye.
"Thank you, Faceless One," he slowly said, "Now, what are we going to do about my Seven Kin, hm? They were all powerful dark mages. The finest fighters I could find."
"They were weak."
"Clearly."
"I'll find better ones..." she paused for a few seconds before she shook her head, "...no, I will make better ones. Soldiers. An entire army at your disposal. If you'll allow me."
The master raised a single eyebrow at what she was suggesting.
"An army? You're ambitious, Phobos," Hades said with an amused smile, "You only joined my guild a few days ago and you are already making demands. What is wrong with the position you are in now? Would you not like to be one of my Kin?"
"No," Faceless One frankly stated, "That would bore me. I wish to do more. Become more," her head tilted upwards to reveal her hollow, emotionless eyes beneath her hood, "An army could crush any resistance opposed to the guild, gather intelligence and ensure that your plan flourishes. I only need a lab, funding, test subjects and time. Would that be acceptable, Master Hades?"
The master pondered for a few seconds as he studied the young Phobos critically. After a long, tense pause, Hades lent forward and peered down at Faceless One from his throne.
"If this...army is loyal to me and what you what you have told me is true about the Ultimate Magic World...then you can have anything you want, Phobos," Hades said with a nod of his head. He then leaned back on his throne and smirked in amusement, "However, it wouldn't be much of a guild if it didn't have members. I will have to recruit more now...but, if you want to purge them, ask for my permission first."
Faceless One smirked from under her hood, "I accept those conditions."
-Present-
Ultear sneered in anger at Hades remark. It was seven years ago, but she still could feel the pain that the Phobos had put her through; both mentally and physically. She fought down the urge to snarl and tore her mind away from the hazy memories.
"No...we never saw eye to eye, Master Hades," she growled bitterly.
Hades couldn't help but chuckle darkly at her reaction. Ever since Faceless One beat her to a pulp, Ultear had took it on herself to get stronger and train her magic to perfection.
Rivalry was good for a guild. It made them exceed the limits they have set themselves.
"Never mind," Hades said with a waved of his gloved hand, "I can rearrange our meeting if she's busy. There is a more immediate matter that we should focus on," he said, catching Ultear's attention, "The dark guilds of Fiore are becoming more active. It would seem that, ever since the old Magic Council dissolved, they are taking advantage of the chaos left behind. I can only imagine the crisis the royal family and their soldiers are going through. One particular guild has caught my attention in the report: Oracion Seis."
"Oracion Seis," Ultear hummed thoughtfully, "So, they are finally making their move. How will you respond to this, Master Hades?"
"Ignore them," Hades told her, "I will send some of the Nobodys to observe, but we will not do anything else. Let the lawful folk deal with them while we take the opportunity to advance our search for the keys to Zeref's seal. Let us hope that they succeed in eliminating a few of the guilds that stand in our way."
Ultear smirked wickedly, "Fairy Tail...for instance," she suggested, "And what if the Night Terror gets involved."
Hades leaned back on his throne, his wicked one eye blazing in excitement.
"All the more reason to wait and watch what happens."
Fairy Tail Guild
A Few Days Later
"This is torture! Why are you doing this to me! What have I done to deserve this!"
"Don't exaggerate, kid. It's just maths. Now start from the beginning."
Flare laid her head on the wooden bar dramatically; tears streaming down her face and onto the test paper that she was trying to solve.
"Don't wanna!"
"Aren't you a little too old for temper tantrums?" Ur questioned rhetorically as she sat on the bar stool beside her, "Come on. If you finish this, then we can-"
"Stop for the day?" Flare asked hopefully.
"-take a five minute break."
"Aww!" Flare complained, "I don't get it. What's the point of algebra? Just use numbers! That's what they're for! Why make it more complicated!?" she whined, making Ur roll her eyes.
It had been a while now since the Battle of Fairy Tail and its effects has now diminished into nothing more than a bad memory with some changes. With Laxus gone, the Thunder Legion, instead of breaking up like others thought they would, had still stayed strong and remained good friends. What was better was the fact that they seemed to be getting along with the other members of the guild. Whether their change of attitude was caused by them finally acknowledging their strength or they were atoning for their actions was still up to debate, but that didn't really matter overall. However, what was surprising, was Makarov announcing that he was stepping down as guild master. He took the news of his grandson's crimes against the guild hard and wanted to atone in response. Every member of the guild persuaded him not to leave, but it wasn't until Night Terror had a talk with him in private that Makarov finally relented and maintained his position. Everybody was extremely thankful for him staying and it made it easier for all of them to return Fairy Tail back to normal.
Although, right now, Flare was wishing they were still in a crisis. That way she didn't have to deal with maths lessons from Ur.
"When Night told me to tutor you, did you really think I was going to just teach you magic?" Ur questioned as she sipped her cranberry juice.
"...yeah," Flare admitted.
"Well, tough luck, kid. You can't be a mage without a proper, well-rounded education. To be honest, you really should be at school right now. Not in a guild hall filled with heavy drinkers like her," Ur told her, pointing behind her towards Cana at the end of the bar who was drinking from her seventh barrel of beer of the day.
"Heeeeey! I'mm not dat bad, rite?" Cana drunkenly slurred in between gulps.
Flare lifted her head and wiped the tears from her eyes, "But Natsu and Grey properly don't-"
"If Natsu and Grey jumped off a cliff..."
"Yeah, I know. I know. I'll do the stupid thing," Flare sighed irritably and picked up her pencil, "That's the last time I'm ever using that dumb excuse."
From behind the bar, Mirajane walked up to them and offered the young girl a pretty smile.
"Ara, but you're doing so well," she told her encouragingly, "How about this. If you finish all your work today, I'll whip you up an ice cream sundae on the house."
Flare snapped her head up; her eyes dazzlingly in excitement at the promise.
"With strawberry sauce and cherries!?"
"Yep!" Mira chirped.
Ur frowned at the both of them, "It's ten in the morning. You're not eating ice cream so early in the day."
However, Flare looked up at her with teary eyes; practically begging her like how a puppy would demand a treat. Ur felt her heartstrings being pulled by the look and eventually gave a sigh reluctantly.
"Fine, but you can only have it after you have lunch."
"That's good enough," Flare said with newly found enthusiasm as she turned to the first question on her paper.
...
...
...
...
After a few seconds of blankly staring at the question, Flare's head slumped forwards in depression.
"I'm never going to have a sundae ever again," she moaned.
"Oh dear," Mira giggled in amusement while Ur rolled her eyes.
To take her mind off her work, Flare looked around the guild lazily. However, she perked up almost instantly when she noticed something. At least most of the guild, including the people she was closest to, were not here. Usually, there would be one or two of her friends hanging about and creating some sort of ruckus, but there was nobody.
"Hey, where is everybody?" she asked in surprise, "Night, Lucy, Grey, Natsu, Juvia and the others are not here."
Mira frowned slightly, "Oh, have you not heard?"
"Heard what?"
"She's been sick for a few days," Ur explained, "She must have missed the announcement."
"Ara, that explains it then."
"Seriously. What did I miss?" Flare questioned, growing slightly annoyed.
"They have gone to meet up with the rest of the alliance," a new voice grumbled unexpectedly.
Flare yelped in surprise and turned to her left to see Makarov sitting on the bar less than a few feet away. He sat cross-legged with a stein of beer in his hand and solemn expression on his face.
"How long have you been there!?" Flare yelled at him, her face flushed slightly in embarrassment. However, it quickly disappeared when she noticed what the guild master had said, "Wait, alliance?"
"Precisely," Makarov said, "Mira, would you mind demonstrating?"
"My pleasure," Mira chirped.
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a yellow light pen. She turned around and, using the pen, began to draw a chart right in the air in front of her. Flare watched in intrigue as Mira happily hummed and drew a large circle with three names in the centre of it. The names were: Oracion Seis, Tartaros, and Grimoire Heart. At the top of the circle, she then wrote a name that she had never heard of before: The Balam Alliance. Mira stepped back and gestured to the chart that she had just written.
"The Balam Alliance is a massive force that is stretched across Fiore. It is made up of three individual dark guilds. Oracion Seis, Tartaros and Grimoire Heart," Mira explained, her voice turning from cheerful to serious in a split second, "These three guilds have other lesser dark guilds under their thumbs and, therefore, have control of the majority of the underworld."
"The only one not included is Raven Tail," Ur said, "They do their own thing."
"I remember Lucy mention a dark guild called Phantom Lord," Flare said, "Are they part of this alliance thing?"
"Sort of. They actually work under Oracion Seis," Mira said.
"Am I supposed to remember all these names?" Flare questioned.
Ur smirked playfully at her, "Pay attention now. I might give you pop quiz."
"Ah, come on!"
Ur chuckled and pointed towards the chart in front of them, "You only have to focus on Oracion Seis. A dark guild with seven members that control one third of the entire underworld."
"Only seven," Flare uttered, "They must be pretty powerful then."
"Indeed, they are," Makarov spoke up as he sipped his beer, "That is why we're going to take them down in one go."
Flare's eyes widened in shock, "Take them down? You're kidding."
The master shook his head, "I'm afraid not. It was decided a few days ago at the guild members meeting. It had come to our attention that Oracion Seis is up to something and it can't be ignored. We must eliminate them."
They young girl nodded her head, now understanding what he was saying, "So, Fairy Tail's going to do that. Take out one third of the underworld in fell swoop."
"Not exactly," Makarov told her, "If Fairy Tail attacked Oracion Seis then we will endure the wrath of the other members of the Balam Alliance. That is why we must form an alliance as well."
As soon as he said that, Mira stepped to the right of the original chart and began to write four more names: Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Quatro Cerberus and Cait Shelter. She then circled the four names and then drew a little smiley face on top of it.
"More names, huh?" Flare dryly muttered.
"Our top guild members are heading towards an pre-assigned meeting point where they will join with the members of the other guilds before you. Natsu, Grey, Night, Erza, Lucy and Levy left last night. They should be there just in time to rendezvous with the others. With this powerful alliance, they will defeat Oracion Seis and rid Fiore of their grip of the underworld," Makarov said with a thoughtful hum.
"I see," Flare hummed before she grinned excitedly, "So, Night is going to take take on a bunch of powerful dark mages! He's going to annihilate them!"
"He sure will," Mira agreed happily.
"What part of 'alliance' do you not understand!?" Makarov yelled at them.
The young girl gave a toothy grin before her eyes widened in realisation, "Wait, why didn't Night tell me any of this?"
"He thought you would want to go with them," Ur answered.
"Of course I want to!"
"Well, there you go," she said with a teasing smirk, "You have already got yourself wrapped up in two seperate incidents. He thought it was best for you to stay here and get a real education."
"Aww, what!? No fair!"
En Route To Meeting Point
Meanwhile, travelling down a path through a dense forest, was a coach pulled by four black horses. From a distance, people would assume that there was nothing out of the ordinary about these horses; they neighed, trotted and whinnied like real horses. However, if you looked harder, you would realised that they not real, but they were made of shadows; conjured to life by the Phobos who was sitting on the front of coach with the reins in his claws.
They had left the Fairy Tail guild only yesterday and they were making good progress towards the destination. Inside the cramped coach, Lucy was happily writing in her journal whilst casting annoyed glares at Natsu who was groaning and complaining sickly as he slumped in his seat. Happy did his best to help him take his mind off his travel sickness telling him jokes and offering him fish, but, obviously, that hasn't worked. Grey was watching the scenery as they went by (with most of his clothes already gone) while Erza dusted some dirt on one of her many...many...many suitcases. There were so many inside and on top of the coach that Night Terror was forced to create two more shadow horses just so they didn't trail behind.
Lucy looked up from her journal and gave a slightly amused look at Erza.
"You know, I always wondered, what do you keep in your suitcases, Erza?" she asked curiously.
"Oh," the red haired mage said, "Just the essentials."
"Essentials?" Lucy sweat dropped.
Grey rolled his eyes, "You say that, but do you really need all that stuff. You pretty much wear the same thing everyday unless you need to requip. You don't need all those clothes."
"Kind of rich coming from you, you barely wear your own clothes," Lucy pointed out.
"It isn't just clothes," Erza argued, raising a single eyebrow at him, "I also have a tea set, food and supplies that we will need for the journey."
"We're only going for a few days," Grey complained, "If you didn't pack so much stuff we would have more space in this damn coach."
"I don't know why you're complaining," Levy's voice called back to them from the front of the coach, "At least you have a seat."
Night Terror, who was listening to the conversation as he drove, looked down at a red-faced Levy sitting on his lap. She was forced to sit there since there was no other seats available. Not only was it embarrassing for her to be sitting on somebody's lap at her age, but if you considered how small she was and how ginormous Night Terror was; it made for a very funny sight.
He offered her an apologetic look and fought down the urge to pat her head.
"My deepest apologies, Miss Levy. We should have rented a larger carriage back in Magnolia," he told her.
Levy turned her head up to him and smiled reassuringly.
"Don't worry, it's not your fault. It was either this or sitting on the luggage pile. Besides..." she said as she snuggled her back into his chest and winked at him, "You're actually pretty comfortable," she teased, causing the Phobos to flush in embarrassment.
Lucy poked her head out of the coach and rubbed the back of her neck, "You know, Levy, if you want to switch then I don't mind."
Suddenly, to her surprise, Happy fluttered around her head on his white wings.
"Oooo! Lucy wants to sit on Night Terror's lap," he teased as he placed a paw over his mouth, "First you're going on jobs together and now you're being all lovey-dovey!"
"Don't put it like that! I was only just offering!" Lucy shouted at him, "Besides, we didn't go on a job together. We just happened to meet there."
-A Couple Days Ago-
Love & Lucky Merchant Guild
Naked Mummy.
An oddly named gang that was notorious in these parts of Fiore who were nothing more than a bunch of stupid thugs with more hair than braincells (and it should be noted that they were all mostly bald).
The gang had taken over a merchant's guild and was holding everyone, both employees and bystanders, hostage and started demanding money from the guild's vaults with their guns. There were ten of them and all of them wore the same loose baggy trousers and jacket. The leader, a skinny man with a prominent brow, sunken eyes and large chin, paced up and down waving his shotgun in his arms. He glared at the terrified bound and gagged hostages with his murderous eyes and snarled angrily.
"What's taking so long, huh?" he sneered as he snapped his eyes towards the tellers who were desperately shoving handfuls of cash into sacks, "Tell them to hurry up, eh."
"You got it, boss," one of the thugs said as he slammed the butt of his gun into the teller's back, "You 'eard him. Go faster!"
One of the hostages, a young boy around ten years old, began to cry and whimpered through his gag. The leader, hearing the noise, turned his eyes towards the boy and pointed his shotgun at the crowd of hostages.
"Huh? Ya wanna die or somethin'," he growled.
The boy shook his head rapidly; tears streaming down his face. However, that only seemed to anger him further.
"Don't screw with me, you jerk!" he yelled as he aimed the gun at the boy and squeezed the trigger, "Eat this you little shit!"
The hostages cried out in shock and fear while the other thugs grinned in amusement. The leader was about to pull the trigger and end the boy's life...
...when a silver claw reached out from nowhere and placed its palm over the barrel.
"Err...what?" the leader uttered in confusion.
He followed the claw down and saw an arm enrobed in darkness emerge out from out of his own shadow. He suddenly felt his heartbeat quicken and a cold shiver run down his spine as a wave of pure fear washed over him. He grew more fearful as a figure emerged from the shadow and tower over him; the dark eyes of his skull mask glaring down at him. The leader tried to step back, but his legs were numb and didn't respond. He was completely helpless.
"Good afternoon," Night Terror darkly, but politely greeted, "Allow me to take this firearm. It has suddenly become redundant."
Using his finger and thumb, he pinched the end of the shotgun and effortlessly twisted the end upwards and then back around towards him.
"There we go," he said before he cast a look at the other thugs who looked just as terrified as their leader, "And now for the rest of you."
Suddenly, a shadowy tendril bust out of the darkest corner of the room and wrapped itself around the nearest thug. The thug screamed in fright as he was quickly ensnared before he was dragged into the shadows and disappearing in an instant.
"Big bro, no! Ah!" one of the other thugs cried out before he too was dragged away by another tendril.
Then five others were caught a second later. They cried and screamed as they were snatched from the light and pulled into the darkness. The last two thugs, regain some confidence, ran towards Night Terror with their weapons raised. However, one stepped into a shadow and fell into it; vanishing in a second. The other thug that was running with him looked back to see where he had disappeared, but he was met with a swift backhand from Night Terror's claw. He flew across the guild and slammed into the far wall painfully before slumping to the ground completely unconscious.
Night Terror and the leader look from the knocked out thug and then back to each other; both of them were fully aware of who was in charge.
"Now then," the Phobos said, "What should we do with-"
He stopped speaking when his attention was caught by a drilling noise. He turned his head around and saw a round section of the floor give way. He hummed curiously before he saw two familiar figures leap out of the hole and stand proudly.
"Okay, Virgo!" Lucy shouted as the Celestial Spirit stood beside her, ready to attack, "Take out those..." she trailed off when she looked around her and noticed Night Terror, "Night?" she questioned in confusion before noticing the knocked out thug on the far side of the room, "Ah, damn. You got here before me."
"Oh, Miss Lucy," Night Terror said in surprise, "My apologies. Did you want to..."
"No, no. I just heard that there was trouble here and I just rushed over," she told him as she searched around the room as if she was looking for someone, "Please continue."
"Are you sure? I will feel bad if I was intruding on your plan."
"Well, I did have a plan, but honestly it's fine."
"I am more than happy to bow out if you wanted to."
"You really don't have to. If anything we were interrupting you."
"If it helps, you could punish me," Virgo suggested, before glancing at the knocked out thug in envy, "Just like you did with him."
"How would that help!?" Lucy yelled in envy.
The leader of Naked Mummy and the hostages watched the exchange in bafflement. What had started as a violent robbery was over and it was now replaced by two strange mages, who seem to know each other, offering the other to take the lead as if it were the last slice of cake at a party and both were too awkward and polite to take it. The hostages were confused, but somewhat relieved that at least a few people came to their aid.
"Tell you what," Night Terror said as he gestured to the leader of Named Mummy before him, "You can take this one if you like. Would that be agreeable?"
Lucy gave the thug a lookover before she nodded and smirked in determination.
"Alright, I can do that," she said as she cracked her knuckles, "I've got a new special move that I want to try out."
"He is all yours," Night Terror as he stepped away, leaving the leader to look around in confusion.
"Wait? What?" he uttered, "What the hell is going on?"
His question was answered, but not in the way he would prefer it. Lucy sprinted towards him, making the leader's eyes widen in shock. Just as she was a meter away, she leapt up, raised her leg and...
"LUCY KICK!" Lucy exclaimed as she...well...kicked the thug in the face.
"M-Miss Lucy...Kick?" Night Terror uttered as he sweat dropped.
-Present-
"Don't know, sounds pretty romantic to me," Happy said with a shrug.
"WHAT PART OF THAT WAS ROMANTIC!?"
Grey turned his head over to her and raised an eyebrow, "What were you doing at the merchant's guild anyway? You rushed to it as soon as you heard about the robbery taking place."
Lucy fell silent for a few seconds and glanced away so nobody could see the saddened look in her eyes.
"I...I was just looking for somebody," she answered hesitantly, earning a worried look from Night Terror.
However, they didn't dwell on it for too long as Natsu groggily poked his head out the front of the coach and propped himself up with Lucy's head, much to her annoyance.
"Hey...Night..." Natsu whimpered, "You're not a...vehicle- gulp! - let me sit on your lap."
Lucy slammed her elbow into his jaw and knocked him back.
"GET OFF OF ME!" she yelled, "BESIDES, WHAT SORT OF LOGIC IS THAT!"
"It's the same logic that says that I don't make him sick when I fly him around," Happy chirped.
"THAT STILL DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!"
"Levy, please!" Natsu begged as he weakly tried to climb back over Lucy to get to the front, "Let me sit on his lap!"
"Umm..." Levy hummed.
"I SAID GET OF ME!" Lucy roared as he shoved him back.
"You know, it might be fun," Happy said as he flapped around the coach, "I'm tired of being in here. I want to sit in Night's lap."
"Hey! Happy! What are-gulp! -doing?"
Erza smiled and raised her hand casually, "Since everybody wants to, I guess I'll have a go at sitting on Night's lap as well."
"Hey! I- gulp! -asked first," Natsu complained.
"Why does everybody want to sit on my lap suddenly?"
"I didn't say I wanted to."
"And I appreciate that Mister Grey. I am not a chair, nobody else is going to sit on my lap other than Miss Levy," he scolded them gently, "Now everybody stay in your seats and keep your hands to yourselves...my goodness, I sound like I am running a kindergarten," he muttered in dismay, earning an amused giggle from Levy.
Night glared ahead at the dirt track up ahead; his eyes narrowed in focus as he gripped the reigns tighter.
"We need to be serious, we are dealing with enemies more powerful than any we have fought before," he said seriously, "Oracion Seis are a phantom in Fiore. They have done well to keep themselves a secret. I have been tracking this Dark Guild for a few years and have destroyed many of their underlings and the guilds they have working for them all over the country. However, these guilds' knowledge of their superiors are limited or non-existent; Oracion Seis' vast network of people has ensured their anonymity. As a consequence, I have uncovered almost nothing about the guild other then the names of their members. Mister Hoteye, Mister Racer, Miss Angel, Mister Cobra, Mister Midnight, Miss Verang and finally, their guild leader, Mister Brain," he said, listing of all the members he knew for definite, "Their magic and abilities are unknown to me, meaning they are a danger if we act too early. It will be, therefore, imperative to carry out Maighstir Makarov's and the other Maighstirs plan and join forces with the clansmen of the other guilds.I have met some of them before on my travels and, although some of them are a little...peculiar, they are all more than capable," he turned his head around to the coach, "I hope you will work well with them. For their aid will surely help-"
"NATSU, I SWEAR, IF YOU DON'T STOP TRYING TO SIT ON MY HEAD THAN I'LL KNOCK YOU OUT!"
"Please, Lucy! Only for a- Gulp! -short while!"
"Pfft! He only wants to sit on your head, because he thinks your lap is uncomfortable."
"SHUT IT, CAT! MY LAP IS PERFECTLY FINE! NOW GET OFF OF ME! YOU'RE HEAVY!"
"Hmm, I wonder if my lap is comfortable. Perhaps I should find an armour that is suitable for comfy lap pillows."
"Is that really practical? How often would you need- Oh crap! Why did nobody tell me about my clothes!?"
Night Terror gave his friends a deadpanned look as he realised that they had not been listening to what he was saying. He sighed and turned back around.
"Why do I even bother," he grumbled in Timorin.
"Keeps...things interesting...right?"
He was surprised when he heard his own language being spoke back to him and looked down at Levy looking up at him with a shy, but amused smile on her face. He blinked once...twice...before he gave a small chuckle.
"Your Timorin is coming along nicely, Miss Levy," he complimented, "I am glad that you are still learning."
"Thanks...I think. Sorry, you were going a bit fast," Levy told him.
"I said, you were doing very well. Although, you may have to work on your accent a little."
"Noted."
Night Terror smiled before he looked forwards and recognised where they were, "Ah, we have arrived everyone."
The coach drove off the dirt track and into a clearing that was cut into the forest around them where, in its centre, a large guild building was situated. It was made of pink bricks and wood painted bright gold with large round stained-glass windows with red love hearts designs on them. It was well maintained, despite how remote its location was, not single speck of dirt or any weed grew on its polished walls could be found.
Night Terror parked the coach just outside its large wooden doors and dispelled the shadow horses with a wave of his claw. As soon as it stopped, Natsu basically leapt off the coach and landed face first into the ground, sighing happily in relief.
"Finally! That nightmare's over!" he yelled as tears fell from his eyes.
"You have been very brave, Mister Natsu," Night Terror said as he leant an arm for Levy and than Lucy to climb off the coach.
"So, this is the place," Lucy said as she observed the front of the building, "It's nice."
"Eh, too cutesy if you ask me," Grey grumbled after he climbed off the coach and stood beside her, "What's with all the love hearts?"
"Maighstir Bob has always been one for all things cute and adorable. It is expected that he would design it this way."
"Master Bob?" Lucy inquired, "You mean the guild master for Blue Pegasus? The one we met at the master's meeting a while back."
"Of course," Erza said as she walked to the door and pushed it open, revealing to be unlocked, "It is one of his villas. He had let us borrow it for out meeting spot."
They entered the large dark hall with Night Terror having to carry Natsu inside with his shadows since he was still recovering from his travel sickness. The interior was wide with hardly any furnishings and a high ceiling that was too dark to see. Over at the far end from where they had entered, there was large stair case that led up to the first floor balcony that overlooked the ground floor. There were more rooms in the floor above, but what they were used for was not currently known.
The door to the guild hall closed shut behind them and plunged them more into darkness. The only sort of illumination came from the stained glass widows that lined the walls on either side of the building.
Levy peered into the darkness and gave a small hum, "It's so dark. I can barely see anything."
"Are we earlier or something?" Grey questioned.
Night shook his head, "We are not. In fact, we are on time for the dramatic entrance."
"Dramatic what?"
Suddenly, one large spotlight snapped to life and fell onto the carpeted staircase where three figures stood and posed for them. Lucy and Levy yelped in surprise while Erza and Night Terror sighed miserably. This was not their first time.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Fairy Tail," proclaimed one of the figures under the spotlight, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you. We are the delegation from Blue Pegasus...the trimens!"
The first figure stepped forwards and flicked his spiky brown blond hair alluringly before giving them a wink. He was handsome with fair skin and dark eyes and rather long eyelashes. He wore a double breasted black suit with a blue shirt underneath which seemed to sparkle under the spotlight; on his left shoulder was the mark of Blue Pegasus. He gave them a smirk as he posed with hands crossed over his chest.
"The name's Hundred Night Hibiki."
The next figure revealed himself to be another handsome young man with blond hair in a neat bowl cut. He had fair skin, dark eyes and a roundish face which made him look much younger than he actually is. He too wore a black suit, but he wore a pink shirt and a dark red tie that went with it.
"Holy Night Eve," he introduced himself as he pointed two of fingers towards them.
The last figure was taller than the other two with dark spiky hair that reached his shoulders. He, like his friends, was also handsome with dark tanned skin and sharp dark eyes that glared down at them in a non-threatening way. He wore a black suit which was open to reveal his blue shirt with the top buttons undone.
"Empty Night Ren," he coolly said as he flicked his hair dramatically.
"And we are here to serve you wonderful ladies," they all said together as they struck another pose.
Levy and Lucy sweat dropped at the display as the rest of the lights finally came on.
"I...guess that was cool and all, but how long have they been waiting for us?" Lucy said.
"Too long I reckon," Levy replied.
Night Terror cleared his throat and bowed his head to the three representatives of Blue Pegasus in greeting.
"Good day, gentlemen," he greeted, "We thank you for the warm reception and for the generosity of your Maighstir. Have the other guilds arrived or are we..."
He trailed off when he noticed that they were no longer there. He looked around and saw the trio had somehow managed to bring the three Fairy Tail women over to a sofa on the far side of the guild and we serving them drinks. They sat next to the rather uncomfortable women and doted on them like they were escorts at a bar with Eve sat next to Erza, Ren next to Lucy and Hibiki next to Levy.
"Ah, your face is simply marvellous, nii-chan," Eve complimented Erza as he gazed adoringly up at her, "I've always admired you."
"What are you talking about?" Erza asked him in confusion.
Meanwhile, Ren pushed a cocktail towards Lucy on the table, looking away so he didn't make eye contact with her.
"It's...not as if I made this for you or anything, alright?" he said uncaringly.
"Huh!? A tsundere!?"
"Hey there," Hibiki softly said as he saddled up to confused Levy, "You must be tired from your long journey," he said as he closed his eyes and began to lean in towards her, "Let us spend the rest of this night...together..."
"Thank you, but I would prefer to get down to business Mister Hibiki."
Hibiki's eyes snapped open at the dark voice and found that he was almost hugging Night Terror's arm. The Phobos had slipped in between him and Levy without him noticing. He screamed in surprise and fell of the sofa in shock as the others took notice of his presence.
"Gah!" Hibiki yelled before he glared at the Phobos angrily, "Damn it, Night Terror! Every time!?"
"Yes," the Phobos said as Levy giggled beside him, "It amuses me."
"𝒩𝑜𝓌, 𝓃𝑜𝓌, 𝓂𝓎 𝒻𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓃𝒹𝓈. 𝒟𝑜 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝒷𝑒 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓂𝒾𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝒷𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒫𝒽𝑜𝒷𝑜𝓈. 𝐻𝑒 𝓂𝒶𝓎 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓅𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓌𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓁𝑜𝑜𝓀. 𝒜𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒶 𝑔𝑜𝓇𝑔𝑒𝑜𝓊𝓈 𝓁𝑜𝑜𝓀 𝒾𝓉 𝒾𝓈."
A new voice caught their attention. It was a voice like honey and it oozed and flowed seductively around the hall. They turned back to the stair case and saw another figure, hidden in shadows, descending the stairs casually. As soon as Erza heard the voice, a shiver ran down her spine and her eyes grew wide in fear.
"Oh no, not him," she uttered.
"Who's him?" Lucy questioned in confusion.
Erza clenched her fists together and stood to her feet; glaring at the figure coming down the stairs, "Ichiya?"
"𝐼𝓃𝒹𝑒𝑒𝒹, 𝓂𝓎 𝒽𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓎. 𝐼𝓉 𝒽𝒶𝓈 𝒷𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝒶 𝓌𝒽𝒾𝓁𝑒."
The figure stepped out of the shadows and...well it was a surprising sight for all of them. The man who's voice was so mature and alluring was a short and fat man with a large square head. He had a mane of spiky red hair and a flat and yet angular face. His eyes were dark, thick red eyebrows and there was a patch of stubble on his prominent chin. He wore a bright white suit with golden buttons which shimmered under the light, an orange shirt, anred bowtie and a pair of brown loafers. He posed dramaticaly towards them and gave a (what he believed to be) a seductive wink.
"𝐼 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓈𝑒𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝓂𝓎 𝒽𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓎. 𝒲𝑜𝓇𝓇𝓎 𝓃𝑜𝓉, 𝐼𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓎𝒶 𝒾𝓈 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒~"
"Who the hell is that guy!?" Lucy, Levy and Happy yelled, "Why does he look like that!?"
"This is Mister Ichiyaof Blue Pegasus," Night Terror explained to them, "Despite everything, he is a brilliant mage and one of Maighstir Bob's top guild members."
"𝒟𝑒𝓈𝓅𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔?" Ichiya inquired.
Eve turned to Erza and offered a small bow, "So, you were the lover of Ichiga-sama. I must apologise for my conduct."
"I'm am not!" Erza shouted at him.
Ichiya gave a manly chuckle as he twirled around and posed before them, "𝑀𝓎, 𝓂𝓎. 𝒮𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓈𝑒 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒻𝒶𝓂𝑜𝓊𝓈 𝐹𝒶𝒾𝓇𝓎 𝒯𝒶𝒾𝓁 𝑔𝓊𝒾𝓁𝒹. 𝐼 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝒹 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊. 𝐸𝓇𝓏𝒶, 𝐿𝓊𝒸𝓎, 𝐿𝑒𝓋𝓎...𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑒𝑒..."
"Hey!" Natsu and Grey shouted at him, while Night Terror sweat dropped.
"...𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓈𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝑒𝓈 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓈𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝓌𝑜𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓂𝑒𝓈," he drawled as he sniffed the air around the women.
Lucy and Levy shivered in disgust.
"Creepy."
"He's the worst."
"He rather does have that impression," Night Terror commented, "When we first met, I thought he was some sort of strange creature for at least twenty minutes."
"𝒜𝒽! 𝒩𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝒯𝑒𝓇𝓇𝑜𝓇," Ichiya said as he pointed towards him, "𝐼𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒶 𝓃𝑒𝓌 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓂𝑒, 𝐼 𝒹𝑒𝓉𝑒𝒸𝓉? 𝒲𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒾𝓉? 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓂𝑒𝓁𝓁 𝑜𝒻 𝒻𝑒𝒶𝓇? 𝒪𝒻 𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓇𝑜𝓇? 𝒪𝓇 𝒾𝓂𝓅𝑒𝒹𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒹𝑜𝑜𝓂?"
"It is lavender. I recently changed my shampoo," Night Terror calmly replied, "Now, please stop smelling me."
"Hey, insufferable dandies of Blue Pegasus," Grey muttered, catching their attention, "Are you guys done playing male escort? We're here for a reason."
"Mister Grey, please," Night Terror urged.
The members of Blue Pegasus gave the Ice mage a glare as they dropped their 'pretty boy' routine. The air grew tense within the hall between the two guilds. After a few seconds, Ichiya sniffed and waved his hand dismissively at the male Fairy Tail members.
"𝒲𝑒𝓁𝓁, 𝓃𝑜𝒷𝑜𝒹𝓎 𝒾𝓈 𝓀𝑒𝑒𝓅𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓂𝑒𝓃 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔. 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝓇𝓊𝓃 𝒶𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝒾𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒."
"Hold on!" Grey yelled in disbelief, "Are you Pegasus punks trying to pick a fight? Sending over a bunch of womanising creeps."
Ren growled furiously, "What did you call us?"
"We're powerful mages as well, you know," Eve threatened.
"A fight!" Natsu yelled as he jumped into the air and pumped his fists, "I'm in! I'm all fired up!"
"Mister Grey, Mister Natsu, that is enough," Night Terror demanded seriously, "Stop this before somebody gets hurt!"
Erza was about to chime in when her eyes widened as she felt a chill roll down her spine. She turned her head around and saw Ichiya behind her, getting closer and closer with his sniffing nose.
"𝒪𝒽, 𝐸𝓇𝓏𝒶...𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓂𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝑔𝓁𝑜𝓇𝒾𝑜𝓊𝓈 𝒶𝓈 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈."
SLAMMM!!!
"DON'T COME NEAR ME!!" Erza roared as she punched him in the face, sending him flying off his feet.
"𝑀𝑀𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒜𝒩𝒩𝒩𝒩𝒩𝒩!!!" Ichiya cried as he sailed across the hall.
"Too late," Night Terror sighed miserably.
Ichiya continued to fly through the air towards the main door. He would have crashed into (or possibly through it) if the door hadn't opened at that moment and someone caught his head in their grasp.
"Interesting way of greeting people. Do you usually welcome others like this?" he figure asked as he froze Ichiya's head completly.
Grey's eyes widened in shock as he saw who if was. The spiky white hair; the bored look in his eyes; his cold tone. It was somebody he was very familair with.
"Leon!?" Grey cried out in suprise.
"Huh? Grey?" Leon replied, equally as shocked.
Leon; the ice mage who had trained alongside Grey when they were children under Ur and the same person who awoke Deliora in order to save her. Night Terror was surprised as well before he noticed the symbol of Lamia Scale on the shoulder of his coat.
'I see. So he joined Lamia Scale. I guess that would make sense. They are a powerful guild just like Fairy Tail,' he thought as Leon tossed the frozen Ichiya at Grey.
Grey managed to dodge out of the way before he was hit, allowing Ichiya to sail past and slam into a nearby wall. He glared at the other Ice Maker mage and snarled angrily at him.
"What was that for!?"
"You threw him at me first," Leon replied with a shrug, "Is Master Ur still with you?"
"I'm fine. Thanks for asking," Grey snapped sarcastically, "And, by the way, Master Ur is fully fledged member of Fairy Tail where her skills are put to good use."
"Wasted. More like," Leon sneered, "Master Ur would be better suited for Lamia Scale. The most powerful guild in Fiore."
"What was that!?" Natsu snarled at him, "Hey, Grey, I want to beat this guy up again!"
"Get in line," the Ice mage muttered.
"Hey, you white haired freak!" Ren yelled as Hibiki and Eve picked up a still frozen Ichiya, "Don't think you can just get away with throwing our big bro around!"
Hibiki clicked his tongue, "Arrogance isn't an attractive look. Why don't we face off like real men!" he snarled before he noticed Ichiya, his head still encased in ice, point towards Erza, "What's that, big bro? You want us to take you over to Erza?"
"Don't you dare!" Erza yelled at them.
Levy took a step back from the shouting and the vicious glares. She had been with Fairy Tail long enough to know that a fight was going to break out at any moment.
"This is getting intense, Lucy," she said as she turned towards her blond friend, "What should we d- ah! What happened to you!?"
Levy looked up to see Lucy had plucked from off the floor and wrapped up in a long carpet that seemed to have taken a life of its own. Lucy gave a muffled scream as she flailed her arms and legs inside the carpet, trying her best to get out before she was swallowed completly. Levy stared helplessly up at the carpet before she heard a loud tutting sound from behind her.
"Oh, silly Lucy. You fall for the simplest of tricks, don't you?"
Levy turned around and Lucy popped her head out of the carpet to find yet another familair figure standing near Leon. Her long pink hair, her red lips, the love sick expression that never left her face. Lucy recognised her and the magic she used in an instant.
"Sherry!?" Lucy exclaimed from within the carpet, "You're here as well!"
"Why, yes," Sherry, the Puppet mage who helped Leon awaken Deliora, sighed lovingly as she waggled her finger to manipulate the carpet, "However, I'm no longer the person I was in the past. I have been reborn for the sake of love."
"Then...can you let her go now," Levy pleaded.
Sherry grinned cruelly, "Of course not. I will never forgive you what you did to me. You tricked me."
"What happened to being reborn!" Lucy shouted, "Besides, I didn't trick you. I won fair and square."
"I don't remember it like that! I only remember your ugly face!"
"THAT'S IT! LEVY! ATTACK HER!"
"W-what me!?"
"ENOUGH!"
At the ferousious bellow, everybody stopped what they were doing as they felt their hearts jump in their chest. Natsu and Grey backed away and instantly dropped their battle stances. Leon lost his composure and gasped in fear. The delegrates of Blue Pegasus felt their knees go weak and their snarls were replaced with terrified expressions. Sherry yelped as she felt fear strike her like lightning, making her lose control of her Puppet magic...and drop Lucy as well. Lucy screamed as she fell, but a shadowy tendril caught her before she could hit the marble floor and put her back on her feet.
Night Terror, the one who shouted, glared down the mages and towered over them intimidatingly, radiating enough Fear magic to immoblise all of them from fighting. He growled angrily from beneath his helmet as he shot a deadly look at each person, making them back away in fear from him. Eventually, Night Terror tsked in annoyance before he conjured a shadow tendril to break through the ice block Ichiya was trapped in.
"𝑀𝒜𝒩!!" Ichiya cried out.
"What are you all doing?" Night Terror snapped, "If you could cast your minds back to a few minutes ago, you would remember the reason why we are all here. Oracion Seis is up to something and we are here to stop it before any more lives are lost by their hand. Is your bickering and your childish arguments worth the hundreds, and possibly thousands, of lives at risk?" he questioned.
Their response was silent, but telling. Some of them turned away guiltily while others frowned in disappoinment in themselves.
"I did not think so," Night Terror hummed as he lowered the amount of Fear magic he was emitting, "Now all of you behave and work together. I will not tolerate any more guild rivalry from now on," he turned his head towards the open door, "Is there anything I missed, Mister Jura?"
"No, I believe you covered everything, Night Terror."
At the sound of the new voice, everybody turned to see another person stood at the door. He was a tall, muscular man with fair skin and a shiny bald head. He had oval shaped markings over his dark eyes and a brown bead on his square chin. His chest was bare, but he wore a blue and white striped mantle that was strapped to his shoulders by two belts that crossed over his chest. Around his waist, was a long dark blue loincloth that was held up by a simple belt and he wore a headgear shaped like a crocdile's head complete with sharp pointed teeth. In his hand was a long staff that ended in a crystal ball on the top.
The man, known as Jura, strode into the guild hall and glared at each member individually.
"We are here to form an alliance," he told them seriously, "Fighting anongst ourselves will not defeat Oracion Seis."
"Jura," Erza uttered in surprise.
"No way," Ren said, "That man is..."
"The ace of Lamia Scale," Hibiki nodded, "Rock Iron Jura."
"Who?" Natsu whispered to Happy.
"He's one of the Ten Great Holy Mages. How do you not know that," the blue cat said.
Natsu shurgged, "Don't know."
Lucy shook her head and stepped back, "Even I've heard of him."
"Yeah, this guys is pretty much a legend," Levy agreed.
"I see," Sherry hummed as placed a finger to her lips, "Six fairies and four Pegasi...but surely us three will be sufficient, hmm?"
"Actually, Miss Sherry," Night Terror coldly said as he suddenly appeared next to her, making her scream and jump behind Lucy, "We are currently waiting for the delegates for Quatro Cerberus and Cait Shelter," he said before turning to Jura, "Any word from them, by chance."
Jura hummed, "None at all. We shall have to wait for them to arrive."
"𝐻𝓂𝓂? 𝐹𝓊𝓃𝓃𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓈𝒶𝓎 '𝒹𝑒𝓁𝑒𝑔𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓈'," Ichya drawled as he brushed his hair with his hand, "𝐹𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝐼 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝒹, 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒞𝒶𝒾𝓉 𝒮𝒽𝑒𝓁𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝑔𝓊𝒾𝓁𝒹 𝒾𝓈 𝑜𝓃𝓁𝓎 𝓈𝑒𝓃𝒹𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓂𝒶𝑔𝑒."
"What!? Only one mage!?" Grey shouted as the others looked at Ichiya in shock, "They couldn't send at least two people."
"Maybe it's somebody stupidly powerful," Lucy suggested.
Night Terror hummed thoughtfully before he sensed somebody coming towards the main door. He looked around, expecting to see another mage from either Quatro Cerberus or Cait Shelter, but he was suprised to see a young girl trot through the door.
But not any young girl. It was the same girl he had seen on the way back to Magnolia the other day. The one with the strange magic that he had sensed from her.
Her long blue hair whipped behind her as she ran in; her little shoulder bag clutched tightly in her hands. She look tired as if she had ran all the way here, but still smiled happily nonetheless. The other mages took notice of her almost immediatly just as she waved at them in greeting.
"Hi, sorry I'm late-ah!"
She tripped over her own feet and fell face first onto the floor.
While the others still remained shocked by her apperance, Night Terror immediately made his way to her and kneeled in front of her. He offered his claw out to her so she could get up.
"Are you well, young one?" he asked.
"Owwy," the young girl moaned as she rubbed her aching face, before she reached out and took his claw, "Thank you. Sorry about that. My name is Wendy and I'm here from Cait Shelter," she introduced herself as she looked up, "It's a pleasure to meet y-"
She stopped when she noticed the metal claw that she was holding onto. Her eyes travelled up the long shadowy arm and then up to grinning skull face of Night Terror, towering over her scarily.
"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Wendy," he greeted her politely, "Welcome to the guild alliance."
...
...
...
The girl, now known as Wendy, froze as she stared up at him. She began to sweat, steam rose up from her head and her eyes began to spin around in their sockets. She could only give a small squeak in fear before she...
THUMP!
...fainted in his arms.
...
...
...
...
"...oh dear."
"NIGHT JUST KILLED A LITTLE GIRL!"
"No, I did not! Be quiet Mister Happy!"
That's it for now.
Sorry this took a while. I have been busy for the last couple of weeks and have been finding it difficult to find the time to write.
Anyway, the Oracion Seis is now underway and I have decided to go with some of MDM11's ideas. So, I added Levy and the Quatro Cerberus to this arc. I even added a new member of Oracion Seis...although, technically they should be called Oracion Sete because of the seventh member. Although, technically Cubellios and Klodoa are also part of it and I guess you can count Zero as another member. All I'm saying is...don't @ me, alright?
Thanks so much for reading and I hope to see you next time.
Bye! Happy Halloween!
Omake- Daily Lives of Victor Soul's OCs
Recap: The OCs are deciding who is going to be in their future harems. See the omake on chapter 11 of 'Voyage Of The Cavalier' for more details. But, be warned, if you do then that's basically homework and homework is for nerds.
Victor Soul's Office
Victor looked over the sheet that Night Terror had filled out and nodded approvingly.
"Good, good," he mumbled before he looked up at the Phobos sat across from him, "Quite a list you got there. Didn't think you would go into the whole harem thing. I know Michael was too thrilled about it."
"Initially, I was not, but I soon came to understand why you have done this," Night Terror said, making Victor hum in interest.
"Really? You do?"
"Indeed. You are the author and we are your creations. Your paramount concern for us is to ensure we have a wonderful future with a family who loves and cares for us and vise versa. You do not want us to give us the curse of choosing who we should spend the rest of our lives beyond the end of our stories and so you gave us a way to share our love to all who wants it. There are no perverted intentions nor do you want to degrade women for some misogynistic reason. Your true motive is to make sure that every character that deserves it is happy. After all, all stories must have a happy ending," Night Terror said with a small bow of his head, "Am I correct in assuming that is the case?"
Victor smiled and nodded his head, "You're right. I want all my OCs to have a happy family," he said as he leaned back on his chair, "Thanks so much for underst-"
Suddenly, as he was leaning back, a piece of paper slipped out of his pocket accidentally and fluttered to the ground. Victor yelped and grabbed for it, but he missed. The paper landed right said up and Night Terror could see that there was an image on it...
...an image of Juvia in her 'Rock Of Succubus' persona that she had transformed into at the Tower Of Heaven.
Night Terror looked at the image in confusion.
Victor looked at the image nervously.
Night Terror looked at Victor accusingly.
Victor looked at his feet guiltily.

"...I'm...using it for research...for a new character."
"No, you're not."
"Okay, so my internions are not 100% innocent."
"Pervert."
"I'm allowed to like hot women! Is that a crime!"
