My third drabble collection, this will be mainly drabbles written for the dw100 community, although there may be others inspired by other challenges. Characters and ratings will vary, both canon and non-canon can be expected, and suggestions are welcome.

Summary: The TARDIS arrives on a grim and desolate world.

It was a drab place, everything in shades of beige and grey. Even the people blended into their surroundings, dressed in shapeless robes of un-dyed homespun cloth. Their skin was pale and dull, their hair lank and lustreless, their expressions grim.

They'd come here expecting to start a new life, but this wasn't the paradise planet the mining corporation had promised them. They'd been lied to and now they were trapped here, forced to work the mines.

A strange noise filled the air, and something took shape, a splash of blue against grey rocks.

Everyone stared. Was this their salvation?
