The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!
Hope you enjoy!
Prompt: "A is for organization."
"According to what alphabet?"
"Why the hell is all of my paperwork on the floor, Swede?"
"What makes you think that it's my fault?"
Jacoba glared up at Gunnar from her position half-kneeling on the floor, gathering up the paperwork that was supposed to be on her desk in the hanger. She had only been away for a couple of minutes or so, but when she returned with her bottle of water, they were all on the floor. Scoffing she turned back to picking them up as she addressed him. "Oh, I don't know, Viking. Maybe because you are the only person in here and I was only gone for a couple of minutes? And don't you blame it on a fan or breeze, because all of the doors are closed, and all of the fans are off!"
The Viking sighed as he knelt down to help her. "I don't know what you want me to say, woman. Other than the fact that I've been over at my truck ever since I got here. So, how could I have messed with you?"
As the Amazon looked over at him again, she caught movement out the corner of her eye. Turning towards the movement, she saw Yin standing there. Furrowing her brow, she felt Gunnar pause next to her, meaning that he'd noticed his partner was there as well. "Got something to say, Yin?"
The martial artist cocked his head at her. "Did you know that A is for organization?"
Jacoba's eyebrows went up into her forehead as she looked over at Gunnar, whose own eyebrows were furrowed. He shared a look with her before speaking up to his partner. "According to what alphabet?"
As Yin just stood there looking at them, Jacoba tilted her head slightly, her mind working overtime as she put the pieces together. After a minute, she stood suddenly and slammed the papers in her hands down onto her desk. "It was you."
Gunnar stood now, his brow furrowing even more. "You mean that Yin knocked all of you papers onto the floor?"
"So, it would seem." As Jacoba looked over at Gunnar, she caught a glimpse of movement in her peripheral vision. Turning quickly, she groaned as she saw that Yin had taken advantage of her momentary lapse of attention to scoot out of the room. "And there he goes."
Gunnar scoffed before patting her shoulder. "I'm sure you'll get him next time, woman. Want to go get some food?"
"Yeah, sure. It's not like I'm going to get any paperwork done anyways. Let's go."
