The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "Are you clinically insane or incredibly annoying?"

"I don't know probably both."

"What the hell, J.D.?"

Jacoba Dixie Kooper rolled her eyes as she looked up from where she was seated in the hanger's sitting room and knitting. As she did so, she saw Toll Road standing there. He looked like she had killed his dog or something. She gave him what she hoped was an almost innocent look and smiled. "Nice to see you too, Toll. How can I help you?"

Toll practically growled as he stalked over to her. "What the hell did you say?"

She rolled her eyes again before furrowing her brow. "What did I say to whom? And when?"

He narrowed his eyes at her. "What do you mean what did you say and when?" At her look that showed that she was not understanding what he was referencing, he threw his hands up and turned away from her, groaning. After a moment, Toll turned back to her with his arms crossed and a frown on his face. "What did you tell Caesar this morning?"

Jacoba's face lit up in realization as she finally remembered the conversation he was talking about. "Oh, that conversation! Umm, what do you need to know about it?"

"J.D." Toll's exasperated voice and sigh made Jacoba hold back her smile, but also take pity on the man.

"Alright, I may or may not have told Caesar that the gun that he loves so much wasn't there when I did inventory last night. What I didn't tell him was that I hid it in that space behind the cockpit. Mostly to save us from listening to him gush over it for a little bit. Why?"

Toll groaned and rolled his eyes. "He's been running around looking everywhere and all he will say when asked about it is 'Jacoba said' and refuses to elaborate." He gave Jacoba a critical look. "Are you clinically insane or just incredibly annoying?"

Jacoba just shrugged. "I don't know. Probably both. So, are you going to go play savior and tell your partner where to find his equipment?"

Toll scoffed and gave her a calculated look. After a moment, he smirked. "Nah, I'll probably let him search for a little bit longer before I nudge him in the right direction. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch my partner lose his shit."

As Toll walked away to Jacoba's laughter, he just shook his head. That woman was borderline crazy."
